  1. *OOC REQUIRED READING*: http://www.canterlot.com/topic/22604-lore-long-guo-mount-faba/ This should have been the crowning achievement of Dr. Merlot's career. No prize in the field of archaeology had been sought after more than the resting place of the monstrous serpent dragon Faba, the Great Tyrant King of the Ancient East. According to the lore of the Long Sun, King Faba and his army of serpent dragons were turned into terracotta statues upon their overthrow and buried beneath an unknown mountain. However, most archaeologists had come to the conclusion that King Faba's mythical tomb never existed, as no evidence could be found anywhere that the supposed subterranean complex was ever constructed. ...Until now. Dr. Merlot didn't believe it at first when word privately reached his ears via new "benefactors" of his that physical evidence of King Faba's Tomb had come to light. Apparently, a shadowy cult devoted to Faba managed to safeguard a millennia-old scroll detailing the exact location of Mount Faba; a desolate nondescript mountain on Long Guo's eastern frontier. Merlot's benefactors were suspicious of the discovered clue too, hence why they sought out the good doctor for his expertise. Believe it or not, the gentlecolt's examinations revealed that the artifact in question was indeed genuine. And now from a rocky vantage point flanking the excavation camp on Mt. Faba's western slope, Merlot took in his surroundings as he fidgeted with a new pin on his lapel. ...A pin depicting the black kraken of WRAITH. Despite partaking in the greatest archaeological endeavor since the discovery of King Mutt's Tomb in Diamond Dog territory, Dr. Merlot was not in a mood to celebrate. The stallion might have been the lead archaeologist of this expedition on paper, but in truth WRAITH was in charge... and without actual clues in their possession as to the actual entrance of Faba's mausoleum nor what was inside, WRAITH's goons saw fit to carelessly drill and dynamite the mountainside wherever they pleased. Dr. Merlot tried raising objections, but was silenced; they claimed the good doctor should be grateful he had an organization backing him with the horsepower and willingness to maintain absolute security at every cost. Tsk tsk tsk... at least Merlot would get to retire in splendor as the most renowned archaeologist of all time. And there would be nopony to stop him this time!!!
  2. Sooner or later, all those pathetic worms will learn where they belong! Usurper ruling from Huangjing will feel the hatred of two thousand years and fall! And at long last First Dynasty will take it's rightful place under the sun once more! - Jinhua, Daughter of Tian Name: Jinhua. A very, very few earned themselves the right to call her Hua for short. Sex: Female Age: Mare Species: Quilin Eye Colour: Crimson red Coat: Cream white. Changes to metallic bronze when affected by her 'Emperor Armor' breath. Her scales are red, just like her eyes. And while they don't change the color under effect of the 'Armor' they gain metallic shine all the same. Mane/Tail: Middle length and fashionably unkept, with two long bangs framing her face and others covering her forehead. Color of qureolin normally, it changes to metallic silver when 'Emperor Armor' is active. Physique: Tall and build like amazon, very much representing a brute strength approach Hua has to most things. Jinhua reveals in how her stature is found intimidating by other, and as such maintains her body carefully. Her horns are impressive and posses many prongs, giving Jinhua somewhat regal appearance. Normaly blue, they took color and pattern of Damascus Steel when affected by her 'Armor'. Residence: Wingapore. She however has apartments in Long Kong, Manhattan, Talonopolis, Canterlot and Stalliongrad as well. As a high ranking member and Commander in the ranks of WRAITH she also travels around the world on various missions. Occupation: Jinhua is a CEO of Iron Dragon Metal Industries as well as member, funder and Commander of World Revolutionary Agency for Imperialism, Tyranny, and Hostility with ambitions of eventually becoming Empress of Long Guo. Cutie Mark: A White Tiger, symbolizing her incredible skill with Metal Breathing as well as ties with that Aspect. Unique Traits: Jinhua most distinctive feature is a silver gem in the middle of her forehead, in reality a magical amplifying artifact of her own design and Inoculated by surgeons hired by her. The gem (called Pinyin Engine by Hua) greatly amplifies her powers over Metal Breathing as well as her perceptions to keep up with this boost, putting them far above over what is normally possible for her species. As such she is capable of manipulating lesser known parts of the Aspect that inhabitants of Far East call 'Jīn' , namely gravity and lightning. But most important of all, the additional power granted by the Engine allowed Jinhua to master her trademark 'Emperor Armor' technique. By enveloping herself in her own Metal Flames Hua can turn her skin, scales and coat into metal like surface - granting her strength of twenty quilin and unrivaled toughness and endurance. A very fearsome ability indeed. But all things have a price....the procedure amplified not only her Metal Breathing, but also her tyrannical tendencies and other negative traits, with occasional lapses into insanity when provoked. The gem is not normally visible, Hua had enough insight to ingrate chameleon spell in it's very structure. It's becomes visible when Jinhua using the Armor due to necessary energy normally used for keeping up the spell being re-directed towards Hua breath techniques. The fact it emits silver light while doing this doesn't help. Jinhua is also skilled material arts master, having techniques from Judo, Aikijutsu, Pankration and Bajiquan in her repertoire. History Pt. 1 - The Story and Legacy of Prince Cao: Long Guo had long and convoluted history. While it's inhabitants follow the road of harmony, many times the peaceful balance was disrupted. Like during feud that ultimately resulted in fall of Tian Dynasty. Xi Hua and Xiao Huo had many children, among them a stallion of the name Cao Rui. Prince Rui wasn't as popular as his siblings, nor he rivaled them in magic, charisma or strength. What Cao had however was extraordinary cunning, and using his great mind he goaded his brothers and sisters towards infighting among themselves - with intent of besting them and claiming throne for himself when they will be too weak from struggle. Cao plan however failed when one of his servants was eventually caught, and blabbered everything about his Master's plan. Rui siblings made a temporary agreement to deal with their nefarious brother, leaving him in unwinnable position. Cao however outwitted them once more. Using a body double, he staged his own demise and fled overseas with group of loyal followers. Cao ended up in the far west, in the land of Maretonia, far enough from any possible grudges and once there, he begun amassing resources to return with vengeance and claim what was rightfully his. However news reached Maretonia slowly. A few years after his escape Prince Cao, now a proud father, finally heard what has transpired in his homeland during his absence. A deserter of the general have approached the Long of the Longri-La and pleaded them for intervention. And treacherous dragons agreed to his requests! The had blackmailed his siblings into giving up what rightfully belonged to them, abdicating and dropping all pretenses towards the throne....but not Cao, by the virtue of Long Guo believing him him dead leaving him - ironically - the only one with valid claims. It was at that moment that Prince Rui realized that he will never again see his homeland. By now the position of Long Dynasty was secure, and his protests would amount to nothing! Cao wept, wept and cursed treacherous general and traitorous Long, who proved themselves no better the the wickedest of Mó. And yet Cao didn't gave up, instead doing all he could so one day his blood, children of his children would secure what was rightfully belonged to