I'm almost done with my first year in an art college, although I am a transfer student from a university (was thinking of being a speech pathologist at one point but never really got into it). I'm creating my portfolio for the week we'll be declaring our majors, gotta impress those illustration professors! If not my plan B is fine arts.

My musical taste are all over the place. I listen to indie pop, classical, industrial, electronic, heavy metal, techno, and some movie scores. Some artist/bands I listen to: Emilie Simon Florence and the Machine Ruoska Rammstein Slot Amorphis

Roleplay Type: Mane RP Name: Amaretto Sex: Female Age: Mare Species Unicorn Eye Color: Deep teal Coat Color: Light red orange Mane/Tail/ Markings Color & Style Light cream almost white and very long and wavy, tail is shorter though and is normally kept tied up Physique: Thin and slightly taller than most mares Cutie Mark: Bright red heart with a bottle of sparkling fruit juice overlapping it Earned it through working with her mother and finding she had a knack for mixing fruits and making tasty drinks, as well as finding foods that complemented them. Origin/Residence: Born in Canterlot but moved to Appleloosa Occupation: Creates and sells sparkling fruit drinks from her home Motivation: To make the best drinks ever for ponies to enjoy just like her mother Likes: Sparkling fruit drinks, fruit and whipped cream, opera/classical music, adventure, the ‘wild west’, accordions Dislikes: Disappointing others, falling down stairs, dust storms, bad drinks, snooty ponies, big cities Character Summary: Amaretto was born one spring day in the Canterlot’s hospital maternity ward to father Max a’ Million and mother Sherry. Her father was a famous adventurer who would travel all over the world sending home letters and small trinkets to his wife and daughter back home in Canterlot. Her mother however was a homemaker, spending much of her time at home and doting over her only child; although in her spare time she would concoct stupdenous drinks that were always all the rage at events and parties she would bring it to. Amaretto would spend most of her free time at home either reading her father’s letters, playing with many of the toys that adorned her room, accordion lessons, and helping with the housework as best she could. She didn't have many friends since she felt so out of place in the high class city being more awkward, clumsy, and meek. By the time she was in her adolescence she had yet to find her true calling, and every day she was becoming more and more frustrated, that is, until one day. Her mother was mixing up one of her famous drinks for an important social event, and Amaretto being so down her mother decided to try and cheer her up by asking her to help; she hinted that it might help discover her special talent. The young filly eagerly accepted, meticulously and carefully performing each task her mother gave her. For once she wasn’t tripping over herself and wasn’t messing up anything! She never felt more happy than she was right then and there. Once done her mother congratulated her on a job well done and offered her a taste. The filly took a glass of the bright green liquid (the main fruit being kiwi) and began to drink. As fi the fruit juice was some magical potion a flash accord the second she finished the glass, and when her sight came back she saw her mother with a giant grin on her face pointing at her flank. Confused Amaretto turned to look at her flank and to her great joy her cutie mark finally appeared! Her mother praised her on finally discovering her true talent and that night after delivering the drink to the party Amaretto and her mother had their own little celebration. But all was not right with the world even when she got her cutie mark. Becoming an adult mare she still couldn’t fit in with the high class socialites of Canterlot, no matter how hard she tried. She began hearing talk about smaller settlements, one of the newer and most exciting sound of them being Appleloosa. The mare had always dreamed of the wild west and at the quickest opportunity bought a train ticket and set the date for her departure. She packed the few things she had and her life's savings and headed down towards the train station ready for her new life. After arriving in Appeloosa she bought a small little house right in the middle of town as well as all the equipment she needed to make her drinks. She’s still getting settled in with her new life and hopes on making new friends soon! Overall Personality: Meek, kind, over-emotional, hard working, honest, stubborn, friendly Heritage: Max a Million- Old orange stallion with green eyes and brown mane, adventurer [unknown status; NPC] Sherry- Old pale purple mare with blue eyes and white mane, homemaker [living; NPC] Flaws: Clumsy, constantly tripping over herself especially when nervous, stairs are her mortal enemy Over emotional, when she does something wrong she cries and becomes hysterical When she’s happy she cries too, pretty much with every emotion she has there’s some form of crying that is to be done Doesn’t know her limits with working, stubborn; if she promised to carry a ton of apples from one town to the next by herself then by Celestia’s beard she WILL figure out a way to do so (this can sometimes have pathetic and just downright silly outcomes) Magic: Can levitate objects and can make them do simple tasks like stirring or pouring, as well as carrying some lighter objects. ex: A case of her drinks can be carried with her magic one at a time Can also use her magic to play her accordion, if not a bit badly at times.

Thanks all for the welcome! and yeah I enjoy roleplaying once in awhile, it's a good break from all the papers I have to write. I've written down all the info for my character so onceI'm done with the 3 post thing I can put her up : )

About myself: I'm an art student going to college for either illustration or fine arts [as illustration has the toughest teachers and the lowest acceptance rate for the field cause of how hardcore they are]. As such I like drawing especially on my tablet, taking pictures, and to some extent painting, oils being the most brutal thing ever, easy to fix but a pain to try and get off the brush and clothes! I also like biking and watching movies especially horror : ) I also like music, especially industrial and techno. Oh and of course I'm a fan of my little pony! How did you hear about Canterlot.com?: I just searched for my little pony rps and it came up on google How did you became a fan of FiM?: Saw the very first episode and instantly became one of my most favorite shows to watch! I remember watching most of the my little pony movies and shows as a kid but this is by far my most favorite.
