Nightmare night had ended. The second invasion attempt of the changelings and their Queen Chrysalis had ended once again in failure. Celestia's magic had jettisoned a great deal of the changeling forces that remained in Ponyville and the Queen had been forced to flee as she realized thanks to the efforts of several groups of common ponies the bearers of the elements of harmony had been freed. The attempt to keep the princess of the sun restrained headed by the changeling Luxuria, had also failed. The the forces of the invaders laid in shambles and disarray and many of the changelings were left to their own devices with their sudden separation from the swarm.

A certain female changeling was also blasted from the town despite being an active ally to the ponies in the battle. She had come to Ponyville hoping to have a fun night but instead she was reminded why she always has to hide and only was able to drop her illusion among the family of ponies who had raised her in Dodge Junction. At first her hopes were greatly lifted when she saw Celestia free from her bonds but after realizing what was about to happen she couldn't help but feel a bit sad that she was still lumped together with these monsters, regardless of the Princess' parting speech that said she would be welcome back.

Aria... or Aurelia as she had first been named was left careening through the air and severely disoriented as she tumbled through the clouds. Eventually she managed to gather her thoughts and collect herself enough to start buzzing her wings to slow her descent towards what seemed to be the border of the White Tail Woods and Everfree Forest. She had hoped to at least slow down enough to fly before she hit the ground... she didn't.

Aria's wings had managed to slow her down enough she didn't hurt herself too bad upon impact but she wound up taking a few bruises as she wound up skipping on the forest floor like a flat rock tossed just right on a lake surface. With each bounce on the ground she let out an audible,"Oof!" each utterance of the sound decreasing in any tone of urgency as she slowed down. Eventually the changeling mare pulled herself up from the ground and started dusting herself off...

"Sweet Celestia...That was close...now ta figure out where the hay Ah am..."

It was supposed to have been a simple plan. She was to study the mannerisms of a certain pony to the point where she could effectively emulate her. She was then to take her place, and hold a costume contest on Nightmare Night by which she might deceive ponies into letting down their guard, allowing for many to be cocooned and captured en masse. It was to ensue in time with a number of similar operations through town, allowing for an invasion lead by their queen.

It was supposed to be an easy task. She had been told that her contest would mostly attract children and naive fools who would be quickly and easily blind sighted. Instead, she was met with the princess of the ponies herself, as well as a number of surprisingly resilient opponents who would not allow themselves to be bound or captured. Despite the forces she was given to control, and even the reinforcing force sent by her queen to secure the princess, against them all, Luxuria had been overwhelmed. She had tried her hardest, but there was no contesting with power. She had been left beaten and broken from the onslaught by the ponies and then the final blow by the princess herself. She had already been knocked cleanly unconscious by the time the princess used a pulse of magic to expel all of the changelings in the area violently from Ponyville.

The defeated changeling was effectively helpless as she was propelled toward the forest with so many others. The crash which bruised and broke more of the things inside of her that hadn't already been bruised and broken wasn't something she could have prepared for at all, even as the impact had her awaken just for a moment to wheeze and cough up some blood before collapsing again.

Looking at her would know she was at her very limits, that was if they didn't assume the lifeless husk of a changeling wasn't already gone. Her body was still, and she just had a look of fragility about her. She would not awaken yet though. She hadn't any strength to.

Aria's eyes were drawn to a nearby object plummeting from the sky, it looked like another changeling. As much as it felt weird doing so seeing as Nightmare Night had ended, She decided that it would be best to keep to her changeling form to avoid whoever it was that fell. The mare eventually managed to locate the injured Luxuria and just stared at her with a strange mix of anger and pity in her eyes.

Luxuria was the changeling in charge of the "Costume contest" where Celestia was captured for quite a while only to be freed with the effort of her subjects. Aria herself had been involved in this contest as ... well as herself in her true form as Nightmare Night had always held a special significance in her heart; it was the night she was free to drop her illusion and be herself. Now she wasn't sure if she'd have it in her to keep this tradition up after seeing the actions of her kind and the effects they had on the land she knew and loved. This particular changeling had trapped her in a pod of whatever that goo was that they made and Aria was a long way from forgiving this one for that.

On the other hoof she could see Luxuria was in bad shape and no matter how angry Aria was at her , her upbringing in the house of two doctors of Dodge Junction had given her that feeling of helping those in need, but then again Aria was in a very problematic position. If more changelings showed up while she was with Luxuria and the injured changeling woke up she might identify her as a traitor to the hive... despite having never been in the hive in her life. That thought likely wouldn't change any changeling minds on whatever they planned on doing with her if she was exposed.

She could take on the appearance of her sister like she had done for most of her life... but then wouldn't she just be exposed once the changelings who at this time would likely want a pony to be the last thing they saw... or the first depending on how hungry they were.

Laying her eyes on Luxuria once more she relented to her good side and charity. Her horn lighting up with a light purple aura she channeled some of the healing magic she learned from her mother into Luxuria, while it wouldn't heal the internal damage she had received immediately it would accelerate it and put it on the fast track to good health. It almost made her sick to do this but her pity overshadowed her feelings of revulsion at this point.

"Don' make me regret this, y'hear?" she muttered before trotting away and search the forest floor for an herbs she recognized could be used for salves or topical treatments for her and her.. patient's bruises. In order to lighten her mood she began to sing a slow but uplifting sounding song, her almost hypnotic singing voice would likely be the first thing Luxuria heard when she woke unless something unforeseen was to occur.

It wasn't long after Aria started patching up the poor Changeling hero (Hero to the Changelings, that is), that another screaming ball of chitin slammed into the ground.

"GYAAH~!" came a cry of pain as Bianca rose from her little crater, a bone popping here and there and as she tried to collect herself. "That's not supposed to bend that way..." she whined to herself. She soon got herself back on her hooves, smiling that she hadn't ended up too horribly injured like the last time she was jettisoned out of Equestria. Though her happiness was short-lived, as one of the very members of her squad slammed into her from the sky, sending both of them tumbling with a cry of "My spine-!" and finally a crash. Pushing her unconscious comrade off of her, the armored soldier changeling strained to sit up. Her squad had fought admirably, but it was no matter. She failed. The hive had failed! AGAIN!

