I HAVE NO FREAKING IDEA!!

i tried to do the whole, visage emerging from luna kinda thing, but i think i failed... horribly.

this took me like four nights to work on... -counts- like... 20 hours?! holy jinkies!! D:> and yes, all those stars and sparkes are hand done. i didn't use a brush or texture or anything. i really love how luna came out though. very happy with that.

the colors? were SO FUN TO DO!! i already have another luna picture in my head. : ) so maybe i'll work on that!

Even though you hate doing fan art, I have to say that I'm enjoying it. Maybe that makes me kind of cruel, and if so, I won't argue the point.

There's only two things I can think of that would have made Nightmare Moon look more visage~y. The glowing bits around her wing tips might want to extend to every part of her wings that are occluding the moon, and maybe that should go for her legs too. And the shiny bits on her armor make it look like there's another light source coming from the viewer instead of coming from the moon.

But you know... its still good, I even saved it...
