Roleplay Type: Generation 5 Cast Name: Zephyrina "Zipp" Storm Gender: Female Age: Young mare Species: Pegasus Eye color: Light blue Coat: White (Pink Hue); wings are white, light blue, purple and pink Mane/Tail: Pompadour mane, regular medium-length tail mostly straight, both mane and tail pink with light blue streak. Physique: Athletic, agile, strong, average height Residence: Originally from Queen Haven's palace, lives in the Crystal Brighthouse with her friends in Maretime Bay. Cutie Mark: Pink and blue lightning bolt with a crown. Unique Traits: Zipp sees everything through a skeptical lens. She seeks truth in many things, is loyal to what she believes is true, and her conviction is solidified by her personal experience. History: Zipp is the first born daughter of Queen Haven, current leader of Zephyr Heights. This makes Zipp a princess, and heir to the throne. She gained a little sister, Pipp Petals, who displays more of a celebrity role in the royal family. Zipp was and is far less in the limelight and aspired to do things beyond the confines of her royal roll in Zephyr Heights. While her and her sister were still young, Zipp enjoyed a relatively normal fillyhood, albeit with the privilege that comes with being a member of a royal family. Despite her personality differences with her sister, she had a bond with Pipp that was stronger than she normally shared in public. As she got older, Zipp's rebellious youthful phase pushed her to take the contrary path away from the rest of the members of her family. Queen Haven, to her credit, allowed Zipp the space to explore different avenues in order to give her the freedom to explore her true self, something Zipp is still doing to this day. As a result, Zipp's relationship with her mother is distanced at times, but never severed. Her bond with Pipp, while also never failing, has shown more tension as the two live together away from the pegasus capitol. Despite the rift that developed between Zipp and Pipp as a result of the royals being found to be flightless, their residence in Maretime Bay has become proof of the sisters' resilience to uphold the responsibility the have as the future leaders of the pegasus kind. After pony unification, Zipp and her sister made the choice to live in Maretime Bay, primarily because they wanted to be with their friends they made during the most altering time in their pony lives. Living at the Crystal Brighthouse, Zipp expanded her talents to investigate mysteries, learn about how friendships are made and challenged, and check the health and safety of pegasus ponies living in the bay city that are trying to get used to their new magic. Because of her physical ability and willingness to be flexible, she was able to help champion the training of pegasus ponies learning to hone their skills in flying. The source of magic, the unification crystals and friendship that powers it, is something that has fascinated Zipp ever since moving to Maretime Bay. Whenever something concerning the crystals is going on, she is usually the first one to notice. Today, Zipp is constantly learning about ponies and what makes them special in the new magical world they live in. She knows her place is in the pegasus city as a Princess and future Queen, but she wonders what more it will entail now that Equestria has unified ponies wielding magic. Personality: Zipp is sporty, but not cocky. Though she seems primed for athletic ability, she is not that competitive. She is loyal to those she cares about, but skeptical of new information. She doesn't trust others perspectives very well, and prefers to see things for herself. She can sometimes jump to conclusions and lacks patience to see things through. She enjoys being by herself, but acknowledges the importance of having good close friends she can trust. She would rather have ponies resent her for the truth, than for ponies to respect her for a lie. Summary: Princess Zipp Storm is an exciting young mare who is exploring the world living with ponies of different kinds, something the previous generation of pegasus ponies never did. While living with her close friends in Maretime Bay, she learns what it takes to be a representative of the power of friendship, and how to use her thrill-seeking attitude to improve the lives of the ponies around her. And if she gets to play detective while doing so, all the better!

