    Àilóng knew full well what he was doing, and knew full well how the Chamberlain would react. AND knew full well that Yuè would not want to deal with the Chamberlain. The dragon sometimes came across as having his head in the clouds, but was smarter than some may give him credit for. Thus far everything was going as planned. Not that there was really much of a plan! He smiled as Yuè climbed aboard, and even brighter still as she let herself have a moment of play! Tonight may just work out after all! Wiggling almost like a cat, Àilóng soon zipped off and up into the sky as soon as he was sure that the Empress had a firm grip on his back. What kind of date would it be if she fell off midflight!...Not that uh, not that it was a date though. Ahah. Ha....Were the Chamberlain to peek into Yuè's chamber, he'd only catch her and the dragon already halfway gone into the night! "You really need a nicer Chamberlain." the King commented with a little smile over his shoulder as he made the way towards the night's festivities.

    That's about what the dragon had expected Yuè's reaction to be. The poor mare had become increasingly worried every passing day with proper this and wise that and protocols and bluh. It wasn't healthy for her! Àilóng wasn't going to let her worry herself stubborn like her advisors and chancellors and chamberlain. "Oh certainly! Remember, the unexpected arrival of a Long is always an auspicious occasion. Especially on a holiday!" he said with a lighthearted giggle. "Speaking of holidays, tonight is the last night of the First Moon. Surely you're not intending to miss out on the festivities?" he already knew the answer, she had intended on it, whether she really wanted to or not. The weight of this crown was slowly snuffing her passionate flame, and he simply couldn't stand it. Àilóng shook his head. "That just won't do! We can't have you missing out on this wonderful occasion. It's a great chance to connect with your people, and to unwind from the stresses of the days past." And it perhaps gave him a great chance to express how he felt for his longtime friend. The Long held out a claw. "Come on, never let a chance to enjoy your life pass you by."

    Words cannot accurately describe HOW excited I am for this song. Not only is it a song by my all time favourite band ever, it marks the teasing beginning of a new saga in Coheed and Cambria's repertoire. The last album, The Colour Before The Sun was awesome, but it was also a departure from the norm in that it was the first non-concept album to date (not counting albums from when they were Shabutie). Before then, their previous albums had followed the store of The Amory Wars, a story and comic series written by their lead singer Claudio Sanchez. This new saga will likely prove to be just as amazing and thought provoking. I could go into the premise we were given here, but you can click through to the Youtube video to give it a looksee there.     Sooooo, I missed a few days again! Whoopse. Part of that was me dropping the ball. Part of it was me falling last week and busting my rear. Still sore today, but it's my birthday so I won't let that get to me too badly! Today we have a song that, probably unsurprisingly, was somewhat of an inspiration for my Siren, Prima Donna!

    So for anyone wondering why it's been quiet on the Dub front, I fell and busted my rear on some steps a few days ago and juuust now am able to sit in my computer chair for extended periods of time =U

    Through the late night air, Àilóng wistfully circled around high over the cloudtop city of Longri-La. Tonight was the last night of the First Moon, Long Guo's joyous celebration of the new lunar year. Even in the tranquil city of the Long, the celebrations were in full swing. But for the past two weeks, the dragon had spent most of it helping set up rather than partaking in the festivities. Granted, it was a pleasure getting to help the council and the citizens out, but by the time everything was ready, he was far too tired to enjoy any of it! The time he did have 'free', was spent in Dragon's Heart taking care of duties of the Serpent King, which meant even less of a chance to enjoy it. Tonight though? Tonight would be different. It had been some time since Yuè's visit. Time to think, time to pine, time to plan. But the time to do any of that had passed, the time to act was now. With a little snort of smoke and a grin, Àilóng zipped his way off towards Huangjing as swiftly as he could... Which for a dragon was rather swift. Music and merriment filled the air of the Imperial capital, Àilóng was certain tonight would be a perfect chance. Despite the temptation to join in on the dancing and laughter, the King had a goal in mind. The palace, as tightly guarded as it always was, was rather easy for Àilóng to slip into. It was like the guards knew that he was The Serpent King and wouldn't dare try to stop him or something! The Long giggled to himself as he flew up and over towards where he knew Yuè's room to be, landing gently on the balcony. "Surely you don't intend to retire for the evening just yet?" he said breaking the silence of the mare's stride towards her bed.

