Source Thanks for the idea of the throne room.

See OOC for rules and joining.

The warm life-giving sun of the day gave way to the soft light of the moon over the skies of Canterlot as Princess Luna walked down the hallway leading towards the massive throne room. The throne room had already undergone a magical transformation thanks to the Princess of Night to fit her style. The bright white walls, floors and ceilings dulled to the cool shades of blues and purples. The former red carpet changed to an electric blue color leading to the throne. She wanted it to be a friendly inviting place and most importantly one where ponies knew who they were to meet.

It had been a while since Luna had participated in her own personal court time, largely because she wanted to understand more about the updates that took place during her thousand year absence. There was much to learn about the history and culture, and Luna didn't want to overlook something important! But now she waited anxiously at the doors of the throne room, hoping that things would turn out as well as she expected it. She already sent out among the town notices announcing her first Night Court, although there was no telling how many would attend. It was understandable that being at night most ponies were in their homes. However, what mattered was Luna being there to help ponies that needed it, no matter what time it was.

She greeted the Lunar Guard by the door who would be her protector/ announcer of ponies who have come to see her.

"Are you ready?" She said to the guard.

"Alright... keep calm... take a deep breath..." Darkness said to himself as he tried to calm down. The pegasus was wearing a heavy plate armor version of the night guard standard armor, as well as having with him his sword and shield. Today was going to be a rather special day, as he was assigned to a new task. He was going to assist the princess in a court she had decided to host in order to have a better communication with the ponies of Equestria, or so he thought. Still, it would be a really amazing day. He was the only night guard present in the throne room, and he loved the changes the princess had made in order to fit her night style. It all just went along perfectly for her. He would also be working alone with his beloved Princess... sort of. Still, this was quite amazing for him!

"Yes Princess, I am ready." he said politely to the princess after he heard she was addressing him. Even though he had some... feelings towards her, he was capable of keeping calm and profesional. "My name is Darkness Knight, princess. I will be assisting you today in all you need, as well as escorting the ponies here, and protecting you from any harm." he said to her in a calm tone, standing up tall. "And, if you need, I can also assist you in assessing the problem, of course, only if you want me to express my opinion." he added, still calm. At the end, it would be the princess' choice the one that counts, but perhaps it would help her the opinion of somepony else.

"I will bring the first pony, your majesty." He then said after a moment, before walking out of the throne room, heading to a door to the left, that was assigned as the waiting room, where the ponies that wanted to see the princess would be.

"Goon night, mares and gentlecolts. The princess will now start the court. Before you head in, I will explain how this will work..." he said, before clearing his throat.

"One pony will go and see her at a time, unless the problem you want to address is with another pony. Also, please limit the amount of request to the princess, as she want to see all the ponies she can." He explained calmly, before taking a piece of paper.

"The first pony in the list is... Smoky Gears" Darkness then said as he read the paper, then started to look for him. Once he found him, he gave her a small nod with the head. "If you could please follow me, I will escort you to the princess." he said to Smoky "Everypony else, wait here until I call you." he added to the group before escorting him to the throne room.

"Princess..." he said, once he entered the throne room, with a small bow to her. "This is the first pony. Smoky Gears" He said politely to her, before letting him walk in to greet the Princess.

Princess Luna could tell that the guard had never escorted royalty as he shuffled his hooves before the door leading towards the throne room. It was certainly quite an honor guarding a Princess during her activities, which only added to the responsibility weighed upon his shoulders. There was something else about this guard, something that she couldn't quite put a hoof on, but it had to do with why he was nervous upon seeing her.

"My name is Darkness Knight, princess. I will be assisting you today in all you need, as well as escorting the ponies here, and protecting you from any harm." he said to her in a calm tone, standing up tall. "And, if you need, I can also assist you in assessing the problem, of course, only if you want me to express my opinion."

"Thank you Darkness Knight. I must say that your name is fitting with your profession," she said with a smile to make him feel calm and confident before bending down and whispering, "I can see you are nervous being your first time guarding me. Do you want to know a secret? Even after the thousands of times I have addressed ponies either by myself or with my sister I still get nervous that I say or do the right thing. If you are feeling nervous, just take a deep breath and imagine yourself in a place which brings you joy."

With that piece of advice Princess Luna returned to her regal stance and opening the doors followed Darkness to the throne. She was normally used to the fanfare of music and the pomp and circumstance that her sister had at her occasions, but this quiet cozy setting felt like a nice diversion. She took a look at the enchantment to the throne room as the guard announced that he would be introducing the first pony.

