Its stylized slightly different than from the show but I think it looks just fine for her.

If you push it any further it looks exactly like in the show.
I think it's in a good place right now, it's true to the spirit of Rarity's mane, but still true to your style.

Her mouth looks a bit... small.

So her mane is just a little bit extra poofy today. The break is just there for her ear, but there's nothing that says her ear couldn't be covered up either.
WOW, I saw this and skipped past, because I assumed it was just one of those amazing drawings, that would make me feel jealous.