After a few pained grunts and failed attempts, she got on her hooves again and limped to the other two who were present. Luckily, the Lieutenant had never seen this healing changeling before. She was more focused on Luxuria, however. She only knew who she was because of the brief of the plan before the invasion. "A shame... So much had been asked of her... UGH! Once again I must present to my Queen in failure!" she said, tearing up. "It is doubtful she will have mercy on me... I should have reinforced HER!" she said looking to Luxuria "But instead, I went to him... Snively..." Her burning hate was apparent in her voice... But there was no sense doing anything about it now. "Where did we go wrong? We even captured the Elements this time!"

It seems that Equestria was further from their reach than they thought. "I did my job in Canterlot, and we failed... I... I did my job in Ponyville as best I could... and..."

She heaved a sigh. "The Queen will have little mercy for me..."

But after her moment of self pity, she finally looked up to see the mysterious changeling. The waterworks stopped and Bianca's disposition immediately changed to 'suspicious'. Just as quickly as one of their own could change form. "Who are you...?"

Duskfall was already on his way from the Changeling cavern he had found himself somewhat trapped in earlier. After Flitter had dropped him off, Duskfall bounded along the edge of the forest and the grassland, hoping to keep land markers in sight so that he would not get lost. A bright flash erupted from the centre of Ponyville, and he saw several bodies being flung from the town. Duskfall surmised that some sort of barrier spell was cast. Perhaps that the Princess had been notified of the Changeling attack, or Twilight Sparkle had somehow been freed from captivity? Duskfall stopped that line of thought. No point left in it; what matters now is that most changelings (undoubtedly some changelings would have been indoors, and therefore not being able to have been evicted by the spell in lieu of a possibly more gruesome fate) were now scattered along the forests' edges.

At his peripheral vision, Duskfall noticed several changelings falling in his direction. With no other direction to go to other than backwards (and Duskfall did not want to take the long way home), Duskfall dove into the cover of the nearby brush. Peering out, Duskfall witnessed the impact of a changeling, who seemed to almost instantly loose consciousness. A few seconds later, another changeling, who oddly looked a lot more "pony" than other changelings, came around and began tending to the unconscious changeling's wounds. Then she started singing. . .

By Luna, she had a beautiful singing voice. Almost all common sense throw aside, Duskfall slowly, almost like in a trance, emerged from the brush and approached Aria. He hadn't even noticed the presence of an approaching 3rd changeling.

It would be several minutes before any of Luxuria's senses would be restored to her, even as Aria did her best to tend to her. The damage was severe, the beaten changeling barely able to do anything but breathe. However, in time, that breathing would slowly started to steady. Gradually cognizance would be restored in Luxuria, as the salves of her recent enemy helped to ease the immense pain.

It was still that pain which was the first thing she became aware of. She winced and gave a sharp whimper as she began to squirm on the ground. It was agonizing, but at the same time she could feel something warm on her. Moreover, she soon became alerted to a sound. It was the sound of singing. It was a feminine voice, slow but captivating. Luxuria wasn't familiar with the song itself, but she was happy to hear it. A small smile appeared on her face, as she lie there, becoming increasingly comforted. She had no clue what her situations was beyond her obvious failure and battered state, but the sound of the song made her sure that whoever this was, they had no intentions of doing her harm.

She couldn't, however, open her eyes yet to confirm anything. The pain was too intense, her body was too weak. She could hardly move. All she could do was just lie there and wait for it all to subside and for her strength to be restored. Though soon, a certain detail was revealed to her: wherever she was, whoever it was who was tending to her and singing that song, they were far from alone. the sound of another female voice could be heard in the distance, ranting about the failure they had been served. The words this one spoke summed it all up adequately. It truly wasn't fair, was it? They had worked so hard to make their queen's brilliant plan a reality, only to see it thwarted in the end when success was just in their grasp. It was maddening, and she was sure that all of them were feeling it the same.

This changeling's voice grew closer to Luxuria and her singing caretaker. She spoke a question which Luxuria was very interested to hear the answer to herself. Who was it who was singing that nice song? It was the pressing question on her mind even if she hadn't the strength yet to verbalize it herself.

Aria's song was interupted for a brief moment as an armor clad changeling mare fell from the sky, She couldn't help but give a slightly wry chuckle as she witnessed the changeling officer voice her problems. Despite being on the opposite side of the battle, Aria couldn't help but feel a tiny bit sorry for these creature, on the other hoof the sight of her plummeting form the sky and making a crater in the forest floor a bit comical. Aria Would have loved to say something along the lines of "Serves ya right!" or "ya got what ya'll deserved" but seeing as there was a chance the other remnants of the changeling forces would be involuntarily joining them it would probably be a better idea to play it safe for now. Going back to searching the forest floor she took a few more herbs from the ground and made note to grab extra. This was gonna be a long day of healing depending on how these changeling's behaved so she merely returned to her herb picking and then made her way over to the crater. Carrying a few of the herbs in her mouth the sound of her alluring song was replaced by an equally alluring hum which stopped abruptly as she noticed the sudden change in Bianca's demeanor.

"Who are you...?"

The question gave Aria pause. If she was going to keep up this masquerade she had to say something that sounded like a changeling name, lucky for her her true name was rather fitting for a changeling. the Changeling mare took a second to compose herself before she spoke.

"H-howd-- er ah'm ... I'm Aurelia... part of the ... Medical division..." she said with a slightly nervous grin. Bianca, despite her earlier behavior surely did not seem like she was the type take any guff from anypon-- er changeling who didn't outrank her. Aria could only hope desperately that explanation was enough to ease this changeling's mind. Suddenly she took notice of a Green eyed changeling with a missing wing and her jaw dropped, those doctor's instincts taking over as she dropped her facade only to try and swiftly correct it,"What in Tarnatio-- er what in the hive happened to your wing?! are you okay?!" This seemed like an excellent chance to ditch a bit of Bianca's suspicions by taking care of what seemed to be this random but badly injured drone.

As she galloped over to Duskfall she looked him over and was taken aback, a brow raised as she noticed that duskfall was relatively fine. the place where his left wing was was actually fully healed... poor guy must have taken a pretty bad injury in the past. Still not wanting to confront the injured changeling in the armor just yet, she tried to get a bit of help from this guy,"Hey could you pretend to be hurt for a sec? I really don't wanna talk to ... her... just yet." she asked him in a hushed tone before pointing her horn at him. Soon duskfall could feel a strange warm healing sensation run through him. His bruises likely already feeling like they were healing up.