"Very well, I will be waiting for the first pony," she said as she sat down on the throne. As she listened to the guard's voice through the doors leading to the lobby, Luna mused how a thousand years ago she desired this throne more than anything, even sadly her sister. It was a strange irony her being here and willingly sitting upon the throne with no resistance. It was certainly better this way. The opening of the main doors snapped her back to reality as she waited for the arrival of the first pony.

"Princess..." he said, once he entered the throne room, with a small bow to her. "This is the first pony. Smoky Gears"

"Greetings Smoky Gears," Luna said as she nodded towards the unicorn, "I trust that your day was well as is your night."

Kneeling before Princess Luna once he entered,  Smoky Gears heard the words she spoke. His day had been fine as he'd done more work on the Saddle Blaster. One day he hoped to have the device completely finished,  as he needed it honestly.  "Greetings Princess Luna. I am happy to meet one of the royals.  I have an invention I'd like to show you, but we'll need to go outside.  It is one of my only inventions to date. But it is a very powerful invention. You might actually like it."

Smoky Gears paused so he could prepare to summon the Saddle Blaster because he wanted to demonstrate it's power to the Princess. The device was very useful when it came to actual demolition and removing obstacles that were in your way. It was also good at destroying boulders, among other obstacles that needed to be removed so that travelers could move safely.   Rising onto his full legs, Smoky Gear's horn began to glow with magic.

"So do I have your permission to summon, and demonstrate it?"

Smoky Gears was waiting for the response of Princess Luna and her guard, so he could see if he was allowed to summon and demonstrate the device he had created.  It originally hadn't been meant for combat, but over the years Smoky Gears had modified and repurposed the device to make it useful for himself.

Princess Luna had seen her share of ponies asking to show her something. Sometimes it was an artist who painted a picture or a singer performing a new melody. Other times it was a scientist with a new discovery or an inventor with a new product. The Night Princess always marveled at the endless imagination and creativity that ponies had and how so many desired to make a contribution to Equestria. So when Smoking Gears appeared explaining that he had a new invention that she might like, the Princess was prepared. What she wasn't prepared for though was that this new thing was to be seen outside. How big was this invention? Surely the throne room was spacious enough for large items to be brought in such as statues or very tall pastries.

"And it is very well to see you. I am certainly interested in seeing this invention of yours, especially being curious at its size. Very well, I shall go and see this thing that you have created."

She rose from her throne and turned to Darkness Knight saying, "Follow me, just in case."

She exited the throne room passing by those waiting for their turn saying, "Fear not everypony, I have a momentary business to attend to, but I will return to address all of you soon."

At last the trio made it out to the courtyard that graced the front of the castle. What was missing though was this invention.

"So do I have your permission to summon, and demonstrate it?"

"You may show it to me," she said, keeping a watchful eye on what would take place.

Darkness kept an eye on the pony that had just walked in, making sure he didnt tried anything against the princess. It was his duty to protect her, as well as something personal for him to do it. He calmed down a bit after explaining what he wanted, but his ears perked up when he said he wanted to do the demostration of his invention. He wanted to object, but it was Luna's decicion, not his.

Darkness looked at the Princess after she stood up and started walking towards the door. "Yes Princess, I will be right beside you." He said with a small bow to her before followoing her out of the room, staying close to her, but at a razonable distance from her. He looked to the waiting room and made the ponies a light nod, before asking a guard to look after the ponies while they went to see what Smoky had prepared for the Princess.

Outside, he stood beside the Princess, ready for anything.

Once they had relocated outside,  Smoky Gears let his horn light up with magical energy summoning a boulder, a wall made out of steel and other objects that were very durable.  "Princess Luna, before I demonstrate the Gadget I would like you to blast these or otherwise confirm that these objects are durable, so as to prove that what I am about to do to them is NOT in fact a hoax."   Smoky's eyes flashed as the Saddle Blaster materialized,  on his back.  The Saddle Blaster had it's crystal power cell and was completely ready for him to use as it was now.  Taking a deep breath, he waited for the Princess of the Night to ensure that his objects were in fact not fake.  Partially this was so that he could show her the effect without any disbelief on the behalf of any pony.

"Now. Do you know what the device on my back is? It's my invention. I haven't yet come up with a name for it, although Saddleblaster has a nice ring to it. In any case, when you are ready for the demo let me know. I had us go outside so as not to damage the beauty of your castle, at all."

