Arrow picked a few stallions and headed to the distant ships in the brigate. "im sure you heard the captain but i'll say it again, capture both captains and destroy the ships. the navigator is mine. are we clear?"Arrow pushed the throttle on the small ship as well. she had had it installed. the small crew she had brought allong looked at the two ships. how could the handful of them deal with two ships full of ponies? "i said, are we clear? "but what....?" he didn't get to finish because Arrow had pushed him off the brigate sending him hurling towards the distant earth below "anypony else have complaints?" she asked in almost a whisper as the were nearing the Angel Wings unnoticed. she made a signal to board and on of the stallions threw a grappling hook up, hooking on the side of the ship. still unnoticed as everyone was focusing on the Mary. the stallions climbed up first and then Arrow last.Star had heard something like a clink but she guessed somepony just dropped something. then she heard hoof steps right on the side of the ship... what were they doing..? she turned to see Arrow and her men. about a dozen yards away from her. she got between Valor and them "Valor, stay behind me!" she drew her sword defensivly. more worried for Valor then herself. she knew he was well capable of taking care of himself but not against her sister."destroy the engines. this ship will destroy itself. find the captain and then we'll head to the Ursa." Arrow said like cutting knives. when the stallions left to find Wind Arrow advanced on Star and Valor. mostly Star she could care less about Valor. "hello sister.i like your knife. its so cute how you think you can protect this little colt! to bad he'll be going down with the rest of this sorry ship. but thats always what you've been isn't it? cute.and deception. making our parrents forget almost completely about me just so that you would get some attention. just to turn around and dishonor their affection for you by turning into a pirate, sad really." Arrow said like cutting swords, still advancing on the two.Star clenched her teeth. she knew Arrow was just trying to get under her skin but it was working. Killjoy Posted January 10, 2014 Report Share Posted January 10, 2014 Killjoy races out of her cabin and took the wheel "Lower side rockets and put the engines on over time!" she yelled out. two massive rockets unfold from the hull and started up and The Ursa went powering through the sky to keep up with fast ship. "Now I want us between that ship and the Angel, we are there escort!" she yelled loudly as her crew raced to there position. The Ursa was not as fast as the Angel but it was doing better than expected as the massive fortress started to get further and further away from their ship. "We aren't going to catch them...get the frontal guns ready!" Killjoy barked, what the Ursa lacked in the number of guns, they made up for in range and size. Four slots opened up from the bow and four big cannons were pushed into position, "make those shots count, we don't want to hit the ship we are escorting!" FireStorm yelled as the huge guns fired making a loud boom that echoes through the clouds, the shot from the cannons made the Ursa kick back. The shells shot from earlier impact into Arrow's ship. The Ursa struggled to get on the other side of the angel and Killjoy then said calmly "now we both know what is about to happen, you are up against The best Crusader ship and the best Sky patrol frigate....I am a nice Mare, I will let you leave and take your tattered ship back to the Mary/" All Killjoy's soldiers are aiming their rifles and swivel guns at arrow's boarding party, "not only are you outmatched...you are out numbered...you seem to be a practical Mare...retreat and save your crew...or die, achieving nothing" Killjoy said waiting for Arrow's reaction. XanXeto Posted January 10, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 10, 2014 Wind turned when he realized that they were being boarded, followed by loud explosion sounds when the torpedoes hit their target. Men from the Mary were upon his ship, but the Mary was about a mile away from them now, so how did they make it all the way here? It was then he noticed one particular mare on the upper deck, Arrow, staring down at both her sister and Valor. He gritted his teeth some and began to rush towards the stairs, only to be stopped by a group of marines with their swords drawn. WindCatch narrowed his eyes and drew his swords, clashing swords with one of the marines before rushing forward and smacking the marine in the face with the broadside of his sword, leaving a mark on the marine's face without cutting him. The marine fell to the ground, placing his hooves on his face and rolling about, feeling the searing pain all throughout his face and even thinking that his skull cracked in two. The other marines turned to try and go after him, but were met with the rest of Wind's crew, swords drawn and ready for a fight.Valor stood behind Star, looking at her sister with a twinge of fear welling inside his stomach. He didn't know what to do, but something inside him also wanted him to fight and protect Star, just as she was protecting him. "No." He simply said as he walked forward and stood beside Star, taking out a tiny dagger that he always carried on him. "If you're going to fight us... I'm not going to sit back and let you hurt her." He said, placing the hilt of the dagger in his mouth and getting ready to combat her when she charged at them. Just as he did, another colt rushed up behind Arrow and knocked the two marines that were behind her off the ship, back onto the frigate down below. "Ah! So that's how you got here." Wind said, then looked at Arrow and grinned. "Arrow, Arrow. Is this how you get your kicks? Picking fights with ones younger than you?" He said as he circled around her and then looked her in the eyes. "Come, I know why you're here. Question is, when you fail to catch anyone, how will my brother feel about you?" He said, keeping his grin and taking a few steps back so that she wouldn't try and immediately gut him. Valor's eyes widen, such timing Wind had, he then remembered what he said about his brother having good timing on ruining things. 