Hoping that Duskfall wouldn't rat on her she soon headed over to her now stirring first patient. She huffed a bit and sighed as she looked her over, She was alot more beaten than she had previously thought but she definitely seemed like she was recovering although she was at this point unable to speak which was a bit of a lucky break for Aria at least. Despite being her enemy the previous night Aria felt strangely happy that Luxuria was recovering,"Miss Luxuria, you might want to brace yourself. I'm going to apply some salves to your wounds and it might... sting abi-- okay nevermind, I'm gonna level with you. this -is- gonna sting initially but It'll fade quick and you'll be back on your hooves in no time flat. If you understand, give me a nod... and if that's too painful to do just give me two grunts in a row or something."

Everything had been going so well with this latest invasion. Even better than the last, maybe. But...somehow, everything had fallen apart right near the end. Two flukes in a row sounded a bit odd, but...surely, that's what it was. The Queen's plans were flawless. It was all due to dumb luck or something that they'd both failed... And even though they'd made a retreat this time, those terrible and vindictive ponies decided to blast them away again anyways! So...rather than merely a failure, it had became a disaster, all over again. And having experienced it once didn't make it hit him any less harder, physically or emotionally. Once again, his fairly light--even for a changeling--body was sent flying, the blast having knocked him out for the most part. Just like last time...

Only, he felt...strange. Figment's half-awake body fidgeted slightly at some sounds around him. There was talking, so at least he wasn't alone... But then, he heard singing, which made him question just how lucid he was. Who would be singing at a time like this? With his eyes still closed, he groped around, and started himself fully awake when he felt nothing but air. Weakly squinting his eyes in confusion, he discovered that he was hanging upside down in a tree. No wonder his head was also pounding...

He'd almost wished he had just remained unconscious, what with how sore and exhausted he felt. But...he had to help the other drones..! Or maybe even Chrysalis herself. He took a deep breath, attempting to reach up and free his perforated limb from the branches, but winced when he felt a pain shoot through him, along his back and side. This was familiar too... This time he was more irritated than distressed, though--those ponies had busted his carapace again! Perhaps maybe even the same old fracture as before. At least it hurt slightly less this time. He sighed weakly, instead using as little magic as he could manage to free himself.

One of his wings was also a bit bent out of shape, so the landing was more jolting than he would have liked, biting back a yelp. After he'd composed himself a bit, he peered around the area, once again having flashbacks to their last defeat. At least he had a better idea of how to deal with it this time around. He immediately recognized Bianca--though, she seemed far more distressed than before, not that he could blame her. He didn't really recall the others, however. His main concern, though, was the one on the ground, who seemed in a much worse state than him or the others. At least, in the immediate area...

He stiffly and slowly made his way over, merely giving a small nod to Bianca, unsure what to even say to her after after the ordeal they all just went through. He just tried to remain stoic... This was no time for hysterics. Seeing some other drone appeared to be treating the injured, he was relieved that he wouldn't have to be the one to attempt it. However, he did give her a bit of an odd look, mostly due to her...off voice and manner of speaking. It wasn't entirely uncommon for spies and infiltrators to develop pony-like habits after a while, but...she said she was a healer. Either way, he decided to save any questions until after she (hopefully)healed him also. "I'm injured...but, probably not as bad as some of the others.", he informed her, not wanting to keep any of the more seriously injured waiting on his account.

It was then that he idly glanced to the drone who's wing she'd been concerned about prior. The nonexistent wing... Figment's eyes widened--he hoped this was some kind of coincidence. "Hello...Duskfall.", he said, apparently deciding to leave out the part about him being a filthy stray and a traitor. But he wouldn't pick a fight with Duskfall--not now. He wasn't sure about the others, though. He'd most likely rat him out eventually, after the situation became less delicate. Not that he had even tried to hide it the last time they met... Figment couldn't hope to understand what was going on in his head.

Hahaha! Hear all those fools who waited around to get blasted out of the town limits. Already injured as he was, Snively had deserted Bianca’s unit the moment it left Ponyville to reinforce Queen Chrysalis. Not daring to risk any more injury, the bureaucrat-by-day flew away to the north as fast as he could, sticking as close to the ground as possible to avoid detection by the Equestrian army chariots that started to emerge in the skies. Thus did Snively avoid the indignity of being evicted from Ponyville the painful way, and as he touched down just inside the Whitetail Wood rest, the coward got a prime spot to hear the rest of his brethren hurling through the skies.

While Snively may have avoided a collision with the ground, he had other wounds to contend with. His side still ached from being hit by a projectile, and his right eye remained blind from a scratch attack caused by… well, Snively found it too embarrassing to recall. Needless to say, the height-challenged drone probably could use medical attention soon if he wanted to have those fox scars healed and see out of his right eye ever again. The drone didn’t want to risk any possible mockery from his rivals should he remain permanently disfigured.

But instead, Snively scrambled into the bushes as he heard the sound of mysterious singing come perilously close to his area. As it sounded nothing like anything he ever heard back home in his Hive, the drone’s immediate assumption was that the intruder was a pony; fortunately, one who likely didn’t know that she’d soon be surrounded by hostile changelings. And so the hidden Snively experienced a shocker when the intruder wandered into his line of sight; it was another changeling, picking herbs! The other changeling got close enough the Snively’s bush for him to see that she looked different too, not as rotted away as any other changeling who live in the Kingdom of Queen Chrysalis. And finally, her seeming lack of haste and fear for someone who would have participated in a failed invasion only minutes ago made Snively suspect that something about her was especially wrong.

Lacking any other options at the moment, Snively decided to sneakily trail this odd changeling as she went about her business. Eventually, the weird hummer led the bureaucrat outside the woods towards a gang of more familiar “comrades”; those too dumb to avoid becoming Equestria’s newest ragdolls. To his delight, it appeared that his rivals Bianca and FIgment were among the ranks of the stupid… and oddly enough, Luxuria laid injured too. Snively for the life of him couldn’t understand why she of all changelings, a lovely lounge singer, was entrusted by the Queen to be one of the six sub-lieutenants assigned to lead one of the invasion task forces. As for Aurelia the mystery changeling, it looked like she was part of the medical division… whatever it called itself these days. That was lucky for the eccentric Aurelia, for Snively had an immediate use for her now.

