Okay... I'm not sure of this, but i'll go out on a limb here and say anything that subdues a wild creature that doesn't cause pain, or hurt the creature in anyway. My suggestions would be. Sleep aliments Numbing aliments Freezing (External) Any sort of fear tactics, like screaming, fake-growling, or just a stare. You know, cartoonish ways.

As for part of your character's history; I'm guessing nothing too serious, and is meant for a quick gag. (Like joy-buzzers.) If you're talking about live Roleplay, I'm guessing with players consent first. I personally wouldn't mind if another player stuns me in any way, I'd roll with it... but some other players would. So i'd ask them first, just to be safe.

I know I kind of failed on Dio's app the other day, but here me out here. We have never seen weapons as their own, as a tool of defense in MLP. We have seen them as sport, with fencing. We have even seen them for ceremonial usage. Now, even though we have seen various scary creatures that looks like they should need weapons to be subdued, (like dragons, manticores, changelings, ect.) you must look at it this way. There is always a better alternative to subduing opposing forces in MLP, than using force against them. The manticore in the series premiere is a perfect example of this. Mane 6 sees a manticore; and instantly runs at it. They were about to let him have it... but then, Fluttershy yells at them to stop, and then proceeds to treat the Manticore with love and kindness, instead of warfare. Point is... there is always a more peaceful/graceful way to solving threats, than fighting in MLP. Albeit that one exception at the S2 finale, but that conflict still lacked any sort of harmful weaponry. Remember, this is a social RP... So blades would be quite useless. You might be thinking now... how come the Guards carry weapons anyways? Well, that's just ceremonial. Just a show of honor and merit, in lieu of the times that they did use weapons for combat. Last thing, it is very weird for your OC to have any sort of equipment that isn't standard loadout. You might need to elaborate on why she has a short-sword besides the regular Spear/Pike as well. It could be some sort of specialization, like giving a sapper an additional spade. Or giving a medic-pony an additional med-pack. After a grueling chase throughout the town square, Percival finally managed to track the scarlet serpent into an old workshop, by his shed scales. Percy's sure he has it now! Percival stood in front of the door, with his usual stalwart vigor, and his uneasy Fireteam postioned around him. The aura of the guards amplified like an impending bank of anxiety, waiting to flood into the small workshop. [colour=#008000]"Casper, [/colour](A nickname for Percy)[colour=#008000] why don't ya' jus' use yor' fancy X-ray magic on th' door?" [/colour]Suggested a Private from his team. [colour=#daa520]"Blimey! Good idea mate." [/colour]Percival wonders why he didn't think of that before. With a soft emission of golden light, Percy touched his X-ray spell onto the wooded door lying in front of him. Focusing intently, the spell sprang into effect. Unfortunately, the spell was meant for skin, and he was unable to peer into the environment inside. Percy felt slightly flustered in believing that the spell would actually work. This is a gryphon, in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. Just because he happens to be a different species of creatures, still means that they have to follow the same non-violent mentality. I know where you are coming from, really I do. But my only issue with that, is that the rank mentions something that... Doesn't exist in Mane RP Is too violent for the mentality of Mane RP. By mentioning the word "Guns" in an application, implies that it exist in the given Mane RP lore. Regardless of context. And Halo wouldn't be such a great example. As it is a rated "M" first person shooter, and this is a show based on pastel coloured ponies. Of course you won't. You weren't there silly! Anyways, based on past experience, I could whole-heartily say that any sort of real melee weapons is almost a hundred percent no in Mane RP. I have had plenty artillery fire lobbed at me, for putting in a sword for recreational use. Meaning non-violent. Diomedes says that Alistar's use of weapons came from Hunting (Killing of animals or lesser beings for food or sport). I could see some Mane RP fallout in that. More lore work? Sure. More Lore experience? Debatable... but besides the point. Anyways, last time I checked, the lore that stated Aqueillan Marines was in the "Lore Proposal" section. Meaning not approved yet. I think everybody on this site should follow proper lore procedure, regardless of position of power. Notice how I didn't go out and blatantly say... "Hey Dio, your app is too violent for Mane RP, and it's all your fault!" But instead, politely suggested changes to the app, due to my own past experience of getting my apps corrected by RP staff members. I am not saying that this app is broken at all. Heck, it's well written indeed. But I am simply suggesting to him possible changes, that is all. Not trying to start any firefights here. No seriously, if you want to further discuss this with me, PM me please. I don't want to continue any sort of discussion in somebody else's app.

I like this app Dio, it is very good and well rounded, but I only have a few things I would like to suggest to you... (I am no Helpstaffer, so this is not final) The Nickname "Guns" or "Gunnery" probably won't fly, due to the lack of any guns in Equestria. (Believe me I have searched!). My suggestion, change the name to "Gallantry" instead. The "Aquillan Marines" might not work either. As far as I know, it's not approved lore yet. I'd say just put military. The term "thrill of the hunt" and "takedown" kind of worried me there. Hunting what? Taking what down? This implies violence, at least to me. This ties into my next suggestion, you say "bow, spear, and blade " as hunting instruments. I know that you and I both know how it went when I tried to give on of my OCs a sword in Mane RP. Okay, that is all I have to say. Remember, this is not final, for I lack the honorary title of helpstaffer.

I know right? I think that Twilight Sparkle being a princess, conveys a doorway to more expeditionary experiences outside of just Ponyville. Imagine that... An new season 4, where everything is just a constant adventure! New places to see every single episode! It would be so great!

Well, I sure hope so Steel... I wouldn't want Twilight Sparkle to see all of her friends die. EDIT* The only way that I see that Alicorn Twilight could fit nicely into the show, is if the future adventures are worldwide. On a much larger scale. Because there is no way that MLP would be on such a small scale, due to Twilight being a princess. Maybe MLP would be made into a full-on adventure show (like Avatar), instead of being domestic. If that happens, then I would feel much better about Twilight's Alicornization.

I know right? All rap songs seems to be about these days are about Women and Money... it's annoying! But, there are a few good rap out there about more respectable topics. I'm not going to link them here... Site Rules. Here's a few. 911 - Gorrilaz... A song about the tragedy of the World Trade Center. I Need a Doctor - Dr Dre ft. Eminem... Eminem is rapping about how Dr Dre (His Mentor) is depressed about losing his son, and he wants him back. I'll Mind of Hopsin 5 - Hopsin... Hopsin is rapping on how pathetic the "swag" culture is, and that it should stop. When I'm Gone - Eminem... Eminem is trying to make his daughter feel better about his constant travelling and his recent divorce. Mockingbird is also similar to this. One Trick Pony - MictheMicropone... A song about how society is always following their same cliques, and how you need to be yourself! Be warned, all these songs have cursing... But they are great and goes really deep.
