Grinning Moon

There it is again,

the grinning crescent moon,

Smiling down on us,

Like it knows something comes soon.

Surrounded by the stars,

In the sparkling skies,

Methinks I see some mischief,

In those twinkling eyes.

No-one understand decisions I make,

Why I enjoy this terror in my wake.

Call us what they, hate us all the day,

They won't escape the truth, they helped along the way.

Looking behind, I see hatred in their eyes,

No matter what reward, is being lonely worth the prize?

They banished us eternally, for the power we posses,

It's bee avoided long enough, they'll know of our distress.

I never thought it would come to this, my final ticking stroke,

Stopping time across the world, laughing as they croak.

Finnally our wonders and our dreams,

Closer now than the past ten centuries.

We will make them fear us, lonily despise,

That they forgave sister and her eternal lullabys.

They forgave her without a second thought,

But WE are not as easy bought.

Now they will suffer, now shall they plea,
