Sunburst

(OMG I've been so busy this week I haven't even been on the forum! Sad pony.) I LOVED this episode. Am I....the ONLY pony that liked Pinkie's song? I thought it was adorable. And (as a vegan) I squeed a little inside when she mentioned they were all vegetarians. Which...duh, they're ponies. But still. X3 Also hippy tree hugging Applejack? Fluttershy saying she would like to be a tree? JUST.TOO.CUTE.

Well, if you're ever interested, there are age groups of all kinds attending. Actually, I'm 26 and this will be my first rave... There are quite a few older folks that go though according to my roomies. They have even seen people well into their 40's attending, even if they don't dance or run around like crazy fillies. It's lots of fun for everyone. Imsomniac puts on quite a few of these events a year, including Electric Daisy Carnival, Audiotistic, Nocturnal...and of course Beyond Wonderland.

Oh man, I'm glad I'm not the only one! I hardly even like swimming pools. I DO like tiny cute little forest streams though...but nothing I can't see the bottom of, is 'rushing' or beyond like, knee deep. X3 eep! The ocean downright terrifies me. I like looking at it for a time, but not going too terribly close.

Oh...oh...oh my gosh. ohmygosh. OHMYGOSH! That is so awesome I have to stop myself from completely OHMYGOSHing over it excessively. BUT OHMYGOSH. *Loves Daft Punk almost as much as Ponies* Daft Pony. Best ever. Buxy you rock!!

Oh, no, I'm sorry! I should have clarified. This is a super spectacular mega awesome electronic music festival, aka rave. Featuring musical artists like Infected Mushroom, Noisia, Cosmic Gate, Dirtyphonics, and quite a few others. It IS Alice in Wonderland themed, and will have amazingly awesome light displays, costumed actors, dancers, wicked cool vendors, delicious eats, interactive art displays (with music and FIRE), and best of all....amazing music!

I know, I totally saw Kabuki and had the most amusing thought of Spooky dying himself orange... X3 And thanks! Awww, man, baby rats are the best! That is one thing I really liked about breeding, those little babies were so precious to watch them grow up, learn, and develop their personalities. ^_^ It's also interesting to see the genetics of breeding, but eh. Honestly, I'm glad I don't do it anymore, though I'm sure my ex still does. At least I was able to introduce her to better husbandry and genetic understanding, since I did tons of research about it when we met.. ANYHOOF. Tencho - your critter companions sound really interesting! I have a profound respect for African Grey parrots. I read about Alex years and years ago, and it really changed my opinion about birds, and animals in general. I mean, I've always loved animals, but I see them much differently than I used to when I was younger and they were just cute and fairly interesting. Now I see what amazingly complex beings they are.

Awwwww....so many darling sounding little critters! GeekyBones - your Kabuki is so cuuute! He actually...looks a lot like my big boy, Spooky. But...in orange! So cute. ^_^ Besides Spooky, whom I've had for ten years, I have a little black cat named Sora (I can't find any recent pictures of her. oop!) who is a little fluffball, and extremely vocal, and sweet, though she can be a bit skittish and random. Spooky is a very refined cat, a good judge of character, and secretly a cuddle bug with me at night. He oftens curls at the edge of my pillow and either touches my head/shoulder with one paw, or leans his head against mine. X3 I also have two dawgs, Ruger and his son, Westin, both pitbull/sharpei/rott mixes. I love 'em, even if Westin is a little rambunctious, and likes to chew things up. I got them both from my ex girlfriend after we broke up, because they kept breaking out of her yard after I moved out. Aahh. Long, sordid story. Still, I love 'em, and I'm glad they're with me. I also have....8 rats. c.c; Three boys - Hatsu Haru, Donnie Darko, and Fez. And five girls - Link, Navi, Rudy, Aang, and Waffles. I love my ratties. ^_^ My ex and I bred fancy rats while we were together, and all of my guys are from some of our first litters. Donnie, Fez, Link, and Navi are all littermates, Rudy shares their father, and Waffles and Hatsu are Aang's son and daughter. I don't breed anymore (I don't really like breeding for profit), but I love my little weirdos, and I'm glad to have them around.

Poor Japan! :C My roomate told me he had been having dreams about Earthquakes, and a particularly bad one last night. He didn't see it in the news until this morning (We don't have cable, so he looked it up on his phone)....eesh. My heart goes out to everypony in Japan...