Princess Luna could tell that Darkness was on edge as they made their way outside. It was no wonder as he was assigned to protect her and while inside the castle Luna had full control, being outside provided a number of variables and risks. Still she was no foal in magic kindergarten and could hold her own in a battle. In this case Luna decided to trust the inventor until proven otherwise. What surprised her was the talent Smoking Gears had to summon several heavy objects, including a boulder that was almost the size of the Princess and a wall made of metal.

"Princess Luna, before I demonstrate the Gadget I would like you to blast these or otherwise confirm that these objects are durable, so as to prove that what I am about to do to them is NOT in fact a hoax."

She didn't feel that blasting the objects created would prove anything, but she did examine each object for the inventor.

"The objects you procured are quite durable and can withstand great physical or magical force."

What happened next was a surprise. A machine materialized on his back that looked like a portable cannon! It certainly was a remarkable creation, though it did provide some pause.

"Now. Do you know what the device on my back is? It's my invention. I haven't yet come up with a name for it, although Saddleblaster has a nice ring to it. In any case, when you are ready for the demo let me know. I had us go outside so as not to damage the beauty of your castle, at all."

"Well I certainly thank you for keeping the castle intact," she said, "Very well, continue with the demonstration."

Deep down the Princess had a feeling what would happen next considering the objects the unicorn summoned and the fact that he asked her to test the durability before. Luna looked over at the guard so as to have him keep an eye out in case the demonstration went awry.

Darkness frowned when the pony summoned all those things, and knew Luna was also surprised. Not that many ponies wete able to do so, then again, he was no unicorn to know how their magic worked exactly.

What worried him the most was the machine he summoned. It looked like some sort of magical weapon of some sort.

Darkness stayed near Luna while she examined the objects in case he fired the cannon, by accident or not.

He thought for a moment and got an idea of what the machine would do as well.

He looked back at the princess and noded back to her, in understandment that he had to be ready for the worse.

Smoky Gears nodded,  before activating the Saddle Blaster. A brilliant beam of golden energy shot out of the Saddleblaster completely destroying the boulder, the Steel Wall and the other heavy objects.   Once the blast had been shot at the objects, and had annihilated every last one of them,  Smoky smiled.  "So Princess Luna, do you believe this would be a useful innovation for the Royal Guard? Or do you believe it's an invention that would be best forgotten? It took me a few attempts to fix up so it's suitable for demolition.  It's also good for clearing travel paths."

With that,  Smoky Gears waited for her decision.

Princess Luna was fascinated by new inventions ponies made, but she certainly wasn't prepared for this! Hearing the name Saddle Blaster gave a clue to its purpose, but when she watched as the device destroyed the structures with enough power that an Alicorn might possess she felt both impressed and a little nervous. Try as she might to erase the memories of her time as Nightmare Moon, she couldn't help but return to that time when she rained destruction upon the castle that she once shared with her sister, threatening Celestia's life and many others.

"So Princess Luna, do you believe this would be a useful innovation for the Royal Guard? Or do you believe it's an invention that would be best forgotten? It took me a few attempts to fix up so it's suitable for demolition.  It's also good for clearing travel paths."

Smoky's words shook her out of her memories as she struggled to remember all of the questions he asked. Even when she was about to speak there was a look of concern on her face.

"Your invention certainly has great power as demonstrated. My concern is in this fact that it is such a powerful invention and that it seems to be easily used by a pony. You mentioned clearing paths and demolishing buildings for the intent of progress, but what purpose would a Royal Guard use it?"

She turned to the guard who witnessed the destructive power and asked, "If you were given such an invention, Darkness, would you feel comfortable using it, and to what extent would you use it?"

((Sorrry if it took me a while))

As soon as the weapon fired against the objets, Darkness' guard insincts kicked in an dhe inmediately gave a step forward, putting a hoof infron of Pricness Luna in a protective way, like trying to gently push her back to protect her, but it was mere instict to protect her what made him do so.

"Oh, uhm... sorry..." he said a bit embarreased as he gave a step back after the demostration and let the princess speak to the pony.

Once she was done, he looked at her when she spoke to him, and started thinking on what she asked. What uses could he, as a guard, give the machine?

"Well, it depends. I think it might be useful in different scenarios, but... personally I wouldn't use it unless it was really necessary." he said. "It might be a bit too much for various jobs." he adde.