them. Even his final moments served towards this goal, with Cao using his final breath for a powerful dying curse at the serpents of Longri-La - so that when the time was ripe they will regret their fickleness and treachery. And so they did endure, waiting centuries, millennia all for the ambition of regaining their former glory. Over time Cao's descendants returned to Long Guo, while keeping their descent a secret. Patiently, they infiltrated high Government positions Finally, during reign of Gang Dynasty, when any more waiting became unbearable, they struck. However the blow came too soon, the current Empress was killed, but her children were unharmed. Most of the living descendants of the Cao were rounded up and thrown into dungeons of Empire to rot. Yet they were forever loyal to the blood in their veins. Despite most valiant attempts of Empress servants, they didn't said a thing about their true heritage. Meanwhile, the few of the clan that avoided capture fled Long Guo once more, while swearing an even more terrible vengeance. Evidently the 'Time of Reckoning' spoken by their ancestor didn't came yet. The Curse of Cao was yet to be fulfilled.... . History Pt.2 - Jinhua: Centuries later the Jinhua was born as the descendant of those survivors, living in Wingapore as the business-quilin. From her very first days Hua was fed with tales of their former glory, with her parents cultivating ambition and hatred towards ruling Féng Dynasty. Young Hua took her parents words to the heart - perhaps too much - working hard from the young age, all for the cause of taking what was hers. Young filly proved herself a worthy descendant of her genius ancestor. She quickly showed her cleverness, and while she wasn't an unrivaled genius like Great Cao was, unlike him she was also blessed with incredible physical strength and magical might. There was no other word that could describe her but 'prodigy'. Cutie Mark Story: It was during her studies when Jinhua found out about the greatest of her numerous talents. One day when attempting to read one of her favorite works, Jinhua accidentally made an entire heavy bookshelf fall on her instead. The heavy piece of furniture didn't crushed her however. In the panic, the scared filly shrouded herself in her own flames, and that action was what saved her. Embers licking her body made Hua's coat and scales shine like most precious of metals, she was now able to shrug off the weigh of furniture and it's contents the with ease. It was only when she crawled out from under the bookshelf that she noticed the change, a White Tiger had appeared on her flank, the symbol of her potential with metal flames. Truly she was marked for greatness if the very symbol of the Aspect was what represented her talent! History Pt.2 Continued: Despite seeing how talented their daughter was, Hua parents didn't cut her slack. Opposite, seeing that she was gifted to advance her bloodline's goal like no one before her, instead they paid even more attention to her. As they were true Emperors of Long Guo, her father demanded for Huo to study their homeland history. As sullied as it was by Usurper's hooves, in the end Dragon Throne was rightfully theirs, and knowledge of the enemy never could hurt. But as the filly as more she grew and studied, the more she came to hate the very moniker 'Dragon Throne' itself. The creatures that painted themselves as paragons of detachment and serenity were nothing but bunch of hypocrites! 'Give a thing and take a thing, to wear the Mó's gold ring.' would describe them perfectly, but injustice towards her family wasn't a beginning nor an end of their misdeeds. Hua found proofs of their crimes all over Long Guo's history - not limited by blind worship that whitewashed them in the eyes of other quilin and longma, she was able to see the full extend of their sins. They meddled when not asked, and chose to ignore the the Empire when they were - all so they would remain on top of the chain on the continent, they were the puppeteers that pulled the strings all this time! During her studies Hua even managed to uncover secrets that serpent dragons wished to remain lost. Long forgotten pasts, and decisions that scarred the world. By the time Jinhua reached her teenage years, her grudge against Serpents of Longri-La grew to the such extend that she started to wish for Mount Suncrest and dragon dwelling atop it to turn into nothing more but a pile of rubble. She also came to hate 'Usurpers' even more as well, as none of the so called 'Dynasties' were strong enough to deal with the arrogant snakes, instead allowing themselves to be nothing more then their pawns, oblivious to their manipulations. That said not all her time was spent tending the ancient grudge that she inherited from her ancestors. One of her favorite pastimes included the practice of judo and aikijutsu. Hua always liked to think that in the days to come, ones when she will finally sit on the Dragon Throne her very majesty will redirect ill intent, just as the material art allowed her to do with a physical threat. Jinhua was skilled enough that she helped bring her school to victory in the Junior High World Tournament. The very moment when she trampled her last opponent remains one of Hua's fondest memories. After finishing high-school, Jinhua attended prestigious University of Wingapore. Not being a mare to do thing half-way she attended not one but two degree courses. The first one being Engineering and Metallurgy, the second Magic Theory. She of course proved to be successful, and few years later Jinhua was in possession of doctorates in both fields. Using her talent and knowledge, as well as businesses know-how she founded her own company Iron Dragon Metal Industries , with the goal of amassing fortune big enough to overthrow Feng Emperors. History Pt.3 - WRAITH: Jinhua proved herself more then successful businessmare. Not only she had all the tools one the craft would need, and she had no qualms about using...less then legal means. And while would she? After all, there was no nobler goal then avenging injustice that befallen her family. And if her rivals wasn't strong or determinate enough to survive the competition from her? Well, that simply meant that those maggots didn't had a place in this businesses to begin with. Iron Dragon grew, and Hua ended up establishing outposts overseas. When it was time for opening one in Long Guo, Jinhua decided to attend it in person. After all there was no better cover to know the enemy then the guise of truth. Hua however wasn't prepared for sigh that sprawled before her eyes. She expected a nation lagging behind the world, one that remained in the game solely because of it's size and population. What she saw instead was a true Empire, prospering and strong. This sigh, this very sigh shook Jinhua up more then any single individual could. Was she really attempting to bend this might, might of the massive nation to her will? Hua didn't stay in Long Guo ended up not lasting long. After all the necessary things were taken care of, quilin's massive ego crumbled and she basically fled the nation. With doubt, want, envy, rage and many other emotions swirling inside she couldn't take it anymore. Hua took a lengthy vacation and traveled to Maretonia, in hopes that the stay in a distant land will help her arrive to some kind of epiphany, just as it happened to her venerated ancestor once. In the end, her 'vacation' in Maretonia extended to a whole two years. During them, Hua ended up trying various activities, in an effort to occupy her mind from near crushing knowledge that the task before her was almost literally impossible - like practicing Maretonian material art Pankration or studying the country's mythology. However, eventually Jinhua's luck changed for the better. One day she was approached by the agents of WRAITH. The shadowy organization knew about her ties with criminal syndicates and tried to blackmail Jinhua with that information. While being in her office. Unsurprisingly that ended poorly for the messengers. Quilin mare quickly beat the