Coat: Her coat is the colour of coffee with lots of cream in it, so a really soft cream colour, she’s got a soft patch of white on her nose, and freckles on the bridge of her nose

Mane/Tail: Her mane is short and stops behind her ears, and is a lite orange with white cream coloured tips, her tail is short but is the same colour and has a gentle curl to the end of it, it is rather fluffy too. She always wears her brown Stetson though.

Physique: Ginger is lithe and wiry, with thin limbs, and a toned torso due to her constant zipping and buzzing around!

Residence: Born in Ponyville, now resides in Cloudsdale

Occupation: Owner and full time Barista at her cafe “Lite as Air” in Cloudsdale.

Cutie Mark: A single lightly roasted coffee bean with steam seeping off of it to form a butterfly, it symbolizes her ability to roast her beans just so that you get a flavor lighter than air.

She got it when she was a filly and was starting to learn the proper roasting process, but one day had a mild panic attack while watching the roaster, afraid her beans would be burnt to ashes! So she quickly pulled them from the roaster REALLY early, however the fragrant toasty smell was so pleasant that she tried grinding them and brewing them, the flavor was crisp, mild, and not as caffeinated as most dark brews, when the flavor hit her tongue she knew she wanted to brew more and more of it! And thus her cutie mark appeared.

History: Ginger was born in Ponyville to two earth ponies, her Mother “Sunny-Side Up” and her Father “Carpe Deum “ Both very surprised to have a little Pegasus foal, but not too terribly surprised, on account of Sunny’s mother also being a Pegasus. Ginger was named due to the fact that her coat colour reminded her father of Ginger, and the Kick came from the fact that the moment she was born she was feisty and rambunxious.

Both her parents worked as coffee farmers, they didn’t quite live IN Ponyville, just a little outside it, running a little farm that didn’t compare to the larger farm in the area, but it was a living, and a living that Ginger always enjoyed.

At the start of her life Ginger didn’t use her wings all that much, it wasn’t till after she got her cutie mark that she really started to use them, and quickly had them good and strong… so one day her parents surprised her by informing her she’d be attending the Flying School up in Cloudsdale since they wanted her to be the best flyer she could be! It was a teary goodbye but Ginger was more than eager to go! She was a very good student, and graduated 5^th in her class, which she was very proud of, and it was in Cloudsdale she got her first job working as an apprentice barista in a slightly old café called “The Cracked Cup” Ginger loved this little café and poured her heart and soul into working there, going from a eager young filly, to a very earnest and hard working young mare, when she wasn’t in the front brewing up her signature roast, she was in the back hitting the business books with the owner at the time “Coffee Grinds” When Coffee retired he left the store in Ginger’s hooves asking her to only do him one favor… change the name!

Ginger flew home to tell her parents about the business she’d been left in charge of, and how it had an apartment on the second floor so she’d be LIVING there now!

It was a teary goodbye as Ginger packed up and moved to Cloudsdale, her parents leaving Ponyville as well for the nice shaded areas Solistic Heights, starting their farm there! Ginger goes there twice a month to roast her beans in the family roaster then flies back to Cloudsdale to sell her wares!

Character Summary: Ginger is a spunky and sweet mare with bright curiosity , and a quick mind, though she can be a hard headed mule and dig her heels in at times. She tends to speak a little louder than most ponies just due to her constantly working around coffee grinders and such so that she forgets that she’s not around them at times!

She is a very loyal pony, though currently she doesn’t have many ponies she considers friends.

Ginger will always be there to cheer you up with a cup of coffee and a slice of cake on the house if she notices you are blue, and she’s got a smile and personality that can light up a room.