"We can use it for demolition jobs mostly, as he said." He then said after a moment of thinking some more. "But I don't find that many uses for the guards. Still, having one just in case wouldn't hurt." he finally added

"Well Princess,  I already accounted for the ability of other ponies to use it.  Should it be stolen, or otherwise taken from me without my consent,  enchantments on it would cause the machine to become inert and unable to be used.  Furthermore charging the crystal that acts as the power cell for the energy blasts takes days, sometimes weeks.  "   When the guard said he wanted a copy Smoky's eyes lit up for a moment, before he approached the Guard. Examining him for a moment,  Smoky Gears nodded.  "You say you want a copy of my invention.  How many bits would you pay for it,  now that you've been one of the few ponies to ever witness it?"

Once he asked, he turned his attention once more to Princess Luna.

"So Princess Luna,   does the crown have an interest in my device?"

As she waited for the guard to answer, Luna suddenly felt something blocking her path. She looked down to see that Darkness had instinctively put out his foreleg in front of her to shield her from any danger. It was awkward for him but still she couldn't be mad as this was his duty.

"Oh, uhm... sorry..."

"No need to apologize."

"Well, it depends. I think it might be useful in different scenarios, but... personally I wouldn't use it unless it was really necessary." he said. "It might be a bit too much for various jobs. We can use it for demolition jobs mostly, as he said. But I don't find that many uses for the guards. Still, having one just in case wouldn't hurt." he finally added

Luna nodded as the guard concluded his opinion. Though Luna knew that being a new recruit he could not acquisition such device without permission from his superior. Lucky for him, Luna was his superior. But her doubt was the possibility that this device would fall into the wrong hooves. Granted there were many things that could be used for good or ill such as fire or magic.

You say you want a copy of my invention.  How many bits would you pay for it,  now that you've been one of the few ponies to ever witness it? So Princess Luna,   does the crown have an interest in my device?"

"I see that you have thought about the safety of others with such a powerful device, a very admirable quality. I can see such an invention be used for construction, although maybe not for combating enemies. Still I do believe that it will be of use to my sister and I, so I shall be interested in your invention. Darkness, if you feel that the Lunar Guard would require one of these Saddle Blasters, then I can have one made for that division."

Darkness turned to the princess and nodded. "Yes Princess. I believe that having one can be useful in case of an emergency, Princess, and with the anti-theft precautions we can make sure it will stay safe until the day we might need it." He finally said politely to her before turning to the pony.

"I...can't tell, sorry. I am no economist to know how much I would pay for it, or how much I would pay." he said with a small disappointed tone to the pony. "But I am sure you can find somepony that can help you with that." he then added with a small grin to the pony before standing up straight again and waiting for further orders by the princess. He felt less... stressed now. He looked a bit more relaxed being by her side, and not nervous like when all this started, perhaps he needed this? He didn't knew.

"Princess,  I ask that you use your power in magic which is much stronger than mine to reinforce the enchantments on the Saddle Blaster and also make it to where anyone besides myself, or those I authorize to use it cannot even use it. "   Smoky Gears was attempting to protect ponies against the invention he had created. Originally it hadn't even been made as the Saddle Blaster but meant as a harmless light based science experiment. Since then, Smoky had tinkered with the original design multiple times until he finally made the designs where they were now, actually.

"If such a thing would not be too much trouble for you that is, Princess. If it is, I'll continue adding security spells of my own design to prevent unauthorized usage of the Saddle Blaster.  You know,  ironically this was originally made as a harmless light show gadget by someone else. It misfired, and shot an actual laser which is what led into it's evolution into the Saddle Blaster you see right now."

((Good thing I saved the posts.... I'm going to add them to the post, and at the very end my reply.))

"Yes Princess. I believe that having one can be useful in case of an emergency, Princess, and with the anti-theft precautions we can make sure it will stay safe until the day we might need it."

"Then it is settled," Luna said, "I will purchase two of your Saddle Blasters."

"Princess,  I ask that you use your power in magic which is much stronger than mine to reinforce the enchantments on the Saddle Blaster and also make it to where anyone besides myself, or those I authorize to use it cannot even use it.  If such a thing would not be too much trouble for you that is, Princess.

"Sometimes the best creations involve us thinking about something and then expanding upon it. If you wish to add any security features to the invention, that is fine, although I trust you that it is safe enough right now."

