Coat: His lower body is that of a lion, however the fur is jet black, His front legs are the traditional eagle talons.

Mane/Tail: His head is white feathers, and the markings around his eyes that make a cat like shape are red, the tips of his head feathers are red, but are always kept slicked back.

He has a typical griffin colored beak, and his tail is long with a tassle of fluff like a lions, the majority of the fluff being black, with the tip being red, His wings are jet black with the tips of them fading from black to red, the very tips being yellow to mimic flames.

Physique: Lean and slightly muscular, with strong wings, and sharp claws.

Residence: Cloudsdale.

Occupation: Flying Coach for the Jr Speedsters .

History: Finnegan was born to two griffins that had left BreakBeak for a safer and more secure area to raise their fledgling. He was born a beautiful black egg with red speckles, and was a adorable bundle of white and black fluff, his eyes were so bright, and his wings were already red tipped so his parents decided the name “Finnegan FireWing” was perfect for their little hatchling.

Finnegan was raised around Ponies from the very beginning, having been born in Cloudsdale which is a very pony populated location, as such he is a vegetarian like the ponies, and the protein he needs he gets from seeds and nuts.

He like most griffins had a natural skill for flying, and graduated 2^nd in his class! He was also incredibly good with working with others, and helping the younger students be the best they could be, so it was no surprise that he went on to become a coach himself at the Academy .

As a young adult he does his best to teach his students the very best, not only how to fly, but about team work and unity, not looking out for number one, but for looking out for the team.

Character Summary: Finn is a very kind hearted Griffin, though he has the cockiness known to his species, especially when it comes to flying, he doesn’t like it when his integrity is challenged, and if he gets mad often yells to emphasize his point. He doesn’t yell at his students though, since around younger foals and fledglings he keeps that attitude of his under control.

He is always eager and excited to meet new creatures , be they pony or griffin, hippocamp or Hippogriff!
