  3. I'm just going to try and find a crowd of people with signs. And then I will stare them down until 0001 on the 22nd. If there are no sign-wielding crowds, I will be very unhappy.
  4. I have a few German ones: Buck, Baylin, Withersburg and a couple others. Sent from my C771 using Tapatalk 2

  8. Got about half of one (well four), pictures later once I shock it. Don't think anyone wants to see me bleeding. Edit: YEAH I'll get it finished when I come back from leave. Sent from my C771 using Tapatalk 2
  9. I think the only thing I categorically don't like (and I listen to crazy weird stuff) is probably speedcore. It just sounds like noise to me. For anyone who's not a fan of rap or hip-hop, I suggest they look up instrumental hip-hop or some jazz-hip-hop fusions. And as for country, may I suggest steering clear of contemporary country rock (or songs about running over a dog in the rain while having wife issues) and looking for folk songs (Show of Hands omg) or old-timey country? Also, Korkiplaani is one band in a very neat genre called Scandinavian power metal (really just power metal, but Scandinavians have their own way of doing it so yeah--music spergpurists come at me bro). Sabaton is another example, and so is Nightwish, and Finntroll sort of comes in, though they're less "power"y and heavier. Or getting into much heavier stuff, check out Lordi. Lordi is nuts. Or hey, while I'm rabbit-trailing, check out industrial bands. Rammstein is kinda the prime example.
  10. I got the program a long time ago, but I couldn't figure it out, so I got rid of it.
  11. Been thinking about doing this, but I have no idea what to get. Sorry for the necro. Didn't want to start another thread about the same thing.
  12. I caught bits of Inuyasha, DBZ, most of Zoids (both versions!), various snippets of the Gundam franchise, Outlaw Star and Cowboy Bebop on Toonami, but the very first subbed anime I watched was FLCL, I think. Although it might also have been Samurai Champloo--pretty sure I got them at roughly the same time. :I
  13. 11. That was way more work than I was hoping for.
  14. Stephan Kinsella and David Koepsell have some very illuminating and logical views on the whole idea of "intellectual property" (and, well, the state itself, but let's fight one battle at a time!). I can't very well articulate their views in an abbreviated form; besides that, I think everyone will get a lot more out of it if they go looking for their works on their own.
  15. http://amymebberson.tumblr.com/ Not sure where one puts a pocket watch if one does not have a pocket. i am screaming
  16. Sonic was probably the best choice for a video game PSA character, by far. I also, uh, dug, all the random references in the Game Station (not sure if that was an intentional dual-layer pun or not). Maybe a little too much emphasis on Sugar Rush, given the absolutely perfect chance for crossover mayhem, but I guess it was an okay direction to take. Less chance for the plot to go haywire. I was also really confused about Turbo--they introduce the term very early on, but there's no explanation until the film is halfway done or later. Honestly I was expecting it to be some kind of video game liberation terrorist group.
  17. I took one of these a while back and got INTJ. Seems right, but I'm way too lazy and poor to actually take over the world.
  18. I will refuse to enjoy it until 70% of the Internet is raving about it, like most things.
  19. This is unironically everything that I am in a nutshell. I also have some very nice 19c marches for some motivating walks.
  20. It's probably my favourite anime, not least because it's one of the few where human advancement is portrayed as desirable and good. It's basically the opposite of Nausica, which is something I loathe.
