  1. Name: Sandā "Raikō" Kumo Age: Mare Gender: Female Species: Pegasus Eye color: Her eyes are a sky blue in color. Coat: Her coat is a bright yellow. Mane/Tail: Both are mostly a darker gray, though they lighten into a regular gray at the tips. She lets them flow naturally, leaving some curls sticking out and the rest looking a bit shaggy almost. All in all, it almost gives the appearance of having just smoothed it down after an electric shock. Physique: Given her job, her intimidating stature comes at no surprise. She is taller than most ponies her age, with a muscular build gained from her fighting experience. Her left ear has a piece missing from it, and her body has various scars. Residence: Kyoma Occupation: Personal bodyguard to the Shogun (A.K.A. The Shïrudo) Cutie Mark: A dark gray storm cloud in the shape of a shield, with lightning arcing across it. She earned her mark while she was out exploring the country with some of her friends. They had found themselves in a forest when a beast arrived and scared them all into ending up on the edge of a cliff. She was a bit conflicted at first, unsure how to deal with this, but she eventually decided on a course of action and shot into action. She battled the beast, striking hard before flying out of its reach and then repeating the process until the beast was knocked out. After that, she landed again, and her friends pointed out her new cutie mark. Unique Traits: Sandā is an exceptional fighter, having honed her abilities over years of training and military service. Her primary weapon is a spear, though she usually carries a katana as well as a backup. When she took her position, she requested a special spear be made, and she eventually received it. In appearance, it is only an ornate spear, but it has the ability to fire off bolts of lightning by drawing in her natural weather magic and the static electricity around it. Given its means of charging, however, she uses this ability sparingly. It would only be useful once per battle anyways, assuming there were time to rest and prepare between battles. She wears a set of armor designed to intimidate her opponent with the visage of the thunder God raging. It is still functional armor as well, helping to protect her while still being light enough to not slow her down much at all. History: Growing up as the daughter of the Machi Bugyō has its ups and downs. One such upside was her family's lofty position in society, another her frequent visits to the palace. Speaking of those visits, it was during one of them that she met Ryuichi for the first time. She wouldn't really get to know him until after they had both earned their cutie marks, however. They played together, sure, but that was about it at first. The most glaring downside was that his position came with its dangers. They were a family of fighters though, and she had been learning to fight from practically the moment she was deemed old enough. Due to this constant drilling and practice over the years, it became one of the few areas where her indecisive nature never came into play. When they weren't training, her family was like every other one, loving and supportive of each other to the end. After she had earned her cutie mark, she knew what she wanted to do and she worked even harder at her training and her exercises. She also noticed that Ryuichi had his mark as well and was spending more time outside the palace. As a result, she found herself building a friendship with him and getting to know him better. Eventually, they both went into their military service, though unlike him she was sent to fight in battles, partly from her own request. She spent her service protecting her country and her friends with actions that earned her the nickname they gave her. She would strike at the enemy with such suddenness and ferocity they described it like watching her opponent be struck by lightning. This style also got her into plenty of trouble, earning her her various scars and taking the piece of her ear. In any case, she kept the nickname as she eventually returned home, happy with the pride her father held for her and her service. Her days were much quieter after that, going back to the way things had been before she left, and she got to meet up with Ryuichi once again. One day, she found her father packing for a trip to Dosanko on Machi Bugyō business. Little did she know that that would be the last time anyone would see him or the shogun alive. Sandā was devastated when she heard the news, going into grief with her mother. She wanted to find Ryuichi so they could help each other through this, but he had disappeared. By the time he reemerged and took his place as the new shogun, she had grieved to the point of almost getting past it. At least to the point of being able to go back to her life. She had gone to the palace again to collect what her father had left behind, imagine her surprise when not only had Ryuichi returned, but the remaining shogunate had named her the Shïrudo. Seeing him only worsened things on that front, but instead of blaming him and pushing him away she became his Shïrudo to protect him and so they could help each other as they went on with their lives. Personality: She is a fiercely protective individual, willing to put herself in any danger to spare her friends from the same danger. The decision to protect her friends is about the only decision that comes easily to her. She has troubles making other decisions, especially major ones though something as trivial as what to eat could become an internal debate. These internal debates can leave her agitated, like a storm cloud before it goes off. When she does make a decision though, she sticks to it and sees it out with the suddenness and single-mindedness of a lightning bolt. She is by no means shy, she simply has some trouble making decisions at times. Due to the seriousness of her job, she is always on high alert whenever someone besides her and the shogun are in the room, always searching for any trouble that may arise. She rarely speaks in these scenarios, usually only when she is addressed directly or indirectly. When she's not on the job or she's alone with the shogun, she tends to be more relaxed, easily laughing and teasing her friends. She likes to spend time with her friends, playing games or simply talking. Summary: An indecisive mare with a very important job, she gives her all to protect others without hesitation. She will make her way through this life the only way she knows how, as a wall between her friends and danger.
  2. A smug pony from Saddle Arabia. A scholar that likes to know everything to be a know it all. Scared of performing in front of others, typically displaying in a way to cover up perceived weaknesses.