Marching over to Aurelia with his typical pompous dignity, Snively was just about to get himself moved up to the front of the line. “You there medic,” the scarred bureaucrat barked with nasally authority; “Once you’re done with that patient, you are to tend to my wounds next. Section 68B of the Hive Code stipulates that the highest-ranking changeling in an emergency always receives medical attention first… and in the absence of our dear Queen Chrysalis, I, being an administrator, must be treated next.” Snively mentally patted himself on the back for always ensuring that many of the bureaucratic policies he wrote up ultimately served himself more than lower-ranking changelings.....

Duskfall didn't quite hear what the violet maned changeling was saying. A wave of warm and comforting magic splashed over Duskfall as he continued to stare dumbly at Aria. Then a familiar voice broke him from his pseudo-trance.

"Hello. . . Duskfall."

Huh? What just happened? Aria was now tending to an the injured changling, and Figment had just addressed him. There were also two other changelings, one with a particularly annoying voice. Must be a white-collar. His thoughts went back to how he had gotten himself in this situation to begin with. Why did I leave cover? Aria was busy trying to sooth the wounded changeling, and Duskfall felt himself being lulled by her voice again. With a bit of effort, he forced himself to ignore it and concentrate on the situation at hand. There were 5 other changelings with me at the moment, and it seems like they were trying to recover from the apparent defeat in Ponyville.

"Hello Figment. I take it that since you're here that you partook in this invasion?"

"H-howd-- er ah'm ... I'm Aurelia... part of the ... Medical division..."

The mystery singing changeling soon answered the other's question. Luxuria, addled as she was, wasn't entirely sure, but the sound of the voice sounded very familiar. Had she heard it somewhere, somewhere recently in fact? She couldn't be certain. The name Aurelia didn't sound familiar to her at the least. As she continued to speak, Luxuria could detect some odd manner of anxiety in her voice. She spoke oddly and fumbled over words. Just young and lacking in confidence following their failures, or was it something else?

The other changelings in the area spoke. Through the pain, Luxuria could only pay so much attention to what they said, but from what she was hearing there were at least five changelings in the area in addition to her and she didn't really know any of them, except, perhaps her familiar sounding healer. That was, at least, until a certain changeling approached and spoke.

“You there medic,Once you’re done with that patient, you are to tend to my wounds next. Section 68B of the Hive Code stipulates that the highest-ranking changeling in an emergency always receives medical attention first… and in the absence of our dear Queen Chrysalis, I, being an administrator, must be treated next.”

Snively's paint-peeling nasal whine was unmistakable. He was some boot sucking bureaucrat who could usually be found clinging to the queen, trying to find himself in her favor. He was the sort that liked to make like he was in control, but was all too easy to manipulate with a playful smile and some sweet words. Like a lot of especially hopeless male changeling drones, he was a regular at the club in the kingdom where Luxuria performed. Knowing the shrill voiced sycophant as she did, Luxuria was surprised to hear he had been injured at all. Wouldn't he have just hid in the queen's shadow or ran at the first sign of danger? Heh. Perhaps the queen had forced him to fight for amusement. If so, Luxuria really had to hand it to her.

"Miss Luxuria, you might want to brace yourself.

The medic changeling spoke to her again. This changeling did know her name, so perhaps they really had met before as Luxuria had thought. Was she someone she had met at the club? One of the other singers they employed perhaps? She was good enough. At the moment, it really didn't matter. She had no choice but to trust this changeling. She liked the sound of being healed and honestly, she couldn't imagine the pain getting any worse than it already was. She took a heavy breath and then gave the best nod she could. Perhaps these salves would help her. She needed them to. She took a few more labored, painful breaths and braced herself for the promised pain.

Aria took a deep breath as well, she lifted up several of the herbs into the air with her telekinesis and began to mash them against a nearby rock until they made a decent paste like salve. levitating a fairly large leaf to the rock she rubbed the salve onto the leave and placed the leaf over one of luxuria's wounds and pressed her hooves against the leaf over the wound with a good amount of pressure. the sudden pressure upon Luxuria's wounds would definitely feel pretty bad, but the added stinging feeling of the salve only made it worse.

"One... two... and three!" As soon as the purple maned changeling reached "three" Luxuria would feel the stinging feeling not only melt away but it felt like the wound the healer had pressed the leaf to was entirely gone... it wasn't but it was now much less painful and would likely accelerate the healing process. Aria Repeated this method several times until Luxuria's wounds were all treated. The internal damage the lounge singer had suffered still bad but it was likely Luxuria could feel Aria's healing spell working it's magic within her, if she was lucky she might even be able to speak soon.

"And there we go... well Hopefully you'll be able to .. speak again soon." just then it hit her... she may have just given herself a death sentence. If luxuria could speak then she could surely identify her and with the sudden appearance of another injured bit not too badly injured drone this could go pretty far south pretty fast... if she flew she might be able to get away since that one drone had a missing wing and another one's wing was bent out of shape. The changeling mare in the armor was in the pretty bad shape so she wouldn't likely be an issue anytime soon and seeing as she heard a cry about her she might have been overreacting a bit seeing as she'd seen Bianca move a few time in her crater. If Luxuria did wind up exposing her... she would likely be able to fly off and escape but for now she had to wait and see what happened.

"I'm injured...but, probably not as bad as some of the others."

"Okay... uh.. I guess you're next..." she said as she pointed her horn towards Figment and closed her eyes, only for them to shoot right back open and the glow around her horn to fade as she heard possibly the most hideously annoying voice she'd ever heard in her life. It almost sounded like nail scratching against a chalboard in the back of her ears as she spoke, she had to restrain herself from reflexively telling him to be quiet and wait... and after hearing what he said she realized it was good she didn't.

“You there medic,” the scarred bureaucrat barked with nasally authority; “Once you’re done with that patient, you are to tend to my wounds next. Section 68B of the Hive Code stipulates that the highest-ranking changeling in an emergency always receives medical attention first… and in the absence of our dear Queen Chrysalis, I, being an administrator, must be treated next.”

Huh... apparently these changelings had a code of conduct, looking back it made sense, ya can't run an army (or a swarm for that matter) without regulations. Anyway, this changeling's voice was nasally and almost painful to hear... she was starting to wonder if he had some kind of injury sustained to his throat, but while Snively had multiple scratches form what appeared to be an animal of the canid variety she saw no wounds on his throat, His eye was in bad shape too he definately need medical attention so that they wouldn't get infected. Seeing as the nasally one had managed to walk himself up to her and keep that pompous demeanor she assumed he had little to no internal wounds.