unfortunate mooks into the ground and after some 'convincing' managed to disclose the location of the nearest WRAITH safe-house. Absolutely fed up with everything and thus not thinking clearly, she opted to deal with rest of the offenders on her lonesome. When she arrived to the location, inside she found only one soul - one of WRAITH Elite Operatives. Bizarrely the potential fight somehow devolved into a lengthy discussion. And even more surprisingly Hua found herself agreeing with what her conversationalist. In the end, in the most surprising of results, the supposed victim of WRAITH schemes ended up joining the organization, as well as becoming one of it's more prominent - and willing - funders. This turn of events revitalized Jinhua's spirit. Now that she found others working towards the goal common enough, which dispelled all her previous doubts. Still, she recognized that the journey will not be easy. To rises up to this future difficulties Hua designed and build the powerful Pinyin Engine for the sole purpose of enhancing her abilities. She was successful when it comes to that, but in her haste she failed to throughtly test the device before-hoof, and as such it put a great strain on her mind that ended up magnifying her less desirable personality traits. Worse yet, the process of putting the gem in her forehead turned out to a irreversible. Still so far the things turned out great for Jinhua and her WRAITH allies. It's no just a matter of time before the Usurper, Dragons of Longri La and the whole Long Guo will be put in it's place. Beneath her hooves and on their knees respectively. Character Personality: Tyrant. If one word could be used to describe Jinhua it would be the best one. The quilin mare has all the qualities and traits that could be found in worlds despots and dictators, but the biggest of them is her belief in her own self-worth. Jinhua has absolutely, enormous, gargantuan ego, which paradoxically is Hua's both greatest strength and the most crippling weaknesses. The only thing being able to rein her pride is her determination towards obtaining the Dragon Throne, a life's goal that made her determinator of the biggest order - she committed herself to that goal completely, absolutely, and unflinchingly. After all if she would give up, it would mean that both two thousand years her family endured and her very existence were pointless. Her will toward achieving that end bent only once, but afterwards it became even more steel-like. Hua simply doesn't acknowledge the the existence of the of term 'give up' - at least in relation to herself. Jinhua's pride and sense of superiority, became even greater after she embed Pinyin Engine into her body. The mare believes now that she's the greatest being under the sun, and is on the way of developing full-blown God Complex. Even Number 1 is unable to downplay this conviction of self importance (but she has other ways of dealing with it, See below). In fact she absolutely refuses to address 'Number 1' as such. After all quilin mare is working with Shadowmane, not for her. Empress answers to no-one, and no one is first before her. Jinhua also greatly enjoys proving her superiority, either through words or action. This is a reason why she took so much liking in practicing material arts for example. It's not like she has any faith in this ridiculous 'inner peace' rubbish, and she doesn't even like the act of fighting that much. It's because it is direct way of showing all those 'mongrels and maggots' their rightful place - namely below her hooves - and for Hua doing just that is absolutely blissful experience. Of course her overblown ego tends to hamper her as well. Those shrewd enough can manipulate her by appealing to it (which is method that Shadowmane milks for all it's worth to make Hua do anything), and she is a real sucker for compliments. Hua is wise enough to know that in order to make her dream a reality, she needs to keep her true linage a secret for a time being. Which is a problem, because she has a compulsion of rubbing her own superiority into everyone faces. Being caught between this necessarily and her own ego gives Hua - predictably - a huge amounts of frustration. She deals with it in various ways. Spending time and flirting with handsome, 'worthy enough' stallions is one. Other is her hobby of art collecting. Jinhua is huge connoisseur when it comes to craft from her ancestral homeland, and knows all styles coming from it true and through. She is also fond of jewelry, the ones made of silver being her favorite. And there is of course her 'other' line of work. Dealing with enemies of WRAITH - either personally or by proxy of minions - gives quilin mare a huge amounts of satisfaction and a way to vent her frustrations. Because of her upbringing, as well as her ego, the only way to earn Jinhua acknowledgment is to show strength. Surprisingly however, Hua has tendency of seeing 'strength' in almost anything. Be it convictions, willpower, pure physical might or genuine cunning as long as you excel in something, it's enough to stop her from perceiving you as a (complete) maggot. Of course this is not enough to be considered equals, but in Hua's mind nopony is on the same level as her. Still gaining her respect is not impossible. This way of thinking makes Hua - surprisingly - quite a benevolent boss. After all she alone is an Emperor, it would be foolish to held others to the same standards and expectations. As long as one show obedience and does not oppose her will she can be quite generous and understanding of others faults and shortcomings. Hua also is very intelligent and insightful, with firm grasp of equine psychology in rare, rare, rare moments when her ego doesn't need to be polished. Those qualities along with her diligence is among the reasons why she is so successful as businessesmare.... As long as she doesn't have one of her 'episodes' that is. The Pinyin Engine that Jinhua that she ordered to be embed into her temple increased quilin's mystical might tremendously, at the price having more then few nasty side effects. Making her negative traits more prominent is one, the occasional violent mood swings is another. But there are times when it enlarges her ego to such levels that it makes her legitimately insane. During those moments Jinuha perceives almost anything (like standing on the same ground, or daring to gaze at her) form as an affront to her pride, and she wastes no time in dealing with the 'offenders' - violently - self preservation be damned. Those attacks are brief, and showing total subservience is an effective way for snapping Hua out of it, but they only make her more dangerous and unpredictable. Other Quirks: Hua refuses to address almost everyone by the name. In fact she doesn't even bother to remember them in the first place instead using terms like 'maggot', 'insect', 'vermin' or 'spec' and those are not even used in contempt. After all, one wouldn't say that they 'despise' a single ant, right? It's when she switches to more cutesy sounding (but still belittling) terms like 'squirrel' or 'piglet' that you know that you earned both Hua's attention as well as little bits affection. Those who on other hoof earned Jinhua's recognition and ire are called in more emotional matter, sometimes involving cusses and profanities. The living individuals that managed to earn enough of Jinhua's respect to make her calling them by their names number in only twelve, and that includes her mother and father. Jinhua mind also is terrible place to be in. Due to combination of Pinyin Engine influence, willpower, her sheer ego and occasional bouts of madness - any telepath or dream-walker that would find himself in unfortunate situation of being present her mindscape would be quickly crushed by the sheer pressure of simply being there. Character Summary: An egomanical quilin buissnesmare of the ancient descent with ambitions of gaining the throne of Long Guo. Which she seeks to help by working by terrorist organization WRAITH. Very dangerous in all sense of the world and at time even insane.