  3. From the album: Requests, Gifts, Commissions

The second runner up in my Guess the Pet Owner game - or maybe tied for first runner-up? I think Firefoxx and Dubstep might have gotten the same number of guesses. In any case, here's Skyhaven with her pet snowy owl. They make a pretty attractive pair! Skyhaven (c) FireFoxx
  4. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Silent Dusk Sex: Female Age: Mare Species: Pegasus Eye colour: Golden Coat: Ebony Black Mane/Tail: Dark Indigo in color and styled in a sleek fashion and wearing a small red ribbon at the base of her tail Physique: Lean somewhat tough physique, she's a scrapper and knows her way in a skirmish Residence: Dusk lives in Ponyville but was born in Hollow Shades Occupation: Royal Guard Scout Cutie Mark: A dagger overlaying a mask, Dusk received her cutie mark on a particulary fun hide and seek game where she discovered that hiding herself and jumping others from the shadows was something she was quite good at, thus the rump flashed and there was her tattoo for life. Unique Traits: Being raised in Hollow Shades, Silent Dusk has many mannerisms of an Aerion seeing as she was raised among them and her own father was one. She's a natural talent with wing blades having exercised with them from a young age which helped her develop the skill to handle them smoothly over the years. yet one of her lesser quirks would be that she has a rather serious fear for Celestia. History: Silent Dusk was born in the secluded village of Hollow Shades to an Aerion stallion (Ebony Nightheart) and a Pegasus mother (Cyan Lily) and remained a single foal. Growing up in the village the filly had always admired the ponies that kept the village safe, and thus asked her mother permission to enroll in the local Scout Training Program and as such went there every single day after school, as she grew up she finished her education and scout training with very acceptable grades and joined the official village Scouts. During one of her scouting assignments the mare was waylaid by a group of less savory ponies and only got away without too much injury thanks to three ponies that jumped to her aid. One of these ponies was a pegasus raised in Saddle Arabia whom she has spent her time with ever since even though the two others had gone their own ways. She followed her by then special somepony to the small village of Ponyville on the stallion's quest for knowledge and as of this day the two of them have lived there in a home they purchased together. while she goes back to visit her parents atleast once every three months. Character Personality: Silent Dusk has a fierce personality but cares deeply for those she loves or trusts, she's not one to trust others easily and can at times come over as snarky or disgruntled without really meaning it. This mare hates being alone though and actively seeks out the attention of those in her inner circle whenever possible, that is when she wasn't indulging in sunbathing snoozing on a roof somewhere. Character Summary: All in all Dusk is a dependable strong pegasus with a natural agility to match, sure she draws hostile conclusions a little too quickly now and then but quickly settles down when she is shown that she is wrong. She will almost always listen to higher ranking authority figures and even if she fears Celestia she is loyal to her as much as she is to Luna.
  5. From the album: Request/trades/gift art

I was a little worried since light colors are a bit more difficult for me to work with, but I think I managed pretty well. I left more of the original sketch than usual so there's more definition in the white areas. As a result it's got a sketchier look but I think it's pretty cool that way. His tail looks way longer than it actually is because I attempted to give everything a more dynamic appearance to better illustrate the future savior of Equestria.
  6. Zeig

    The Lauded Avenger

    From the album: OC Art

Three characters of mine are participating in the Grand Galloping Gala, so of course they all needed outfits, the third of which was a conceptualization of Dawnguard's formal outfit. This would have actually been my favorite outfit if I had come up with it by myself. It is, in fact, a variation on Owain's outfit, a character from Fire Emblem: Awakening of whom Dawngaurd is based off of. I was planning on drawing him in a tux or more traditional formal outfit, but really felt that a modern outfit wouldn't fit Dawnguard's dramatic and theatrical personality. Which is when I turned to the character he's based off of, tried to fit the outfit to a pony's body, and played around with colors. The end result looks pretty good, if I do say so myself. I've certainly received more compliments about Dawnguard than my other two characters, at least!
  7. From the album: Request/trades/gift art