Turning to figment with a slightly sad smile that showed off her slightly undersized fangs she said,"Sorry Pard-- er pal but it seems our superior needs my help." before trotting over to Snively.

"Okay... just hold still." she said lowering her horn at Snively and closing her eyes as it lit up. Soon Snively found himself hit by a magical beam that steadily focused on his eye, any bleeding was swiftly stopping and if he opened it he'd find some of his vision was back and while fuzzy it was very slowly clearing up. Seeing as this was apparently a high ranking changeling she decided he wouldn't settle for the simple treatments of salves so she began to focus her spell over each off snively wounds, each of them slowly began to close up but they remained rather sore. After a few minutes of treating Snively she took a deep breath, she felt she was going to regret asking this question seeing as the answer would likely involve hearing that voice again.

"So... feeling better,sir?"

"Okay... just hold still."

Like the good obedient drone like she was, the medic complied with Snively’s instructions and worked her magic on him next. Snively was sure that dear ole’ Figment wouldn’t mind being cut in front of; in the operative’s own words, this injures were not as severe as those of the others. So setting his posterior down on the ground, Snively sat still while the medic performed her magic.

As the healing beam hit Snively’s body, he closed both his eyes super-shut as the medic’s magic did its work. The short drone felt tingling sensations all over his body, with the feelings being most pronounced in his right eye; the one that was blinded. However, nothing else seemed different at all to Snively; all that magic did nothing to cure him of all his aching. Some magic this was…

"So... feeling better, sir?"

Taking that as his cue to reopen his eyes, Snively did so… and found that his right eye was now a fuzzier, slightly lighter blur than before. Fortunately for the medic, her shorter superior didn’t come in with lofty expectations for the procedure, meaning she’d be spared from excessive complaints. “It’ll have to do,” grumbled Snively, in one of those rare instances that it did not sound like nails grinding on a chalkboard; “Not bad, drone.”

The moment of subdued gratitude didn’t last long at all, for Snively now had other plans to carry out. Marching towards the center of the group, he boldly ordered in his most authoritative of condescending voices; “Well drones… time to move out! There’s no time to sit around anymore. Come on now; all of you get yourselves up. We’ve got a Hive to return to; up-up everyone!” Snively had no intention to wait for the others to be healed; not while the Enemy was surely pursuing every last changeling.....

"I hope those wounds get infected you WORM!" cries out Bianca from not so far away. Oh, no, she was beyond upset now.

"Not only were you cowardly enough to flee rather than stand with our Queen in the forest till the end, but now you take medical aid from those who urgently need it?! I should've left you there alone! ALL alone! Medic, leave the child to his petty whining, there are those who are loyal that need aid!" By this time she had left Luxuria. She had the restraint not to storm over to him, so instead just went around trying to find the rest of her scattered squad. Not that she was afraid of approaching him, she was more than certain she could reduce him to a steaming pile of slag without much of a fight...

But it was harder to face the Queen with a murder charge than it was against 'she said mean things to me'. "Belay that order!" She would tell her soldiers... and the other drones, likely, when Snively tried to mobilize them all. "This is now a recovery effort!" She seemed desperately determined to take charge. She had had it up to her horn with Snively and him lording his position. Was she going to get in trouble for it? Absolutely. "Search the impact area, we return to the Queen with as many as we can!" The way she saw it, the more they recovered and cared for, the faster Chrysalis could plan and organize their next move! That would count for something, right?

Sure, she expected many of the drones to blow her off in favor of the higher-billeted member of the Queen's court, though at least what was left of her squad would stay.

Wait... This WAS the general impact area... This Aurelia... She didn't recognize her at all. She didn't even seem familiar. "Hold on... If you're with medical, you were darn quick on the scene...! I don't remember healers being assigned to any of the groups..." This was enough of a distraction to get her away from her tirade against the Administrator. She was probably going to get an earful about it.

Figment signed under his breath when he heard Snively's familiar voice. He was surprised to see him still up and about, rather than in one of the craters... He was not, however, surprised when he quoted some regulation that was convenient to him. "Right...of course.", he commented, resigned to getting figuratively cut in front of. At least he'd be getting some aid this time. He hadn't been so lucky after the last invasion, having he heave himself all the way back on his own. He simply nodded to the odd 'medic'. "Oh, I understand." He knew all too well what it was like getting bossed around by Snively.

Speaking of which...immediately after being healed, said Administrator was already squawking out orders. Orders he didn't entirely feel comfortable with, as he was eying all of the drones that still needed help. Apparently, he wasn't the only one unhappy with Snively. Unsurprisingly... At least he wouldn't have to argue with him this time. Alone, at least. Bianca seemed to have no reservations speaking her mind to him. Figment decided to chime in, but a bit more...calmly. "The Queen's final order was to retrieve as many drones as possible. Aside from our duty to protect each other...drones left behind have a higher tendency to become stray.", he said, hoping to at least try and add some logic to the conversation.

Figment then recalled that a stray drone was right there--Duskfall. Though, he was more of a full blown traitor. He narrowed his eyes a bit at said drone's question, as if wondering if he was being serious or not. "Obviously...", he muttered flatly in an unamused and weary tone. An equally suspicious and curious look then crossed his face. "What are you doing here..?" Duskfall seemed like the type to be unreasonably honest, so Figment merely decided to just ask him directly. Even though violence wasn't something he preferred...he figured if Duskfall was dumb enough to say something incriminating that he probably deserved it.

"The Queen's final order was to retrieve as many drones as possible. Aside from our duty to protect each other...drones left behind have a higher tendency to become stray."

Somehow, Duskfall felt like Figment's comment was partly a jab at him. Regardless, Snively's order to return to the Hive had Duskfall worried, until another one of the injured changelings spoke up against him, saying that they should work to rescue as many other changelings as possible before coming up with the next course of action. Between the defiant Bianca and the bureaucrat Snively, some time would probably be wasted. For Duskfall, that would be a good thing. Right now, he had no plan of escape other than perhaps going off to "pass a message" and then fleeing the area mid-route. Even then, that was leaving things to fate, which Duskfall did not like doing

"What are you doing here..?"

Duskfall smirked and answered ambiguously(and quietly). "Saving someone."

"Ma'am, I just came from the caverns. Perhaps there are still some stragglers there. If not, we could use the area as a forward position. It is definitely out of the way enough." Hopefully, while the others were busy with their search and rescue operation, Duskfall could escape and be far away enough before they realized he had fled.

