Roleplay Type: WoE
Name: Luxor Radiance
Sex: Female
Age: Mare
Species: Unicorn
Eye colour: Gradient from yellow to orange
Coat: Cream white/oyster white with a golden yellow sheen
Mane/Tail: Both her mane and tail are very long.  Following her name, their colouring is a golden yellow.   Oh, and it shimmers.  Her mane falls from her head in beach waves, but the a few inches up from the ends-her mane starts to curl into ringlets.  Her tail starts off silky straight for a few inches, before falling into tight ringlets.  Her tail is very long if straightened-but since it's mostly in ringlets, it stays a few centimeters off from the ground.  
Physique: Tall, thin, like a supermodel.  She prances around like a celebrity (she is), but has no physical strength whatsoever.  She lacks any athletic ability, and has little muscle save for those naturally developed.
Residence: Ebony Manor-though she's rarely at home and often on tour.
Occupation: Model/Singer/Fashion Designer (She's mainly a singer, but sometimes opens for fashion companies.  In order to expand her horizons, she also started designer clothes.)
Cutie Mark:  A series of coloured ribbon curling in from the top left down.  Each coloured ribbon is a dinstinctly different shade of yellow, and curls in a distinctly unique way from the others.  A four-tipped white star (a whiter shade than her coat) overlaps on top of the ribbons a step down from the top left.  Two smaller four-tipped white stars hang between the: top and right tip; right and bottom tip of the large star.  Her cutie mark represents her love of being under the spotlight, and doing what she loves: to be appreciated wholeheartedly for her passions.

It was the night of her first fashion show.  More correctly, her mother's fashion show.  Fashion shows were the few times she could spend time with her mother, even if she had to share her with other fans and photographers.  Her mother was rarely around these days, always hanging around stallions (she wasn't old enough then to understand what that meant) and going to parties.  She was too busy being an Elite to spend some time with her little filly.  But fashion shows...her mother would never forget to send her a ticket to go.  Her mother supported her dream in being a model, but saw little in young Luxor save for that.  But when Luxor came up with a dress idea and actually made it-her mother was awestruck.  She brought the dress to her manager, who thought it would be a good idea to have Luxor model it beside her mother.  

The lights were blaring, and the music charming.  All eyes were on her and her mother.  All cameras pointed their way.  The announcer called something indistinguishable, and all she could feel was the beautiful spotlight that shone above her.  It was like...true love.  She forgot that her mother was beside her.  She forgot about everything around her.  It was just her and the spotlight.  And she loved it.  She walked to the end of the runway-and as she posed, she felt a tingling in her flank.  Her cutie mark.  


Unique Traits: Her coat shimmers in a gold-yellow sheen-and nopony really knows why.  It's definitely not genetic, and she's no Crystal Pony.  But it sure does make her look even nicer under the spotlight.  Despite being a Unicorn, she never went to any magical academic training.  Because of that, her magic can be quite unpredictable, and her range in spells is rather small.  The only spells she knows are those useful in her industry and everyday life.  

  

History: 

Born to an Elite single mare, Luxor's childhood was filled with more strife than one would expect.  She grew up in boarding schools and seeing her mother was more of a dream than a reality.  For birthdays and special occasions, her mother would send the occasional ticket to a fashion show.  School achievements were honored with money prizes and gift cards.  Family dinners were a 'never', and she often had to 'share' her mother with some 'stallion'.  Nevertheless, she grew to be a very smart filly, with her magic tailing behind.  She knew the answer to every math problem, and her optimistic attitude made her a favourite among classmates.  

As she approached the age to register like any Elite Unicorn at Celestia's School, her life took a turn.  Instead of pursuing the mage arts, she found joy in designing clothes and standing in the spotlight.  Her dresses were quickly picked up by her mother's contacts, and modeling agencies loved the gorgeous, shimmering filly.  She became 'the young sensation', sometimes surpassing even her own mother! 

But like any fashion icon, she began to fade as her teenage years kicked in.  She was no longer a 'cute little filly', and she was beginning to see the real reason of the 'stallions' and her mother.  She took up singing as a hobby, and her mother helped her kickstart that into a career when she realized how much she really enjoyed it.  Thus began her life as a superstar-singing her way through fame and Equestria.  Modeling was still a small pastime-and she was occasionally called to open shows.  She began designing clothes again, pleased that she could throw all three of her passions into the same package.  

She fell in love with a Brigadier General, and they had a sweet filly together.  Alas-her daughter saw the same fate as herself: to be raised without either parent by her side, and to grow up following her own passions with help from her mother.

Now, Luxor is still standing tall on her Empire of songs.  She travels all of Equestria, making sure she lives every moment to her passions-and helping everypony along with theirs.

Character Personality: Luxor is kind, sweet, and the perfect pony for the spotlight.  She puts passion before fame, and friends before money.  She loves her job, and continues believing that "she hasn't worked a day"!  She holds an encouraging personality, and is always positive.  Her optimism makes her a good role model, and her smiles can cheer even the gloomiest of ponies.  Alas, nopony can be perfect.  Luxor can come across as inconsiderate-or even selfish to some.  She adores her passion, and ambition to be the best in what she does can make her contradict her usual personality.  She tends to get pushy, willing to do whatever it takes in a competition to win.  Life's a competition to her, but she prefers to be defined by the small moments where the winner doesn't matter.  She loves her family, but it doesn't rank anywhere near her priority line.  However, she ceaselessly supports her daughter's endeavor as a DJ, and has been in that position since the passion was nurtured.  She wants everypony to be appreciated and loved as much as she is for following their passions-and her heart definitely soars with joy when she hears a young filly go, "I wanna be just like you when I grow up!".  She tries her best at everything, even if she fails. Once.  Or twice.  Or a gazillion times.  It can make her very stubborn and turn her into an unpleasant pony.  Still, she tries her best to stay as wonderful as she is doing her job on the stage.  She isn't very...smart, one could say-either.  She has a habit of following whatever feels 'right', and can be called reckless and disrespectful by some.  She rarely thinks before she does anything-just checks to make sure: (a) it follows in what she wants out of life; (b) something tells her to 'go for it'.  She won't do anything she isn't comfortable with, and absolutely refuses to be taken advantage of.  She's a nice pony-well, she tries to be :).

 
Character Summary:  A spotlight-lover, Luxor will do anything to pursue her greatest desires and make her dreams come true-and she definitely supports anypony that does the same!