Darkness simply smiled to the princess as she spoke, giving her a small nod to her, then walked over to her side again, ready to accompany back to the throne room again, and was okay with buying the new machine the pony had brought.

"When ever you are ready to back to the throne room, Princess."  He said, standing up tall again beside her. He didn't wanted to hurry up the Princess, but the demonstration was already over, and the less time they spent outside, the better.

Nodding his head,  Smoky Gears said to her. "It will be a couple of weeks before I can have the blasters finished, and hunting down the gem stones needed to properly store and also focus large quantities of magical energy will take a bit of time. However,  when the Saddle  Blasters are finished I shall return with them. "  With that Smoky's horn glowed with magical energy and he teleported himself back to his way station/house that he had in Canterlot so he could begin immediate preparations to get the supplies he needed so that he might actually build the Saddle Blasters properly. Building them after all was not going to be an easy task,  but it was one that now had the blessing of royalty. What price could he demand?

- Exit thread-

Looking over at the guard pony, Luna could see his desire to return to the castle. Sure he was a guard, sworn to protect her but it almost looked like he was nervous being out at night!

"When ever you are ready to back to the throne room, Princess."

"It will be a couple of weeks before I can have the blasters finished, and hunting down the gem stones needed to properly store and also focus large quantities of magical energy will take a bit of time. However,  when the Saddle  Blasters are finished I shall return with them. "

"Thank you for coming to see me," Luna said to the inventor, "I shall look forward to seeing you again."

As the inventor teleported away, Luna turned to the guard saying, "I think that went well, don't you? Yes, let's return to the castle. I'm sure there are others waiting for me."

((My Reply))

“Of course Princess.” He said with a small smile and a light bow to her before he turned around and followed her back into the throne room. “And yes, I believe it went rather well.” He said to the princess as he followed her back.

“I will go and call the next pony on the list.” He said after a moment when they arrived to the doors that lead to the throne room. He opened the doors for her and made a light bow before going to the waiting room.

He looked at the ponies and cleared his throat. “Thank you for your patience. Now, the next pony in the list is…” he started saying after as he grabbed the paper with the names. “… Starlight Glimmer…” he said. He heard some rumors about her, so he would keep an eye on her.

“IF you can please follow me…” he said politely to her before leading her to the doors to the throne room. He waited for the princess to be ready, and soon afterwards lead her in.

Princess…” he said to Luna before he let Starlight walk in as well

"When you're in a leadership position," Luna said as they returned to the castle, "You have to weigh all the pros and cons before making your final decision. Because unlike you making your own personal decision, what you say or do affects others. Something to remember this as you rise through the ranks."

They reached the throne room as Luna found herself once again seated, waiting for the next pony. She remembered seeing a pink unicorn in the waiting room, and for some reason that mare was familiar. The Princess couldn't tell why. Even stranger was the fact that once the mare entered in with Darkness the guard did not announce her name but rather walked towards her.

Princess…”

"Hmm? Is there something wrong?"

Starlight Glimmer.  The Master of Magic, Mage of Destiny, Transformer of Cutie Marks-was bound in shackles.  The rough, metal bit into her fur, and she struggled to activate her spells with the magic inhibitor on her horn.  The rusting smell of metal and blood was enough to make her sick, but the worse was yet to come.  Her mane was ruffled and dirty, and coat graying under the strain of the heavily shrouded darkness.  But that wasn't what struck fear inside her most-it was the Princess.  Or rather-Nightmare Moon.

The white, gleaming fangs of the Empress of the Night reaffirmed her scowling, piercing eyes.  She wanted to shy from the glance, and to twist away and cast a million spells-but it was of no use to play afraid.  She was Starlight Glimmer.  She was a Star.  And she was not afraid.  The turned in a defiant gesture to give eye contact to the Nightmare Creature, leveling her head to show she was not to be taken lightly like another prisoner.  She felt powerful, to look in the eye of such a monster and stand strong.  At least...until the Guard appeared.

She gave a little shriek as she was jolted from her horrifying daydream.  I'm okay...I have friends...I'm just here to ask the Princess for friendship advice.  She's not going to eat me, kill me, or torture me.  It's okay, Starlight.

With that, she marched into the room, in the same defiant pose that she had pushed onto Nightmare Moon-with the same rebellion eyes and maverick spirit.  And not a single word, as she approached the Princess.  Just a simple, defiant spirit to prove that she had been through the challenges of life as well.