And here is the first "painting" from the Peachy's Portraits thread! I have to admit, I was getting pretty worried during the early part of drawing this. However, I'm really happy with how it ultimately turned out so yay! The adorable Wind Walker belongs to tacobob. Edit: I cropped the background because I think it looks better this way.
  8. Name: Rainbow Dash Sex: Female Age: Young Mare Species: Pegasus Eye Color: Purple Coat Color: Sky Blue Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Dash's mane and tail are her namesake, being all the colors of the rainbow. Her mane is notably less volumous and also shorter many mares. Both her mane and tail are slightly crooked and spiky from cutting them herself. Physique: Strong, Fast, despite some calling her "lazy" she is in peak physical condition as one of if not the fastest pegasus in equestria. Cutie Mark: White Cloud, outlined in blue with a Rainbow Lightning Bolt Origin/Residence: Born in cloudsdale, However currently lives in Ponyville. Occupation: Wonderbolt Unique Traits: -Rainbow mane/tail (While there are some ponies with a partial-rainbow, such as Celestia, Dash is the only pony widely-known to have a 'full spectrum' mane/tail except her father, making some think it may be specific to her bloodline) -Speed (Dash has demonstrated time and time again that she is one of the fastest ponies in all of Equestria) -Agility (sometimes - While Dash often lives up to her nickname of "Rainbow Crash" when she can focus and keep her mind on what she's doing she can perform amazing agility stunts, such as dodging Quarrey Eels. Character Summary: If you were to ask Dash to describe herself, she would sum it up as "I'm the most awesome pegasus in Equestria!" While there is some merit to this, there is far more to her than just "being awesome." Rainbow likes to speak her mind and she never sugar-coats anything, if she thinks your doing something stupid she'll tell you in no uncertain terms. However, once you get past her often callous attitude, you'll find a very kind mare who is always there for her friends or anypony in need, even if it means giving up on her dreams --- her friends are THAT important to her. Character History: It was a stormy night when two ponies received the gift of the most beautiful rainbow they had ever seen - their daughter. Rainbow Dash had a rather nice, if average, foalhood (likely the first thing that pushed her to always do her best and why today she lives in a veritable mansion in ponyville). Sadly it was not long after that her father became the primary influence in her life. He always did the best for his daughter, spending as much time with her as he could, taking her to sporting events and races, seeing her enthusiasm, he bought Dash her first pair of flight goggles before she ever learned to get off the clouds. He also enrolled her in flight-camp every summer, which quickly became one of the highlights of her life. Despite her seeming lack of aptitude for landings (or even flying straight at times), which earned her the nickname of "Rainbow Crash" --- a nickname that sadly fits to this day, though it has always been less due to a lack of skill than due to a lack of attention to what she was doing --- flight camp was where she made her first friends and had her first encounter with bullies. Both of these forever would shape her life as she learned "The Deffinition of Cool" from her friend Guilda, and later, learned about true kindness from her friend Fluttershy. These two revelations came at a high cost, though, as Dash let her 'coolness' go to her head, she began bordering on being a bully. It was Fluttershy's kindness to one of Dash's 'victims' and her explanation of how it was not cool to push ponies around that made dash realize the error of what she was doing (though it did not completely cure her of being a bit of a plothole at times). Unfortunately, her greatest achievement of her foalhood came with a dose of absolute horror as she defended her closest friend's honor from the camp's real bullies. Ponies had cheered Dash's rainboom and the counselors even overlooked the damage to the grounds and poor treatment of the bullies, but none of this meant anything when she found Fluttershy was nowhere to be found. Completely disregarding both the camp's rules and her father's own warnings she flew down to the ground, hunting long into the night for her friend, only finding a single feather, thinking that Fluttershy had paid the ultimate price for dash's shenanigans. It was the next day after silently crying herself to sleep the night before (hiding her muzzle as deep into her pillow as she could so not a single sound escaped of her breakdown) she went to breakfast with bloodshot eyes and found out that the counselors had gone down again that morning and found Fluttershy. Since then the two have been as close as sisters, and Fluttershy was one of the few ponies dash would allow her 'mask' of ego and bravado to slip around, showing her softer, more tender side. As the two got older, Fluttershy moved to Ponyville due to her fear of heights, but they kept close by writing letters often. Fame was a double-edged sword for Rainbow, at first it boosted her ego and made her feel more special (and made her even more crazy with her 'stunts' she came up with, though thankfully being a filly most were either relatively safe or were too far out of her reach). However, as she got older and didn’t do another rainboom, ponies started dismissing it as a rumor and claiming Dash had made it up, the bullies were all too eager to feed into this, and while Rainbow never reached the point of infamy, the rumors were starting to wear on her. Her father, seeing that she was starting to face more and more trouble, arranged for a place in Ponyville near where her friend lived and as a birthday gift presented Dash with a first-class ticket on an airship to Ponyville. While it was sad to leave home, and in a rare moment for the mare, tears were shed, Rainbow knew she needed a change and accepted it. Once there she found work with the town's weather crew and, as she would say "The rest is history!" While Dash's life was always somewhat exciting, it was the arrival of Twilight Sparkle that made the mare's world turn completely upside down. She was put through many trials, proving time and time again that she would always be loyal to her friends (even when her dreams were on the line) and with their influence she even began toning down her plothole tendencies and gaining some maturity (highlighted by her time at the Wonderbolts academy where she was paired with a pony who Dash would later say "...was a lot like me - the old me, before I learned what friendship was really about! Hey! Stop getting all mushy on me!") This maturity also made her finally realize the importance of a certain filly to her. Being able to protect Scootaloo and help calm her fears, earned Rainbow the title of 'sister' to Scootaloo, which, while it probably meant more to the filly than the mare, filled a special place in Dash's heart that she didn’t even realize was empty until then. While multiple encounters with her idols in less than ideal circumstances would have left other ponies disillusioned, Rainbow continues her pursuit of her dreams, though perhaps with a little more realistic view of them... (in fact she has though sheer coincidence been imparting more and more morals upon the team, and no doubt will one day be all the more proud when they offer her a position). From the album: MLP Characters

