Also, I figured out what looked weird about it earlier. The eyes of pinkie pie here, they look too much like Fluttershy's eyes and less like Pinkies eyes. Pinkie's eyes have more of an ovular shape with shorter long lashes on the top brow and shorter lashes coming out of the bottom of the eye. Fluttershy's lashes taper into points ( like typical anime eyes ) on either side.

As much as I hesitate to plug another site here, I admit I made it for the current welovefine contest.

As for the eyes, its intentional and surprisingly coincidental. I wanted a very specific kind of smile here, and I went over a lot of source material while I was sketching out the expression. I was aiming for the 5-6 second look of recognition that people get when they see a friend. The bottom lid closes up a bit, and the eyebrows pull up as well. Here, Pinkie's eyelashes taper down close to the bottom brow to indicate that her eye partially closed, even though it remains stylistically enlarged. (While Fluttershy's eyelashes are perpendicular to her eyeline which indicates its her normal expression.)

It was kind of a revealing moment about Fluttershy's character design actually.
