So I've noticed in the RP sections a lot of people use different coloured fonts and stuff to show when different characters are talking, I have no idea how thats done, I know this is a dumb question, but I'd rather learn and sound dumb than not ask and be clueless.

Hello. If you notice to the left of the yellow Smily Face (Emoticons) above where you type your text, there is is an icon that looks like an orange letter A with four colours. Clicking on that will give you a selection of several colour options.

In addition to using the formatting bar, as Lux has described, you can also do this through adding BBCode into your post as you type. For example:

[colour=red]Text[/colour]

Will look like this: [colour=red]Text[/colour]

Or, if you want to get fancy with your colours and use their RGB code:

[colour=#009acd]This text will be the same colour as the coat of the pony in my avatar, which is what I use for dialogue in RP.[/colour]