Baltimare (Chelsea F.C.) Las Pegasus Glitz (San Jose Earthquakes...somewhat) Equestria National Team (Think of it as the team that would play in the World Cup, no parodies here!) Real Canterlot (Real Zaragoza) A.C. Hoofington (D.C. United) Trottingham United (Manchester United) Manehattan Red Hooves (New York Red Bulls) Quick terminology facts!: F.C. stands for Football club, A.F.C. stands for Athletic Football Club, A.C. stands for Athletic Club and "Real" was a term monarchs from Spain would give to clubs for being the best of the best (I figure since Equestria is a monarchy, it'd kinda make sense.) United is another term for football club. I have these separated if any soccer fans want to represent their favorite team in a ponified way. I'm also thinking of baseball teams such as the Canterlot White Hooves, or Baltimare Orange Tails. -

It will remain frozen unless heated up. By heated up I mean Pax remains the same by being secluded and unwavering of new ponies. The one's he knows he has already "melted" to. Being that he has established a great friendship with them. He is a cautions kind of stallion and only wants to best for his Fort. He always feels pressured since he was put in charge of a Fort and now looks over the lives of a few dozen. He is always frightful for he fears that he might make a wrong decision. He is a smart leader even for his age. He is a nice stallion once you get to know him. He keeps a tight connection over his sister even though she is older than him... He usually can be found speaking with his best friend Alba. Distinguishing features: Pax has a biotic front left leg. Due to an accident he usually keeps to himself has only told those who he is closest to. He has a bright orange coat with a dark maroon mane and tail. His mane is rather long and parts to one side of his face and covers his eye. It also reaches down rather long to his neck. His tail is leg length but doesn't get in the way. He wears standard Fort Snowpoint armor that is only worn by Snowpoint militia. Pax has colored the armor a light cyan and added a few things here and there. Fighting style: Pax isn't one for silence. But he does like to use a sniper rifle or any rifle. History: After being put in charge over the Fort Pax and his sister, Blue Frost, split up the roles and what each of them did. Both the brother and sister were younger than most of the settlers left at the Fort. Pax put himself in charge of establishing a military force at Snowpoint. It was quite hard for Pax to get the ponies to help him for most of them believed they should be in charge, It was until a certain friend that remains at the Fort to this day, a friend named Alba. That helped Pax start a small militia at the Fort. Alba was about the same age as Pax and he seems to do his own thing, but he calls Fort Snowpoint his home. It was Alba who gave Pax the title, "Fireheart". Blue frost put herself in charge of politics and maintaining order and supplying food for the inhabitants. She had a easy ride for no one wanted the job she had. But Blue took it on with pride and managed and still manages to do a great job to this day. Together the two planned on helping Snowpoint grow and prosper, but that idea was cut short by small skirmishes from attacking forces. Due to the attacks growth of Snowpoint has been put on a hold and out of fright Pax sent out a distress signal to anything that broadcasted. The message broadcasted a few days ago and Pax actually gave up hope on anypony coming. But he has declared that Fort Snowpoint will prevail. S - 5 P - 5 E - 9 C - 4 I - 5 A - 7 L - 5 Name: Blue Frost (Goes by Blizzy) Sex: Female Age: Young Mare Species: Unicorn Personality: Blue is a very happy go lucky mare. She likes to see the positives in life and help as many as she can. After being set in charge as the political leader Blue began to grow intellectually. She is a very smart mare and knows she is so she doesn't flaunt it. She is nice to those she thinks deserve it and has a tight connection with her brother. Distinguishing features: Blue has a light frosty blue coat with a dark blue mane and tail. Her mane is long and braided into a braid that hangs down. She has a large bow on the back of her head. Kurt Hectic never wanted to be a hero. He was content with his life- WAIT! Wrong story! ~~~ The air slows and the sky tints orange-pink with the imminent dusk that would soon sweep the small town of Ponyville. Shops and cafes ease in their business rates as the day grows tired and slower; at the same time introducing a sense of pure serenity that comes from the reminiscence of yet another beautiful day that progressed smoothly like any day in Equestria should be. During the said day, a recent arrival of the province goes about in a more excited manner than normal, as a bit of research in these past few weeks maybe just about to pay off! Unlike most packs seen on ponies that travel with multiple items, i.e. saddlebags, this black stallion bears a pack that is directly on his back. A rather thin pack that spans from the bottom of the back of his neck, to just before his mid-waist. The bag contents remaining unknown to those around him, and a rather strange detail of two strings dangling slightly from it down either side of him. Going about excitedly, he suddenly stops to think for a moment... Just where could he test this new design? Though just the idea of testing his new invention is enough to make him jittery again! All he needs is a high point, but not too high... though the mountainous peaks surrounding Ponyville are very tempting, he decides to use one of the local buildings that are reasonably tall. It'll only be a moment of his time, after all. It's not like he'd be loitering or hurting anyone. Then his target peak strikes his gaze in an instant, as he eyes the reasonably tall and very possibly climbable Sugarcube Corner. It should provide all the grab-holds and height he needs for this one test... Using what he's learned during his travels, he uses his momentum and darts toward a wall of the building whose part of the roof is lowest. His hooves spring him upward and he scales the wall to grab hold of the ledge of the roof. With great effort, and a grunt of power, he brings himself upward toward his objective height...