Hey everypony! I think a few of us are in SoCal, so I couldn't help asking..... is anypony else attending the super spectacular partyriffic totally amazingly awesome stupendous Grand Galloping Ga- I mean.....BEYOND WONDERLAND 2011??? My roomies and I have had tickets since December, and now....it's only just over a week away! YAAAY. No amount of smiling ponies could convey my excitement for this event! My roomies and our friend are dressing up in Wonderland themed creature costumes. (Not fursuits, but we're going as Chesire Cat, March Hare, White Rabbit (me!), and Dormouse.) It's just too bad Pinkie Pie and Vinyl Scratch won't be there.... SO....anypony else going?? Raise your hooves.

Hello Holypony! The best tip I can offer anypony wanting to improve their RP skills, is to read other ponie's posts, and see what they are saying! Everypony plays in a different style, but it could inspire you to see what is included in an RP post, beyond 'My pony stands there shyly, then waves to everypony.' Maybe expand - don't be afraid to get really creative! I mean, don't write a novel per say, but try including some different things to elaborate on what your character is thinkin/feeling/doing. For instance - "Somepony stands in the background, shyly watching a group of ponies laughing and talking together. For a moment, he contemplates to himself and reasons back and forth. Should he say hello? Would he interrupt? Mustering up his courage, and puffing out his chest, he puts on his best smile and trots towards the other ponies. Without seeming rude, he waits for a lull in conversation, then brightly introduces himself! "Hi, My name is Somepony and I just arrived here in town! Could anypony tell me about this place?" I hope that helps. Either way, I'm sure you'll find a style that suits you!

Awww, your icon!! <333 Derpy is so awesome. Although there seems to be a high number of dudes here, I actually think it's pretty even. I didn't see many of us girls posting on 4Chan, Ponychan, or FiMChan, orrr....whatever. X3 So it's refreshing to have some gender equality here! It seems like such a nice place.

[ Pony Related Character ] Name: Sunburst Gender: female Age: Mare Species: Unicorn Pelt Color: Light Yellow Mane/Tail Color & Style: Rainbow colored, short and spiky/messy. Stands up along the back. Eye Color: Light Blue Cutie Mark: A 'flaring' or 'bursting' sun, sending out 'sparkles/stars', a heart in the middle. Physique: Slim, athletic pony. Though not very strong, she's a quick runner. She's rather on the short side. Residence: Originally from Whitetail Wood, though she's recently decided to pay an extended visit to Ponyville and the surrounding area for a change of pace. She set herself up a tiny cabin in Saddleveiw Plains, using her magic to help her. It's a tiny bit crude, but with windchimes out front and colorful suncatchers, it's cheerful and cozy. Occupation: Back in Whitetail Wood, Sunburst assisted her Mother, Feathers, a white and pink pegasus pony. Feathers ran a small jewelry boutique, where she made beautiful wrapped stone necklaces, earrings out of feathers, and gold dusted acorns, and other 'natural' things found in the abundant forest and carefully preserved and polished. Upon her move to Saddleveiw Plains, however, she struck out on her own to persue what she really loves: Creating beautiful paintings and crafts for other ponies, and thusly bringing a little bit of sunshine to everypony's life. She often wanders into Ponyville to sit with her easel and paints, and see what inspires her! Motivation: Sunburst got her cutie mark, because she loves to shine in other ponie's lives! She loves to cheer up her friends, and always tries to bring joy, laughter, and smiles. She has lots of energy, and often 'bursts' into action, hitting a full gallop within moments of standing perfectly still. Sunny also loves the sunshine, naturally! She loves spending hours outside, bird watching, painting, playing, hiking, camping, racing...you name it! If it's outside, she's there. One of Sunny's favorite things to do is lie quietly somewhere in the sun, and wait for little critters to come see her. Likes: Naps in the sun, her awesome friends, nature, the sun, little animals, sunbathing, having fun, reading, baking, vegetables, rainbows after storms, and beautiful sunny days! Dislikes: Meanies, spiders (she's a little scared of them, but won't kill them. Just...eek!), big scary lakes and oceans, loosing the people she loves. Particularly long storms also make her feel extremely gloomy, though she likes a little rain. Character Summary: Sunburst is overall, bright, chipper, cheerful, and always willing to help anypony out. Although she's generally outgoing and quick to laugh, she can also be extremely sensitive, and prone to fits of gloominess that are hard to shake. Sunburst doesn't have any one 'special talent', her magic focuses on mainly moving things around (and nothing too tremendous) - although she can produce a very strong light from her horn, and can change it's color on will. (This makes for good parties.) Sunburst is a little out there in how she sees the world, and knows that her special 'job' is to illuminate the lives of others, although this sometimes makes her feel 'outside' or different from many other ponies. Binky often rides around with Sunburst on her adventures, nestling into her mane to hide, or sitting between her ears to watch the world go by.

Lauren just got like, 20% cooler. She's SO awesome! What a smart and well-rounded individual - such a rare thing in the modern cartoon world.