There was magic in whatever strange salves the one called Aurelia had applied to Luxuria's wounds. Sure, the initial pain was as maddeningly intense as one could expect. It made Luxuria writhe and weep in agony as her entire body seemed to cry out in anguish. She wondered for moments if this changeling wasn't actually killing her instead of saving her. At the height of the pain, she stopped caring either way. It was terrible... but then, just as quick as it came, the white hot pain subsided and seemed to take with it much of the pain she had had prior. Instead, her body now seemed mostly numb. She still felt rather inert, and she doubted very much that she'd be able to walk just yet... but she was able to finally move her throat and move her face. She was finally able to open her eyes. She did so slowly, and, after the initial pain of the light, things began to slowly come into focus.

That's when she finally recognized her. Her recently opened eyes widened in shock. It couldn't be? It didn't make a lick of sense. Her healer, this Aurelia, was in fact the ridiculous stray blood traitor who had only moments ago been fighting against her intent to thwart her schemes. "You...?" she mouthed, in shock, her voice rough and feeble at first.

Why? This was entirely illogical, was it not? They were enemies? Why would this traitor who Luxuria had mocked as being a rank disgrace; a creature robbed of its pride and fangs, now hardly a changeling at all. She had plainly stated her contempt and disgust for this creature? Why now did she think she owed Luxuria anything? Why not just let her to suffer? Did she mean to excise some favor from Luxuria? Was she merely dim? Whatever the case, Luxuria had every good reason to call her out for her status as a traitor.

However, as a female drone in armor approached her, rightly scrupulous of her claimed identity, Luxuria found herself having doubts. She wanted to understand this bizarre act. Moreover, the traitor quite clearly knew certain things about healing that those in the kingdom did not. Maybe she would be the quickest path to recovering her strength if used well? Whatever the case, something compelled Luxuria to shield her recent enemy. She was in an unfriendly situation, the female drone, Snively and two others right in the area. If her identity was found, she likely would not last long.

"I can vouch for this one," Luxuria spoke up, looking at the female drone. "Like myself, this is the first time she's been a part of an invasion, If I'm not mistaken. I remember her flying around the scene after the reinforcements came. For what it was worth, she created a fair amount of chaos," she continued, framing it so she was hardly even lying.

Nodding, she turned her attentions elsewhere. Snively was being as impetuous as always. He wanted to move, even while Luxuria and surely others were hardly able to move their battered bodies. He truly was lucky to have walked away from the ordeal with just a few animal scratches by the look of it. Some changelings had to take dead on blows from princesses.

"Snivey, dear, unless you have the notion in your head that you'll be able to carry me all the way back home, it might be best we wait a while more," she said, her voice slowly regaining some strength as she used it more. "I can hardly move a muscle as it is."

Oh this was just PRECIOUS! Chitin snickered as he landed gracefully, before flinching, keeping one hoof off the ground, it was damaged, but he otherwise seemed alright "Well well THAT went amazingly didn't it?" It had been a colossal failure but that was not the Queen's fault..it was their fault..well the other's fault..

Mostly Snively's fault....Probably all of it really.... Chitin moved his injured hoof to gently slick his mane outa his face " Ghn did you TASTE that!?" He was giddy..at the last second he had tasted the ponies passion and love for their princess and it was the most succulent, mouth watering thing he had ever tasted in his entire life! Oh by the QUEEN the night was worth it to him!

"Nice going messing things up by the way"He added, stretching his wings slightly "The queen is going to be sooo disappointed we failed her" Chitin frowned glancing to the side, deciding right now wasn't the time to really goad his brethren like this "..Are you all alright? Is anyone severely hurt?" If they were by THUNDER the Pink pony will pay.

“Not bad, drone.”

“Well drones… time to move out! There’s no time to sit around anymore. Come on now; all of you get yourselves up. We’ve got a Hive to return to; up-up everyone!”

For a few select moments the nasally voiced changeling's tone was actually... tolerable. The violet maned changeling gave a little sigh of relief as the changeling voiced his gratitude,"No problem , Sir." with that Aria once again began looking over the ground for any other herbs she may have missed. The sound of the officer barking the order brought her out of her little hunt. She couldn't let these changelings move out now, one of them was horribly injured and more importantly Aria might wind up having to go with them if they still required a healer.

"Ah'm sorr--I'm sorry, sir but not everypon-- every changeling here is in any shape to travel just yet. The ponies are not likely to bother us for a while, they're most likely tending to their own wounded." Lucky for the Equestrianized changeling it seemed one voice was ... well not on her side but at least the side of reason.

"Not only were you cowardly enough to flee rather than stand with our Queen in the forest till the end, but now you take medical aid from those who urgently need it?! I should've there alone! ALL alone! Medic, leave the child to his petty whining, there are those who are loyal that need aid!"

"Belay that order! This is now a recovery effort! Search the impact area, we return to the Queen with as many as we can!"

"Hold on... If you're with medical, you were darn quick on the scene...! I don't remember healers being assigned to any of the groups..."

Well, it seems that reason didn't particularly like Aria. Seeing is it had to have been reason that brought the holes in her story to light. Aria needed to think up something to tell her, but with the sudden accusation catching her off guard she was drawing a blank. What could she tell her? Aria had no real concrete knowledge of how the changeling army functioned. Was going against orders or against the plan an offense punishable by death?! Suddenly Aria heard a familiar voice speaking up, that being the voice of Luxuria speaking in her defense!

[bg=#232323]"I can vouch for this one, Like myself, this is the first time she's been a part of an invasion, If I'm not mistaken. I remember her flying around the scene after the reinforcements came. For what it was worth, she created a fair amount of chaos."

"Y-yea! What she said, Ah'm sorry I wound up bein' more trouble than Ah was worth.. u-uh maybe I can make it up to your troops now?" Aurelia's panic had cause her accent to slip for a lot longer than she'd prefered, but eventually she managed to get rid of it once more. She could only hope these changeling's wouldn't make a big deal of it. Trotting over to Luxuria she began to look her over to see how she was holding up so far. Making sure she was out of earshot of the others she managed to whisper to the Singer,"Thanks. Ah appreciate that..."

"Belay that order! This is now a recovery effort! Search the impact area, we return to the Queen with as many as we can!"

