I just received awareness about the level of offense, of the term on my "about me" page. Which will not be repeated on this blog post. I just wanted to say that I apologize for the racist term I coined. I had absolutely no intention of being racist, or violent to the race of people that I have referred to. What I was referring to, was a particular opposing force of the Knights Templar. Which I model my name, cutie mark, and general design/attitude after. I was never aware that the race I referred to was an actual, modern society.
By failing to acknowledge this, I have posted up a motto. That has violated my personal morality. And possible have offended and hurt other's feeling as well.
I must remember that we are all children of god, and I should treat every one of them as such.

Hello. Templar here. Today I will be sharing my progress on a new aspect of the Royal Equestrian Army, that I am hoping to get into the lore when it reopens. It is called the REASC, or Royal Equestrian Army Specialist Corps. Long story short, it will explain the placement of Officers, Medics, Sappers (combat engineers), and other special units in the REA. I am also hoping to expand on the Honor Guard Special Forces as well, although it is unlikely. This is also a good time for helpstaff/moderators to tell me whats wrong with the proposal as well.
I will now post the General Introduction, and the I Corps below.

    Royal Equestrian Army Specialist Corps
    Overview
The REA Specialist Corps (or REASC) is a collection of Military-related academies across Equestria. The Specialist Corps was established to ensure that the Royal Equestrian Army was capable of overcoming any sort of conflict, whether it be medical issues, lack of translation between species, or perhaps an unruly squad. The REASC is presented by numerous military academies. Each designed to profess the designated recruit a different aspect of the military.
    History
During the war between the Armies of Chaos, the 1st Field Army quickly found themselves facing complications that far extended usual combat. Such as lack of leadership, medical, or engineering capabilities. As a result of this, the usual method of training was magnified to fit the new found requirements. Now, new recruits was required to learn, leadership, medical and other new aspects of war. As the struggle grew, so did the demand for newer training methods. Due to this, training was slowed nearly to a halt. New recruits were overwhelmed by the massive amount of study, and the REA Traning cut rate increased by nearly 40%. This was certainly a problem in the Princess's eyes. The Royal Family and military leaders gathered to discuss this apparent problem. The decision was made that instead of overwhelming recruits with the entire aspect of war, separate academies would be present instead, leaving the recruits themselves to decide at their leisure. The Royal Equestrian Army Specialist Corps was born.
    General Organization
The REASC is mainly organized by two segments. Supportive Corps, established for further protection, aid, or security for the REA or Equestria herself, and Offensive Corps, established strictly for wartime purposes as a reserve corps, utilizing the latest wartime technology to ensure swift victory.
The REASC actively contributes to all 4 tiers of the regular army, but mainly tiers 0 and 1. Units within the Corps could either be deployed within platoons (partial). Or as an entire rank of it’s own (aggregate). Corps are listed below, from which the order of established. Traditional Roaman Numerals are used, but are pronounced as “First Corps.”

    Overview
The 1st Corps, as it’s name states, was the first ever created. It supplies the ranks of the REA with Officers, Lieutenants, Captains, Majors, Colonels, and occasionally, Generals. All for a similar purpose. To supply leadership and guidance to all four tiers of the REA. It is the most important Corps, and is essential for the prosperity of the REA.
    History
The history of the 1st Corps predates the establishment of the REASC itself, well into the birth 1st Field Army. Formerly, the structure of the 1st Army comprised of groups of 100 soldiers, each lead by a single leader, called a Commander. Unfortunately, Commanders was selected based on social status, and were usually inexperienced in the art of war. And due to the lack of further ranking on military leaders, Commanders often argued amongst themselves. This dealt a huge blow on the efficiency of the 1st Field Army. Although the war against the Armies of Chaos resulted in a victory, many casualties could have been prevented with an improved leadership system.
The Roamans invented a new idea to resolve this issue. Instead of rough groups of 100 soldiers, lead by an untrained commander, The REA would be divided up into large groups, called Legions (Later to be called Regiments.) Which are further divided into Cohorts (Battalions), Centuries (Companies), Platoons, and Tent Parties (Squads).
A Legate (General) would be in charge of a Legion, a Tribune (Major) would be in charge of a Cohort, a Centurion (Captian) would be in charge of a Century, and then a Prefect (Lieutenant) would be in charge of a Platoon. Each officer were required to learn numerous amount of study, and leadership training, to certify an efficient army leadership system. Thus, the Officer Corps were born!
    General Organization
Although very effective during the 2nd Field Army, the use of Legionary (Regimental) sized armies ceased, with the coming of the 3rd Field Army. The use of traditional Roaman terminology ceased as well, in favor for more practical terms. Ranks are listed below.
    Platoons
    2nd Lieutnant
    1st Lieutenant

    Companies
    Captain
    Major

    Battalions
    Lieutenant Colonel
    Colonel

General ranks 1 through 4 were used for Regimental-sized forces, but are no longer in deployment as of now.
The General of the Army, or 5-star General, is a title given to the supreme ruler of the REA. Who other than Princess Celestia herself. Referred as “Invictus” during the 2nd Field Army, this powerful figure is directly responsible for all four tiers of the Royal Equestrian Army. During wartime, if Princess Celestia sees herself unfit for advanced warfare, she is free to appoint a new General of the Army.
Officers are deployed within ranks, and never as a separate rank of their own.
    Uniform
Instead of the usual armor, REA Officer’s armor are designed as a dark purple, with their personal cutie-mark emblazoned in the center, located on the chest. Ranks above Major, have their helmet crest side-to-side, instead of the usual front-to-back.