    So lemme start off by letting peeps know I'm fine lol. You would not BELIEVE the ordeal I've gone through just to write this. I tried getting on Discord on my mom's cellphone, but I needed to verify that it's cool so I had to long into my email, but to do that I'd have to log into my OTHER email to say it's cool But to do THAT I'd have to log into the other other email to say it's cool. But I couldn't remember the password right and locked myself out of that 3rd one for like 12 hours but it's fine. Anyway, so there was a big storm that rolled through on Friday, and apparently these storms knocked out 4 of our ISP's towers. They're working on bringing them back up but I've got no ETA on when that'll be. Right now I'm using my mom's cell as a hotspot, so I'm not really going to be here long. I just wanted to let people know who may be worrying that all is well other than me slowly losing my sanity xD Hopefully it won't be long before they get their towers back up. Originally we thought it was something here since lightning struck a tree in our yard, but it seems to not be the case I don't believe. Windy, if you get a chance to read this, be sure to spread the word to the other groups that I'm fine and what's goin on =U

    "That's right. Wasn't always like that but I won't bore you with my past. There's about fifty of us in the pack, we live under the deserts near Appleloosa." he said with a proud grin as he pulled the bits from his jacket and laid them on the table. "Oh a bit of this and that. We dig up gems and minerals and relics and sell them across Equestria. Sometime I'm around Ponyville you're free to come and take a look at my wares!" Gideon nodded over his shoulder at his cart. "I won't hold you up any longer for now, it looks like you've still got a lot of apples to sell." With a little smile, Gideon leaned in and placed a gentle paw under her chin as they met for a smooch! Tender and sweet but only a moment. Pulling back he grinned and winks. "Mm, minty fresh, ten out of ten! Ahaha. Thanks Applejack, you have a great day!" The diamond dog waved farewell and went about loading up his baskets into his cart, nomming on one of the apples along the way. -Exit Gideon-

    The bipedal canine gave a chuckle. Good to see that having to swap spit with so many ponies today hadn't hampered this mare's spirits any. "Nice to meet you, Applejack. The name's Gideon, Giddy for short if you like! Pack leader and traveling merchant!" he said proudly, but now obviously wasn't the time to go into a sales pitch, his grumbling hungry stomach attested to that. Gideon rubbed his chin and glanced over the selection of fruit. Truth be told he'd not be able to tell one apple from another. "Well, I can't say I'm too much of an apple connoisseur so I suppose a trio of mixed bushels would do the trick if that's fine with you." with a small hum he began to dig through the pockets of his jacket to pull out the required bits. "Plan on taking them home with me to my pack." his stomach growled loudly once again, causing him to blush a little. "...Well most of em anyway."

    Well! It seemed that in getting caught up in the idle chit chat with the ponies in line around him did indeed speed up the process. Kinda. On the one paw it felt like it took ages! Months! But on the other paw it really was only a few minutes. Time was always a weird concept, but this wasn't the place to be contemplating time! Nope, Gideon was a hungry dog and he was sure that no one would appreciate him holding up the line, least of all his stomach! "Sounds like I'm up, 'scuse me!" he said to his conversational partners before making his way up to the booth with a whistle. Coming up on Applejack's booth, Gideon politely grinned and waved in greeting. "Hey there, hi there miss! Looks like business is really boomin with this kissing booth innit?" he wondered just what this pony's reaction would be. After hoards of ponies in line to get a smooch and some apples, the sudden diamond dog thrown in the mix likely would be a bit of a shock! Hopefully a humorous one at the very least.

    After a couple months of work, I finally feel ready to present Bahamut and Rosetta! (Presented ala an App for the AU Character section as to save...SO much space.) I'll also make note that I've got a version of Dark Core as well.
