This version of Stormy nearly died because of midnight sparkle, after getting blasted by mistake between the scuffle between her and sunset he lost use of his right eye and in an attempt to protect himself mangled his right arm. After twilight had returned to normal had turned to help Stormy due to the guilt she felt for bring harm to him. She was able to come up with prosthetics that helped him see again and gain use of his right arm..
