I actually laughed a bit at the puns. I feel kinda Sorry for Silver spoon for being chosen to play Nightmare moon but still it's an Awesome picture.

It looks like there is the right number of joints to me... I like to use this for a reference when drawing pony legs. I think that the shading drew attention to the 'knuckle' which is typically not visible in FiM except in a few scenes.

Yes perhaps, the shading or leg length draws attention to areas that normally are not seen, thus making it seem odd, HOWEVER i still think this is a wonderful piece of art

I think it's the length, the joints are right but the angle makes the ankle look a little high.
