Wouldn't one of them have to be a unicorn though? Yet again, Derpy could be a single parent with a unicorn foal who then met Dr. Hooves in recent times. That is the great thing about her, you can pretty much go anywhere storywise. The whole Derpy as Doctor Hooves companion in space and time idea is pretty popular though. Okay now I have an art idea!

Dang, that must have taken a while with the backdrop and all and you definitely got the feel of Equestria in the design! Looks great to me, but what I really like is all the effort put into the scenery.

Only thing I know is that Dash isn't related to her; I was told in the old shows she was related to Cheerlie but that doesn't make sense for FiM. Most likely though she probably has Pegasus parents that we just haven't seen yet. I still think Fluttershy was adopted by earth ponies though!

That was my thought to, that it be a "flip of the genetic coin" kinda deal. Perhaps before birth there is some metaphysical predetermination or knowledge what their specialty will be helps determines their type. Yet again it may be completely random. Another possibly the foal of a mixed union may much likely be what her mother was (or vise versa). I wonder if anyone asked the WoG (i.e. Faust) this question?

Combine that with anonymity and I am surprise she doesn't get more crap from folks (maybe her great replies keeps them away). Good news is the next several are going to be around the main six again; I believe today's is going to be a Rarity episode.

They are slightly annoying to me as the CMC, even then I still find them rather endearing. I enjoy each of them far more as individual characters, especially Applebloom, although in that latest episode I did grow to like Scootaloo a bit more than before.

Yaaa... Agreed, and it felt rather forced; I hope that was just the writer doing that for that one episode.

I like the idea of having a single official latest episode discussion thread with embedded links, if only to make it easier for everyone to chat about it. Only suggestion I have is perhaps "sticky" the new episode thread in a prominent location each tome one comes out, so everyone can easily know when one is started and can participate. I don't know if the forum you all are using has that feature or not.

Not on a personal level, what I do know is she goes by Kiira, and at first she has stated she didn't care about the fandom since she is not active in the community at all, just wanted to do show for the money; at least that was her response in her Youtube channel (which is now closed). Although she stated on her own sitehttp://kiiracommissions.webs.com/aboutme.htm that claims she is one (a furry). So at this point who knows, all I know is that she doesn't involve herself with the fandom at large. My Strange Addiction was looking for someone who likes fursuits for a while, no surprise they got someone sooner or later, in the long run it doesn't mean much, I hope fandom people aren't mad about it because it isn't that big of a deal.

I am not sure if this board is full of us, but seems like a decent amount. Personally I just like to show were are not all weird, annoying nutjobs, but just like any other fandom, its the really bizarre folks who stand out the most even though they are the minority. Besides most of us here are likely in multiple fandoms to some degree and don't view themselves as purely a "furry", or purely an anime fan, or even a bronie. Myself, I am involved more in the general Science Fiction fandom than any of the others.

Heard about it, hadn't gotten to see it yet. Thanks. Godamnit. I hate it when non-furs twist stuff like that. Makes a bad name for the rest of the fandom. She is a local to my general area; the ironic part is that she doesn't participate in the fandom at all, doesn't do conventions, or associate with the locals, etc. She just likes to dress up in that fursuit, and well get the $$$ for dong so for TLC.

Trixi seems incredibly popular considering the amount of stories and art I see created around her. I dunno, she was a horrible, shallow pony in the episode, but you wonder if there is something that caused her to be that way as a reaction and that her story isn't completely told.

I used to easily say Rarity but after Suited For Success she really grew on me as a character and I started liking her far more because she no longer appeared shallow at all. Now I am not sure, maybe Pinky Pie because I am not sure where you can go with her beyond her spontaneous weirdness. That being said I do like Pinky Pie a lot, it is if I had to choose... I know a few folks say Fluttershy, but to be she is just so utterly adorable I cannot help but think good things about her.

That is most likely the best attitude to have, I salute you for it, and btw it is nice to meet you.

Next Generation, I think I watched every episode of that when it premiered for seven years straight, so I am pretty "bad" when it comes to that franchise as well. Still have my Enterprise D model

Really when friends kept telling me about the show as they always knew I had a soft spot for "cute stuff" if its done well. I was pretty dismissive at the idea of even watching at first because after all it was "My Little Pony" and all my memories of the franchise was from that bland Eighties cartoon and the related toys my sisters collected back then. My friends were pretty persistent and sent me a link to Youtube to watch and again I almost brushed the whole show off because "oh another one of those damn lazy flash cartoons" mentality I had. Still I gave it a chance and listened and watched one night on my computer the pilot two parter, then the next episode, and so forth... and the rest is history. The show manage to conquer every one of my preconceived biases that originally kept me away and that is pretty damn impressive. Being a dude in my thirties, that is even more shocking.

Why would you feel bad if you were from FA? Well as far as this fandom goes, most of my interaction is from Equestria Daily where you would occasionally see the "stupid furfags" comments on anything from anyone who is considered "furry" (even if the art or story was completely within the FiM mainstream). So basically I would never say that I am from FA or anything of the sort. I wasn't sure about this place but I assumed the same just to be safe. *Note*: To be fair none of the anti-furry stuff came from the Equestria Daily admins, I just wanted to get that out there.

Now I don't feel so bad, I thought I was the only one from or on FA in this group.

I actually found this place through FiMChan's Donut Steel threads, and then only heard about it on ED later on.
