Cutie Mark: Smallcutiemark_zps30ee234f.png A glorious sun poking out of snow capped pointed mountains, symbolizing his brightness, love of the world, and natural talent for making himself seem"natural" to every surrounding, being a master of disguise.

History: Globe Trotter was born to a pair of travelers, they traveled all over Equestria doing general explorer things, raiding ancient runes, doing digs and the like, uncovering long lost artifacts of the past (and hawking them off to nearby pawn shops) Nothing really dangerous at all, with his father being an archaeologist, and his mother a very dedicated botanist, knowing the ins and outs of every plant she could , they were a great team! When his mother Agate Leaf became pregnant with their son, Amethyst Pick decided that they would settle down in a nice cottage in White Tail Woods to raise their child.

Globe Trotter was born one crisp fall morning, and to his parents dismay was missing the hoof of his back foot, no real reason why, these things just happen, however Amethyst Pick was never one for giving up and had a great idea! He darted off to the nearest small town and spoke to a blacksmith! Using a bit of light wood, some metal for a weight, and the inside lined with soft sheeps wool he made a wooden leg for his babe, with the idea that if he grew up with it, he'd never even know it was missing!

Globe Trotter grew up like any other foal, he was so used to his leg that he honestly didn't notice it, save for when he'd trip over something he didn't feel, but he'd always get up and brush himself off and kept going.

One day he was out with his friends, frolicking around the woods when they caught sight of a cave, a adventuring looking pony with a tattered old fedora came out of the cave in the mountain, in his mouth was an amazing amazing artifact, a clay pot encrusted with jewels! Why Being the aspiring archaeologist that he was Globe Trotter ASSUMED it was a vase from the pony of legend, PRINCESS PLATINUM!

Being Wiley and clever he pondered, before messing his hair up and coughed to adjust his voice, taking on a Trottingham accent, approaching the adventure and asking him if he might needed help carrying the treasure back to town, the stranger agreed and handed it to the youngster, they trotted together for a bit, the stranger seeming a bit off the whole way, and when they got there, Globe Trotter let out loud "FOOLED YOU!" Bolting to the towns museum, clutching his prize for dear life!

When he got there and presented it he was beaming, he loved artifacts and did feel it belonged at that museum, and had been more than happy to yoink it away from the other, though upon expecting the vase, alas it wasn't one of Princess Platinum's ,however it was a very nice vase that supposedly belonged to a once famous aristocrat in White Tail woods!

Globe Trotter was beaming, when the stranger (and both his parents) approached, his father looking mad, his mother looking upset, but the stranger grinning, He hadn't quite seen through the others disguise but when he ran in to his older brother and his brothers wife he told them about the "Little Ginger haired colt" that wore a scarf that had stolen his artifact! THEY had recognized their sons description instantly and were very angry at him for stealing!

However the stranger, who was his uncle Thunder Stealer, just chuckled and ruffled the boys messy mane and asked him "Why did you steal it?" Globe Trotter explained he wanted it to be in the museum, and had thought it was Princess Platinum! He couldn't bear the idea of a treasure being hawked off! Thunder Stealer understood and smiled "Well boy you did what you thought was best, fooled me good..and heck got your cutie mark to boot!"

Globe Trotter's eyes widened and he glanced at his flank! Joyous to see the ginger colored sun peeking behind the mountains! symbolizing his love for artifacts, his natural talent for hiding, and his love for the world around him.

Globe Trotter from that day forward studied diligently to be like his father! Following in his hoofsteps! And when he achieved his goal as a grown stallion, he went off into the world to explore and find more artifacts!

His natural talent for disguise came in immensely handy, disguising himself as a bumbling Humdrum (from the comics, he does love comics!) esque character with no other desire but to work alongside other famous archaeologists! And at the last second reveals his true self and gets away with the goods!

As he grows older though he has started hawking some of the very artifacts he once believed belonged in museums, perhaps he's getting too wrapped up in the glamour of adventuring to focus on why he chose to do so in the first place?

Character Summary:-Globe Trotter is a formerly meaning well stallion who has mildly given in to the glamorous side of adventure, having very little problem disguising himself to get the jump on others that explore, and snatching the prize from their own hooves before making a speedy get away! Granted if it's something with significant historical value he feels a great sense of pride from handing them over to a museum to preserve, but if it's shiny and valuable he has no problem hawking it to someone for the right amount of bits!

He writes about his adventures in journals, but tends to sugarcoat small details to make the stories seem more glamorous, painting himself as a sort of "Robin Hoof" esque good guy, rather than the slightly underhanded crook he really is!

He has a deep fondness for foals and youngsters though, and is happy to tell them all about his adventures, an avid reader of the Daring Do books (having looked up to them in his young stallion years) and hopes to one day be as famous as she is... despite her being pure fiction.

A good guy turned slightly wretched, in the end Globe Trotter is a well meaning but utterly blindsighted stallion, with good intentions and poor execution, with a deep love of history, wanting to preserve it, and ofcourse

ADVENTURE!
