General Rules (Site-Wide)

General Rules:
These rules may be modified or added to at any time. Whilst we'll do our best to inform everyone of changes, we recommend you check in regularly anyway to keep the rules fresh in mind to ensure we all have a great experience on Canterlot.com.

New users - You must create a new thread in the Introductions section of the forum to introduce yourself to us. After creating three legitimate posts in the introductions forum you will be granted access to the other areas of the board.

Language - Clean English must be spoken at all times. Other languages may not be used. If we can't read it, we can't moderate it. It is not staff duty to translate words or sentences into English.
Adult language such as curse/swear or suggestive words may only be used in the 18+ sections of the board.
Note: you must be 18 years old or over to view and post in 18+ sections.

Content - Posts should remain civil, responsible and free from vulgar, abusive words & statements and expressions of a derogatory manner. Controversial topics can and do arise, if you or other members become uncomfortable with the subject, we ask that civility be maintained and that a topic change should take place.
Posts must not contain information on piracy or any other illegal act.
If a topic or post is out of line, please contact a member of the staff who will do their best to take action.
Canterlot.com staff reserve the right to remove/modify any content on the server without prior warning.

Posts must be suitable for all audiences. No depictions of Sex, Gore or violence, either in posts, images, links (including links to episodes/content belonging to Hasbro or others) or roleplay. No drug references or other inappropriate or Illegal Content. Sex, Sexual Content, and Sexual Discussion also have no place here. Posting this content may result in the removal of the content and a ban from Canterlot.com and it's services.
Some non-illegal adult themes and language may be used in the 18+ sections of the board (you must be 18 years or older to view).
Note: If you find someone disregarding the rules please click the 'Report' link at the bottom of every post to let a moderator know.

Specific Forums - Some forums have additional rules or guidelines. These will generally be pinned at the top of the relevant section. They are to be considered part of the rules.