So, this is something I just decided to do on a whim. My roleplay character, Honeydew, is a reporter/journalist for a Manehattan tabloid I've decided to call The Daily Turnip. It just seemed like a fun idea to actually write some of what the articles in this tabloid look like. I think the format of the blog will go something like this: Maybe a few sample headlines for that day's newspaper. A Did You Know? tidbit involving a conspiracy theory. Honeydew's article for that day. And a horoscope section (OF COURSE!)... Of course, since this is Equestria, I'm thinking that the horoscopes would be something different. So, here's a reference guide: Aries (March 21-April 20) = Jackalope Taurus (April 21-May 21)= Ursa Gemini (May 22-June 21)= Hydra Cancer (June 22-July 22)= Spider Leo (July 23-August 21)= Manticore Virgo (August 22-September 23)= The Mare Libra (September 24-October 23)= Balance of Harmony Scorpio (October 24-November 22)= Cockatrice Sagitarrius (November 23-December 22)= Arrow Capricorn (December 23-January 20)= Chupacabra Aquarius (January 21-February 19)= Cloud Pisces (February 20-March 20)= Guppy In addition, I might have some of the articles associated with episodes from the series (I will put this in the tags, so be on the look out for that). Soooo I've had this idea on my mind for a while, and I wasn't sure where I should post it, so I'll try here if it's okay. I've been looking for Mane 6 ponies, especially Rarity, Fluttershy and Twilight, for an rp idea i had in mind. I have the post in mind, just...wanted to do a little interest check for another player or two. The girl I'm playing is about fifteen years of age, lives on a farm with her parents and older siblings, and ended up getting chased into a forest by bullies and ran through to the other side, and somehow ended up in Equestria(I'm kind of unsure of how to go about this, so suggestions are open!) And she's desperately trying to get back home, but needs the help of the ponies to do it. It wouldn't happen right away though, maybe not for a good, long while. A twist though, she's equinophobic. In other words, she's got a fear of horses and ponies, stemming from an incident that had happened when she was young. She's a shy, but hardworking character to begin with, however she just has that fear plaguing her. So in other words, she's probably going to be really timid and fearful of ponies at first, and I'm hoping to get somepony to play a mane six character, or, if not, then perhaps a background mare. OCs would be welcome too, I'm just looking for the mane six ponies the most. <: Thanks, and I hope it's okay that I post this, here.

