It was only natural for a somepony to be curious about the gathering of a crowd. Scootaloo knew the Apples' farm to be relatively quiet for the most part except when large family gatherings as well as cider season were underway - so it was definitely an odd sight to see a line there when neither were occurring. Upon closer inspection, which she'd done upon buzzing in closer on her scooter, she noticed stalls with apple treats upon them as well as a sign that read something about... Getting a bushel for five bits, and then... Kisses? Scootaloo's eyes widened upon reading that, and could she be blamed, then, for wanting to get to the bottom of it? She didn't know the Apple family to be running a carnival, and much less one that offered a glorified kissing booth. She'd only seen those about once or twice, and it'd been a no thank you moment every time. Scootaloo thought about families and special someponies more than she'd like to admit, but even for her kissing strangeponies seemed a bit much. Her thirst for knowledge is what brought her to skate in the farm, and it was there that she spotted Applejack and Applebloom, passing by a rather... Er, large stallion as she went. She stopped nearby them, hooking her helmet over the side of the scooter, and she didn't waste any time as she burst out, "Applebloom, what gives?" It took her a moment before she clarified what she meant by that, "A kissing booth? Seriously?" She was more so looking for an explanation than anything else. She didn't seriously judge her friend or her family for their... Eccentric choices of spending their time. Especially since she would be a hypocrite in that regard. (She would never admit to the fact that she'd spent a full hour trying to paint her fur cyan. No way, no sir.) Still, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle were supposed to be the more reasonable ones in the CMC; they needed her for the innovation. This seemed too out there for her friend.
