  1. I depends on how they present the alpha, really... For example, Overgrowth is still in early alpha, but instead of releasing the half-finished game itself, they are releasing the editor of the game. It's a great idea to get used to the mechanics and all-around fun and unique engine that the game has to offer, without dealing with all of the early release bugs.

  2. It's the people who send them out to fight... i dont like them.... They dont send their children out, they send other people's children out. They lie and deceive for their own gain putting peoples lives in danger for their own gain, usually having nothing to do with the reasons these soldiers joined... It's disgraceful in my opinion...

Assuming that you are talking about America...

If you are talking about situations like Bush sending troops out in Iraq, or our debated participation in Vietnam, I get where you are coming from. But you have to keep in mind, that you have to come up the bottom in order to get to the top. All US military Generals or high-ranking Officers had to be a 2nd Lieutenant first. And a 2nd Lt. will see the full violence of any military operation that they command. Same goes for enlisted ranks too. Many US presidents like Bush, H.W Bush, Kennedy, Truman, and Eisenhower also served in our military. And many of the aforementioned presidents has commanded military operations that their children was involved in.

I do, only my "other" country isn't in it...

Nor is it in the WHO.

You must be Kosovo, Taiwanese, or Vatican...

  3. I'm not trying to make his father's absence a tragedy that scarred him for life or anything, but it did play a significant role in Stormwing coming to place a huge importance on the value of family and heavily influenced his close-knit relationship with his mother and sister.

Not a helpstaffer here. Just a suggester.

I would like to point out, that there are more than one ways that the father could have absence from the family. These might not be permanent, (like divorce), but they are long-term.

    Royal Guard

    Overseas Archaeologist

    Travelling Diplomat

    Miner (In a distant mine)

Just to keep the ball rolling.

  4. I am not positive, but I think the idea of Stalliongrad was sprouted from the Slavic accents of the Spa ponies, Lotus and Aloe.

It is quite usual for Mane RP lore to be constructed from just Fan-fiction... But hey, i'm not sure.

  5. I was hopeing to get it to mane...but I like the cutie mark the way it is.

My suggestion, is to shift the focus from space... To simple pony mythology. Having your pony be a Vampire, Ghost, or all-around cryptid nut could work. Or perhaps even a superhero-fan (I could see you character is fascinated with comic books). For example, she could be convinced that the "Mare Do Well" could still be out there.

  6. Everybody guessed, I knew it'd happen at some point.

However don't trust the hype around it, never trust it since hyping yourself up for it and it turns out to be a disappointment. I learnt that rather cruel lesson the hard way with the gaming industry.

I know right? Aliens Colonial Marines man... Pre-ordered the limited edition with all of the fancy DLC and stuff, mad hype yo.

    Then... Then I played it...

  7. Okay, here are a few more of my favorites...

Holy cow... I could go on for ages! :kissy:

  8. Pegasi's magic is taken to be focused on weather manipulation and control. Typically we frown upon special abilities for pegasus characters that fall outside of that scope. For that reason the things Templar is suggesting aren't entirely viable options.

Oh, just to clarify... I meant the options to be from an external magical source, like potions.

I'm sorry that I didn't make that clear.

  9. i was thinking of the stunning not as something that would be used against another pony, but against wild things (like wolves, ursa major/minors) that she might come across while travelling. i realize that if directed against another pony it could be harmful, but given Pyper's personality I think she'd be very careful to not hurt anypony.

Okay... I'm not sure of this, but i'll go out on a limb here and say anything that subdues a wild creature that doesn't cause pain, or hurt the creature in anyway. My suggestions would be.

    • Sleep aliments
    • Numbing aliments
    • Freezing (External)
    • Any sort of fear tactics, like screaming, fake-growling, or just a stare.

    You know, cartoonish ways.
