Cutie Mark: As a foal, Mighty wanted to be a great master of magic like his dad, Hoofcourt Magic. All of this resulted in him trying way too hard and would often end in frustration for him. Though he was a popular colt in his school days, Mighty just felt that he was somehow, incomplete. As he pondered who he was and who he wanted to be in the future, he saw one of his classmates, Abracadabra, getting teased. As if by instinct, he rose to her defense and discovered the real reason why she was so sad. Her story touched him so much, he made it his mission to help her gain confidence, even offering her a spot in the magic act he was working on for the upcoming school talent show. As the two practiced together, Mighty became more relaxed, more calm, letting his own magic flow rather than being ‘forced’ out of him. It was Abracadabra’s new found confidence that inspired him to perform well that night and the duo got First Prize. When his excited partner hugged Mighty Magic, his cutie mark appeared. It was as if his entire future came together at that exact moment: A destiny tied magic, stage performing and perhaps, Abracadabra as well!

History: Mighty's parents had great expectations for their son when he was born, giving him the name 'Mighty Magic.' Living up to the legacy of a father like the famous Hoofcourt 'Starswirl' Magic wasn't easy, but he worked hard to live up to his fame. Before he was accepted at Princess Celestia's School For Gifted Unicorns, he spent a brief time in public school where he befriended one of his filly classmates, Abracadabra. After they won a School Talent competition together, he fell in love with her. Even after he left that school for PCSGU, he continued to visit Abracadabra frequently and they grew into adulthood, they dated and one day, married. From then on, with the helpful encouragement of Hoofcourt, the happy couple perfected their magic act and took it on the road touring. They were very successful and a few years later, they had a daugther whom they named Misty Magic. Mighty and his wife often left her in the care of her grandfather during long road tours and between the three of them, they tried to help Misty with her magical 'glitches.' The couple continued touring even after their daughter grew up and moved out. Investing their bits well, Mighty Magic and Abracadabra are now financially secure, but still tour with their magic act from time to time. Both want to stay 'close to home' when they can, wanting to stay close to the elderly Hoofcourt. They hope to live a quiet life together in Canterlot.

Character Summary: Mighty Magic is a loving, caring stallion who is a wonderful husband and father figure. As a performer, Mighty always conducts himself with a measure of charm and grace when in public, even when he's not on the stage. He tries to get along with everypony, even with critics who say the magic act needs more 'pizzazz.' One of his character flaws is that sometimes, he tends to be a bit 'melodramatic', for lack of a better term, often he really 'hams it up.' Times like this, his loving wife has to 'reel him in.' Overall, Mighty Magic is a very nice pony.