  4. The unicorn WRAITH Officer had incinerated the letter awhile ago, though she couldn't stop thinking about it. The ambitious mare had a big smile on her face as the small team of mooks and scientists got to work. She didn't know why they couldn't just dump the plague in the water and call it a day, but the eggheads insisted it "must be added gradually". Either way, she knew this was going to be her big break! If she succeeded here, she might even be rewarded! She might even get a name tag! Finally! Recognition she deserved! She couldn't fail, and thus far, they had been practically unopposed! Unnoticed, even! Or so she thought. This underground waterway didn't offer much in the way of protection, however. It was fairly canalized with few places to hide. Something that may or may not work in their favor, but she preferred to get out of here as quickly as possible. Just on the off chance somepony did notice them going in here. It did strike her as a bit odd there weren't more guards, seeing as this water directly went to the caribou royalty... Her supervision cut short by rumbling footsteps coming up behind her, the Officer scoffing as she looked over her shoulder at the 'Elite' operative she was provided. "What is it now, you impertinent buffoon?" she asked of the very large Diamond Dog towering over her. He and his new gadget had been assigned as extra insurance for her operation, though in all honesty she took it as a slight. She didn't need W.R.A.I.T.H.'s lapdog to babysit. She had things well under control! "Dog new pack is ready" he reported, referring to the large crystal pack strapped to his back. The mare seemed unimpressed. Did he even know how to use that thing? A new development of W.R.A.I.T.H.'s R&D department, it was supposed to be some kind of 'magic beam caster' that was originally going to be used as a static post. Instead, they decided to strap the prototype to Dog. "Very well. Stay within earshot. If one of those savages wanders down here you will need to dispose of them..." Dog nodded, and situated himself in a darker nook of the waterway to sit and await further instructions... Or for trouble to start. The spot was shadowed enough to hide him with her darker fur color. While not the stealthiest guy around, perhaps if he held still he could at least surprise potential opponents. Maybe. But until then, he'd just have to wait and fantasize about hitting something. The remainder of the security team, four uniformed mooks sat at the entrance, were just making idle chatter through their respirators. Glorified lookouts, if nothing else. At the very least they could buy some time before Dog was deployed. "What's taking so long?!" she barked at one of the WRAITH scientists, looking up from the canisters they were rigging up. "We're finishing calibrations now... The pressure levels of these containers need to be set to to release the contagion at a rate where it will not be too diluted and will have a better chance of contaminating the water supply as a whole! Of course, if you decided to assist us, we could move this along much-" the stallion was cut off by a fireball square to the torso, singeing his labcoat and knocking him against the far wall. The Officer, he horn steaming, just stifled a chuckle. "You shouldn't make jokes, doctor. Humor is... hurtful... and can ruin lives. Besides, if you're telling me you need my assistance to do your job... All I'm hearing is you admitting you've outlived your usefulness..." Without another word, the scientist limped back to work, leaving the underground waterway itself back to an eerie silence.
  5. An otherwise typical bustling day in Manehattan, it quickly turned into a crisis when a certain Diamond Dog decided to make a withdrawal from the city reserve. Dog had enough waiting around. WRAITH was doing good work, but not enough of Dog's kind of work. He wanted to hit the Equestrians in a place it would hurt. Somepony once told him 'money is power', and the ponies seemed to have a lot of it. He just wanted to make Number 1 proud, and so, took a rare moment of inititive. He was going to get Number 1 money, and number 1 would be proud of him. ... Maybe he's keep some money for himself too.Replace that rusty blunderbuss on his back, or finally get his beloved Dogdozer in proper bashing order again. Dog was staring at the Manehattan bank, thinking. He might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but even he knew he couldn't just charge in there and demand the money. He needed a plan. But plan after plan circled in his head, none of which were very good. One even involved asking nicely, which he slapped himself for. Ponies didn't ask nicely for diamond dog lands! At least, he didn't think so, so why offer them that courtesy? Dog just wanted the money that was in that bank. As far as he was concerned, that money was HIS money now! The ponies wouldn't have it no more, and they'd have less power! It's Dog's money, and he wants it now!! ... Well, it was time to just charge right in there and demand the money. He sprinted toward the glass doors of the financial building and threw his shoulder into them, shattering through the doors like a minotaur in a china shop. The already massive diamond dog stood on his hind legs to make himself taller, but only ended up bumping into and breaking the ceiling tiles, which just frustrated him even more. At this point, those who were in the bank were running and diving every which way for cover, but the screaming was starting to get on Dog's nerves. Always they were screaming in his ear! He was right there! He could hear them just fine! One little unicorn pony in particular seemed to be trying purposefully to upset him. Some kind of bank guard? Through the shouts of 'stop right there's and 'get on the ground's, Dog could only see a mild annoyance. Big beefy paws took hold of the guard, eliciting a squeak from him before tossing the pony out of the broken doors like a hoofball. With the 'threat' taken care of, he lumbered toward the counter to a tearful mare doing her best to just stop shaking. "Money." Dog growled to the teller, who seemed confused at first, staring up at her robber. "M-Money...? How... How m-m-much-?" she asked, trying to play it cool, before being interrupted, rudely, by a chain-wrapped fist hammering down on the counter, nearly breaking it in half. Whoever owned the building was certainly going to lose money today either way, it seemed. "ALL MONEY!" he roared, the teller cowering under his booming voice. "GIVE DOG NOW, STUPID PONY!" If she wasn't going to do it, he might just have to try and break the vault door himself... Could take some time. Was there nopony that could stand up to this fuzzy bully?
