1. oh and how bout that word filter? It works on the entire sight, 18+ isnt an exception. It'll censor c.r.a.p. but not that word I used in my post in that obviously vulgar way. amazing.
2. Question, is iron pony "canon" to our character's timeline?
3. Hmmm, you distract me from writing my fan fic for this? Very well.
4. I don't tend to like Spike at the size he is now with Rarity either, it's unnerving. It really puts spike in a weird position, since in my head canon the CMC aren't older than 8 so they aren't suitable to little puppy love either. My head canon Spike is suffering a in a twilight like state of being OLD enough, but not being physically mature enough and vice versa.
5. For some reason I can't see ponies in MLP aging at the same rate. It just doesn't seem like the case, if we knew how old ponyville was we'd have a decent idea. It just seems unlikely that ponyville is >30 years old. Of course you are right in that regard, but with dragons since greed and possession heavily affect their growth rates it's not really a good way to describe a dragon past the hatchling stage of it's life. It's entirely possible for Spike to remain that size until the day Rarity dies, we just don't know enough about dragon maturation to really say. What I'm saying is that age Twilight hatched him before magic kindergarten (which for a human would be around the age of 4-6) we have no idea how old Twilight is, but I like to think that noone in the mane is is over the equivalent of a 21 year old woman. So at absolute maximum we have a 12-21 spread (in my head) which I can lower even further with facts like Rarity wasn't formally trained, and didn't go to school for what she does (or has yet to be stated) and assuming that as a prodigy, Twilight hatched Spike when she was 4. That can bring the gap down to 14(Spike)-18(Rarity). (BTW thats my head canon) Then there is the problem with Spike being a baby. I agree that the way Spike looks now, it would be creepy. But most fic that are Spike x Rarity actually had both Celestia and Twilight be competent enough to regulate greed and possession for Spike at some point so that he could be at a stage in his life that was most comparable to what a colt the same age would be. That or Spike left then, returned aged up because his experiences. TL;DR: I don't think age is much of an issue, it's maturation and because of the fact that Spike is a dragon he is pretty much being cheated. Remember how spike looked in the middle of "Secret of my Excess" when he was maybe about 3/4 the size of a diamond dog? That's how large I believe he would be if they regulated his dragon tendencies to let him grow at a manageable rate.
6. She could've come by train, but she had the bits for airship travel so why spare anything when it comes to luxury. The vehicle touched down smoothly and Gear exited the ship. With her hooves on solid ground she sucked in a dead breath then exhaled. Canterlot, the city of dreams. Gear Shift could only scoff at the title, more like were dreams went to die to her. That was just her biased opinion though, after flunked out of the magical and mechanical engineering university she sort of held a grudge against the city. She shook the mean thoughts from her head. No me and the professors at the university for just didn't see eye to eye. Adjusting her goggles, the the salamander unicorn navigated the streets of Canterlot with memorized efficiency. She wiped her licorice black bang away from her eye and levitated the flier out of her bag and took another look at it. The warehouse across from the Army Historical Museum. She knew where the museum was so that part was. Committing the emblem on the flier to memory, she puled her vest tight and fastened her saddle bags then checked her surroundings. She reached the museum and scanned the area for the crest that was printed on her flier. "Ah ha!" She said in an accomplished tone when she found the symbol. There was a tanned coloured stallion with a decently filled saddle bag and a white mare there as well. She thought about teleporting over there just to save time, but she didn't want to startle the ponies. Instead, she opted to just casually stroll on over there. "Um, hi. You ponies here about that magic guild?" She asked casually
7. I can't say what I want to say about this without getting a warning point.
8. I see you made a large post...what story element did you reveal this time? Are all of the cities still on the map? Are we still in Kansas?
9. If you really want to make this story interwined Spaced. That Grandmaster of yours can in fact be very aware of who Grim Stride, son of Gen. Grimlocke and lady Grim Rose, is. And comment on ignoring him for now, or go for a two kill for one situation. Bonus points for insulting the honor of Grim's bloodline along the lines of him leaving his father to die; his father deserting his wife and nation to protect a malificar child, thus losing his honor as a knight; and his mother's practice of generously donating to the chantry to get them to increase their efforts to kill him, thus solidifying her as a wretch not even mare enough to defend her child. Straight up, that would break his will to fight on the spot.
10. Well they could its definitely possible, if they were under my control they would. I actually planned on having stuff happen to explain fully Grim's back story since he joined the Warden Midnight doesn't even know the nature of whats between him the the Templars he just knows how they found Grim. What? That fact that grim is alive or a warden? Never large groups small squads, and the description "spent his life living templars" is justifiable seeing as that is pretty much the sole reason he was trained. He didn't literally wake up every morning and kill templars for breakfast. More like the key defining moments of his life revolved around killing templars like his father dying which he blames in a round about way on the templars. It's the same way a my grandfather says he spent his life killing germans even though world war two wasn't very long and didn't kill alot of people just that those moments defined his life. Seeing as Grim is at most equal to an 18 year old, and he's been fighting them since he was probably around 8 it is definitely an appropriate description.
11. Grim is a known apostate, and likely VERY wanted because of his mother's status. He did what he did out of self defense. him and his father moved around and often times fought and killed templars.
12. Pretty much Hoax is the only one really bad off here. I'm not saying that they aren't capable, the opposite actually. I'm pretty sure they are great since they are with the grandmaster. But Grim has been killing Templars since he could hold a sword and really blames them and himself for his fathers death. He'd never under any circumstances help them do anything. That however conflicts with the goal of Killing shadow because Grim was ordered to do so and Templar's are in his way. I will try diplomacy, but I can't guarantee you the the town wont be painted red. Also don't get me wrong I'm not power gaming at all our characters have already been shown to be extremely dangerous in the thread. The grandmaster is the only real threat there and only because he has minions there. I assumed it was because Midnight could sense the demonic possession and wanted him either near or dead for safety reasons.
13. I pretty much thought of both ways it could go down. You have one big bag named Templar there right. Grim would negotiate for shadow's head. Grim certainly will still have his game face on and still threaten them. This can actually get pretty deep. If a fight break out the Chantry wouldn't do anything too crazy, or the deal can be made and they renig on it like assumed they would.
14. These Templars are elite mooks they don't even have names. Add to the fact that the only one disadvantaged in this fight is Hoax twelve templars vs 2 wardens and both Shadows characters plus Hoax is definitely beyond winnable. It's actually trivial. That's like saying the ninja turtles wouldn't have won most of the fights they did against the foot. Did the thread get moved.
15. Which is why I said it would end the same way. All using the rites would accomplish is getting kicked out of stalliongrad and secret Templar death squads ambushing use everywhere because if they really took the time to set Hoax up, I doubt they would just let her go. The Warden lose no matter what the deal is.
16. Rite on conscription would end the same way as If grim killed them actually.
17. Not really, no one like's Templars and if the Chantry came after the Warden's they'd essentially consign the world to oblivion. Thus no one in their right mind would support the Chantry in hunting Wardens. We haven't written a hole...we've written an excellent sub plot. -------------------- Rite on conscription would end the same way as If grim killed them actually.
18. Spaced has the same problem I have, conveying emotion on the internet.
