It was a bright, sunny and hot day in the Zherbenok Bay near Seaddle and Crystal Glow was enjoying her day off from researching the local wildlife. She's been in staying in a hotel in Seaddle for about a week now doing sea wildlife research for a facility located there. It has been tough week for her adjusting to the waters of the bay and ocean since she is more used to freshwater swimming. Following fish, documenting what they do, where they live, how they interact with the environment, so on and so forth. Crystal loved her job really but sometimes it gets monotonous and frustrating, why just the other day she was documenting a rare breed and a ship came sailing right over her! Scared off the fish and nearly gave Crystal a heart attack herself! Although honestly she should of detected it a while before it came but she was so entranced in her research that she didn't notice. "Hmph Sailors" she thought to herself as she swam towards a rock outcrop in the near the ocean's shore. She was used to sailors due to her parents constant contact with them but she never really liked how they disturbed the waters with their giant ships and loud voices. She understood that ponies needed to get around in the water but couldn't they have done it in a less disruptive way? She shook her head gently and climbed onto the rocks. Crystal glow laid on the rocks for a few moments thinking of the past few days and the days to come. She was here in Seaddle for at least another week or two and the loneliness of not having her friends around was taking a toll on her. It was almost affecting her work with how lonely she was, the fish were nice and all but nothing beat the company of a real pony or creature. Seaponies were usually farther out than she was told to go for research so she couldn't converse with them in her spare time. She sighed heavily as she let the hot sun beam it's rays on her maybe talking to a sailor who comes by wouldn't be so bad. They were ponies too and I'm sure being out in the ocean for long periods of time was just as monotonous as having to do research alone. . . nah she couldn't bring herself to talk to one of them she decided with a firm slap of her tail against the rocks."Ow" she said aloud maybe she shouldn't slam her only means of water transportation hard against a solid rock. It was almost noon and the sun was high above her head, now might be the time to head back to the shores but she wanted to stay out in the middle of the bay for just a little while longer. Even though she craved companionship this was rather peaceful to her after a long week's work.
"Alba! Get the hydrogen solution!" Rabi called, moving from his beakers over to some machinery he was working on for a client. Looking it over, he tapped the engine with a hoof, turning it this way and that with his magic before giving a nod and going at it with a wrench. Hearing a squeak from behind him, he turned to see the white mouse dragging the bottle over, which he grabbed in his magic and began pouring into the other bottle on that table while the wrench kept moving. "I'd clear out of there if I was you!" He added, laughing as the mouse scurried away. The laughter died when nothing seemed to happen to the mixture, making him tilt his head and put the machine down, heading over to the chemistry side and glaring at the bottle briefly. "And what's your problem, exactly?" He asked, leaning in closer. Really, he was trying to get as much work in as he could before this meeting happened, so he could spend more time on it without worrying over timetables. The letters he received were very interesting indeed, and he couldn't wait to meet this pony about them. Maybe they really could stop magic surges. "Speaking of magic!" He said, letting out a bolt of electricity at the machine, which whirred to life from the power. "Ha! Now for you." He said, shocking the bottle. This set off a reaction, making the mixture bubble a bit from the heat and let off a bit of vapor. Rabi was much too close to the bottle to avoid the vapor, which he accidentally breathed in and immediately sneezed because of. "Well, that was disappointing. Don't you think so, Al-" He said, cutting out as he abruptly fell over and began snoring. Alba watched him sleep for a moment before scampering over to the bottle and sniffing it at well. A few moments later, there was a stallion sleeping on the floor and a large mouse sleeping next to an unmarked bottle.
Ember falls down on her couch with a heavy huff as she played out the events of yesterday. So many mistakes, so many foolish blunders. She lost Bits on that outing! Lost! You are not meant too lose bits from stealing! “Spitfire will kill me if she hears of this.” She grunts in despair before she takes another sip of coffee, boiling hot and black as darkness, just the way she likes it. “Where'd I be without Kave.” She mutters with a glance off at the bulls guitar resting in the corner of the living room of their modest apartment/shop. “Well, without good coffee and many other things.” She looks out the window by the couch and enjoys the early morning skyline, Kave was already at work down at the docks. Bull was insane too stay up late jamming with his band only too work in the morning. But he must be more sane than her, he was not a supervillain. Speaking of supervillains she has some supervillain gear too fix. Getting off her couch and heading downstairs she pulls out her supper well hidden chest full of supervillain gear. Ok so it was not the most well hidden thing in the world. But she told Kave if he opens it his short tail was sleeping on the couch for the rest of the year. Pulling her disguise out she takes count of the platemail and what she needs to fix and what parts were missing. “What a bloody mess this was… look at you! This is going to take a week to fix at the fastest! Ware too even start? The missing parts? They’d take the longest to replace…” And she has job orders to complete as well. No wonder most supervillains do it full time. “Well, no point wasting time. Ore to smelt and steel for forge.” She mumbles with a wave of a hoof before she builds fire up around her hoof and tossed it into her forge to start it. “Let's hope I don’t get more customers.”
(This is open, but before you jump it let me and the others in it know in the World of Equestria: The Age of Heroes OCC! And this is meant to be something for more low supervillains and heroes, so lets keep the big guns down and let some new kids on the block get a feel for things.) Ember runs her hoof over the newest part of her plate armor. Weeks of forging and work in secret lays before as a full suite of platemail, custom made too look as intimidating and deadly as a beast from Tartarus. She was proud of her work even if it was all for show, some of the stronger heroes will have no troubles blasting past plate armor or just punching it to shreds. But that was not the point, much like the stupid underwear they love to use this was too hide her face and body. A task it did very well. “Well, looks like it’s finally time…” She says to herself with a smile. Her Husband was out jamming with his band and will not get home too late in the night. She’d have all the time she needed to raise some tartarus and make it back home and cook dinner! Or pass out and say she wore herself out filling some big order. It was the perfect time to go shake off the rust and make a name for herself! With barely contained joy she started to strap her armor on, chest, legs, face hiding helmet, all felt good and snug on her. Testing the gas-mask and it’s built in speaker she felt out her range of movement and how the armor hindered her. Her strength was a true blessing as all the heavy plates of steel did nothing to hinder her movement more than wearing some shirt and pants. perfect. “Oh, today will be a fun day. Enjoy the peace as you can pones! For the Harbinger of Tartarus is coming! But where to start…” A bank was too much and to soon. A train? No that’s too cheesy. A shop? Well it can’t be too small of a store or she will come off as a thug and not a supervillain worth fearing. After thinking on what to do Ember settled on busting up a few jewelry stores and stealing the gold and gems, she can use them in her crafts and buying gold, silver and gems is just not worth it. But stealing it? Now that’s how you get rich! ----- Using her strength to leap rooftop to rooftop Ember makes her way around the downtown of Seaddle to her target. She needed to stick her landing, fire, yelling too make it clear she was in charge. That’s what Spitfire told her to do, no weakness and no hesitation. She was better than them and they WILL fear her like a sheep fears the wolf. “Well, now or nothing…” She whispered to herself as she jumps off the last rooftop and aims herself down at the front of the store. “Don’t miss the windows, don’t miss the windows!” She chanted with closed eyes. “don’t buck this up!” Flames explode too life around Ember as she travels in the air like a flaming comet of judgment, hooves meet glass and her momentum pushes her on wards as the window shatters in a storm of fire and broken glass, sticking her landing she slides into the store. “RUN YOU WEAKLINGS RUN! THE HARBINGER OF TARTARUS COMES FOR YOUR SOULS!” She shouts as flames spin up around her like a hurricane of flame. If that did not make somepony wet their tail nothing will!
