I've asked RCTwilightSparkle to take over Twilight until me exams are finished <3 when I get back, I promise to give it my all, I can't wait until I have more free time.

Twilight followed Lemon into the shop, as Strawberry's comment about chilli-chocolate cakes set of memories of her first night in ponyville - Pinkie Pie's surprise party, her unfortunate incident with the hot sauce. Smiling fondly, she shook her head. "I haven't yet had the pleasure," she said, breathing deeply the sweet smell of baking cakes. The shop was a wonderland of sweets of every imaginable kind - lemon and poppy seed muffins, chocolate and mint cookies, iced biscuits, larged cakes piled with frosting and hundreds more types of delicious baked food. Lemon's curiosity and politeness warmed Twilight to her, and she replied "We have pretty much every kind of book - books about ponies, books about magic, books about science and art..." she trailed off vaguely, "we'll take you there later on!" she suggested, glancing back at Strawberry questioningly.

I have to take a period of inactivity due to some fairly major exams that begin on Monday. They're my A Levels, so they are incredibly important, and the reason my posting has become slightly fragmented over the past week or so. They go on until mid June, at which point I intend to come back with 20% more vigour. If you guys feel the need to ask someone else to take on Twilight, either temporarily or permanently, I can't do anything to stop you, but I'm not sure I'd still visit the site if it wasn't to rp Twi ~ see you all when I get back from exams - I may be able to post in the middle, unless someone takes over from the time being, as there is a break between one lot and the next.

"Ooh, yes please!" said Twilight politely, accepting some berries from Starwberry with a nod of thanks. Twilight smiled at the formal greeting little filly gave, swallowing a mouthful of strawberry hastily. "It's lovely to meet you too!" she said as she fell into step with the pair, interested to hear that she hadn't been the only one awake all night. "I would love to come and join you two for breakfast!" she said, swishing her tail excitedly - Sugarcube Corner was widely renowned as the best bakery in Ponyville. "And I can definitely help you with a book or two, Strawberry!" she said excitedly, already running through in her head the possibilities for the other pony's mystery bloom. Twilight had to pause to stifle a yawn, and blushed as she caught up with the others. "Sorry, I've been up all night too," she laughed, "I've been updating and repairing the star charts in the library, it's taking aages." By this point the trio has pretty much arrived at Sugarcube Corner - after all, Ponyville was pretty small. She stopped, smiling warmly at Lemon Sunrise "after you!" she said, motioning with her hoof for the filly to enter first.

Twilight yawned as she trotted happily out of the door, waving Aloicious out of the door as he flew off to roost. She took a deep breath, enjoying the warmth of the morning sun on her mane. "What a beautiful morning!" she remarked, turning, expecting to see her small lilac dragon following her. She stopped, and realised he was probably still sleeping. She smiled fondly, and shut the library door behind her, trotting towards the centre of Ponyville, wondering what to do with herself. She was toying with the idea of visiting Zecora in the Everfree forest, and was meandering unconsciously that direction when she noticed that she wasn't the only pony out and about. A small yellow filly was trotting happily alongside a pony she knew vaguely as Strawberry Blossom. Twilight smiled at both of them. "Good morning, Strawberry!" she called, moving over to them with a warm smile to both. "It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day!" She turned her attention to the smaller filly, whom she didn't recognise. "Hi there. I don't think I've seen you in Ponyville before. I'm Twilight Sparkle, I'm very pleased to meet you!" She meant it. Since discovering that there was indeed more to a young pony's life than studying, Twilight had begun to immensely enjoy making new friends, and she always likes to be able to write to Princess Celestia, so she was constantly looking for new lessons to learn.

Twilight smiled as the foal tucked his twist back into his bag. As he shook his head, she couldn't help but marvel at how very small he was - he was really small enough to be not much more than a baby. Idly, she wondered how old he was as she placed a bag of cookies on the counter with a smile to Mrs Cake, before turning her attention back to the younger pony. "Wow, Cloudsdale! I've been there once, it's very beautiful." She decided against asking why he'd been sent here - she didn't want to make a pleasant conversation awkward with private questions. Instead she tried to recall if she'd ever visited the dentists in Ponyville. "Wow, a dentist! I bet she makes you clean your teeth after treats from sugarcube corner, huh?" smiled Twilight, handing over a couple of bits for her biscuits, before turning her head quickly back to her young friend. "I like watching the stars too," she sighed, thinking happily of her telescope. Then a terrific idea struck her. "Hey, you know, if you ever want to share my telescope, you're welcome to come over! I live in the Ponyville library, and I love stargazing too!"