It was the start of another day at the Equestria Orphanage, a large complex of buildings outside of Ponyville. The Orphanage houses a number of orphaned foals and younger ponies, giving them all a loving, caring home. The founder and guiding force of the orphanage is a hard working mare named Phoebe Piccafilly, affectionately known as "Nanny" to the young fillies and colts who live there: She oversees a large staff made up of mostly volunteers who come from all over Equestria to give their time and talents to help out with the care and education of the orphans under her supervision. Today, Piccafilly awaits the arrival of more volunteers as well as a few more orphan foals she heard are coming her way. "I hope they get here soon," Piccafilly said as the unicorn mare began pacing back and forth. "Julibee sent word that she's bringing three newly orphaned foals from Fillydelphia over this morning, I wonder how she will do this?" Glancing through a telescope at the road below, the red maned mare spotted a cart in the distance being pulled by two Pegasus ponies with a unicorn seated in the back. The petite white furred blonde mare and the elderly lime green stallion pulling the cart are Jubilee Flyer and Professor Clyde Krashkop respectively. In the cart with the foals is a lanky periwinkle colored unicorn with a stethoscope on her neck is Nurse Starflower. "Jubilee! Professor! Starflower! Good to see you all!" Piccafilly said as members of her staff rushed over to receive the foals from off the cart. "We came as soon as we could," Jubilee said as she unhitched herself, "glad to help out!" "Thank Celestia for your orphanage, Miss Piccafilly," Starflower said, using her levitation magic to float the baby foals down to the waiting staff members. "I already gave these three foals a preliminary examination, but Doctor Stable will be dropping by to have a look at them when he does the weekly clinic checkups on the rest of the orphans." "Und I am ready to teach in dee classroom today," Professor Krashkop said as he unhitched himself. "I vill talk to dem of elementary science!" "Oh yes, I heard about that, Professor, thank you. thank you all! Please come in for some light refreshments. I am hoping more volunteers will be coming today," Piccafilly said as she looked out upon the road to see if anypony else was coming.

Hello everypony! I am wondering if some kind of gameshow RP series would be a good idea..? It would most likely test your knowlege and/or memory on FIM events or locations in Equestria. I would also appreciate it if somepony came up with an awesome name and where it would be located. So what do you guys say, yay or nay? (I am probably gonna do it anyway but I just want some Idead for now!)

The rad sensor's counters were tipping off. The little hoofheld device's lights flared up, indicating warnings of extreme rad exposure for the next few hundred meters. Rad poisoning wasn't a pleasant experience and Keen didn't want to take any chances. She had experienced the pain and suffering it had caused firsthoof. She pointed the device into another direction and it gave the all clear. Sighing, she placed her rad sensor back into her saddlebag and began to trot into the new direction. A few fires were visible ahead. They weren't natural but somepony had lit them as it was lighted in metal barrels filled with wood and other debris. Perhaps somepony was here to light the way or just to keep warm. She cursed herself for not agreeing to buy the used pipbuck that one of the Earth Pony merchants found along the way. It would have proven useful in detecting life signs and movement in the ruins. The use of an "eyes forward sparkle" would have been helpful. Still, she had to make do with what she had. Her experience has taught her that this might be a trap setup by raiders. She cautiously moved along the rubble, silently trotting from cover to cover. From time to time she would stop and observe the surroundings. She had unbuttoned her shotgun's saddle holster in the event that things would get dirty. "CLANK!" A loud sound came from the ruined building to her left just a few meters away. In an instant, her horn flared light blue and the shotgun was blanketed in her magic as she levitated it in front of her, cocking it, ready to shoot. Her heart began to beat fast as her instincts for survival kicked in. She was expecting a raider to get the jump on her but the movement ceased. She moved in closer with the shotgun still levitating slightly in front of her and made her way to the rubble. Her eyes were wide expecting something or somepony to come out from it. "Hello? Anypony there?" She nervously asked. "Come out where I can see you. I won't hurt you if you won't hurt me." No answer. It was silent. Too silent for comfort. Still not satisfied, she moved around the rubble. Maybe somepony was stuck under it, or maybe this was just another trap setup by the raiders. Seeing that nothing was amiss, she let her guard down and levitated the shotgun back into her saddle holster. She gave out a sigh of relief. "SQUEEEK!" A huge rat jumped right out in front of her and ran across the street into another pile of rubble. She jumped and almost screamed at the