I was pretty bored today and wanted to draw something, and after re-watching "The Best Night Ever" from season 1, I decided to try drawing the butterfly gal. Fluttershy is my least favorite of the main six characters, but there's something about the curls in her done-up GGG mane that I really like. That, and her psychotic break in that episode still cracks me up. Fluttershy (c) Hasbro
  10. Name: Fringe Trotter Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Pegasus Eye colour: Green Coat: Pale red Mane/Tail: Black Physique: Toned, lean. Normal Wing span. White tips on the feathers. Residence: N/A Transient Occupation: Weather pony for hire. Cutie Mark: A Tornado. Fringe was gifted with a leaner body than most pegasi. This enabled him to fly a bit faster and turn tighter. This lead to him discovering his talent at a young age for the creation and control of rampant weather events like tornadoes. It was during a routine rain creation that a couple of other pegasi in training were goofing off. One got the brilliant idea to create a small tornado. Littler more than a typical dust devil to begin with. The situation soon devolved into chaos as the pony could not yet control such things. Fringe was one of the few that volunteered to counter this threat. When all but a few others turned away, he flew head long into the winds and managed to stay with the twister. Managing to turn it aside from any ponies and structures with the help of a few adult ponies, they kept it contained until it petered out in some empty woodlands. He gained his cutie mark and realized his calling that day. To combat out of control weather. However, due to the fact that most weather is relatively controlled, he is restless. Always traveling from place to place, providing the usual pegasi services until need of his unique talents arise. Unique Traits: Fringe is a light weight pegasus. His lean body tone prevents him from managing heavy loads, However he can, flight further, faster and harder than the standard pegasus. High energy, but a laid back attitude until called upon. History: Fringe is an only child. Having wandered so much, he barely known what the word home means anymore. He is comfortable sleeping on any patch of cloud he can find, and doesn't mind the weather, even in the cold of winter. His natural love of the out doors began at a very young age. In his flight school training he excelled. As he grew older, he took odd jobs with the weather teams. Usually just clean up duty. Things that most of the seasoned ponies would rather not deal with. moving extra clouds away from the flight paths and the like. When he gained his cutie mark, Fringe set out to help all ponies form rampant weather. However he soon realized that he was not going to be of much good just staying in one place. Weather was everywhere. And so he packed a small bag and took to the air. He flew where ever the air currents would take him. His travels took him from his birthplace in Las Pegasus, to Canterlot and beyond. He has come to realize that his talent for controlling what is normally dangerous weather is usually not needed as most weather teams are well trained and skilled enough to handle such things. Fringe began traveling more when he realized that he was just one pegasus among many that could handle weather. Though cheerful and happy to lend a hoof to any weather team that needs an extra, he is a bit sad inside that there is little need of his personal talent. He had, at one time considered joining the Wonderbolts. But his lack of any actual training and discipline made him think he was unfit. He had pondered the existence of a group that would need his talent, but had not heard of one in his long travels. Character Personality: Outwardly happy and cheerful. Wiling and able to help any pony he can, and works for coin when he needs too. Inwardly, sad and lonely. few friends and little need of his talent have left him feeling unfulfilled. While Fringe Trotter Enjoys taking things easy sometimes, he finds it hard to really connect with the world. In much of his down time between jobs, he busies his mind with a focus on nature. He enjoys slow flights under the tree canopies and over open fields of grassland. Taking in the scenery and enjoying the peace of it all. The peace he desires to protect. He is high energy, but able to control that and enjoy the simpler things. While on the ground, he likes to tour towns and see the sights they have. Talking to ponies and finding out about the culture of the places he visits. Character Summary: Traveling pony, weather worker for hire. Fringe is an outwardly happy pony that is always wiling to lend a hoof. Helping to control rampant weather events when the need arises, but willing to settle for moving clouds around when asked too. A light weight pegasus that can and will fly fast and hard. Well accustomed to the changes of culture in each area, he adapts easily and tries to understand the local dialect. Often travels alone. Well traveled and always looking for fun in town, he is up for any adventure in the culture of the area. Be that the lands of the Mustangs, or the quiet art gallerias of Canterlot.

  13. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Khamsa "Fiver" Alrriah (Translation: Five Winds) Sex: Female Age: Adult Mare Species: Pegasus of Saddle Arabian descent Eye Color: Dark Brown Coat: Pale khaki Mane/Tail: Mane is a pale strawberry blonde bobcut. Her tail matches it in the same manner Physique: Khamsa has a build that reflects both her exceptional speed and strength. Her lineage is reflected in her slightly above average height and a sturdy frame. Residence: Cloudsdale Occupation: Mid Ranking officer in the Wonderbolts, trick flyer, and REA officer. Cutie mark: five swirls remiscent of winds... much like her namesake Khamsa spent most of her life training to become a great flyer to be talked about around the world. Everyday she practiced hard, usually passing out after working herself too hard. Even though she was absolutely sure that flying was going to be what her destiny involved, her constant practice didn't effect her lack of a mark at all. Frustrating was an understatement, it was practically maddening. Her luck changed one day on a field to the flight history museum when she'd woken up late. She'd been waiting for this trip for weeks, counting the days until it arrived... and now she was gonna miss it because of a faulty alarm clock?! Not this filly. In hindsight she could have sworn that time had slowed down and she bolted out her window and bolted for the train-station a few seconds after the engine fired up and clung to the window and huffing rapidly once somepony opened up the window and let her in. Once She was inside it was pointed to her she now bore five swirls upon her flank, a sight that made her bounce around the cab with glee... until the ticket taker asked for her ticket and that was another story altogether. History: Khamsa was the fifth child in a fairly large family that comes the combination of a horse of Saddle Arabia and a pegasus of Equestria. The story of how she got her name was when she responded to a joke from her father that at this rate they may have to number their foals soon and she was the fifth, she laughed at the word and soon it was decided that Khamsa would be her name. Since she was young, Khamsa proved to be something of a slacker, she ditched school fairly often and seemed fond of doing her own thing. The group would go one way, she'd got the other. There were some things she was willing to shirk her lazy streak for and that was flying; much of the time she took in regards to cutting school was used to work on her various exercises for her wings. The classes she didn't skip usually consisted of History classes and a bit of art class(even if she was terrible). One of the bigger influences in her life was her big brother, Khamsin. He was the one who got her even mildly interested in comics as well as martial arts. He even helped plan the training regimen she followed everyday to get as fast and agile as she is. Once she'd gotten her mark she took to her flying training with gusto and joined the wonderbolt academy. The young mare had shown remarkable talent in regards to her speed and endurance but seemed to have some trouble with weather manipulation. Khamsa had proven to be a hard worker and a team player, often willing to go out of her way to assist other cadets in whatever way she could while training herself to her limits and beyond. Eventually all her work wound up paying off and her skill earned her a high ranking position on the Wonderbolts. Currently she works just below Spitfire and the two have often raced against one another with Khamsa winning out the majority of times. After she achieved her goal she realized that she wasn't really sure where to go from here. She hadn't given much thought as to what happened after her achievements had been recognized. She'd earned a position on the wonderbolt team, had graduated the academy, was considered one of the fastest flyers in the land and somehow she couldn't help but feel she'd hit her peak. The Mare eventually figured a way that would help her deal with that in a positive way; She'd encourage other academy goers and help them train so they could one day surpass her... and then she could surpass them and then repeat the process. Although she didn't do this in the typical way of being an instructor or the like, instead she seemed more fond of pretending to be a student at the academy and befriending those new recruits, usually acting as a cheerleader of sorts for them while just going by a nickname only her fellow Wonderbolts have been calling her; Fiver. (interactions with Spitfire approved by Rainbowpony) Character Personality: Khamsa is many things, she's hard working in regards to her goals and desiring to be the best while also hoping to inspire others to surpass her. Since she's proven to already a talented and incredibly fast flyer she hasn't been as openly enthusiastic as she had been in her youth. Her tone is best described as a "chilled enthusiasm", Her love of flight and tricks in the sky has not faltered but the enjoyment she felt in getting to the top has dulled greatly, something she hopes to remedy. Despite her desire to find somepony who can outclass her in her current form she often finds herself holding back or slowing down when she thinks that it would be better for a cadet or trainee to have a win under his or her belt. She often wonders how long it's been since she's actually gone all out against another flyer. Despite her athletic prowess, Khamsa is hardly the type of officer you'd expect in a top class flying squad. She speaks calmly and rarely raises her voice, likes comic books and even terrible, cheesy humor; so much so that the even the cheesiest puns can effectively immobilize her as she tries to keep herself from laughing. She also seems strangely determined to paint an image of herself as "That lazy officer" or the "A slacker" for reasons that she keeps mostly to herself and may only be able to be understood by herself as well. The things that Khamsa despises would be individuals who openly mock and step on those who work hard, or creatures that tend to brag about their pedigree or family line as if that itself makes for a good person. Bad sportsmareship is also an easy way to earn her anger or disapproval, but worst of all in her book is stomping on the dreams of others who aspire to better themselves for any reason. Character Summary: Khamsa casts an image of a lazy wonderbolt who doesn't care about her job at least at first glance, her performances in many exercises, sky races and other categories prove that she is a great flyer and a notable talent who does indeed work hard to be the best at what she does. Despite this she has a habit of slacking of putting off things until the last moment and usually somehow succeeding at least in regards to paperwork and other less "thrilling" aspects of her job. When pushed to actually give her all in a race or in any situation she is able to make it abundantly clear why she is a wonderbolt despite her outward manner. When not being watched and out on her own ponies can find her doing an insanely intense regimen that has encouraged her incredible speed and endurance. While she is a great flyer and trick pony she is not good with weather manipulation and has to put considerably more concentration and can exhaust herself faster than she ever could while flying by trying to clear up a sky for an entire day... but oddly enough it doesn't stop her from trying to help out in such a scenario every once in a while. Khamsa is usually an affable if somewhat sarcastic and cheesy joke making mare who seems happy to enjoy every moment in life.

