Eye colour: Brilliant amber with orange highlights, the color of a southern sunset.

Character colour: Light yellow olive.

Mane/Tail/Other: Apple Bloom's bright amaranth hair runs in well-kept rounded bangs with shoulder-length locks of her mane falling neatly behind her ears. Her tail arcs neatly with the same rounded. well-kept, somewhat poofy appearance of her mane. A bright pink bow sits neatly on the back of her head, adding to her height and character appearance.

Physique: Apple Bloom is a young pony; on the throes of marehood, but still with a way to go. As she is an Earth Pony, and a member of the mighty Apple Family, she does have a bit of heft to her, despite her size.

Residence: Sweet Apple Acres, Ponyville. The beautiful and proud farmstead of the Apple Family, surrounded by apple orchards of all kind. When not at home helping her family tend the farm, she might be in her nearby Cutie Mark Crusader clubhouse set as a bastion in the branches of a large apple tree, or attending Ponyville School with her friends.

Occupation: Student, primarily. When not studying in class, she is either helping her family on the farm, or divising ways to obtain her cutie mark. She also likes to play fetch with Winona, the farm dog.

Unique Traits: Apple Bloom is the youngest of the Apples currently living in Sweet Apple Acres. She is the little sister of both Applejack and Big Mac, and Granddaughter of Granny Smith. She's a precocious young filly, having studied with Zecora for a spell; then, garnered tutelage under Twilight Sparkle for additional study with potions. Her defining trait is her adorable country accent, brilliant pink bow, and never-say-die attitude. She is not a tomboy, nor a girly-girl. She is an everyfilly, but still her own pony. She's adaptive and is quick to connect the dots, and cares deeply for her friends, though she can hunker down and put it straight if need be, just like her big sister, who is also notorious for her steadfast honesty.

History: Not much is own about Apple Bloom's early years, only she is now under the care of her loving siblings and Grandmare. Despite her name, she is a bit of a not-there-yet-bloomer, at least as far as cutie marks go. As such, she devotes much of her time with her friends, trying to devise ways to define her very fate -- or at least get a snapping awesome flank decoration in the process. She's been on many adventures with her friends; chased by monsters in Everfree, starred in school and winter plays in front of the entire town of Ponyville; assisted her big sister and brother on numerous adventures, and been in trouble for accidentally making her teacher fall in love with her big brother with a poorly-planned love potion. She likes to participate in events with her big sister, including the vaunted Sisterhooves Social and selling apples at the Ponyville Farmers' Market. Er...maybe not selling apples. She is part of the Cutie Mark Crusaders organization, devoted to helping young ponies find their cutie marks.

Character Summary/Personality:

Apple Bloom is a precocious, brave, and striving to be her own sort of filly. She has an aura of skeptical intelligence, which is muted by her small stature and down-home country accent. It's too easy to pass her off as a simple country filly, but those who know her also know better. She is quick to point out when she isn't happy and why, and eager to correct whatever is bothering her. She is an easy subject of deep envy, as some of the other students are ahead of her in the cutie mark game, though she has never fallen victim to the throes of such feelings, even if they tempt her to fall to them. Apple Bloom can be a bit of a tease, especially if she's not getting her way. She especially likes to play pranks on her older siblings. In contrast to this, she is a never-say-die kind of filly; strong-willed, and a determined optimist in the face of a problem. As she is young, she can still be naive now and then, but she is also quite sharp, and can assess a situation to quickly determine what is happening and why. On the other side of her personality, she's caring and sweet -- she loves to play with the farm animals that take residence in Sweet Apple Acres, and will gladly give up her free time to help her older siblings with farm chores. She's honest to a point, and is great at sharing her feelings and thoughts in a tactful way. You won't find a more solid and well-rounded friend, even though she can be amazingly stubborn.

Apple Bloom hates being treated like a baby pony. She may be a down-home kind of country filly, but she is very intelligent and will speak her mind at the drop of a hat. However, as she is the youngest of the Apples, it's second-nature to be treated as the baby of the family -- she technically is! She is quite eager to prove herself however possible; be it with additional chores, finding ways to help her friends and family, and not getting eaten by monstrous creatures in Everfree and beyond. She will dive face-first into a problem, and will do whatever it takes to figure it out on the fly. She's an Apple, and though she may be the youngest, Apples never lay down and give up!