surprise. When she realized it was one of those rad infected rats, she was relived and giggled to herself. She was amazed at how some creatures could still survive in this harsh environment It was getting dark and she had enough adventure for one day. She had no other reason to stay out here any longer now that she had found what her client was looking for. A rare and unopened bottle of Strawberry-flavored Sparke Cola. Apparently, her client was a collector and this was the last rare flavor that needed to be on the collection. She was tempted herself to open it as it sounded delicious, but then her client wouldn't be too happy. Tenpony Tower was a few minutes away, but she wasted no time to get there. The Tenpony Tower monorail station on the Celestia Line was the only way to get into the tower via its exit/entrance into the building. She had to get up into the line and make a mad dash into the building's entrance. She knew it was particularly safe at this time of day but she didn't want to take any chances of being caught by one of those Bloodwings that constantly flew the skies around the ruins. As she reached the gate, the guards greeted her and smiled. "So Ms. Keen, what trinket have you brought in today?" Asked a guard. "Oh its nothing much, just this rare bottle of Strawberry flavored Sparkle Cola." She said as she levitated the bottle out of her saddlebag showing it to the guard. "By Luna's mane, I just don't get why some ponies ask you to get such... useless things." "I don't know either but they paid a lot of bottlecaps for this." She levitated the bottle back into her saddlebag as the guards opened the gate. She was glad to be back home, and made her way to one of the working elevators and punched her floor. Her client wasn't due to come back in a few hours so she thought she'd have a nice long bath. She'd been out for almost half a day and all she wanted was food, bed and bottlecaps. She was feeling a bit nauseous though and figured that she suffered a bit of rad poisoning. She made a mental note to visit Dr. Helpinghoof to pick up some radaway later.

The Changeling Kingdom pretty much committed an act of war against Equestria in Canterlot Wedding. Something like that I don't think is going to be just forgotten anytime soon. Perhaps a major part of the background for season 3 could be a Cold War of sorts that is developing between the two nations as it did between the USA and USSR in the 20th century. As such, an intense rivalry begins between the two nations in which they attempt to one-up the other in various ways, including technology, sport, etc. This can cultivate into an episode based on the Olympics, but influenced by the intense rivalry between the Americans and Soviets at the Olympics during the Cold War era. This can also allow for more world building, showing different kinds of creatures competing, such as Griffins, zebras, etc. Not to forget, it would be happening in the same year as the London Olympics, so that's quite convenient. The episode can result in two competitors (RD would make a great candidate) from the countries actually coming to respect and possibly befriend each other, realising the other side is not as bad as they thought and how their rivalry is taking the fun out of the games. If you really think about it, this background and possible could best epitomise the 'love and tolerance' theme of the show. Because in the end, these two species learn to do that with each other when for the most part they were expected to actively hate each other. You guys know what I'm getting at, right?

Eye Color: Turquoise Cutie Mark: Quill writing in a book Physique: A bit smaller than the average stallion, and fairly skinny, but nonethelss healthy Origin: Manehattan Roleplay Type: Equestria/FiM Occupation: Writer Motivation: A love of artwork, in all its forms, though Likes: Writing, creativity, higher society, puns, wit Dislikes: Pugilism, brutishness, noise, censorships Character Summary: This pony is, by no means, a jack-of-all trades, nor a heavyweight in terms of magical ability or in body or a terribly strong one, but what he does, he does well, and what he does is write. Quillhorn has always been a fellow of creativity, though he has a reputation for being a bit eccentric. He is not an inventor, mind you, though he would suppose that he invents settings and ponies, albeit temporarily, in the minds of other ponies. His creativity lies solely in words and ideas based thereupon. He has a very strong habit of speaking in something akin to older English prose, though not so much as to be indecipherable or overly complicated - rather, he simply speaks in a manner slightly outside of the norm, using a bit of older english, and remaining fairly verbose. That aside, he is also liable to 'narrate' out loud as he considers something or begins doing something, though this is entirely on purpose and seldom done. In terms of magic, Quillhorn knows but a little magic, which he handles with pinpoint accuracy. He can create and shape rather small, translucent illusions, which he mostly uses for better-visualising what he's writing and as an aide when storytelling, and he is extremely good at fine motor co-ordination