Flax often explores Equestria, looking for rare plants to study and sometimes take back his plant/tree sanctuary. Though in this case he seems to be admiring/talking to a pretty common flower. This was kind of an older picture I didn't finish until recently, but it still holds up pretty well I've been pretty eager to Rp him and Vesper but I think I'm already at my limit of threads for now. I'm gonna Rp these guys as soon as I can handle another thread though. Edit: Removed background cause I think it looks better for some reason.

    From the album: OC Art

I know I said five characters is a lot, but…yeah, pretty sure I'm going to be apping this little guy soon. Because everyone needs a foal/child on their character roster, right? Currently unnamed, though I've made a few overtures towards his personality. If there's anyone who's looking to have a colt in their pony family, let me know. More fun to add him to an existing family than app his entire family from scratch, methinks.

  17. Name: Cyclone Guard Sex: Female Age: Middle aged mare Species: Pegasus Eye colour: Blue Coat: Polished gold Mane/Tail: Chestnut brown, medium length - mane is tied at the back. Physique: Sturdy, tall and strong. Appearance concept - Civilian Appearance concept - Uniform Cutie Mark: A shield with a blue glow and central 'sparkle' Cutie Mark Concept Residence: Cloudsdale Occupation: Sergeant Major of the Royal Guard (reference guide) Unique Traits: Cyclone is a mare of action. She is tough and nimble, a whirlwhind of steel with a blade, and a force to be reckoned with in hoof-to-hoof brawling. Training is a ritual; cardio, strength, running, flying and sparring, and she plays a bit of sports when she has the time. She is experienced with protecting the populace, keeping the peace and upholding the Equestrian law, and has a working knowledge of weather magic, first aid, martial tactics and strong leadership. History: It was always Cyclone's dream to 'protect and serve’. Although she would never say she's getting on in years, she has clung to that dream for a decent while now. Her bloodline is proudly connected with the REG, her father and several generations before him included, but it is not quite expected tradition as there are the fair share of weatherponies, businessponies and anything else in the family. Born in Cloudsdale to a pegasi couple, Cyclone's father was a guard like her, and her mother was a weatherpony. She was a very competitive filly in school but grew out of it in adolescence. She acquired her cutie mark when she took a stand against a case of bullying that weighed down on a poor gloomy colt, who then became her friend. She realised how important it was to support and defend the ponies around her, be they friends or strangers, and she felt she was gifted to do this. Since then, she knew exactly what she wanted to do and enlisted as soon as she was old enough. When they had grown, she and the colt began dating. His name was Tempest Fletch. He was a gentleman and a joker, and the relationship became serious and committed. As adults they decided to be engaged. They had the twins after their marriage; Storm Scout and Spark Spinner, pegasus and unicorn. For a good while everything went swimmingly. It didn't last. Eventually, a careless slip unravelled an ongoing string of unsolvable high profile thefts - the perpetrator was none other than Tempest. At this revelation, Cyclone couldn't reconcile her duty as a guardian with his harmful behaviour. Perhaps he felt the world had wronged him, perhaps he was just greedy; she never cared to hear his reasoning. To her, it was as if a mask had crumbled, and behind it stood an unfamiliar scoundrel. Unable to persuade her, he fled when she declared him her nemesis. Cyclone was bitter for a time at the betrayal she was dealt, but determination pulled her through in one piece, and with her children she was not alone. She maintains a close relationship with and keeps tabs on her son and daughter, who have grown up and moved out to lead their own lives. She is now in a good place in life, able to fulfil her dream and confident in her independence. She hopes to see her children succeed, to continue to succeed in her own career, and to keep the citizens of Equestria safe and happy. Character Personality: Cyclone is a natural leader, morally guided by honour and duty. Though she is a Royal Guard, a favourite hobby of hers is to while away the spare time down at the local pub, even getting into fights so long as it's all in good fun. She is very honest, perhaps blunt, and will plainly say what she thinks and how she feels. She's a sporty, headstrong, short-tempered tomcolt with a lot of moxie, but she takes her job very seriously and can be formal when the occasion demands it. She makes a very loyal friend and would fiercely protect her mates should they ever need it. Character Summary: Bold and tough pegasus guard. Fierce, staunch, with a strong sense of honour.

