What you see is literally what you get. This was drawn for an /art/ and /fic/ contest on ponychan.

The prompt I chose was "The book I read". Hopefully someone in /fic/ picks my piece to do a story off of!

This would actually make a great episode.

Why is she upset? I can't even begin to guess.

My guess: It was a diary with some old entries about first coming to Ponyville and how weird everypony was and probably something bad about Dash. Of course, first impressions can be misleading, so of course times have changed. But Dash, being Dash, did not pay attention to the date and thought the terrible entry was recent.

That, or Twi wrote about liking somepony else and Dash is heartbroken.