when holding things with magic, though his strength at such is a bit minimal, suited for quills, parchment, and books. As for his personality (ponyality?), Quillhorn is a fairly energetic pony in his own right, fairly enthusiastic while keeping his voice and his language well in check. He enjoys the company of other ponies, especially of those who have interesting stories to tell, or for that matter a desire to listen to interesting stories he's heard, read or written before. His favourite works are often fictional, though he finds accounts of real adventures to be much more fascinating. He is a fairly respectful pony, and a fairly respectable one in return. He has a bit of a love for jokes and puns, as well as witty turns of phrase. He`s a reasonably charitable pony otherwise, though the occupaion of scribe doesn't earn him a huge amount to be generous with. Still, he enjoys life, and will often do favours for another pony in need, simply because he believes in karma. He is happiest when those around him are happy and-or fascinated in what he has to say, which is the driving force behind his story-telling and his writing. As such, many of his stories have happy endings - he personally enjoys stories with twists, tragic endings, or perhaps no real sense of a heroic end, but realizes that these aren't as popular with younger audiences. Quillhorn was born in Manehattan, one of several siblings brought up by his parents - a reasonably well-to-do couple. His mother, an accountant and his father, a teller, his foalhood was fairly well off. Though he didn't really pick up on his parent's penchant for economics or mathematical skills, he did at least appreciate some of the stories of their clientele, though even the most interesting ponies one meets in a bank are all to often fairly mundane in the greater scheme of things. He did, however, pick up on their sense of grooming and fashion, and thus he keeps himself fairly presentable. His mane and tail receive plenty of care each morning, and though he would rather avoid getting either dirty or dishevveled, he accepts the idea if such must happen. The youth of this unicorn was spent, largely, exploring possibilities. Of course, his parents suggested mathematics and economics, but those he found much too dull for his liking. Magics and sciences, however, he followed for some time, but in spite of his efforts, he never really excelled at either, and though he found each interestingin its own right, he abandoned such notions as being more struggle than success, though he had managed to pick up magic to some small extent. But, those were not his passions. Though art tickled his fancy, and fashion was a way of Manehattan life, neither of those really caught Quillhorn's attention, either. Stories, however, did, and it was in these that he engrossed much of his time. At first, he simply read, but soon enough, he started to write stories. As soon as he had learned to read - learning at a fairly young age, at that - he started to surround himself with books. Guides, studies, papers, manifestos, biographies, but most of all, stories. Despite his love of stories, he hadn't actually considered that stories would be his vocation - after all, as far as he knew, nearly everyone could read and write, and nearly everypony enjoyed a good story. He didn't consider himself to love stories and writing more than anypony else. However, as he continued through foalhood, he realized that he did, in fact, read and write far more than other ponies of his class and age, and for that matter more than many mares and stallions did. It was through this that he decided to embrace love for such, and it was in this that he started enjoying literature fully. He began putting much more effort into writing than before, putting quil after quill to use. He wrote short stories at first, simple nursery rhymes and tales for young foals, much like himself, then pushing on to try and match the literature meant for cols and fillies, engrossing himself in the ideas of high adventure with parties of amusing adventurers. He began researching and asking more questions, to better undersand a range of ponies, and the motivations of those older than him. Soon enough, he was writing plays for his class, and upon the successful finish of his first play - The Tale of Ursa Minor - his cutiemark appeared, much to his own pride; he now knew that writing was to be his vocation, and he couln't have been happier with anything else. From there, he studied literature almost nonstop. His colt years were largely spent furthering his knowledge of the literary world, solitary, yet quite happy amongst his many written works. However, a writer is often not one who earns huge amounts, and as he got closer to becoming a full stallion, he ended up moving out of manehattan for cheaper residence, and a place where theatre still runs strong. He's still looking, though his 'freelance' work as a scribe, cartographer, playwright and editor leave him with enough to feed and house himself reasonably well. He has a fascination with exploration and adventure, at times when stronger, bolder companions are about, but otherwise keeps to the beaten path more often than not.