  19. Reposting this from before the system reset. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Spearmint Sex: Female Age: Mare Species: Pegasus Eye colour: Clear blue Coat: Icy blue Mane/Tail: Both Spearmint's mane and tail are two-colored - a pale green on the outside, yet the central section is a wintry green. While Spearmint's tail is downright average in style (straight, yet somewhat long), her mane is styled heavily in the front, into three locks, two of them a paler green on the outside, yet the center, larger one is the wintry green one. The remainder of her mane, as well-kept as her tail - reaches to the base of her neck. Physique: Spearmint isn't much for physical strength, instead preferring to focus on her gift as a Pegasus - wings, and flight. As such, the somewhat small Pegasus is an accomplished flier, preferring speed over precision - yet she's no slouch in precision. Endurance-wise, Spearmint is not the type of Pegasus to fly for days - but she can hold her own. Residence: Ponyville Occupation: Winter Weatherpony Cutie Mark: A series of seven windswept snowflakes, Spearmint earned the Cutie Mark on a wintry trip to the Vysokii district, in Stalliongrad. Her love of winter was rarely brighter than that day, one of the coldest Stalliongrad had seen that year - however, when it came time to leave the forested trail and return to the hotel, Spearmint would wander off the beaten path willingly - to plow through a nearby snowbank or two - only to lose her way with the snowfall. But her love of winter and the cold caused few problems for Spearmint, managing to find her way back to the cabin where her parents were staying - and the surprise in seeing the Mark she had earned in the trip itself... few things were as surprising as that, both for Spearmint and her parents. Unique Traits: Spearmint constantly wears a pink scarf and matching hoofmittens. History: Born to Snow Squall and White Ice in Cloudsdale, as a filly, Spearmint was never the straight-A student her mother wanted her to be, nor was she the aspiring weatherpony her father wished she would be. In fact, Spearmint would more often than not saying that she would never be a weatherpony - instead preferring to focus on what she wanted to be - a racer. She would be forced to study by Snow Squall on more than one occasion, though, and while Spearmint is grateful for this today - she'll also mention that not being able to focus on her racing career is what prevented her from truly reaching elite status as a racing pony. Nonetheless, Spearmint performed quite well in races and won her share of them. However, the factor that stopped Spearmint's dreams cold wasn't her studies, but rather, her weather preference. Always preferring the wintry weather, Spearmint always seemed to be better, happier, and even more confident in the winter than she was in any other season, and while her performances in races seemed to reflect such - nearly always in the top 3 in winter and the short transitions to autumn or spring - and in the lower half of the field in any warmer weather - the appearance of her Cutie Mark only reinforced that fact. It was when her career as a racer started to falter, really before she truly turned professional, that she was forced to explore other ways of life, other professions, and ironically, she would follow in her family's hoofsteps - more than half of her family worked as weatherponies, and Spearmint would be the next one of the family to find her calling - unfortunately, her love for winter had also affected just how good she was at bringing such weather. She would quickly find out that she was excellent at bringing in many types of cold weather - but her ability for bringing in anything else - be it a thunderstorm or even anything simple as a rain cloud, suffered. Finally unable to face her failures in racing which were becoming well-documented in the city, she decided to take up the job of a weatherpony, but as much as she loved the city of Cloudsdale, and being with her kin, she could no longer stay, the focus of competition, racing and being the best too much for her. She decided to move to Ponyville without so much as a word - and while her life appears to be looking up in the friendly town, she does wish she could get back to a racing life. Character Personality: Spearmint is quite the friendly pony most of the time - and will usually approach anypony that interests her, be it to talk, enjoy a nice flight, or even a good meal. In fact, Spearmint is such a fan of flight that one will rarely see her on the ground. Her nature as a Pegasus is still very much within her, though, and if challenged to a race - she will have a hard time turning such a test down. Spearmint also adores the winter season, and is most active then, but come the summer months, her dislike for the warm weather will usually mean she will quiet down, become less active, and generally less cheerful. She will sometimes look for an isolated corner to create the wintry weather she loves so much, as well. Another thing Spearmint has a hard time turning down is if she sees a friend in trouble - she will often look to lend a helping hoof. Character Summary: Spearmint is a friendly weather-pony that specializes in the winter weather - and loves everything related to winter. Unfortunately, this also translates to an equal dislike of most things summer-related. Born in Cloudsdale yet recently moved to Ponyville - Spearmint will struggle to say no to any race - and a good meal is also something she will rarely decline. She does wish she could get back to a racing life, though...