'That trait must run in his family.' He thought, keeping the dagger in his mouth just in case. "Star, Valor, stay behind me." WindCatch said, his voice becoming serious. He then looked over at Killjoy and her party. Killjoy Posted January 10, 2014 Report Share Posted January 10, 2014 Killjoy sighed. Blast brought a vest with six pistols strapped to it and a Cutlass, he had a blunderbuss in the other hoof. Killjoy grabbed them and put on the vest "well time to go in colts!" Killjoy yelled as her soldiers boarded the Angel and started firing on the Sky patrol crew, Killjoy was whipping out her pistols firing into the Marines. She then turned to a group of marines and fire her blunderbuss into the group and 3 of them fall dead. Her sword raised high after she dropped the big gun and charged in clashing swords with the rest of the Marines. Killjoy Posted January 10, 2014 Report Share Posted January 10, 2014 Blast Beat turned the bow towards the Frigate and gave it one last shot with the Hydra cannons, The giant Torpedoes went flying into its hull and one hit the Frigate's engine causing a fire. "I want this ship gone." Blast Beat yelled as her turns the Ursa Broadside, what Blast Beat loved most about the Ursa was that it could turn on a bit. The broadside now aimed at the Frigate and shot a volley into the frigate as it started to burn and start falling towards earth. Killjoy however was slashing through sky patrol Marines. The Ursa rose besides the Angel again and awaited Killjoy to return. The swivel guns opened fire on the Marines attacking the Angel. Loud cracks were heard as the guns fired, Blast Beat knew the urgency and seriousness Killjoy took her missions and agreements so he didn't want to disappoint her. She really was something else, helping to clear the threat that was upon his ship. When she said she would protect her, she really meant it. He then looked down at Star Reader and shook his head. "True, she is your sister, but I'm not about to stand idly by while you two are in danger." He said with a soft smile, then looked at Arrow. "I like your determination, too bad that you're on the wrong side of my sword. You've already lost, so I'll give you one chance; turn back to your burning ship and pray my brother sends a rescue party for you before you plummet down to the Earth, or stay upon this ship and be our captive... or die a very painful death." He said the last option in a cold tone as he stared her down. Valor still had his knife out, awaiting for Arrow's decision. He said as he pulled out sword again that was strapped around his side, but instead of pointing it towards Arrow, he spun it around and handed the hilt of the sword to Star as he continued to talk. "...but you go ahead and take first swings, that is if you still want to." He said, yet he didn't keep his eyes off of Arrow for no reason. Valor began to look worried, Star did seem determined, and this was her sister, but he got a bad vibe off of Arrow, more so than just her being the enemy. There was something off about this whole encounter, yet he couldn't see what. That was when he looked to the side, seeing the Mary had completely descended down, looking as if the ship went any lower it would touch the ground. His ears folded flat as something came through his mind, what if Arrow did fall? Would that spell the end for them all, allowing StormRide to open fire upon them. Fear crept up on his spine, but he soon shook his head and focused on the danger on the ship right now.StormRide looked through a telescope, looking right at the Angel Wings as he saw Arrow, her sister, and his brother along with another colt that he didn't know about nor care about. 'Wrap it up, Arrow. Stop playing around.' He thought as he put the telescope away, then his attention was caught by another crew member. "Captain! There's another ship is coming towards from astern!" Storm turned and started walking to the back of the ship, then pulled out the telescope, looking through and seeing the Kestrel. "Leave it. That ship isn't registered as one of the Crusaders. SongHeart Posted January 11, 2014 Report Share Posted January 11, 2014 Star was thinking the same thing. if Arrow fell, or even if she took to long, StormRide would open fire. or just send more. she had to get Arrow away from the wheel so Valor could get them out of there saftly. she backed away from the wheel a little. Arrow followed. she backed up to about the middle of the main deck against the side. where the dingy was in case Arrow pushed her off."your an idiot, you walked right into it."Star thought about the dingy again. "yes. yes i did...." she knew Arrow would have a plan. and she was going to be the bait. she opened her wings ready to bolt."you are so gullible." as Star was getting her wings ready Arrow kicked her into the dingy below. Star landed on her wing and almost fell out and had to hang on. as she hung on Arrow flew down. now if you want to stay in one piece you'll stay put." she said pulling out a pistol. starting the engine of the dingy. cutting the ropes that held it to the ship with her sword Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
