Unique Traits: Cyclone is a mare of action. She is tough and nimble, a whirlwhind of steel with a blade, and a force to be reckoned with in hoof-to-hoof brawling. Training is a ritual; cardio, strength, running, flying and sparring, and she plays a bit of sports when she has the time. She is experienced with protecting the populace, keeping the peace and upholding the Equestrian law, and has a working knowledge of weather magic, first aid, martial tactics and strong leadership.

History: It was always Cyclone's dream to 'protect and serve’. Although she would never say she's getting on in years, she has clung to that dream for a decent while now. Her bloodline is proudly connected with the REG, her father and several generations before him included, but it is not quite expected tradition as there are the fair share of weatherponies, businessponies and anything else in the family.
Born in Cloudsdale to a pegasi couple, Cyclone's father was a guard like her, and her mother was a weatherpony. She was a very competitive filly in school but grew out of it in adolescence. She acquired her cutie mark when she took a stand against a case of bullying that weighed down on a poor gloomy colt, who then became her friend. She realised how important it was to support and defend the ponies around her, be they friends or strangers, and she felt she was gifted to do this. Since then, she knew exactly what she wanted to do and enlisted as soon as she was old enough.
When they had grown, she and the colt began dating. His name was Tempest Fletch. He was a gentleman and a joker, and the relationship became serious and committed. As adults they decided to be engaged. They had the twins after their marriage; Storm Scout and Spark Spinner, pegasus and unicorn. For a good while everything went swimmingly.
It didn't last. Eventually, a careless slip unravelled an ongoing string of unsolvable high profile thefts - the perpetrator was none other than Tempest. At this revelation, Cyclone couldn't reconcile her duty as a guardian with his harmful behaviour. Perhaps he felt the world had wronged him, perhaps he was just greedy; she never cared to hear his reasoning. To her, it was as if a mask had crumbled, and behind it stood an unfamiliar scoundrel. Unable to persuade her, he fled when she declared him her nemesis. Cyclone was bitter for a time at the betrayal she was dealt, but determination pulled her through in one piece, and with her children she was not alone.
She maintains a close relationship with and keeps tabs on her son and daughter, who have grown up and moved out to lead their own lives. She is now in a good place in life, able to fulfil her dream and confident in her independence. She hopes to see her children succeed, to continue to succeed in her own career, and to keep the citizens of Equestria safe and happy.

Character Personality: Cyclone is a natural leader, morally guided by honour and duty. Though she is a Royal Guard, a favourite hobby of hers is to while away the spare time down at the local pub, even getting into fights so long as it's all in good fun. She is very honest, perhaps blunt, and will plainly say what she thinks and how she feels. She's a sporty, headstrong, short-tempered tomcolt with a lot of moxie, but she takes her job very seriously and can be formal when the occasion demands it. She makes a very loyal friend and would fiercely protect her mates should they ever need it.

Character Summary: Bold and tough pegasus guard. Fierce, staunch, with a strong sense of honour.
