I guess I didn't have a whole lot of time this month to work on the drawfriend again, so I tried to whip up something quick. This was supposed to be a quick speed paint but I ended up spending three and a half hours on it. Never did get the daytime plants to turn out right, but I think it does what it needs to do. The premise is that Celestia has a whole garden full of beautiful flowers in bloom, but she goes and takes care of one flower that she'll never see in bloom herself. But when night falls, her sister misses out on the garden full of vibrant flowers... except for one.

I love the idea of Celestia going to all that work for a single flower for her sister. It's beautiful.

Thanks Though I have to say that at least in the day panel, I really just made random green dots happen until it started to look right. I have no idea how to make a garden look fancy.