Yes another new character. I think I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact that I'll have lots of OCs that get little to no use. Son of the highly decorated General Pummel (played by Bellosh), Dawnguard is out to follow his father's hoof steps in making Equestria a better place. Hopefully he'll be able to tone down the dramatics enough to actually get stuff done. "My spear hoof hungers for justice..."
  22. [ Pony Related Character ] Name: Soarin' Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Pegasus Pelt Color: Light blue Mane/Tail Color & Style: Dark blue, windswept Eye Color: Green Cutie Mark: A lightning bolt splitting a storm cloud. Physique: Trim, athletic build Residence: Cloudsdale, but is often 'on the road' Occupation: Wonderbolt Character History: From a young age, Soarin always dreamed of flying hard and fast. When he was just a foal his parents took him to see one of their shows, and his eyes were WIDE open from the opening act to the thrilling conclusion. He grew up enamored with each generation of Wonderbolts, and always asked his parents to take him to their shows when they were in Cloudsdale, making a special point to see every show when their lineup or their repertoire had been expanded. In Junior Speedsters Camp he was always eager to show off, something that cost him more than one race to pegasi slower than him, but something none of the councilors could convince him not to do. Late in his last year of the camp, one of the Wonderbolts in that generation, Thunderwing, handed him a flyer for the Junior Wonderbolt camp that had been recently established. Where the speedster camp focused on fast, the Wonderbolt camp was all about -STYLE-. Soarin had style in spades, and was one of the star pupils in camp. He earned his cutie mark by performing a triple shoot-the loop with Thunderwing in his second year, which he calls his 'Best. Day. Ever.' to this day. When the time came to replace retiring members, Soarin was a natural choice because of his technical ability in the air, even if he was accident prone and downright clumsy with solid ground under his hooves. Character Personality: Soarin' is easy going and rather happy go lucky. He tends not to think things all the way through, but he's as dependable as you could ask for once he's agreed to something. Just don't expect things to go off without a hitch, because he's quite accident prone. He's usually quite ready to chat with complete strangers, fan or no, in part to get to know his fan base but mostly just because he enjoys idle conversation. Which is not to say he doesn't know how or when to be serious. The primary thing holding Soarin back is that he's not terribly inventive, so while he can easily do anything he wants to do in the air, he's not the one to turn to for new stunt ideas, and he tends to forget to eat in the lead up to a show, causing him to have a tremendous appetite afterward. He doesn't usually mind this too much, since it usually allows him to indulge guilt-free in a nice slice of pie. Character Summary: Work hard, play hard, try not to leave too many craters. This is Soarin's philosophy in a nutshell. A consummate entertainer, he's utterly devoted to his fans and to the Wonderbolts, and is one of the higher ranked non-REA 'bolts. He may be accident prone, and sometimes he misses the obvious, but he never lets anything keep him down for long, and is always willing to let bygones be bygones. If he pushed harder, he'd be a living legend, and he kind of lives up to the legend. In short, he's Soarin' of the Wonderbolts, and he will rock. Your. World. (Thanks for the image, Tales!)