  6. Roleplay Type: WoE Name: "Revenant", formally Northern Star Sex: Male Age: Stallion Species: Unicorn Eye Colour: A vivid, deep red, though the right reflection in the dark can make them seem bright. Coat: Dark grey, from top to bottom. The skin on Revenant's left ear and down the back of his neck is pale and scarred, the remnants of an old burn wound. His body is also littered with scars from past battles and skirmishes, the largest of which runs from all the way from the posterior base of his neck to the top of his left hind leg. Mane/Tail: Revenant's mane and tail are deep jade in color, with his mane sporting a lock of pale yellow in the front. Both mane and tail are, for the most part, cropped short, save for some locks framing his face. Physique: Despite being a Unicorn, Revenant's body bares more resemblance to an Earth Pony. Larger and taller than the average stallion, he is a physically adept pony used to being active. His build is toned and athletic, with a robust bearing that still maintains an overall lean shape. Residence: Hollowed-out Mountain Lair in the Eponnine Mountains. Occupation: Elite Operative of WRAITH. Cutie Mark: A stylized star half-hidden by an aurora borealis. With the wide and gracious space his family home afforded, North's parents repeatedly warned him about playing with any high-flying toys near the grove in the backyard, not wishing for the young colt to lose them amongst the tall trees. North hardly paid attention however, until he did exactly that one day, throwing his disc too high and getting it stuck up in a tree. North's parents could have easily gotten it down, but instead felt it prudent to punish their son for not listening to them, deciding to leave it in the treetops. North spent the entire afternoon attempting to retrieve his toy, trying every trick he could think of, but could not prevail. He was instead forced to sit through a dinner full of lectures and some undercut smugness from his parents, telling him he would just have to wait until they'd decided he'd learned his lesson. The next morning, his parents awoke to the sound of something thumping in the backyard. Curious, they went out to the lawn to discover a bull repeatedly charging at the tree - and more importantly, their son standing on the sidelines, looking on expectantly. The disc came tumbling down from the branches with only a few more charges, after which North produced a few bits from his allowance for the bull - and proceeded to begin playing with his toy again. His parents were equal parts impressed and incensed that North had managed to bypass a justly earned punishment for his disobedience, but the mixed feelings weren't enough to ignore the new cutie mark now prominently featured on the Unicorn's flank, symbolic of his persistence and perseverance. Unique Traits: Fully embracing WRAITH's motto "You cannot kill that which is already dead", North decided to take on the name "Revenant" after he joined the organization. According to folklore, Revenants were powerful spirits that rose from the dead to exact revenge on those that had wronged them. After turning the tables on a REA patrol that had taken him by surprise, it seemed a fitting title for the Unicorn, one he adopted with aplomb. Sometimes a direct article is attached to his name by those outside of WRAITH, making "The Revenant" more of a title than an actual name. Revenant doesn't mind it, and actually likes the idea of REA members frighteningly discussing when The Revenant will be making its next appearance. With a lifetime of special operatives training under his belt, Revenant makes for a formidable foe in combat. He is a master hoof-to-hoof combatant, making it difficult to escape his grasp once he's within close range, and he especially favors disabling moves, often aiming for the throat or knees. Both his body and the armor he wears favor strength and defense over blunt speed, but Revenant still maintains keen reflexes and agility in his line of work. Since leaving the REIN, the Unicorn has also started making use of weapons - most notably a shinken he stole from a traveler from the Far East, along with a dirk he keeps hidden away under his clothing. He makes for a decent swords pony usually able to hold his own in a fight, but more often than not utilizes his weapons solely for the illusion of his mastery of them, which usually leads to the Unicorn being able to take his sword-ready opponent by surprise. Another surprise that Revenant keeps hidden away is his horn. Though his hood may provide a good measure of concealment, Revenant goes an extra step by fitting his horn with an enchanted ring that keeps the appendage invisible, effectively passing him for an Earth Pony to the untrained eye. An intuitive and complex enchantment provided by WRAITH resources, the ring allows him to save the surprise of magic unless it is absolutely needed, an ace in the hole. Outside of his unique brand of magic, Revenant is a fairly skilled magic user, with a larger emphasis on variety rather than potentness, though he's made it a point to learn how to teleport efficiently for a small amount of time. His special form of magic, however, is something the Unicorn likes to refer to as 'Negation', or the being of nothing. Contrasting a Unicorn who's talents lay in summoning objects and elements from thin air, Revenant specializes in the breaking down of objects and magic to their core elements. This essentially allows him to negate or neutralize anything by disassembling it into its basic, and harmless, aether and chemical components. The magic is mostly used to negate incoming magical attacks, obliterate objects or force fields in his way, or - if someone is hit by a blast of his magic - temporarily neutralize their inherent magical properties, making them weak and vulnerable. History: Raised as the only son and sole heir to a relatively wealthy family in Trottingham, Northern Star was born during a spectacular aurora borealis showing courtesy of Cloudsdale Pegasi. Despite the weather phenomena that had heralded in his birth, it had already been decided that the first born child of the house would take after the father's name, while the second took after the mother's, and continuing. Thus, the two Unicorn named their child Northern Star, even if they continued to associate an aurora borealis with their son, up to and including nursery decorations, birthday parties, and even some clothing choices. It mattered little to the young foal, who became known as North in the community. The Unicorn quickly formed a reputation for being both spoiled, yet amazingly self-sufficient - like many spoiled offspring of well-to-do parents, North became quick to request and demand whatever his little heart desired, yet any denied requests still became fulfilled through the Unicorn's own means. Sometimes the matter involved North performing a few favors or errands for others in the neighborhood, earning a little extra money to buy the toy he'd wanted. Other times, a night of confinement to his room simply encourages the foal to sneak out of his window and slink back in before his parents awoke. As North grew, he excelled in his education as expected from his tutors and mentors, but lacked any real drive or desire to move forward with his life, causing parents to worry over how their son was turning out. Eventually, his father decided he would need to force some form of discipline into his figuratively floundering son. A few letters and pulled strings landed North as a Private in the REA for a few months, before he was transferred over to a cushiony job within the REIN. To the surprise of practically everyone, North took to the job like a duck to water, earning his way into positions of greater importance and noteworthiness. Perhaps it was simply an egotistical matter that stoked the Unicorn's fancy, the fact that he had access to information and details only a select few within Equestria had. Whatever the case, North continued to perform his way out of desk jobs and into the field, becoming a Special Agent of the REIN. It was during this time of working his way up the ladder, however, that North beginning hearing of another Special Agent who bore some very radical ideas on the future of Equestria. She was quite vocal about them, fearing no retribution from the higher-ups, and her willingness to make her voice be heard caught North's attention. Her utter disdain for the state of Equestrian leadership and her calling for the reformation of the REIN into something better was near sacrilege, to many of the ponies that were around to hear her words - not North. Still, as focused as he was on moving up the chain into more noteworthy positions, the Unicorn never had a chance to really learn more about the agent behind the words, as she was reported KIA during a mission into Aquellia. The ramblings of a radical agent were quickly swept under the rug, and North forgot all about her until a year later. The Changeling Invasion was the event that finally put things into perspective for North. Combined with Princess' Celestia's lex attitude in allowing an untrained and untested Unicorn to battle Nightmare Moon a year earlier, the entire incident proved to North that Equestria's leaders were incompetent, inept, and utterly out of its league, provoking a deep loathing and detestation against the entire country. North's newfound beliefs were only further cemented just a few months later, when a miscommunication within the REIN almost ended in North's death during an outing into the Badlands, where his recon group was mistakenly led into a hostile Diamond Dog camp instead of the friendly Diamond Dog settlement further to the east. North's survival and escape were thanks only to the loyalty and brotherhood of the recon group, who divided to distract the Dogs while one member pulled North from the burning building that had crumbled on top of him. The mistake was later attributed to a miscommunication