*Munch Munch* Good Morning Denizens of Canterlot.com!

I am Xan, if you haven't known that already! To all of you new ponies roaming around and finding your ways in Canterlot; welcome! I as well as the other members here do wish for you all to have a great time and meet with all of you.

Joining me today is our very own musical duo; Octavia and Vinyl Scratch! How are you two this morning?

"It's too early for this..."

"Don't mind her. It's nice to be able to get to speak to everypony here. Thank you for inviting us."

Don't mention it. Alright, so what's on the menu for today. Today, we'll be looking into what I have in store as in story wise, as well as recent games I've gotten myself hooked into.

"Oh, that's a new addition to your blogs from before."

*Munch* Indeed it is, so let's begin! ...Oh, thanks again for the breakfast wrap. It's delicious!

"It was the least I could do."

First off, the Ali-Relic Hunters:

I've been at a recent stump as to what to do beyound chapter three... I have a sequence of events to come, but I need fillers or else this story will be very short and won't make a lot of sense.

"Why not just post what you got already, read it over, and get ideas that way? That way sounds like coins to me!"

I would, but that's not my process. Here's how my process goes when writing a story:

First, I think on the premise of the story a lot.

Next, I say it outloud to myself and/or to a friend, chapter by chapter, and see what can be improved.

Third, I write it down and proofread the chapter just to make sure it still flows, and make the adjustments where it needs it.

Then lastly, I type it up, look it over, make more adjustment, look over again, repeat until 'perfect'.

Post

Money!

Heh, just kidding on that last part.

"Seems like too much work if you ask me..."

"Actually, that seems about right for a story writer. So what haven't you posted the chapters that you have completed already?"

Because when I first talked about the story, I said I wouldn't post anything till I had five chapters down... but I'm starting to see that it's a little harder than I thought.

"Well, hey. If you're trying to impress a crowd and give your stuff hype, making them wait isn't a good idea. Ponies that were once interested will lost their interest. That was something I had to learn pretty quick."

True... well, maybe I can reduce how may chapters I'll have to write till I post from five to three so that I can start posting when I can.

"That sounds like a brillant idea!"

Alright then! It's settled, I'll start posting chapters up to the Ali-Relic Hunters as soon as I can; hopefully by the end of this week, or the early of next week by the latest!

Next up is my other story... that I still have no name for and no premise. Seriously, this story will be writing itself, being as random as it can be.

"Sounds interesting and inovative... but that may have to be put on hold. If I were you, I would focus on one story at a time."

"Yeah, you're pretty stressed as it is already without overloading yourself anymore."

I suppose you two are right. Very well then, I'll focus more on the Ali-Relic Hunters and get that gravy-train rolling some more.

I guess with that, We'll be moving onto the game section of this blog!

Since the last time I've talked to you all, I've gotten a few new games from Steam as well as a few other sites.

First off from Steam, I got both Terraria and Starbound!

"Oh! I've heard of Starbound!"

"You have?! How?"

"Trust me, sister. I've seen and heard of a lot of things."

And we can leave that right there for now. Alright, lets start with Terraria; why is it good, and why should you care?

Let me ask you a question. Do you like Minecraft? Yeah you do. Do you like to dig? To build? To explore? Killing monsters is your thing? Well hey, Minecraft has it all. So does Terraria. So why buy it?

Terraria is a two dimensional side scrolling game where all you do is dig, build, search, survive, explore, and improve everything! Just like Minecraft, you have to build certain structures to be able to obtain and build other structures, but in Terraria, there are so much more to build and find throughout the entire game.

Regular Terraria = Heavily modded Minecraft

Even further than just the build and explore aspect, there are so many enemies in Terraria, some will only come out after you complete a part of the game; just like the werewolves and light creatures will not come out until you defeat the WoF (Wall of Flesh). Also, there are so many more bosses as well. I guarantee you won't be bored for one reason or another. Just recently yesterday, I was getting into the aspect of wiring and teleporting. Fun!

"Wow, I haven't played either one of those, but they both sound, how should I say..."

"Amazing!"

"Yes, lets go with that. Please do continue Xan."

I shall. Now then, what about Starbound? If Terraria is like a heavily modded version of Minecraft, then Starbound is like Terraria on a TF2 x10 server... with different planets that you can visit, and an actual story behind it! This game includes things that Terraria had missed out on, like a hunger meter, temperature; yes, if you get too cold, you will take damamge and die; and a gun that removes both ground blocks as well as background blocks! By remove, I mean destory and add into your inventory. More music--

"Sweet!"

--more monsters, more bosses, and a ton of things to do.

Both games are a great buy in my book, and there are a lot of things more you can do that I didn't mention in either of my details. If you want to find out more, youtube them suckers or get your own copy. If you do get a copy of Terraria, I run my own server, so if you want to play, just let me know!

Alright, now that I get that out of my system, there's one more game that I got that really interest me, but I haven't gotten to play that much. It's known as Nether.

"That sounds creepy... what is it about?"

It's a MMO FPS RPG set as a zombie apocalypse, ecept the zombies are not what you normally think as one to be. No, these ones can TELEPORT!

"Well that doesn't seem fair!"

That's right, but they are easy to kill... when they're alone. In a pack though... Well, you get the idea. Plus they remind me of he necro-zombies from Call Of Duty: Black Ops.

Well, I think that's all the time we have to this morning. Vinyl, Octavia; thank you both for joining me.

"Any time!"

"It was a real pleasure."

I'm glad, and as always, I'll see every on my next update!

Always

- Xan