It was so delightful earlier for Snively to witness Bianca go absolutely berserk over her delayed medical treatment. To think that lieutenant could do nothing but scream like a child as Snively’s wounds healed first… it felt satisfying to the max. But now, that military changeling got all uppity again, doing her hardest to issue contradictory orders. Snively and his ear-piercing voice refused to let Bianca go unchallenged; “Countermand that false order! Searching for stragglers only increases our risk of exposure to the Enemy! If the fleabags find our position, they’ll hit us with everything they’ve got! We’ve got to-”

"Ah'm sorr--I'm sorry, sir but not everypon-- every changeling here is in any shape to travel just yet. The ponies are not likely to bother us for a while, they're most likely tending to their own wounded."

"Snivey, dear, unless you have the notion in your head that you'll be able to carry me all the way back home, it might be best we wait a while more. I can hardly move a muscle as it is."

There were two changelings in the world that Snively could never bring himself to turn down. The first was of course, the divine Queen Chrysalis herself. Luxuria happened to be Changeling #2; a lovely creature whose beauty and voice surpassed those of the Queen herself… although Snively would never dare let his mistress know that. The bureaucratic drone would do anything to win the heart of his lady (or otherwise prevent any rival from beating him), and it looked like tonight, he’d have to acquiesce to the singer and the medic. “My most sincere apologies, my sweet,” Snively gently and graciously apologized to Luxuria, kowtowing to plant a smooch on her hoof; “I’ll give you all the time that you require to rest.” Pulling himself up, Snively in his loudest voice shouted; “New orders; we wait… but DO NOT leave the area. Anyone that strays away will be left behind when we pull out!”

"Hold on... If you're with medical, you were darn quick on the scene...! I don't remember healers being assigned to any of the groups..."

"I can vouch for this one. Like myself, this is the first time she's been a part of an invasion, If I'm not mistaken. I remember her flying around the scene after the reinforcements came. For what it was worth, she created a fair amount of chaos,"

"Y-yea! What she said, Ah'm sorry I wound up bein' more trouble than Ah was worth.. u-uh maybe I can make it up to your troops now?"

HAHAHAHAHA! Poor ole’ Bianca and her sorry temper-tantrums. Because the medic did the right thing by following Snively’s orders, Bianca couldn’t handle it and so attempted a pathetic scheme to sling some mud. Luxuria soundly put that whiner in her place however, and now the height-challenged drone will compound the lieutenant’s failure. “I’d say silent if I were you, lieutenant,” Snively jeered as he marched in front of Bianca’s face: “Let’s not forget that you were the one who decided to wait five minutes to reinforce the Queen. It was your negligence that ensured your soldiers didn’t arrive fast enough to aid our most beloved ruler in time. Make no mistake Bianca; you will be properly reprimanded for your costly mistakes. Especially…” here came one of Snively’s smug smiles; “If you keep slandering changelings like that healer who performed heroically in the line of duty, heh heh heh heh…”

"Nice going messing things up by the way."

Ha, even the lowly drones were convinced of Bianca's ineptitude. Snively chuckled some more as he awaited a response from his most hated rival, not paying any further attention to that one drone who actually meant to insult the administrator instead.....

Bianca was perfectly aware that she was likely making a scene, but this is important!

She sat herself down, glaring at the medical drone as she awaited her answer. She was about to repeat her inquiry when one of the drone's patients spoke up!

"I can vouch for this one,"

The soldier's attention was quickly drawn to Luxuria, listening to her alibi for the other. She didn't remember any medical staff being assigned to any swarms... But if one of the invasion leaders says she was there then it was enough for Bianca. "Very well." But then the mystery drone spoke up again, quirking more curiosity from the hive Lieutenant.

"Y-yea! What she said, Ah'm sorry I wound up bein' more trouble than Ah was worth.. u-uh maybe I can make it up to your troops now?"

That was quite the accent. A bit too... natural-sounding. She gave the drone another glare before eventually backing off. Luxuria was a trusted member of the invasion swarms... Her word was sufficient enough. But that wasn't going to stop Bianca from finding out more about this drone. "You can start by giving aid to those who need it. A serious need. Assess and treat-" Oh, but then came the Administrator's little threats. HA. Little. But seriously now. Snively did outrank her, a fact she had to painfully remind herself of. Sure, he could carry out his threats, but on what grounds? Bianca did succeed in her assignment: To reinforce swarms in trouble. And by the malicious look on the wicked, evil fox's face, Snively was in quite a spot of bother. To defend the Queen was her choice and she stayed until the bitter end, unlike Snively... But before she could say these things, there he was. In the worst place ever. In her face. Laughing.

“I’d say silent if I were you, lieutenant. Let’s not forget that you were the one who decided to wait five minutes to reinforce the Queen. It was your negligence that ensured your soldiers didn’t arrive fast enough to aid our most beloved ruler in time. Make no mistake Bianca; you will be properly reprimanded for your costly mistakes. Especially…If you keep slandering changelings like that healer who performed heroically in the line of duty, heh heh heh heh…”

THAT.

WAS.

IT!

Bianca's face marred with rage, the seated, larger changeling thrust both her hooves toward the little Administrator with great force. Things were about to get a whole lot more schoolyard! No words needed. A brutish shove was all she needed to be understood, wether this feral blow finds it mark or not. If the hive had a newspaper, one coudl only imagine the headlines. 'Big Bad Bianca pushes Small Snickering Snively'.

"Saving who..?", Figment responded to Duskfall's claim, narrowing one eye. He was both suspicious and curious of what that could possibly mean. Though, he figured it was probably one of his pony 'friends'. Or, maybe there was a drone he was still friends with somehow--which would get them both in trouble. And Figment wouldn't be above reporting it afterwards... It was his own fault, after all.

Upon hearing another new voice, he glanced back towards the others, eying Chitin--a...fairly rude and sarcastic drone. Though, they seemed to cut it out after a moment. "I'll be alright. I'm not any worse than last time..." Now with thoughts of his injuries fresh in his mind again, the pain became apparent once more, and he winced a bit. He looked back to the medic, though he did wait until Luxuria seemed like she was in a better state. It also seemed like she trusted this strange-speaking medic, which made him feel a bit less suspicious, at least.

"I still need a medic... Please tell me you know how to fix a fractured carapace.", he said, motioning to a visible crack on his more shell-like area. He worried someone on their first invasion might lack experience...but, she seemed to have healed the others decently enough.