due to magical interference, but the cause didn't matter to North. Disillusioned about the security and, more importantly, the competence of Equestria's reigning rulers, North set out on a solo mission into Aquellia - and simply, failed to return. A recovery team was discreetly sent out after him, but with the risk of Equestrian government snooping around the foreign country becoming public knowledge, North was simply declared MIA. In truth, the Unicorn deserted the REIN and Equestria both, breaking ties with his old home and country. That might have been the end of it, had North not lucked into a chance meeting with certain illicit individuals, who introduced the Unicorn to an organization determined to end Equestrian way of life. North signed on without another thought, and officially shed his birth name in favor of Revenant. Now, Revenant works diligently alongside Number One and the other members of WRAITH, a specter all too prepared to return from the grave and enact his revenge. Character Personality: All of the traits that might be used to describe Revenant, perhaps the most contextually terrifying one would be his persistence. His calling card and the driving force of his special talent, the Unicorn is utterly unrelenting once he sets his mind to obtaining something, no matter how many failures he goes through. He can persevere through resistance, opposition, and outright defeat, rising again to continue his conquest. In some respects, he is imitative of a small and spoiled foal, used to receiving whatever they wish, when they wish it. What's more, Revenant has the actual patience to get whatever it is that he wants, whether it takes weeks, months, or even years. Never once does a desire fall to the wayside due to boredom, hopelessness, or impossibility, and while Revenant may sometimes change his mind about what he wants, it is never due to simply giving up on his goal. His persistence easily melds with ruthlessness as Revenant charges after what he seeks - an inherently selfish Unicorn, the WRAITH member sees no reason why he needs to respect others and their well-being. Perhaps the sole exception to his relentless drive is his boss, the big Number One, for not only does Revenant answer directly to WRAITH's leader, he also truly believes in her goals for Equestria. Everyone else though, can expect to either put up a fight or get out of the way, as he steamrolls anyone and everyone to get what or who he wants. Revenant even subtly emphasizes this fact through the iron-clad shoes he wears on his hind legs, worn in nearly every occasion sans stealth based missions. Not only do they condition and strengthen his body by adding on the extra weight, they also make his bucks and kicks quite devastating, metaphorical symbol of crushing anyone in his path under boot and heel. With his unrelenting nature riding high at the forefront, most would think of Revenant as an unthinking brute who demands to be given everything he wants. On the contrary however, years in the REIN have cultivated the patience needed to wait for opportune moments rather than charging in as soon as possible, a fact that has transferred over to the Unicorn's personality. Revenant is as charming as the next Trottingham noble, often bowing low to kiss a mare's hoof or performing all the subtle, inbred gestures one would expect from a gentlepony. Even while he's wearing full armor inside WRAITH HQ, Revenant still displays a charming and almost roughish behavior around others, as if plotting to overthrow the government on a daily basis has absolutely no consequence on his day. His distinctive and noticeable accent also lends itself to the persona of a regular Trottingham gentlepony, and whether or not Revenant is truly sincere in his charmed flattery tends to vary from situation to situation, and from pony to pony. Given his work history and current position, Revenant has also developed into very observant pony, used to keenly paying attention to small details that would otherwise escape the notice of others. Often this skill is used against the pony in question, though at times it's used for utterly inconsequential things, like leaving a small bouquet of a pony's favorite flower on their doorstep. The Unicorn's keen and intuitive mind often give him an intense and focused look, as if he is attempting to simply read another pony's thoughts simply by staring at them hard enough - other times he walks around with a perpetual smirk on his features, as if he might know some intimate secret he could not possibly know. It is sometimes off-putting to strangers, but a quick introduction soon has them facing the Trottingham gentlecolt he was raised to be. Character Summary: Though he may appear a true bred gentlecolt from Trottingham, Revenant is anything but. Whether or not his charming ventures are sincere or not is irrelevant - the fact of the matter is that the Unicorn works to get what he wants, and has no care for anyone that gets hurt on his way to getting it.

These skills have been put to the test in the field as a lead in many smuggling operations. She is also skilled in short range combat and is able to dispatch an enemy silently and swiftly with lock techniques as well as skills with her blades. History: They say that fortune favors the brave, but this was not the case with the father of the small black foal. Though he had been in the confidence of the Ring Leader, to the point of fathering a child with her, he could not be trusted with his secrets. Ibis, Keeper of Gems, ordered the dispatch of her mate as if on a whim. The mare was never one to be trifled with. He had asked for too much, seen too much, it had been his time to leave. Though he had been the key to many a successful raid and had added much power to the smuggling ring known as ENIGMA, it was over all too quickly. Ibis raised her young filly to look after herself. Someday Jade would take over ENIGMA as the Keeper of Gems. She would lead with the same prowess that her mother did. Ibis made all the arrangements. Jade was tutored by some of the brightest minds in Saddle Arabia. she was sent to Saddlelon to be instructed in the arts of philosophy and wisdom. The young filly gained knowledge in leaps and bounds during these early days. She was never without a longing in her heart for her mother and father, though she was not to know either intimately. As time went on she hardened her heart to these thoughts, steeling herself to a life of self preservation above all else. Ibis allowed her daughter to come to her own conclusions on her training. She would need not only the ability to out think opponents but also to be calculating in dealing with those that might oppose her. Jade traveled form the desert encampment to compound in the mountain ranges of the Petite Deserts. She would stay in this compound for many years, learning at the hooves of a master marital artist. The master of the compound, instructed Jade until she entered her mare years. By this time she had discovered many secrets of the art form including camouflage, stealth, and short range combat. Jade specialized in stealth, mastering each lesson brought before her. When the time was right she was awarded with the weapon she had trained with for many years. Jade returned to her mother’s secret encampment, determined to take the position of leadership she had been honed for. Ibis was pleased with the way her daughter had turned out, but was unwilling to give up her seat of authority. Jade took a cold edge to her mother. She had been brought up away from home, away from a caring mother. It was as if all Ibis wanted was to manufacture the perfect mare to take over ENIGMA. Now she had what she had wanted and she was not willing to give up her position? Jade began to conspire against her mother soon after. It took several months but it was not long before Jade had unseated her mother and taken her place of power. She began to amass a wealth of her own. Along with her new found wealth she gained prestige in greater Saddle Arabia as a mare of power and position. She also held a notorious reputation in the smuggling world. Over time these worlds began to collide. After a particularly close event, Jade's true identity as the Keeper of Gems was close to being revealed. The mare left her second in command in charge of the Saddle Arabian ring of ENIGMA and moved to Equestria. The Emerald of Equestria seemed the perfect fit for the leader of a smuggling ring. There was much to be gained from the commerce of Seaddle and Jade would have her share! She quickly set up headquarters for herself in a small warehouse deep in the downtown district of the city. From here she commenced setting up a new ring. As her dealings with the underbelly of society increased it did not take long for her to catch wind of WRAITH. The organization fit the bill perfectly. She could run her ring and come under the protection of a larger organization that could provide her with allies. Working for WRAITH would allow her to make new ties and strengthen relationships that could someday become very useful to her pursuits. Character Summary: Jade is a mare with a calculating mind and a cut throat mentality. She appears as a mare full of grace and poise to the public eye, often gracing events with her presence as a community service. She is quite skilled in leading a double life, especially since making a mistake in the past that almost cost her everything. She is a smooth talker and often leaves stallions fumbling for words. Because of her fortunes she is able to quickly make a name for herself as a public figure which she uses to her advantage. However, her beauty is only skin deep. Jade is a mare out for herself in all matters. She will do whatever is necessary to create personal gain and keep herself from harm's way. She can become aggressive when driven to it and will not allow another to wrong her without recompense. Jade, like her mother, is not a mare to be trifled with.

