I've always wanted to write a blog. In the past, I've tried journaling, scrapbooking, planning, and the few times I've stuck with it it really paid off. I was able to see things more clearly, and little moments I would've otherwise forgotten were there for me to revisit whenever I wanted without taking up brain space. However, because I wasn't accountable to anyone, every time I just wandered off(I do that). So I think that especially now that my life has become so busy, 'a blog will honestly help'(SHERLOCK-sorry) me gain perspective. Maybe that's just my ego wanting to think that people would actually be interested in my life, but things have been happening to me lately that are almost cliche-ly narrative but thematically cool for the real world. Well, my world anyway. See:

1. I've moved from sunny Southern California to Germany for school, where I live in a basement. with a bunny. his name is Ben.

2. become friends(? maybe?) with some amazing 'normal' GIRLS(an amazing feat for this tomboy/awkward nerd)

3. my acne's cleared up (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )

4. I have an amazing, witty, hilarious best friend in the states I've known since kindergarten with whom I Skype nearly everyday, during which he offers his own off-beat commentary to my life (also I may or may not be starting to have feelings for him...)

5. I discovered parenthesis (ha)

6. an endless stream of crazy family members taking advantage of the fact that they have a relative who lives in Europe to come and stay with me *note* in the basement.

7. I live in EUROPE and I wander and travel to tons of bizarre, ancient, fantastic places ALL THE TIME

Okay so this blog's basically going to be a travel log/dramatized diary. Not that original, but WAIT! There's MORE!

Because I'm a chicken and would never ever EVER write about my life seriously anyway, I'm going to ponify it. That's right folks; it's gonna be completely ponified. It'll be like a magical candy colored dream where all my friends and family are ponies/pegasi/unicorns and we're all vegetarian. That way, the real people will never find out(closet pegasister,"they'll never find me here ")and I can safely observe and assess my life while brushing up my creative writing skills and providing entertainment at the same time. Plus it'll be fun to ponify the names of cities and places I go to(any suggestions for London[could use Trottingham, like in Luna Eclipsed], Paris, or Casa Blanca?).

I can't promise anything, but I'll try to post twice a week for at least the rest of the summer. Maybe Sunday&Thursday. Mind you, I'm not expecting this blog to be so popular that you'll all be inches away from your screens at 11:59 Wednesdays and Saturday nights for my next entry. I'm just making a deadline for myself 'cause otherwise I'll go to Russia for a month and forget all about it. Like I said, I wander

Well I guess that's it. I'm so glad to have found such an amazingly talented and accepting fanbase in MLP:FiM. It's a bunch of love wrapped up in rainbows and shot out of a cyber-party cannon that can reach anyone, anywhere in the world. Therefore, in my travels and personal life, I will be searching for the magic of friendship wherever I go. From now on, I am Sandy Sea, and these are my adventures. See you around!