  24. Roleplay Type: WoE Name: Dawnguard Sex: Male Age: Young Stallion Species: Pegasus Eye colour: Light blue Coat: Pure white Mane/Tail: A strong golden color, almost as vivid as the armor he wears. Physique: A little taller and muscular than the average Pegasus, Dawnguard inherited his parent's excellent physical conditions. He has an athletic build that identifies him as somepony who regularly keeps their body fit and in shape, though his features are still rather coltish in nature. Residence: Formerly his family's villa in Stalliongrad, but as a somewhat recent addition into the REA, Dawnguard is stationed in Canterlot for his training, and is often deployed to other training facilities throughout Equestria. Occupation: Private First Class in the Royal Equestrian Army Cutie Mark: A yellow sun with a portion of it darkened to imitate nighttime, representative of night turning into morning. Dawnguard grew up in a relatively happy and healthy home, never wanting for attention or care as his mother and his grandparents were always ready to provide him with both, but one figure remained conspicuously absent in the young colt's life. Dawnguard's father, a high ranking member in the REA, had duties that kept him from visiting home very often, causing a rift between him and his son. As a young colt, Dawnguard accepted his mother's explanations about responsibilities and duties, but as he grew older, those explanations festered and shriveled with each visit that left everything to be desired. It soon became a bitter resentment for the missing father figure who seemed to have no time for his own family, who cared too much about his stupid work with his stupid guards friends in stupid Canterlot, and even Dawnguard's mother failed to dislodge that growing disgruntlement. But seemingly all of a sudden, news reached Stalliongrad of a Changeling attack on Canterlot, one that had almost ended with the fall of Princess Celestia. All of his family was stunned, but none more than Dawnguard as further word reached them specifically, regaling tales of a dark grey Pegasus who had rallied the guard and kept order among panicked citizens, potentially saving hundreds of lives in the process. Dawnguard was stunned, finally realizing that the 'stupid work' that had kept his father away from the family had also saved pony lives. All the resentment that had festered inside seemingly dissipated at once, humbling the young Pegasus. It was, however, a revelation for him, one that ignited a new fire to replace the bitterness in his heart to take action, to help solve the problems that kept his father busy and estranged. His cutie mark appeared then and there, which was all the indication Dawnguard needed to start on his new path. Unique Traits: As he is more physically adept than the average Pegasus, Dawnguard suffers in the flying department. He is not a precision flyer, having particular trouble maneuvering in tight quarters, and a slow reaction time in correcting his flight path. He is geared more towards endurance flying, allowing him an easier time making long journeys across Equestria and flying through inclement weather. The ribbon that Dawnguard keeps wrapped around the base of his ceremonial spear is not, despite its placement, a token from a marefriend. It was a gift given to him by one of his sisters, right before he left to join the royal army. History: Though they came from Stalliongrad, Dawnguard's family was not part of the upper crust of society. The second youngest sibling between three daughters and one son, the young colt was born to two loving Pegasi, and grew up with hardly a care in the world. As a relatively new family with new foals to take care of, chaos was to be expected, but the family grew up healthy and whole, and Dawnguard's family was the picture of the Equestrian dream. That soon changed when his father Pummel, a member of the REA, began regularly leaving the family to return back to his work, leaving his wife and children behind. To the young colt, the rare visits his father paid were too few and too far in between. Dawnguard grew closer to his mother and siblings as a result, but even she began to become more active in her work as newly named Treasurer of Stalliongrad. The Pegasus instead turned to his school activities and friends, though he didn't take to scholarly pursuits all that well. The appearance of his cutie mark and newly reformed feelings for his father, however, changed everything for Dawnguard, prompting an immediate shift in his goals and aspirations. Dawnguard began applying himself to his schooling, intent on margin passable grades in order to be accepted into the REA. His persistence paid off, and Dawnguard was almost out the door of his home without looking back. His mother persuaded the eager Pegasus to wait a few extra days however, in order to bid a proper farewell to his family. Dawnguard (reluctantly) agreed and spent those few days giving his goodbyes, but soon enough he was heading off to Canterlot, with a single duffle bag on one shoulder and the aspirations of his foalhood on the other. Any lofty dreams of grandeur and dramatic rescues, however, were thoroughly dashed by drill sergeants and training routines so intense, it was probably only thanks to his exercise-crazy mother that he managed to keep up. Though he was disappointed that he wouldn't get to immediately dive into the Everfree Forest to battle some hydras, Dawnguard persevered, finding his stride and place within the army. As of the present, the Pegasus has just recently been promoted to Private First Class, a rank he carries with great pride - and hopefully, just the first of many. Character Personality: Above all else, a pony would be hard pressed to find a stallion as genuine as Dawnguard. Eager, sincere, and passionate, the white Pegasus showcases everything he has on his hooves, and keeps nothing hidden up his sleeves. He shares his secrets as easily as he shares his dreams, lofty and grandiose as they are, and has no problem speaking up. It is obvious that Dawnguard holds some subjects close to his heart, as he is a very passionate pony who can easily get worked up given the right prodding. Eager to both please and make himself known, Dawnguard is quick to volunteer for an assignment or help somepony out, especially if they appear in any way victimized. His desire to bring wrongs to right seemingly give Dawnguard more energy than the sun gives Equestria, and the Pegasus will not sit down and sit out for anything less than four broken legs. Given his dreams of becoming a high ranking REA officer like his father, it is perhaps not surprising how passionately Dawnguard views his job. He despises law-breaking on any level, believing no pony has any excuse to skirt around the law in a country like Equestria, and is quick to pin-point potential law-breakers. Dawnguard is so ardent about his desire to bring order to chaos and right wrongs, that he can sometimes take his defense of Equestria to ridiculous and unrealistic proportions, requesting Unicorn-powered electric fences around Equestria's borders or attempting to scold a pedestrian for jaywalking. As a very energetic and active stallion, he is also still struggling to get used to the REA's policy of "peace before violence" when dealing with citizen concerns, and more often than not, foregoes an attempt to stand down a criminal in favor of forcibly bringing them to justice. The Pegasus, for all his sincerity in wanting to promote a better lifestyle for Equestrian citizens, also has very black and white outlooks on life - a thief is a thief, no matter why they may be stealing. This clear-cut moral line has romanticized the army in Dawngaurd's eyes, to the embarrassment of his bunk mates - Dawnguard behaves and treats others as if he is a knight in shining armor, often speaking in flowery or poetic language or using archaic terms to express his views. The Pegasus even named his ceremonial spear the day after receiving it, treating it both as a real weapon and as an extension of his "righteous fury brought forth to deliver my swift and powerful retribution!" He often expresses this passion as if it were a tangible force to be reckoned with, warning others that his "spear hoof" cannot be contained, or that fear only makes the bloodlust of his spear grow stronger. Dawnguard is aware that his behavior is dramatic and sometimes frowned upon, and being called out on it will usually give him pause for a while - at least until the fury that is his righteous quest for justice can no longer be contained. Regardless of his ardent tendency to behave so dramatically, Dawnguard is an affable stallion who has little trouble getting to know others and make friends. The Pegasus generally has positive relationships in his life, though the one with his father is strained. Dawnguard no longer resents his father, but neither does he exactly know who his father is. Everything about the older stallion boils down to his title and rank - Dawnguard can recite his father's military accomplishments by heart, but doesn't know who the stallion's favorite singer is, or what he likes to do in his spare time. Worse still, the Pegasus easily accepts these congruencies, believing them to be normal for families with active duty members. Still, it is obvious to anypony with eyes that Dawngaurd respects his father and reveres him as a hero of Equestria, even if he chooses to salute the other stallion rather than shake hooves. Character Summary: Despite his over-the-top behavior and overly passionate desire to wage war on all things evil, Dawnguard is a genuine pony who wants to see Equestria made better for EveryDay sir and ma'am. Eager to bring wrong-doers and evil to justice, the Pegasus is all too ready to take to the field to fight some dragons and haul in some WRAITH members. Hopefully his time in the REA will temper his dreams of glory and action into wisdom and peace - until then, ponies will simply have to suffer his "righteous fury". [[ Relationship to General Pummel has been approved by Bellosh, though he might request some changes be made to the app. ]]
