The sound of clouds being pushed, pulled, and kicked could be heard from the ground of Ponyville, for no one really enjoyed the muddy, gloomy outdoors that seemed to be droning on all week long. In fact, even the pegasi of Cloudsdale were beginning to grow irritated with the sad weather, it meant more work for the exhausted winged-ponies. The dirt roads were more like mudslides, plants were drowning in rain, causing their beautiful petals to fall and wilt from the vast amount of puddles. Overall, it was a horrible sight. On this gloomy evening, a certain somepony was forced to postpone her plans all for the sake of moving ridiculous grey clouds all around. This somepony is Flower Eyes, a short young mare that absolutely despised the very thought of being on cloud duty. She wasn't good at it, always placing clouds in the wrong area, kicking the wrong ones, and just simply ruining the formations. She wasn't an exception for her lack in cloud duty, she still had to comply and do her part as a Cloudsdale pony. Currently, her usually messy short purple and white mane was now flat, sticking to her face and neck from the rain constantly falling on her when she maneuvered herself around and between the fluffy floats. She was not having a good day. Flower Eyes pushes a cloud with her sore, cold hooves towards the right, "I could be home sleeping, relaxing... Anything! But no, 'You have a duty as a pegasus, Flower Eyes' they said, 'Just do your part and you'll be done in a jiffy~!'" Her usually monotone or somewhat friendly expression was not a scowl, her face scrunched up in concentration and frustration. Unfortunately, she began pushing the incorrect cloud in the incorrect direction, placing it in the incorrect spot. Just as she turned her back to the cloud, she heard a loud yell. She turns back around, the worry is evident in her expression, she looks around, no one. She builds up enough courage and looks down to see another pony covered in rain and mud, her dark magenta eyes widened as she quickly kicked the cloud out of the way so it would stop pouring on the pony. As she watches the pony, there is no doubt in her mind that this pony was angry. She gulps down the nervous lump in her throat before slowly flying down to meet this blob of mud that was once a pony. She lands in front of them, first examining their face before letting words slip by her lips, "Are you alright?! I didn't even notice you from up there, my apologies for getting rain all over you..." Flower Eyes trails off, becoming somewhat shy around the stranger, "I pushed the wrong cloud in the wrong direction, I am not often on cloud duty... But a mistake is a mistake and I understand you must be frustrated, if you like, I could be of service to you to make up for what I did?" Flower Eyes knows her offer isn't anything special, though, she didn't have anything much to give in the first place, she might as well be of help in some way that will not result in the rain pouring on a complete stranger.
Button Blitz The same old routine would usually cause an inexperienced pony to snap, although, Button Blitz is a self-taught MASTER of surviving days... Nights... Weeks... Hours... Minutes... Every SINGLE type of time you can think of without sleep. She's basically a machine that runs on pure fuel. Yes, yes, yes, I know what you are thinking! "B-B-But... How does she survive? She must be-" Blah blah blah! Yeah, yeah, yeah - No. Blitz is fiiiiiine, she is a-okay! Anyways, Button Blitz is what you would call the "Button Smasher" or "The Master of Gaming", she is a legend, she is the PRINCESS (not literally) of gaming. May the Princesses have mercy on whoever picks a battle with her. Button will not stand being left in the dust defeated, even if you have the slight luck of demolishing her high-level characters with whatever hack you got, she will come back... ZERO DEATHS. Blitz is the type of pony who is extremely stubborn and quite a sore-loser, she goes through the Five Stages of Grief before finally accepting the fact she had her flank served to her. Now that you've got a solid idea of our dear Button Blitz, let's begin with what's going on today~ The older filly violently presses away at the bottoms that allow her portable gaming consul, or better known as a GameColt (GameBoy), to function properly. Her small pink tongue peeking from the side of her lips, her eyes looked bloodshot and the all-too-familiar heavy, dark bags that were carefully placed under her large ash purple eyes. Of course, everypony but Button Blitz understood how healthy this is - Did she listen? Of course not. In Blitz's eyes, she believed that everyone just couldn't handle her skills. "Muahaha~! You thought you could defeat me? You're mistaken, young one, I am just too advanced! Fight me when you're on my level." The older filly yelled at her GameColt, referring to the boss she had just faced. Blitz was currently sitting at the desk of the Comic Book shop she works at, its name being FREAK N' COMICS. Sales aren't very high since not many ponies take the time to indulge in the pure art of video games, superheroes, comics, and nerdy action figures like our dear Button Blitz. Although, you never know, maybe today she will be lucky enough to gain at least one customer...
Cherry Blossom The jolly cheers and laughter filled the air this cold day, for everypony have gathered outside to enjoy this one jolly day every year. Colorful decorations, mounds of snow every which way you look, frozen lakes to skate upon, and ponies simply having the happiest of time. Of course, that is nothing new considering Ponyville is often happy, though, Christmas was the happiest of all. It is a time for giving, not because you have to, but because you're doing it out of the kindness of your heart. Unfortunately, not everyone was having a jolly Christmas, for there are a few lonely ponies this year who have been forgotten. No decorations, no friends to chat with, and absolutely no presents to give or take. That includes the shy, pink pony who can often be seen gardening during Spring and Summer, her name being Cherry Blossom. During Christmas, she would usually spend it with her best friend, Flower Eyes, but this year it was different. Her dear friend had gone out of town during the worse time possible, though, she continued to receive heartwarming letters from her purple pony pal. None the less, letters can't make up for the fact that today she is sitting all alone outside of a coffee shop due to the inside being full of ponies. Her snout is redder than her pastel pink coat and her ears are buried in the large mess of hair on her head. Her entire being is wrapped in a heavy scarf and other assets to protect her from the cold. While she may look cozy and warm, her eyes held sadness, their usual bright hot pink shade fading to a sad, boring pink. Just as she thought this usually happy Holiday couldn't get any worse, a large pile of snow fell onto her mane, soaking it as it melted from her body hit, soiling her winter clothes and causing her cheeks and snout to turn as red as a fresh apple from Sweet Apple Acres. She lets out a frustrated sigh, putting down her empty cup of hot cocoa, she uses her numb hooves to dust off the remaining snow that hasn't yet melted or soiled her clothes, "I just want a peaceful holiday, but it seems mother nature has other plans..." Cherry Blossom stands up from her seat, throwing out her empty cup of cocoa, she begins to walk sadly, her head hanging low as her now damp mane loses what little bit of character left her in usually shy yet friendly demeanor.
