Rara has a long straight mane that curls at the end of it. Her mane has a Dark grey indigo color with some opal colored highlights in it, the same color as her eyes.

When she is in her stage costume, and refers herself as Countess Coloratura, she has a really long mane and tail that is light ostrich grey colored some dyed moderated purple colored steaks in it.

Physique:

Rara has the average mare physique of ponies her age, though when she is in her stage attire, her mane makes her look slightly smaller than she really is.

She is also a natural born singer, having a really beautiful voice and a clear one when it comes to singing without the spells she uses in most of her songs.

 

Residence:

Rara lives in her mansion on Manehattan, she bought it thanks to how famous and rich she became thanks to her so popular singing career.

Cutie Mark:

Rara has a 5 pointed golden star with 5 eighth note symbols around it that start, each of a different color and like if they were positioned in a circle. When Rara sings with all her heart, her cutie mark starts shining brightly, filling the ones that hear her voice fill their heart with joy.

Her cutie mark represents not only her love for singing, but also how skilled she is whit anything musical related, having great skills with musical instruments, not just singing.

 

Rara was born with a really clear and beautiful voice. She grew up trying to look for her talent, like most fillies and colts, but ever saw singing as it, just a hobby she really loved. She tried a lot of things, from helping ponies around the city or trying different jobs, but no results. One day, her school had to host a musical and the teacher chose Coloratura to sing. She was shy at first, but she managed to beat her fears and sang with all her heart to the ponies, and thus getting her cutie mark. From that point onward, she got herself a goal. One day, become a really popular singer, perhaps even the greatest of all Equestria! She knew she could do it, and she soon started to gather all the money she might need to do so, going around the city she lived in working in different shops to fulfill her goal.

 

History:

Coloratura was born to your average city family. She had not brothers or sisters, she lived alone with her parents, but she really loved her life. She attended to school like anypony else, had her friends and went out with them when she wanted. She really loved where she lived and helping other ponies as well.

 

Her parents noticed Coloratura had a really great skill when it came to sing, having a really beautiful and clear voice, even for a small filly, and they were not surprised when and how she got her cutie mark, but that never made them less happy when she got it. It was at a school festival little Coloratura sang in. Of course, she not only got her cutie mark, but also showed how talented she was at singing and how much she loved it. Some ponies even suggested that she could go to Manehattan and see if she could actually become a real popular singer, to which she started to consider and gather money to go one day and even started to learn how to play instruments, mastering the piano and learning how to play others.

 

One day, she heard something about a small summer camp called Camp friendship. She really liked how it sounded and after seeing all what they had to offer, she asked her parents and they agreed to take her there to spend vacations, just before her family had planned to go to move to Manehattan so she could audition to become a recognized singer like she dreamed since she got her cutie mark.

 

Not so long after she arrived, she met a certain orange pony with a yellow mane, applejack. Both already had her cutie marks by that point, and not so long after they met, she soon befriended AJ, who at the same time gave her the nick name, Rara. The two of them spent a really good time at the camp, becoming even closer and even both composing a song they sang at the camp, called: Equestria, the land I love. But, fun and smiled came to an end when the camp finished and both had to part ways.

 

Their friendship was strong, and even after she moved to Manehattan, they both sent letters to each other, but they soon were less frequent until both lost contact with each other for a really long time, neither of them knowing what happened to each other all that time.

In the meantime, after Rara arrived to Manehattan, she started looking for a good place to start. She went from side to side of the city, looking for somewhere or somepony that would help her reach her goals. Time went by, days, weeks, and when she was close to give up, a stallion called Sevengalop, found her and after hearing how skilled she was, he immediately hired her and became her manager, just so he could fulfill his ambitions, and who gave him the better chance but a filly that he could mold as he wished?

Sevengalop managed to launch her to fame in no time. He was at first only know in certain areas of the city, but after a few days, she had a name on the city, then the region and after some time, she was known in all Equestria with the name Countess Coloratura and fulfilling her dream

Seven built an image of her being a diva and being quite demanding, and also getting a signature gesture when she greeted her fans, using a hoof shaped autograph stamps and saying “Hoofsies~!” when she used it on her fans.

Even though all this, there was one things she loved, going to schools and sing with the fillies in there. That was her favorite part of all the tours she did.

 

After some time, and becoming the most popular popstar of all Equestria, her manager made a tour around Equestria, and one day she went to Ponyville as part of it, where she met her old friend, Applejack. She was surprised that AJ never knew she became a pop star, but it made sense for her. She knew Applejack. She was never the type of pony that was into pop music and both lost contact with each other so long ago, but she was really happy to meet her old friend, but it was not all smiles and giggles. When Applejack told her that she heard that her manager was being mean to other ponies and intimidates them to get what he wants, she took that as an offence and made her a bit angry, and just ended the conversation so it couldn’t got worse, but of course, at the end Applejack was right.

 

When Applejack executed her plan and showed Rara how her manager was, and soon he abandoned her when they confronted him. At first, Rara was not sure she could make all of what he did right, since Sevengalop was in charge of almost everything, but Applejack managed to calm her down and at the end, Rara decided to change what she would do in stage. Instead of going to her dive style songs, she went for a more different approach. She decided to sing a new song she had, “The magic inside”. When she sang her song in front of the (confused) audience, her cutie mark started shining and soon filled her hearts with joy, something she hadn’t done in a really long time. She was singing with her heart. She hadn’t done that for so long, and she loved it. That song soon became one of the most popular songs she had. After that song, Rara sang with the cutie mark crusaders the same song she and applejack sang when they were at camp friendship, as a token of gratitude for helping her when she needed her.

 

After all the events in ponyville, she carried on her tour with the help of the ponies that were still loyal to her, since she didn’t wanted to let down her fans around Equestria, and also started looking for a new manager that not only did an excellent job as Sevengalop, but also was more kind than him.

 

Character Summary:

Rara is the most popular singer in all of equestria. She met Applejack when she was a filly at camp friendship and both soon became friends, but their friendship started to fade after they both parted ways. Rara went to Manehattan to become a star and after meeting Sevengalop, she was launched into fame as Countess Coloratura, a diva that was quite demanding and egocentric. She made various tours around equestria with her dancers, the ‘hot ponies’ that made spells n Rara when she sand in her concerts to module her voice and make her able to sound like in her songs when she was in stage.

Rara changed after seeing her old friends once more when she went to Ponyville. When Applejack saw what Sevengalop did to the ponies just to get what he wanted, she went to warn rara, but she took it as an offence, but when Aj gave her evidence the second time she tried to talk to her, rara realized that she was right and was soon abandoned by him when they confronted him, but found out she could carry on without him and all that made rara change to become a better pony.

 

Personality:

As a filly, Rara used to be a bit shy when it came to her musical talents, but was a happy filly just like the rest. She loved going out and play and make new friends, Applejack being one of the best she have had in her life.

When she left to become a star, the filly changed. She became more egocentric and demanding, like a real diva, and was quite dependable from others, mostly of his manager, Sevengalop, who used her to get all what he wanted. Even though that, there was still good inside her. She loves going with fillies to sing with them in her concerts, as well as being quite cheerful and showing a lot of interest to her fans.

After the events that happened when she went to ponyville, Rara changed. She became less demanding and embraced her old self. Instead of going out to sing all those songs that took her to fame, she started singing songs that filled her heart with joy, as well as everypony else. It was what she loved to do, sing for others.
