  1. I now have a decent Droid Optimus..er..prime..V..Good phone. Great camera and video recorder. Does everything well, but play games...BEFORE that, I had a VERY old phone, not 1, 2 or 3, but 4-Evers! I really must of had it for seven years. It didn't do anything well, except make phone calls, and it was sturdy as heck..I must have dropped it like a zillion times...From all sorts of distances. However, it did not survive my Derpy moment when I left it on top of my car for an entire summer day during a rainstorm. Derp.
  2. Ha Ha! Look at you fellas talk'n about some girly show! Har Har! *Goes back to watching MLP*
  3. I dunno. So far they took two series that I HATED when I as growing up. The Thundercats and MLP. Shows I wouldn't touch as a little kid...And they really did something great with 'em. Wonder what other shows they could bring back and ACTUALLY make something fun with...Hmmmm. And the He-Man series that was done a few years ago wasn't that bad. Shame it didn't last long.
  4. Looks like someone posted a direct link from that site. Funny. The strip above wasn't posted then... This is what the poster wanted us to see..
  5. Still no changes for the episode on "Hub On Demand.", guess we'll just have to wait and see when Derby pops up again..
  6. Nah. Guns won't run it for me. Guns are cool. Humans on the other hand. The day one of those two legged critters pops up in the show will be a real 'Jump the shark' moment for me.
  7. I'm guessing it would be hard to hold and operate a gun with your mouth..so pies are always good for anything..Picnics...Rampaging buffalo....
  8. Yeah. TV Tropes had a bit on this one, they said, "At the end of the battle in the town, the way the apple juice from the pie that hits Chief Thunderhooves is dripping reminds this troper of a head wound causing blood to drip down the face."
  9. I was watching an episode the Batman; The Animated series with its commentary turned on, and one part Batman was fighting this robot replica of a police officer (Harvey Bullock). The creators (Forgot who was talking. maybe Paul Dini) pointed out that they were very limited on how they could show violence to humans, but when it came to robots, even robots that looked human, the sky was the limit! So they were able to show a human type robot having a rather gruesome death.
  10. I've tried to get people to watch the show. TRIED, but they think of the previous lovey dovey hugs kisses pink pink Care Bear stare type shows and get a big NOWAY!!!. I've put up random clips and Epic Pie Time on my Facebook account and while it was mostly ignored, I did get a few smiles and knowing nods from those in my lists that do watch the show. Not outright "MY FAVORITE SHOW EVAR!!!11", but hints.
  11. As someone who has watched a lot of toons during the 90's, some channels had stricter censorship laws/rules than others. When Batman:The Animated Series was on Fox Kids, they had some draconian type rules, some made sense (On screen deaths) to just silly (Could show homeless men, but no homeless women or children). The creators did a rather funny comic strip detailing what they couldn't show on Fox. Once the show moved to WB, they were able to make the toon closer to the funny books. They would have never made episodes like "Mad Love" or "Over The Edge" on Fox. Heck, you couldn't even say "Death" or "Dead" or 'Die" in most 90's toons. Note all the butchered anime episodes on CN. Nobody ever died. They were SENT TO ANOTHER DIMENSION! And I agree. Probably won't see any on screen deaths on this show..But still, they've gotten stuff past the censors before.. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Radar/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic
  12. Yeah, and who in their right mind would ever think a show called MY LITTLE PONY would make a reference to one of the darker scenes in the movie, "Trainspotting"?
  13. Giving a priest a noogie during a funeral..Ehh. I'm guessing there's at least four or five sins she's committing there.
  14. Just saw 'Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark". Neat idea. Boring movie.
  15. I'm just really really curious who was in that coffin! As for an on screen death. Ehhh. Don't see that happening. Or... Maybe Trixie! She learns the dangers of blood magic..Duh Duh Duh Daah.
  16. I love the show. They take something that at first looks really colorful and cute , which is actually a cover over a somewhat dark show. It takes place after the freaking apocalypse..And the episode, "Holly Jolly Secrets" took a goofy character and gave him a bit of a deep and depressing back-story. And just like MLP, we still haven't got a good DVD out of the show either. Meh.
  17. All CN has going for is Adventure Time, Regular Show, Young Justice, Venture Brothers and the upcoming Green Lantern toon. Actually, that's pretty good for a 'dead' channel.
  18. How did we survive in a DVR-less world? I don't care what time it's on, just as long as my DVR scoops it up. Still, the show deserves to be in a prime spot (8PM). It's not like the Hub has anything else to watch...
  19. For something as short and with such simple graphics, they did a really good job making it very creepy. Loved that one, along with "Cutie Mark Crusade" is another fun one, it's still in alpha-beta-omega-whatever-demo form, but I was surprised on just how good it was. If only Hasbro could get somebody like Doublefine to make a MLP game..Or even Telltale Games.. Anyone know any other good MLP fan games?
  20. I remember seeing all this pony-stuff on the assorted art sites I frequent. I was rather annoyed by the sheer amount of it. I remember MLP from the toys and the really awful cartoons my sisters would have in ye olden days, so I just assumed the show was the same "Pink pink! Wuv everyone heart heart" crap. Boy I was wrong!
  21. Yeah. Snails is a runt and he's following the time-honored comedy tradition of smart short fat guy befriending a tall, thin dumb guy.
  22. Yeah, they always looked more like gawky teens to me..
