[Ponyville]The Foal Cooking Contest of Culinary Deliciousness and Doom[See OOC]

It has been ages since JavaSun's last visit into the town of Ponyville. He had always adored the life outside of a city. Much quieter, less high-nosed snobs, and of course the beautiful night sky that was always masked back in Manehatten or in Canterlot. He made the journey from the mountain tops of Canterlot, down below to return some books he had checked out to the town's library after he was threw with them. But the posters of some grand contest had caught his eyes. Something about... an iron chef contest? And in the search of judges?

The thought of such a thing quickly came off as fun, and another good way to relax after a long nights worth of work. And so, he tore across the field to the town hall, and pushed his way through the doors. His excited expression, soon turned to a look of confusion as he slowly canters across the room up to the judge table. His wide and alert eyes shifting between foals and colts who were scrambling about with ingredients in their teeth. His gaze then turned to the judges, spotting a rather displeased looking griyphon and a few others.

He took his place at the table, and donned the Sash before finally looking to the others, "Erm... I am JavaSun. I'll be one of the judges today." he hummed, raising a jittery hoof up to his chin, "I am going to assume the rest of you.... know who the chefs are?" The pony himself was actually... very jittery. In fact, he smelled heavily of coffee and his eyes seemed to twitch every so often. Though he wasn't at his worst stage quite yet. His mane was straight and neat, lying on both sides of his head, but giving enough room to expose a pair of yellow tinted glasses.

He leans a bit closer to the Gryphon, "Is... it... the children, yes?"

"Hey Bebby!", she gave the girl a quick hug, "Don't worry about being a little on the late side as we're all starting to get ready. Oh, I'm not sure if you two have met before.", she nodded at the griffon, "This here is my old pal Glimmer, and this is my slightly newer friend Bebop. Glimmer..Bebop...Bebop..Glimmer."

The filly chuckled a bit at at the greeting Wind had given her. "Bebby" was a new nickname it sounded almost like a butchered way of saying 'baby'. Once she was brought into the hug the blonde maned unicorn hugged Wind tight in return. Soon Wind decided to introduce Bebop to her friend, a nice looking griffin with a pretty little bow, bebop looked forward to conversing with a fellow bow aficionado.

Levitating her pencil to her notebook once again she swiftly wrote down a greeting on a page. Without a moment's delay she levitated the page to her new furred and feathered friend. One the paper it said that she was happy to meet her and that it was so cool to meet a griffin in the flesh... and fur... and feathers. On the bottom of the paper it asked on the bottom if she wouldn't mind letting her use on of her feathers as a quill if she breaks her pencil, a small smiley face with a tongue sticking out implying she meant it playfully.

She blinked as she was handed a very nice little note from another unicorn, and smiled and let out a little *squee*. She pulled out her own little piece of paper, and a pencil, and took it in her mouth. She twisted the pencil up so she could tap it against her nose a couple times, then wrote down her name, and a "Good luck!" and she drew the best little four-leaf clover that she could! She gave it back to the nice unicorn who had given her the note!

This filly was fun! She didn't meet many who were willing to reply in kind with her notes. Usually they stuck to the typical spoke word reply, how boring was that? This Filly looked pretty friendly too. Come to think of it hadn't she seen her before at school? Oh that's right, she was Applebloom and Scootaloo's Friend; Sweetie Belle. It was nice to finally meet the third member of their infamous little trio of crusaders, Bebop would have to make sure she spoke to her a little longer with her later.

Bebop was still waiting on the reply from the judges... but oddly enough none of them even said a thing to her! They didn't even read her note! They were sitting there talking to each other even after Bebop had come in. Well that's no way to treat a contestant. If there was one thing Bebop hated, it was being ignored or forgotten. Luckily for her she always carried something for these cases. Before she finished her hellos to Glimmer, Wind Walker, and Sweetie Belle she was going to get this cleared up. She'd also prepared some note to warn those nearby as to what she was about to do, levitating a few of those noted from her bags she slid one to each participant; on them it said they should cover their ears.

The little filly's horn lit up and soon she pulled something from her bag. The item she retrieves appeared to be a plastic horn of somekind attached to a medium sized can. On top of the device the was a button that the filly slowly lowered her hoof to with a positively devilish grin which dissolved into an innocent and sweet smile upon impact. As soon as she put her hoof down there was a VERY loud sound that blasted in the Judge's table Direction. As soon as the noise ended the filly casually strolled up and slid the note she left on their desk closer to them (see previous post).

It was an Air horn. A REALLY loud Airhorn:

"Hmmm?", Wind Walker glanced over at the small crowd of ponies watching their little event. She couldn’t help but notice more than a few had fire extinguishers at their side. Several kept first aid kits as well. "Oh yeah! It's gonna be so tasty, it will introduce our super lucky judges into a whole new, magic world of taste-station!", she smiled as her griffon friend did a little stunt before turning her attention back to her station. "What the heck am I gonna make?", she noticed the little white unicorn had already taken out a pot and was already boiling water! The Pegasi needed to step up her game, or she would end up LOSING this! Oh the horror!

The filly quickly hooved her way through her over-sized cook book, desperately trying to find a recipe that would win her the coveted....She glanced over at the judges and wondered what they were gonna give the winner. As she pondered this, she realized her hoof had stopped in the middle of the book. Curious where she ended up, the pony creaked open the book to find the receipt for 'Chocolate Cinnamon Cake'. Oh boy! Everypony loves chocolate cake! It looked rather simple.

After turning her stove up to 400 degrees, she started to go through the ingredients which she collected as she did. She had all the basics before her. Eggs, flour, butter...What the heck was 'baking soda'? "Duh". she glanced over at her super-sized jug of Bouncy Bubble Beverage! "Aha!", it was obvious that it was just soda you would bake with. After dumping this all into her mixing bowl, she started to wonder what they meant by 'cup'. What cup? Whose cup? Celestia's cip? Maybe it was whatever cup you had? That would be her now empty super-sized mug she had snagged from the Cantermart. While her parents didn't like her consuming too much sugar, they did allow her to purchase one drink for the trip. They just didn't say what size!

As she thought of parental disprovable, she let out a groan as the pony noticed that 'salt' was in the recipe! Salt! That was one thing her mother was always telling her father not to use too much of! He liked it on his potatoes and he liked them on his hard boiled eggs. Maybe it was a misprint! Nopony would want yecky salt in their chocolate! So she decided against it, and only a teaspoon of cinnamon! Really? It was supposed to be CHOCOLATE CINNAMON! Again, this would call for some improvisation! A little bit of cinnamon would be fun, but wouldn't a lot more be even better? This called for a cup of the sweet stuff! Yum!

Wind smiled briefly as the unicorn stopped to write a little note of her own to Bebop. It was now very obvious to her that the 'sweet' in her name reflected on her personality, and not her ability to make sweets. Or maybe it was both. With the smile still on her face, she returned to her cooking. Butter Milk? What sort of cow gives that sort of milk? Maybe this was meant to be cooked in the crazy 'Everfree Forest' where they probably had cows made of butter there, and ponies had to wear their shoes on their heads! Knowing she would never have such a silly thing here, she just added an little extra milk with the mix, and even more butter. This was gonna be good! After deciding to add an little more cinnamon and sugar, she patiently waited for the stove to preheat.

While she waited, Wind Walker started on the frosting. "Yow!", she yelped as Bebop's horn went off, "Why didja do that for?", she asked her friend.