"The next pony... I don't trust her..." Darkness said to Princess Luna softly. "I will keep a close eye on her while she is here." He added before he walked back to the door.
"Ehm..." He cleared his throat and took out the paper that had the names of the ponies and the order they would see the princess.

"The next pony that wants to consult you is ... Starlight Glimmer." He announced as he opened the door for her to walk in correctly, and kept a really close eye on her as she walked towards the princess. Given her past and rumors between the guards, as well as the official reports of what happened, he didn't trusted her at all, but if the princess of friendship said she was safe, he had to trat her as a normal citizen of Equestria, like it or not. He just hoped for the best.

Princess Luna leaned in closer to the guard, alternating her gaze between him and the mare who stood before her. It was such a drastic breach of etiquette not announcing the pony in question, but Luna trusted in his intuition.

"The next pony... I don't trust her...  I will keep a close eye on her while she is here."

"The next pony that wants to consult you is ... Starlight Glimmer."

Darkness Night didn't appear to be a paranoid pony, although having a healthy skepticism as a guard was fine. But it shocked her when Darkness noted that he didn't trust the mare! Form the unicorn's appearance, with her sad nervous interior masked by a look of defiance and confidence. Luna had seen enough ponies to know when somepony was hiding something, and many times it was something that the pony did not wish to have revealed. But that name was what made her raise an eyebrow. Starlight Glimmer. Wasn't she the unicorn that Twilight Sparkle not once but twice meet, first with trying to make ponies equal by removing their cutie marks and second to alter time itself? Well, maybe the guard wasn't off after all. Still Luna was willing to meet this pony herself.

"Welcome Starlight Glimmer," Luna said wearing a serious expression as the mare approached, "I must admit that I have heard of you and your... incidents by another Princess. Is it true that you tried creating a town so to brainwash ponies and to remove their cutie marks with magic in the attempt at achieving artificial equality?"

The Princess was beautiful.  Obviously, that wasn't the first thought that she had expected to have.  Instead, she found herself looking most intriguingly at her mane...it billowed in an ethereal wind, unlike Twilight's.  She gave the Princess a quick bow, realizing she was in the face of royalty.  Royalty that was part of the family which allowed her to become a personal student, rather than be banished into exile for her deadly deeds.

"Princess-it really is an honor,"

The Princess launched into an investigation questionnaire, curiosity overfilling her eyes.  She seemed more entranced by Starlight's old evils than the reformation she presented.  She almost lowered her head to dismiss her past sins, but she kept up her defiant post: she was the mare the Princess spoke of, after all.  She didn't know how to answer the Princess, in all honesty.  Was she to explain how her magic worked?  How she, by changing a pony's cutie mark, was able to alter destiny itself?  How about her ability to withstand time travel and mix & matching Starswirl's spell?  In the end, she went with a simple,

"Yes, it's true,"

Darkness simply looked at Starlight as she replied to the Princess. He didn't wanted her to do anything bad to the princess, so he kept an eye on her, looking to her and back to the princess every now and then. If she panned something, he would react almost instantly, and he felt confident he could stop her, but he didn't knew her intetions. Perhaps she reallt just wanted to meet the princess or have a question for her. Maybe not. Still, she had the benefit of doubt.

He closed the door once Luna and Stirlight started talking and gestured a guard to look after the other ponies while it was Stirlight's turn.

He herd the question Luna asked her, and was rather shocked not by what she replied, but how she did it. He felt there was more, but he wouldn't understand exactly all that, so he didn't said anything and just kept guarding Luna.

It took courage for Starlight to come to her throne room and to confess her crime. Most would simply hide the truth and go on with life hoping they wouldn't get caught, which almost all times they did. But Starlight was here and from her expression she was telling the truth on this issue. She also looked prepared to bear her soul and although nervous about her fate was willing to accept it. But there was more to be addressed.

As she prepared to ask something else, Luna noticed that Darkness was staring intently at Starlight, waiting for the slightest hint at her attempting something on her. She wanted to tell him to relax, that she would be foolish to try something and that it didn't look like this meeting was for such a dark purpose, but she knew that guards were there to protect and so she let him carry on.

"Hmm... You are certainly forthright with what you have done. And is it also true that you tried to undo years of progress, especially with preventing Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends from getting their cutie marks thus altering the future into differing realities of Equestria using a spell created by none other than Starswirl the Bearded?"

Spoiler

I would assume that Twilight would tell Celestia and Luna about such events being that this was such a monumental moment.
