WARNING! THE FOLLOWING CONTENT IS VERY PICTURE HEAVY. THOSE ON MOBILE OR WITH A SLOW CONNECTION/COMPUTER STAY AWAY! So here it is, the moment you've all been waiting for, the big show, the main event, THE BUILD LOG! Let's start from the top: The gang's all here! What good is a bunch of computer parts if you have no case to put them in? The chassis is a Corsair C70 Vengeance in matte black. It's a mid-tower ATX case with a good feature set and an awesome aesthetic. It's kind of reminiscent of an ammo box or a military radio of some sort. I figured it was appropriate since I play mostly FPS games Interior of the case with DVD drive already installed. There were originally fans mounted to the drive cages, but I moved them forward into the front grille area of the chassis to improve GPU clearance and because I was going to pull one of the drive cages anyway. Pulled the top HDD cage to improve airflow. Laying out components and tools for next set of installs. Corsair H100i 240mm radiator with dual 120mm fans. I decided to install the H100i first because it required me to screw it into the chassis. I figured it would be easier to bolt it in first and then mount the pump block rather than mounting the pump block to the CPU+motherboard and then attempting to maneuver the most awkward set of nunchucks ever. AX860i installed and H100i temporarily routed to the back so I can handle other things. Are you ready to manage some cables? I am! Preliminary cable management. I've selected the necessary cables and routed them through the closest grommets. In hindsight I probably should have plugged in the cables first before routing them, but it worked out just as well. Maximus VII Hero. I would have gone with the Formula, but the Z97 version won't be releasing for a while longer and it would be $100 more. Performance-wise, the Hero is almost as good; but I still find I'm a sucker for that thermal armor. 4790K installed. I always get nervous when plugging in CPUs because it feels like I'm going to break them when latching the CPU lock. Motherboard installed and cables sort of routed. Still need to install the pump block and connect all appropriate headers. H100i pump block installed. What you didn't see was me messing up the installation because I thought I'd forgotten to remove a plastic cover that ended up not being there in the first place. Thankfully, I remembered to pick up an extra tube of thermal paste. Reseating was inconvenient, but in the end inconsequential. ATX power cables connected and GPU PCIE cables routed through the proper grommets. RAM DIMMs installed in dual-channel mode. Fan cables and front panel headers connected to motherboard. One thing I found pretty cool was that the Hero has all PWM fan headers. Only my radiator fans are PWM right now, but that might change in the future. (I've since added two more DIMMs, bringing my RAM total to 16GB of G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 @ 2133MHz - XMP is a beautiful thing) ARE YOU READY TO TEAR THE FACE OFF EVERY GAME EVER? GTX 780 IS! Bonus picture of girlfriend. GPU and wireless-AC card installed. Because of the layout of my house, I have to use wifi. I figured that since we have a wireless-AC router, I may as well go all out. Cable routing has been optimized a bit and SATA power and data cables have been routed to the drive cages in preparation for drive installation (at that point, I hadn't yanked my drives from my old rig yet). I am currently running a Samsung 840 EVO 256GB SSD and a WD Black 2TB mass storage drive. The complete package ready for a test drive! First boot! It's so beautiful... Now for some bling! Asus ROG front panel installed. It provides a fan controller hub and color LCD display for CPU clock speed, fan RPMs, and temps. It also looks super cool. Kind of reminds me of a military radio of some sort. Anyway, that's my new computer! Hope you guys enjoyed!

Afternoon all! For many who don't know what those letters stand for, they note the colors and inital letter of the four lead characters in the new webseries on it's rise to fame called RWBY (pronounced roo-bee). It's about four very different young women who want to fight evil to protect the world of Remnant from the evil of the world known as Grimm. They attend Beacon academy to become huntresses and pull together to become an unstoppable fighting force for hope and peace. I'd like to share this series with you all; the action, gradual character development and world are a treat. Though early eps are a bit of a climb, it's all about getting better as it goes. The weapons are probably some of the craziest to ever be built (grenade launcher hammers, shotgunchuck-staff) and the 3D animation is pretty cool. The trailers are a great primer, and also a great introduction to the score by the talented Jeff Williams and his daughter Casey Williams. Williams is also known for his work on popular webseries RVB (Red vs Blue), airing on Rooster Teeth (roosterteeth.com) What do you think? Who's your favorite character? Weapon? Character theme? A year and 19 days ago, I never thought I'd be doing something like this, but, here goes nothing... Post number[colour=#ff0000] [/colour][colour=#FF0000] [/colour][colour=#FF0000]2000! [/colour] Now I know what you may be thinking, and no, this thread isn't dedicated to my 2000th post, that would be both silly and self-centered of me considering people would see it as nothing all that special. However, I do consider it a big milestone for myself, it took me long enough and through more drama than I'd be willing to admit but I'm now at a Wonderbolt's level, which just puts a big old smile on my face But now that that's out of the way, I'll give the reason I made this thread in the first place. Canterlot is a magnificent place, it really is. I know my opinion isn't the most credible given this is my first forum but I'm sure most of you reading this can agree that this site is more than worth your time and your membership. I have way too many thanks I can give to this place that I can even remember them in one sitting, so I figured, hey, I'm sure other people have nice things to say about Canterlot...why not give them a place to do it. Way back when I first came on here I had 1)No knowledge of how the internet worked 2)No sense whatsoever (Still not sure on that last one though ) and Canterlot was a wonderful place for me to amend those issues, all the people I met (With some exceptions, you know who you are ) helped me along that road, and I don't regret any of it, even for a second. Ok for those who still dont know yet the new season of my little pony FiM is coming out in about more or less~21 days so November tenth...hmm i am not doing anything that day but watch my little pony and this is my plans: -set alarm for 9:30 -Wake up -Load up the site that linkhopper generously sent me(by the way if ur reading this did u email it to me?) -its 9:45 -Grab a bowl of cereal -its 9:55 -DONT eat the cereal until the livestream starts -Livestream starts -Shovel piles of cereal in your mouth to celebrate -Episode over -Go to canterlot -Discuss season three with brony friends -Make new meme related to season 3 -Become increadibly happy for the rest of your life -Profit?