(WRAITH Operative, specializing in subliminal messages and imagery.) Cutie Mark: A diamond blue stylized, broad stroked cloud in the shape of a heart. Unique Traits: As a dream therapist, Yù is trained in several different breath magics that she combines to do her work. Primarily those that create sounds, smells, or lights within the mist of the cloud, as well as a few that help lull the patient to sleep. While most of the time this is used on a single client, if the need were to arise Yù could exert herself and broaden the radius of the spell, though this often leaves her rather tired and can cause headaches if done too often. Having duped many qilin and ponies in her life, Yù has become a bit of an expert at lying, learning what her tells once were and how to avoid them. This combined with her line of work also make it a bit easier for her to tell when a pony is lying to her. Despite that though, she still can't tell when she's lying to herself... History: Born to the far east of Equestria, Yù was raised in a quiet and loving home. While not the richest by any means, they never wanted for food or shelter, modest means for a modest family. Yù's father was the owner of a small grocer's market and her mother worked along with him. And the two of them were happy with their lives and meager possessions, Yù was not. The young Qilin watched her friends and their families enjoy plays and concerts, new toys and fancy clothes. While every time she'd ask her parents, they just couldn't afford it. They would always tell Yù how they were saving up to be able to send her to a nice school when she was older, and that she just had to understand. With disappointment, she would nod and lie, saying she understood and she was fine. But inside she was envious and angry. Why would they put money where it can't be used? Why not worry about it when the time came? What if she didn't even want to go to a fancy school? Yù had little choice in the matter though, her parents were like stone on this. And so without options, the young Qilin spent most of her after school time in her room, daydreaming and reading the few stacks of old story books that had been passed down through her family for years. It wasn't much, but at least it gave her something to do to pass the time. There was one story that caught her eye every time she read it. An old fairy tale of Qilin who granted wishes with a special breath. The townsfolk would come and wish for grand things, the mysterious Qilin would work his spell, and upon the morning they'd receive their wish. Though sometimes what they wished for, wasn't exactly what they wanted. Wishes were tricky like that. It made her wonder, was there any sort of spell that could get her what she wanted? Her mother always told her that in every tall tale there's some measure of fact. With this thought in mind Yù began to leave the house more often, wandering through the aisles of the city's libraries, which made her parents happy. Perhaps finally she was taking the thought of her future seriously.Though truthfully she was still impatient, hunting for any books she could on wishes. It was disheartening to find that every book dashed her hopes on wishes coming true, that it was merely myth and good things came to those who wait, and other nonsense like that. Far from giving up though, she turned to books on magic instead. After all: couldn't magic do anything if someone put their mind to it? Alas Yù still found nothing that could help her. Aromatherapy, small contained weather clouds, mirages, colour changing clouds. None of it was even remotely what she needed! Though one day when she was calling it quits, Yù bumped into another Qilin as they were putting some books away onto a return cart. After a brief apology the other Qilin left, and Yù let her curiosity get the better of her and found what books they had put back. Amongst the stack were a few self help books, useless, but the two that really caught her eye she snatched up. Books on dreams! It was a long shot, she was sure, but maybe there would be something that could help her. But as fascinating as all of it was, most of it was just on how to interpret dreams or the author's opinion on what certain dreams meant. But there was one phrase that kept popping out to Yù: 'dream therapy'. She hadn't ever heard of something like that before, but resolved to look into it tomorrow. The next day the young Qilin left home bright and early, dashing to the library to make sure she arrived before anyone else. Hunting through the aisles for a while, she finally came across books with the topic she wanted. It turned out that dream therapy might just be her answer. Dream therapists help their clients with a specialized breath spell, a cloud with subtle smells and sounds, and even soft bursts of light that lingered over the sleeping patient. Subliminally helping them alter their dreams, or even push them towards staying on their diet or altering their daily schedule! If she could learn how to do that, maybe she wouldn't have to wish for anything! Maybe she could just gently push what she wanted onto others! It was perfect! Checking out several books on the topic, Yù rushed home and locked herself away in her room, telling her confused parents that she was 'studying'. With how often she had gone to the library as of late, her mother and father didn't question it. For weeks Yù read and re-read the books. None of the books she had checked out told her how to cast the spell directly, but with practice she slowly started to piece it together. From time to time she would return to the library to take a book back only to grab another. The book on aromatherapy, the book on small contained weather, all the books she labeled as useless would prove to be the key to figuring it out! What followed were many hours of meditation, many hours of casting the separate spells, many hours of soaked manes and the smell of lavender lingering in her room. Not to mention how many headaches she earned from over exerting herself! Most Qilin her age knew better, sticking to breaths that were far more simple. But Yù was determined to get what she wanted, no matter the cost. It took quite some time, longer than she would have liked, but Yù finally felt she had perfected the breath. But she would need to test it on someone first to be sure. She couldn't test it on her parents, if it didn't work she'd likely not get another shot at it. Instead, she waited until her family was asleep and stole away into the night. Wandering the quiet streets of the city, Yù happened upon a sleeping dog. Not the greatest of test subjects, but she had to start somewhere. Meditating for a moment on just what she wanted this dog to do, she exhaled slowly and let the shifting and pulsing mist float over the dog's head. The only sign that anything happened was the dog's legs twitched softly before it rolled over. There would be no way of knowing if it worked tonight, and so once the breath had dissipated, Yù left for home and slept. For several nights she repeated this one night alone wasn't enough to plant a message or an urge. The dog was easy enough test subject to find, always beside the same house, likely someone's pet. Every day she'd walk by that home, to see if the dog had done what she was planting in its head, but it never seemed to take hold. Perhaps dogs were too simple to use the spell on. One last night she tried though, and as her spell lingered over the dog once more, a small flash on her flank caught her eye. Where once was a blank space, now set her own cutie mark! A diamond blue, stylized, broad stroked cloud in the shape of a heart. She was SURE it was working now! And with sheer excitement she ran home, not even waiting for the spell to fully end. When the morning came, Yù showed her mother and father the cutie mark she had been graced with, and the breath spell that brought it to her. Though she conveniently omitted just what it was it did. Her parents were elated, and promised their daughter a nice meal this evening. 'Sometimes it's good to splurge' they said. It made her groan inside. Of course the only time they would treat her, was when something great happened. Never just because. Hmph. With the last of the books she had balanced on her back, Yù made her trek to the library, taking a detour to check on her canine guinea pig. Which oddly enough was nowhere to be seen. Instead a couple of ponies stood near a tree, mumbling and glancing up in confusion. It was then that a bark brought her attention to what they were staring at! Up in the tree, at the highest branch was the dog, clinging onto the limb. Sure enough the breath had worked! It was a simple command, climb a tree!...She just didn't realize exactly how high the dog would climb. Or how it would get down. She shrugged to herself and carried on her way, it wasn't her problem! What was her problem though, was figuring out what she'd do first! Done right she could get anything she wanted from her parents now! All it would take is time and she had plenty of that. Every night she could, she'd sneak into her parents room and let her spell work its magic. It took quite a few nights before anything came of it, but soon enough her parents had bought her dozens of new toys and even a few dresses! Something however, nagged at the back of her parents' minds. They weren't normally this frivolous with their money... One night, her parents laid down for bed, but stayed awake to see if their suspicions were right. Sure enough that night Yù was caught. Her parents, more disappointed than angry, sat her down for a long talk about her punishment the next day. First, they returned every last thing they bought for her that she tricked them into. And second, they opted to move her to a private school, one that they hoped would teach their daughter more responsibility and consideration for others. Her time spent in the school did teach her something. It taught her the value of secrecy. If she wanted to get what she deserved, she had to be more careful. Yù played along at the school, playing the innocent little Qilin, while at night she'd find ways to use her spell and practice it, making it better and better every chance she could. When she was finally free of the private school and now a young mare, Yù had even her parents fooled. That she got over her greedy ways and instead wanted to help others with her gift. Which perhaps the latter was a little true, the satisfaction of helping someone overcome their fears or better themselves was rather nice...but not as nice as the gifts she could trick them into getting her. Deciding to walk the line between greed and magnanimity, Yù decided to make dream therapy her profession. With her choice made, the young mare decided to leave for Equestria to set up shop. After all were her parents to catch wind of her deceit, everything she was working towards would come crashing down. And so with a fond farewell, Yù made her to Canterlot. For a time it was difficult for her to find work. Luna, Equestria’s princess of night, often helped ponies who slumbered with their nightmares, so many would wonder what use dream therapy would be. But the few who did come in soon spread the word, and more and more ponies came to get Yù’s unique help. And over time...more and more ponies brought the crafty Qilin gifts. Of course, certain groups have eyes and ears everywhere. And when word spreads through the common folk, you can be certain that word will spread to WRAITH. At first they watched, and then they sent in their own guinea pigs. To see just how well the Qilin’s magic seemed to work. And in time, they approached her in a more direct manner. An offer was laid out on the table for her. They knew just what she had been doing, the subtle messages to trick ‘weak minded foals’ into lavishing her with gifts. She had a choice. To work with WRAITH and earn a chance at more possessions and wealth than she could dream of, in time. Or decline and be exposed for everything she had done. Her choice was clear and the rules simple. Carry on like she had, get what she wanted if she so desired, help them with their petty problems. But now Yù would have to slip in WRAITH propaganda as well. The organization needed allies wherever they could get them, however they could get them and if brainwashing was what it took? So be it. And now Yù carries on her business, both for her own greed, and in the name of WRAITH. And what happens to her clients afterwards? Well, it isn’t her problem. At least, that’s what she tells herself... Character Summary And Personality: Yù is a very greedy young mare. Having grown up in a very modest home, she often wanted for worldly possessions that she couldn’t have which only brought her frustration. When she learned of the art of dream therapy, she quickly decided to learn and use the trade for her own gain. Which turned out very poorly in the end during her youth. But now that she’s grown she’s once again using her skills for the wrong purposes, and while she does have a good heart deep down, caring deeply about the plights her clients come to her with, her own greed motivates her more than true altruism. And with the promises of wealth made by WRAITH, she wouldn’t dream of stopping now. She’d be afraid of what could happen, even if she wanted to. Beyond her poor life choices, Yù comes across as a kindhearted and sweet mare. Often lending an ear to those around her, even when she’s not at work. She can often be seen wandering the streets of Canterlot, smiling and talking with patients and friends she sees on the street, or stopping in at a cafe for a cup of coffee. How much of this is her true kindness showing and how much of it is her keeping up appearances is hard to say. Text Colour: (#00A86B) Poison Joke Reaction: TBD

    Revenant

    From the album: OC Art

In terms of bad guys, Revenent is right up there with Heartless on my roster of characters. He doesn't succeed in securing the top spot because he can actually sympathize and care about others - he just doesn't most of the time. Formally known as 'Northern Star', Revenant basically deserted the REIN after he became disillusioned with the competency of Equestrian leadership (along with some personal trauma that he blamed on incompetence). He's joined up with WRAITH's mission to dismantle and disestablish said leadership, because that's what all the bad guys do! ...At least the cool ones. *emo hair flip*
