"Isn't she a beauty?"

These two are pony versions of my old old characters from long before MLP FIM. Flax Feather (left) and Vesper Haze (right) Their human names are Kevin and Vincent. I decided to ponify them cause I want to RP with them here.

Vesper retreated into the garden to wake up peacefully but Flax found him and started boasting about the cherry blossom tree he's nurtured since he was a colt, much to Vesper's annoyance. He probably got petals in his coffee too. Not a good mourning for Vespie.

*UPDATE* Flax's name was changed to Flax Feather cause Flax Seed already exists in the mlp comics. :P

This is gorgeous, though I have to say I probably love the background the most. The softness and abstractness of the flower petals, strewn all over the place, really gives the picture a very beautiful feel, in my opinion. Plus, the expression on both of their faces - Flax Seeds proud grin, especially - rounds everything up amazingly.

Also, tattoos.

Thanks for the awesome comment! I'm glad you find the background to be the highlight of the picture. I actually struggled with it quite a bit since this is the first time I drew a cherry blossom tree. Plus I only recently started doing backgrounds. Vesper's tattoos on the other hand where really fun to draw. They're all alchemy symbols. He doesn't know any alchemy though, he just thinks it looks cool. It's kind of hard to see from there but his cutie mark is actually a ball of yarn with knitting needles. XP