About Myself: I'm the number one my little pony fan! Just for one because that's the most important aspect of me. Not really but I LOVE MLP! I also really love role playing and reading/writing. So yeahhhhhh.... I play four instruments and listen to every kind music except for blue grass and I can't wait to RP here!!!!! How I found Canterlot.com: I desperately wanted to role play as a pony.... So I looked it up! How I became a fan of MLP:FiM: My little sister started watching it and I became utterly 100% addicted to the wonderful thing that is my little pony. My favourite main cast pony/s: Twilight Sparkle,Pinkamina Diane Pie I'm so in love with my little pony it isn't funny. I love Shining Armor and his wife Cadence because they are so amazing. Except she can be really mean sometimes but still she is pretty awesome. I think every little thing about my little pony is perfect and wonderful. It's just oh so wonderful that I can be a part of this amazing roleplay.

Who would you like to have on the show for a guest character? I would like to see... Bruce Campbell: If someone had to play Rainbow Dash's dad, he'd be perfect...And maybe Lucy Lawless as her mom.. Phil Morris: Very busy actor for both voice and live action. Just check out his IMDB list. He's in a ton of stuff. And if you've ever watched TV, you've probably seen or heard him before. He's a major comic book geek appearing on just about every comic book show as of lately. During a rather slow day at work, I actually was able to stop and have a lengthy conversation with him and he was very cool. A guy you'd want to get stuck sitting next to in an airplane since he's lived such an interesting life. He's good at everything, but he's really good at playing mystic type characters. If they ever did a "Flashback" episode, he'd be perfect for "Star Swil The Bearded'. George Takei: Just a cool old dude. He's gonna be 75 years old tomorrow? Has also done a ton of voice work. He even did a voice-over for Hub recently. He'd be cool for anyone.. Anyone else have any favorites?

Well, I was sitting on the pier, bored all day, because the sea state at our port was rediculous. The bumpers between the ship and pier were rocking like crazy. Well, at first they refused to let us lower the boat so we could paint because of the sea state, but somehow, we managed to convince them otherwise. Well, upon getting in the boat, we realized just how crazy it was. Not only myself, but also my fellow punt crewman also fell into the nasty crapwater. Unfortunately, they made us take the boat out. After a short argument, my PO's decided that they weren't going to let us go back down. Without even thinking about it, I blurted out "Come on, BM1! One more try! I gotta know we gave it our all! If I'm goin down, I'm goin down painting!" Despite my epic RD quote, they still didn't let us drop the boat. v.v I felt awesome tho.

Oh gosh so I was just looking through all of the Pony videos that I could on YouTube and I saw one that said, I'll Make a Man Out of You. As we all know, this is from, Mulan!! Hello, best song in that whole movie! I was thinking I should share it soooo here it is for all y'all!! If anypony else has seen any awesome Disney song featured Ponie videos, sent them my way please!! I love Disney, old good Disney mind you, and I would love to talk to anyone who feels the same!!!

About myself.: Hello everypony, I'm Batman Skylite, and I'm new to Canterlot. Some of my interests include: Comics, Sports (Especially Hockey and Baseball!), Video games, Music, Movies (I'm a huge movie buff), and, last but not least, My Little Pony: Friendship is magic. I also LOVE acting, and hope to maybe make a career of it one day, but I need alot more experiance before I attempt that. I live in the Barren, icy wasteland that is Canada, in a close-minded town with a HUGE lack of bronies, (I'm like, the only one I know of ), but It's all good, because my two bestest friends in the whole wide world still love and and accept me. How did you hear about Canterlot.com?: From EQD. How did you became a fan of FiM?: I saw some of the memes on memebase, and I decided to check it out. Needless to say, I instantly fell in love, and have been a devoted brony ever since. My one favourite main cast pony?: Rainbow Dash Well, thats about it. I've been on here for about a week and I haven't gotten my application approved yet. What can I do besides chat? I want to be able to feel accepted, but I haven't yet, because almost everypony belongs to something fun or a group if they haven't gotten there application accepted. I need something to do, something that I can do to contribute to this site in some way. (PS, I can't donate yet, I don't have a credit card) I'm a pony that likes to do stuff, be assigned to tasks and carry them out. WHAT CAN I DOOOOO?? :wail: :wail:
