Personality: When not on the battlefield or commanding her forces Strawberry Twist is more like a sister or mother figure than a soldier. The pony doesn’t match the armor is what many of her battle brothers say. Mercyless to her enemies, but kind and loving to her charges, Twist is a mare of many faculties and a multilayered pony who doesn’t even try to hide many of her feeling behind a trained facade. Though she lets her emotions out, they never control her, instead they fuel her.

History:

Strawberry Twist’s past is a dark place and few other than the Elder and the ponies of the squad that rescued her know of her origins.

Twist’s parents are unknown, but at some point in her foalhood she was taken in by a highly barbaric and cannibalistic bandit cult. The cult believed that their warrior goddess would one day return to smite their enemies and fill their ranks with more goddess warriors, seeing the young Twist’s future beauty the decided not to kill the foal, but to instead raise her as a warrior.

By the time she reached maturity, the young filly had more blood on her hooves than ponies three times her age and ten times the skill. That didn’t matter though, seeing as she had completely the first half of her “true purpose” and now it she was old enough for the second half of her purpose her combat merits were worthless.

For almost eight years she was caged and bred every season like a racehorse. Force to watch as her foals were, if male, killed and eaten or if female, raised and subjected to the same brutality that she endured. Strawberry could do nothing more than become numb to world and retreat into the her mind. There she found a friend, it was her, but not her... like all being in that dark place it was like the her that wanted to care for her foals and raise them could be separate from the monstrous killer that the bandits had created. Surprisingly the two facets of herself got along.

One night, there was a commotion that she knew all too well, gunfire. Also as quickly as it started the bandit camp went silent again. Then she heard the metal clanking steps. Four ponies burst into her cell, all clad in strange armor. She tried to stand against them, but her body was too weak, and she fainted the moment she rose to her hooves.

Over the next few months Twist learned many things from the Steel Rangers that took her in. She learned that they were in a city named Stalliongrad, she learned that her new family were the protectors of all that was within the walls of the Stalliongrad and that they would help any who came to them. The entire feeling of the city warmed her, she had a place to call home and a family. Once her body was healed and back in tip top shape she approached Head Paladin Storm Surge and told him that she wanted to fight, to protect her new home.

Nearly 20 years later Storm Surge is Elder and Strawberry Twist is Star Paladin. Years of combat and training have turned her into a force of protection for the weak. She is one of the best Rangers at the Elder’s disposal and is trusted with the most dire tasks the Rangers need handled. Storm Surge allowed her to make a special team to deal with high priority missions.

The Elder, though confident in her abilities isn’t sure that she’s dealt with her past yet, so he’s given her the assignment to handle the Commonwealth occupation of Marelia as a test, a trial by fire, to see if she can handle the position of Sentinel.

Character Summary: [colour=#282828]Arik doesn't remember much from his old life; he doesn't remember how old he is, where he's from or even what his parents were like. All he does remember are his name and the words "grievous injuries" and "five point seven three chance of survival". Everything after that is a haze, until he found himself floating in a tank started awake by sirens (some sort of power failure maybe). He had no idea where he was but he definitely didn't feel comfortable in there so he broke out of the tank. His claws landed on the floor first with a metallic clank, he didnt remember if this was normal so he paid it no mind.[/colour]

[colour=#282828]He wandered around the facility which he learned was called stable 101 from the markings on the walls and the signs above the doors. The place was full of ponies, some with metal parts like him others without. During his wondering he stumbled across some ponies dressed differently with the word "security" written across their clothing. When they saw him the called for a "Doc Slaughter" over a wall intercom, he wasnt close enough to hear the entire context of the statement but he did hear "subdue" come out of the voice box. They tried and failed horribly, before one of the security ponies passed out he pressed an alarm and called out berserker through the intercom. Before Arik knew it he was surrounded by ponies with pistol and small caliber smgs. He barely flinch, but it was enough for them to open fire on him. He got down and covered himself with his wings and stayed like that for a a brief second. The pain was intense but not what he expected, actually the fact that he survived to the salvo to think about surprised him as well as the security ponies. After a few moments of confusion, one of the ponies screamed "sub dermal weave, grenade now!" Arik snapped out of his slack jawed stated and dashed straight at the ponies infront of him crashing through their line, somehow he knew he was headed in the right direction, how he knew didnt matter he just wanted out. He plowed through several other groups of ponies on his way until after several minutes of sprinting he found his exit, and when he got there it just opened for him. "Too easy he thought." But there was his way out and he'd at least try to see where it took him.[/colour]

[colour=#282828]Several days of wandering and he had finally come to the conclusion that this place was a freaking wasteland (yea i know right?). He decided that he'd take a rest on a small rock, he took up the position and began to drift off to sleep. Before he could even close his eyes fully he was awoken by screeches. A band of griffons must have followed followed him from the stable.[/colour]

[colour=#282828]They all could fly so fleeing wasn't an option. Arik took to the skies and met his attackers head on, their small arms fire did nothing but break skin and make him feel uncomfortable, whereas the energy weapons burned his flesh and made his underlying muscle warm up. He lashed out at the first griffon and slashed at his armor cause little damage. symbols flared up in his face as he battle with the griffon, the one that caught his attention though was a small picture of talons with the words "super heat" written over them, he focused on the word and symbol until he was pulled out of his pseudo - trance by a slight humming in his left arm. He looked down and saw that his Left talon had began to glow white hot, so he lash out with it again, this time easily cleaving armor, flesh and bone instantly killing his foe. The other griffons flew back a little at the sight, but not to flee. They brought their weapons to bare on Arik and opened fire, he avoided alot of it by flying but he was still getting hit to often by energy guns and i was starting to heat up his muscle causing sever aches through his side. He couldnt get close enough to fight, but he couldnt see where the fallen griffon dropped his weapon either.[/colour]

[colour=#282828]Two symbols flashed in his eyes, this time one was the an image of a cannon with a coil around it label Gauss rifle the other was a square with a small rectangular barrel coming out of it labelled gatling laser. Unsure of what gauss meant he focused on gatling laser and right before his eyes his right arm began to rearrange itself into a small gatling laser. He pointed his arm at the group of griffons and unloaded his laser payload, they began to drop like flies. Four were left, when their leader called the retreat, they took off in the direction of the stable as fast as they could. [/colour]

[colour=#282828]An out of range warning flashed in Arik's eyes so he figured he'd see what this gauss rifle was. His arm transformed again and this time into a more slim weapon with a presicion scope on top. He looked through and locked on to one of the fleeing griffons, he pulled the trigger and his arm let out an audible hum as the slug was fired from his arm. He took out one of the fleeing griffons as he readied his next shot he noticed one of the griffons turn around and ready a rocket launcher. He wasn't ready, the griffon launched his missile. Arik fired straight through the missile when it was only a few feet away from him, he took out the griffon but the explosion knocked him out causing him to plummet to the ground.[/colour]

[colour=#282828]He woke up in a bed, with bloody bandages around his head and torso. He asked where he was out loud, but he didnt expect an answer. A female voice answered by saying Arbu. He tried to sit up but was stopped by a lime green earth pony mare, who suggested that he stay still because of his injuries. Arik ripped off the bandages and declared that he was fine (he didnt trust this mare), when he lean up further a sudden sharp pain shot through him and he coughed up a small amount of blood (internal bleeding from hydrostatic shock). She offered him some "radgator soup", and he reluctantly agreed.[/colour]

[colour=#282828]He spent the next few days healing his internal injuries. Once he was healed up he participated in radgator hunt and easily slew many of the creatures. They feasted in his honor that night. He continued to live with the mare (Peach Fields), over the next few months they became close friends and eventually lovers. Upon their marriage the town revealed to Arik that they were cannibals. They attempted to get him to perform their rite of passage and earn an Arbu mark so they he could vote on the council, but he declined and simply said that his defense of the town and the love of his wife was enough for him. [colour=#282828]Years pased and eventually his wife died to illness, with nothing in town to really occupy him he took to flying around the wastelands and taking odd jobs to fill his time. One day he left on one of these odd jobs only to return to a village of slaughtered corpses. He was sad and enraged all at the same time yet, he knew something like this would happen one day. It was only a matter of time until their cannabilism brought the wrath of somepony with the friends and firepower to wipe them out.[/colour]

[colour=#282828]He cleaned out the town and buried the bodies. Sadly he began a new chapter of his life...rebuild Arbu into something.[/colour]

[colour=#282828]Personality: A little paranoid because of his amnesia and the fact that those griffons who attacked him after his escape never showed up again, other then that he's level headed most of the time and very ambitious. He puts everything he can into his whatever he's doing and respects everyone he meets until given a reason not to. He has a heart of gold and tends to help anyone he finds struggling in the wastes, often times offering them stable living in Arbu. Even though he is probably just trying to fill the hole in his heart left by his deceased wife and missing memories.[/colour]

[colour=#282828]Arik pretends to be foolish, not to say that he doesn't enjoy all the flirting, jokes, and general craziness that he indulges in, but to call it a ruse just isn't fitting because he's not faking. It's not uncommon for those around him to be surprised by his intelligence and combat proficiency when he actually tries to accomplish something productive, seeing as he usually shows that side of him only in dire situations. He really hates to fight seriously for extended periods of time, because the adrenaline and the cybernetics bring out a part of him that he doesn't like.[/colour]

Dislikes: Snobs, tight spaces, and being yelled at.

Personality: Split is cold, and tends to keep ponies at hoof’s length, the only exception to that rule being Ajax whom she is quite fond of, and often reliant upon. She will speak her mind often, and it will usually be sarcasm or light insults to the weakness of another pony. Despite all this she has a soft spot for the down trodden, and a strong sense of right and wrong. Her morals dictate her actions, and unlike Ajax, who leaves everything to luck, every choice she makes weighs heavily on her. But she keeps on moving despite this because she truly believes she can help other ponies. She loves explosions, to the point of obsession, and will almost always insist on watching them, leading to a slightly poor eyesight.

History: Not much is known about Split’s past, mostly because she never talks about it. She finds dwelling on the past unimportant and a waste of time. The most anyone could know was through asking Ajax about the time they met, when a quiet battle scarred wastelander showed up in Dise with the valuable platinum chip and a single objective. Kill Mr. House with a system destroying virus. But during the load up of the virus she was stopped by Ajax, and after a brief scuffle he quickly overpowered her and forced her back to the room she had been given for accepting to kill House. But Split had rigged a trap that shot Ajax with a syringe full of Med-X knocking him out for long enough for her to tie his up and explain her actions to him. About how House was taking money from the nearby towns, but then letting them starve or be set upon by raiders. She told him how no pony should be able to be a tyrant, and how what she wanted was for the betterment of the many, over the wants of the one. In his own way, Ajax accepted her ideals, and after their attempt to kill House failed a second time, the two fled Dise, with the intent of returning and finishing their job one day.

After several years there were visitors from the family of the father who approached them with a plan to achieve immortality and access to other planes of existence for the small price of few firstborns fillies and colts from them and their family the father wholly agreed with great enthusiasm. The mother was to the great surprise of the visitors and the father, slightly against the plan.

And after leaving the house with out her colt she called on her Dad to bring the whole family, who worked in the import and export business. To convince the visitors and the father to give the colt back to her. After a heated argument the mother and her family left the visitors place of residence with her colt and several other colts and fillies who had been newly orphaned. They left them and some of the mothers family members who had seen too much at a ministery of peace hospital then the mother and her family proceeded to live happily ever after.

The colt lived on blissfully unaware of the falling out between his mother and father and the heated argument at the visitors residence with the help of her mother who made sure no bad memories were left to trouble the little colts mind. Like many colts and fillies he went to school and grew up. but unlike most ponies he and the mother and some of her family members involved in the argument had developed a taste for meat that was quite unusual for their kind the mother and the family discouraged sharing this new taste with anyone.

And in time like many other ponies he joined the great Equestrian army to fight against the terrible Zebra empire because his technical know how he manged to acquire a position in the Royal Equestrian Army Engineers where he served with distinction for several years. He returned back to the home front horribly executed military blunder that had left his company short on equipment and personnel.

During the months before the great conflagration that led to the creation of the wasteland him and his company was assigned to relive some combat ready troops from guarding several precious stable sites. They arrived in their transports at a foot of a mountain range with a steep and a long winding road leading to their destination which their commanding officer instructed them to march carrying their full combat gear with the reasoning that the troopers had grown soft during their time spent in the home front and the great troopers that they were readily agreed and started their long march up the mountain road.

The stable located deep in the mountains in a picture perfect valley filled with natural wonders that were beautiful to behold. They spent their days patrolling the area around the stable and conducting military exercises with the stable security forces. After our engineer failed horribly at a attempt to training dodging incoming enemy fire into some large sharp rocks which left him slightly injured luckily for him the stable housed a fully stocked hospital that he was allowed to use while he was recovering his wounds. He was still recuperating when the last call to train for the possible attack went out for the future stable dwellers.

Then Balefire happened his company was left outside to fend for themselves when the automated stable systems closed the door. Our little engineer was slightly miffed at this development and asked politely if they could open the door to let his company in or him out to join them the overmare of the stable calmly explained to the little engineer that it was not possible to open the doors with out endangering everyone of the stable residents. The commanding officer of the company had realized this fact too and had contacted the stable to tell them not to try to open the door and for the little engineer to live in the stable, then the commanding officer proceed to take his company wearing what little environment protection gear they had to march back down the mountains to find and help all they could to survive the horror that had just begun.

This stable had the interesting idea to house its many residents in stasis pods over the long period of time that they would have to spend underground safe from the horrors that were happening above. As a few of the residents didn't make it in time to the stable there were extra pods left over for our little engineer to use to sleep and wake up after the surface was again hospitable to life. Our little engineer had some problems with that idea being claustrophobic after all for some reason in his childhood that he couldn't remember, the overmare and her security forces kindly convinced the little engineer to take a nap in the pod. When they finally awoke from their deep slumber +200 years later our little engineer took the first chance he got to get out of the stable with all his gear with the blessings of the overmare and the security force whizzing past his ears. After reaching a distance where the security forces couldn't reach him and he could really see a large portion of the Wasteland from the decript mountain road he thought to himself ”maybe leaving the stable wasn't such a good idea after all”[/colour]

It is equipped with a corrosive talisman on the pommel, causing whatever flesh based target, and some robotic targets, to suffer acidic damage in a half inch radius around the cut, The blade is inscribed with it's name on either side near the base.

Other:

Various medical supplies for use on self among various other miscellaneous items, one of which is a book that he rarely, if ever, parts with.

Food and water rations, and other such things necessary to survival.

Zebra Herbalism - Due to Miles' skill in Survival, and Xera's teachings, he possess the knowledge to mix temporary brews that enhance a multitude of stats, including S.P.E.C.I.A.L, damage/magic/radiation resistance/thresholds, night vision etc. that he carries with him. However, these benefits last only 10 minutes at a time, and after they wear off cause debilitating side effects, usually pertaining to the stat they enhanced equal to how much they enhanced it. Multiple brews can be consumed at a time, stacking the benefits and making them last longer, however it also stacks the duration and severity of the side effects. It is dangerous to consume to many however, as it is possible to overdose quickly.

Likes: Life, his occupations, any amount of time he can spend with his family, combat, exploring and discovering new things, being underestimated by his enemies.

Dislikes: Prostitutes, slavery, arrogant people, junkies, alcohol.

Character Summary: He was born in the Imperial Wastelands, the remains of the Crystal Empire, in a place known as The Monastery, a massive fortress housing a community within. It is the central hub of all Bounty Hunter Clans in the Imperial Wastelands. His mother was a unicorn local to The Monastery that worked in a bounty collection office. His father, a Crystal Pony, was a Hunter from the Ensis Clan.

There are many Hunter Clans in the Imperial Wasteland, and each is set apart from the other by a unique aesthetic or object. The Ensis Clan for instance, all used unique swords with deadly skill, while the Magister Clan all took a name that meant or had something to do with the word 'teacher'.

His mother's health declined significantly after he was born and she died when he was 4 years older. His father began to take him out into the Wastelands to train him. Miles showed an affinity for stealth, melee weapons and guns, much to his father's delight. When he was 14 he entered into an apprenticeship under his father and his Hunting partner, a Unicorn from the Magister Clan name Deacon, who taught him in the use of magic. When he was 16 his father was collateral damage in a firefight between a settlement's security force and a gang of raiders while he was gathering information on a target. Deacon continued to teach Miles for another year before he fell of the face of the earth after getting mixed up with some mercenaries from the Longcoat Company - a mercenary company that were notorious for their elite members and the long trench coats they all wore - that were Rogue Rangers from the Imperial Chapter. The book that he always carries with him was a gift from Deacon.

After he turned 18 and became a full fledged member of the Ensis Clan and an independent Hunter, he stayed in the Imperial Wastelands for the next two years, working as a Bounty Hunter and assassin before heading south into the Equestrian Wastelands to ply his trades elsewhere.

During his travels at the age of 21, he met a Zebra mare named Xera that spent her days as a Treasure Hunter. The two were wary and untrusting of the other at first, but ended up having to travel together out of necessity. Over the course of their time together they grew closer, both as friends and intimately. Xera possessed a vast knowledge of Zebra brews, and taught Miles how to mix them and the necessary ingredients to complete them. She also made a Bloodwing Talisman for him, however, it was destroyed a week or so later, after a run in with one of the Steel Ranger defectors that Deacon had aided, who shot it from around Miles' neck after he threatened the former Paladin. For the next 5 years, they wandered almost the whole of the entire Equestrian Wasteland and its neighbors.

Miles and Xera own a home in a successful and close knit community in the area surrounding the city of New Saddle where Xera serve as a high ranking member of the community's council. He is the father of twin foals, a colt and filly. Despite being a very family oriented individual, he spends a lot of time away from home on Hunts and contracts. As such he cherishes what time he gets to spend with them, and keeps a life tag - a device designed by an old Ranger Scribe based off the PipBuck tagging technology that connects to a terminal in his home, and sends an alert should he be killed - with him at all times. He keeps it attached to the book, which is one of the many reasons he never parts with it.

Personality: He is a very family oriented individual. While he may come off as cold to others when he first meets them, he can end up being very friendly and warm after getting to know him. He is a strategist and will often think a situation through thoroughly before taking action, which is one of the reasons he is primarily sneaky: To give him time to observe and think. Despite his normally kind demeanor, he is a very brutal and efficient pony while in combat. If he believes you do not deserve it don't expect and form of mercy from him. Due to his Crystal Pony genes and their positive reactions to harmony, and negative reactions to disharmony, he prefers things to go smoothly among his companions, and sometimes will try to serve as a voice of reason in disputes.[/colour]

This pony has a massive appatite. He can eat as much as two stallion's his size. Other ponies find this rather... shocking. He has one querk though... Kaioken is awkward around beautiful mares resulting in more of a shy'er demeanor than that of his usual upbeat positive self. However child-like or happy he is, if a serious matter is at hoof, Kai will treat the situation with a fierce seriousness. Life and death are no laughing matters. Also, he may not be the brightest of stars in the skies above but the glow in his heart burns brighter than the sun.

History: Kaioken grew up in the remains of the great metropolis of Las Pegasis. His family was one of the few Zebras alive in mainland Equestria. As such, he was picked on a lot as a young colt. This was until one day he stumbled upon an old library and found a whole section intact about martial arts. The collection was full of books, videos, holotapes, and audio tapes from legendary martial artists like Hooves Lee, Steel Eagal, and Rush St.Pier. The young zebra would spend hours in that library dragging home as much of this knowledge as he could. Soon after he retrieved all that literary gold, Kaioken found the remains of an old Prize Fighting boxing gym near downtown, best part was that is wasn’t irratiaded and thus still safe from the dangerous radioactive core of the city. There he spent days if not weeks on end on not stop training. After a winning several fights against those who picked on him, bullies began to leave him alone. However, they just shifted their targets. This infuriated him. As he watched them go to bully another. Never again… not to anyone. Kai then would stand against anyone who would harm those weaker than themselves. He took many beatings and dished out just as many for the sake of others, but they were worth it. They made him who he is today.

Today, Kai wonders the wastes. He felt stuck at home… as if his skills were beginning to wither… He decided that there is more out there than just death and sand. There are more good people who need help and more bad people trying to take advantage of them… even more so… there is so much more to see and learn. So he wanders… learning… helping… protecting… and smiling.

Anyway the announcement is that we are fast approaching Marelia. Now, I'd like to somewhat clean up the rp by starting a posting order. I don't know what the order will be yet, but I'll have it by the time we get to Marelia. We are also going to start using a dice system, created by Nexar and myself, for use with skills and special.

well you just use D100 and D10 for skill rolls that use the percentage skills and probably a D10 for SPECIALs dont see much problem with that or did i miss something?

And the reason iv not been posting after my last post is been working on some paperwork i need done.