It was while he was observing Luxuria and this medic that he witnessed an...interesting phenomenon. Snively completely changed his normally stubborn mind at Luxuria's mere suggestion. He also referred to her as 'my sweet'. Figment never thought he could ever be sickened by affection, but...there it was. He winced, though not from his injuries, but feeling deep condolences for Luxuria. At least, he supposed, Snively didn't treat all drones with petty cruelty. He also wondered if he could use this information in the future somehow...though he did feel a bit guilty for thinking of using that sort of manipulation on fellow changelings, even if it was Snively.

...Or maybe he wouldn't feel so bad, when he saw Snively very quickly went back to his usual self, irritating Bianca to the point of physical conflict. He was in no shape to do anything, which he didn't mind. If he got beaten up again, it was his own fault. Which...would delay Figment's own healing even further. He pressed a hoof to his forehead and sighed wearily.

"Please tell me you know how to fix a fractured carapace."

Obviously, this was addressed to Aria, whom everyone assumed to be the only one knowledgeable in any sort of medical manner. Having been on the run (and quite literally at that) from both ponies and other changelings, Duskfall picked up a few basic first aid concepts, mostly things that would only help if more trained help was on the way. It was something nonetheless, and in particular that something had Duskfall realize that Figment shouldn't have been standing with a fractured carapace.

"Woah there." Duskfall went up to Figment to help him onto the floor, bringing his hooves under Figment to try to keep his back straight. "First step to fixing that is not making it worse by trying to stand. Let's lie down, nice and easy."

"Now don't get me wrong here," Duskfall added quiitely, "I still don't like that you're still following Chrysalis, but you seemed honest when you said you wanted to earn your love. I'll respect you in that regard, though I disagree with your methods. . ."

Between the mysterious singing changeling and Duskfall, things were looking up for the small band of changelings. Hopefully, they would be able to get on the move soon. The sooner they did, the sooner Duskfall could find an opportunity to slip away, put the whole night behind him, and return to his daily routes. Unfortunately, the two major powerhouses present dissolved into infighting, again it seems. Bianca charged at Snively. Well then, this wasn't exactly the opportunity Duskfall was looking for, but it would suffice for his getaway. Duskfall began backing away from the scene slowly, his eyes darting between the other changelings to see if anyone was paying attention to him.

“My most sincere apologies, my sweet, I’ll give you all the time that you require to rest. New orders; we wait… but DO NOT leave the area. Anyone that strays away will be left behind when we pull out!”

Despite being in quite a lot of pain still, unable to move her body very far, Luxuria had to chuckle softly at this display. It was almost cute how easy Snively was to manipulate. Almost--the voice ultimately just made it kind of gross. Still, Luxuria did have to appreciate the power she had over changelings like Snively. She could probably tell him anything and he'd eat it up. Considering he was one of the queen's administrators, didn't that kind of give her a certain level of influence if she wanted it? All she had to do was whisper into this shrill-voiced leech's ear and he'd follow her like a blind, lovestruck fool. Luxuria almost felt sorry for him.

"Thanks, Snivey!" she chimed as sweetly as she could without bringing herself too much pain or disgust. She then smiled and shook her head as the blind faith the fool bureaucrat placed in her words lead to him getting into an altercation with a bigger, stronger female lieutenant. She even pushed him in the end! Ha. She had to wonder what the fool would do if he realized it was all for a lie. it truly was almost sad, though Luxuria didn't honestly care too much in the end.

"Y-yea! What she said, Ah'm sorry I wound up bein' more trouble than Ah was worth.. u-uh maybe I can make it up to your troops now? Thanks. Ah appreciate that..."

Luxuria glanced toward Aurelia now. She was making the story harder to believe with her unusual accent. The lieutenant really was smart to question her. it was a real fortune Snively was here she supposed. He would support her claims at face value, which would help keep the shrewder, less easily lead changelings more or less at bay or at least focused on him. All the same, this traitor really needed to watch herself if she wanted to go undetected. It was evident that she was afraid, but still.

"Appreciate what?" Luxuria started with a smirk toward her recent enemy. "I'm the one who has things to appreciate, so just do your best to act naturally and do your job," she added with a small laugh. She wasn't entirely sure quite yet how to feel about any of this, but she was curious to see where it went from here.

Aria's eye's continued to scan over the injured changeling's form, so far she was healing up rather nicely, although from her movements and gestures it was unlikely she would be able to make any long trips very soon. It seemed that the shrill voiced drone's tune changed shortly after Luxuria adressed him and agreed to let the changelings stay put for the moment. His orders regarding anyone who wandered off seemed like it would be a bit of good news; if she tried to get away hopefully none would look for her.

"Appreciate what? I'm the one who has things to appreciate, so just do your best to act naturally and do your job,"

Luxuria seemed to still be on her side for the time being. It would be a major understatement to say this was only a positive development. Aria gave her a nod and a bit of a smile before aiming her horn to her and releasing another healing spell over her for good measure,"You're feeling a tad sore right now, right? That shouldn't last too long and will fade in not too long so sit tight while I help the rest. Tell me if anythin' else starts to hurt."

"Very well. You can start by giving aid to those who need it.

"I've already been doing that, Ma'am but I'll keep going... uh speaking of which you're pretty beat up yourself." Turning to Bianca she gave the changeling mare a flat and slightly intimidating looking glare after she had taken that swing at Snively. Back at her family's clinic in dodge junction there were often problem patients, but sometimes patients who had been hurt the worse would be especially moody and sometimes altercations would arise although usually fights only occurred from hot blooded foals rather than adult ponies... but then again these weren't ponies she was dealing with.

Whether or not bianca actually hit snively she calmly walked up to the mare who was still noticeably taller than her,"Excuse me, I may be new but I am the only medical ...officer here and if you need me to do my job I need you too refrain from hitting my patients. Whatever issues you two have with eachother can be dealt with when you are out of my care... besides you're in no shape to get into a fight while injured -and- wearing all that armor. "

Aria's lecture came to a stop as she heard some other drone speak up regarding his own injuries.

"I still need a medic... Please tell me you know how to fix a fractured carapace."

"Woah there. First step to fixing that is not making it worse by trying to stand. Let's lie down, nice and easy."

Trotting over to the two changeling who originally seemed like they were ready to beat eachother senseless a few moments ago, aria was relieved to see at least these two had the common sense to actually help each other out; a very nice contrast to Snively and Bianca. "He's right actually Lie down and try to keep your back straight while I heal your ... uh carapace." she said turning to green maned changeling (AKA Chitin),"I'll get to you in a moment, just sit tight!"