"It probably was - Pinkie Pie is a good friend like that," Twilight smiled, thinking fondly of the pink filly who had taught her so much about friendship. She was always doing things like that - reaching out to nervous ponies like this young colt here and making them feel welcomed. It was, after all, her special talent. Twilight was surprised when she realised that Starlight was offering her one of his precious twists. "Oh, thank you very much!" she said, "but you have it. It's very kind of you to offer though," she said, feeling more and more affection for the young pony every moment. "So have you been in Ponyville for very long? I don't think I've seen you around before, but I'm sorta new myself - I've been here a good while, but one can never be sure. After all, you can never know everything, right?"

Twilight smiled at the foal stammered a polite greeting. "It's an honour to meet you too!" she exclaimed, with what was genuine delight. Since learning that making friends didn't need to mean the end of her studies, Twilight had delighted in getting to know anypony who came under her nose - literally under her nose, in this case, she thought wryly, tilting her head down ever so slightly so she could see the tiny foal better. "Candy? No, I came in to keep an eye on my friend Pinkie-Pie - she was in here earlier, running the store for Mr and Mrs Cake while they were out making deliveries." Twilight lowered her voice conspiratorially, " She can get a bit overexcited, see?" she explained, pointing to a trail of frosting, sugar strands and crumbs that traced the path that Pinkie Pie had recently taken upon exiting Sugarcube Corner.

A pony for a cook? Her special talent is stargazing, but she can and likes to cook as well. She'd start off in Cloudsdale, but I can either get her to wherever the ship docks/moors, or maybe they stop off in Cloudsdale, since it's in the air? But yeah, she'd leap at the chance to travel on an airship if she could stay in the galley all day and only come out at night. Peace and quiet, that's what she likes, and a chance to stargaze. Consider me? My writing style is minimal, but I'd like to think I'm fairly standard, I'll give you more than enough to work with.

Twilight frowned and put her head on one side, considering. "That doesn't sound like much fun. Maybe you should steer clear of such busy places until you're a bit bigger," she joked, smiling at the nervous pony. A few months ago, Twilight would probably not have been too comfortable - perhaps as nervous as her young acquaintance was - but she was confident now, and, thanks to her friends, had enough empathy to notice how nervous the foal was. "I'm Twilight-Sparkle," she smiled.

Hey guys I found this forum through devart, I'm really looking forwards to roleplaying with everyone! My characters are Twilight-Sparkle and Orbit, I'm not sure whether I'll make any more or not, for now two seems plenty to be getting on with. I'm on GMT, so I can take a while to reply, just bear with me, I'll get around to it when I'm awake!

[ Pony Related Character ] Name: Orbit Gender: Female Age: Filly/Almost Mare Species: Pegasus Pelt Color: Dark Blue Mane/Tail Color & Style: Silvery-grey, with blonde streaks. Her mane is side-parted and has no fringe, it just falls down one side of her head. The blonde bits are cropped short and styled to stick up - in her mane, it sticks backwards next to her ear, and the tail also sticks up. Eye Color: Deep Blue Cutie Mark: A galaxy the same silver as her mane, with three stars around it. Physique: Tall for her age, but nothing unusual. Residence: Cloudsdale at the moment, but she wants to travel, since she doesn't like the city very much. Occupation: Astronomer Motivation: She saw a meteor shower when she was a filly, and this made her feel inspired. She read and researched all of the books she could find on stars, and eventually she realised that all she wants to do is stargaze. Her older sister, Nebula, also likes stars, but Orbit hasn't seen her in a long time, since Nebula left home after a lot of arguments with their parents. This was why Orbit liked to escape to her roof so much, which is where she first saw the stars. Likes: Stars, night-time, quiet talks, cherryade, flying, drawing, peace and quiet. Dislikes: Noisy places, small spaces, very hot days, ponies without a sense of humour. Character Summary: Her cutie mark is a galaxy and some stars, reflecting her special talent - she's an astronomer, she loves looking up at the stars from her home in Cloudsdale. She has a little bit of a feeling of a small pony in a big city, though, and she's looking to leave and go exploring. Cloudsdale is busy, noisy, and the only time Orbit can get any peace and quiet is at night time, on the roof of her house. She is never seen without her pocket book of stars, her telescope and her beverage of choice, cherryade. She dislikes feeling as if no-body notices her, so she's considering leaving home to travel - she's almost a mare now, so she thinks she needs to get out and explore Equestria. She can come accross as shy and quiet, but she can have fun all the same - she likes to fly, draw and cook. She is very easy going, and will try almost anything with good nature.
