Suddenly a wailing alarm was heard Sherma frightengly explained

“OH NO! the alarm is at level 3! They will be looking for us now and they will be ready wearing amour and taking combat positions!”

Augercorn chuckled and slapped Sherma on the shoulder “HAHA good! But uh which way to those boats?” Sherma nodded and ran with augercorn across the road pass some buildings to where the siege wall was visible.

The wall had a small opening which had about 50 camels in amour with shuro swords and metal shields

Sherma gasped at seeing the large force and looked back at the 2 ponys. “you can fly right? can you fly us over?” augercorn whispered “I can climb if you don’t want to kill all those guys, its up to you!”

"i cant fly us all over, i say that we fight threw these b@stereds and escape" Sky said as he smiled, ready for combat.

“All right Sky! Take out those archers in the towers and siege wall I’ll start on those jerks on the ground!"

The camels actually had nice amour; it consisted of a helmet with a chest plate with gauntlets and leggings. The only weak spots were of course the joints, face neck and back of the legs.

With that augercorn strutted out to a few yards ahead of the group guarding the siege wall and shouted “ATTENTION CAMELS! YOU ALL SUCK, AND YOUR GROSS, AND YOUR FAT, YOUR ALL A BUNCH OF RUDE JERKS! And you don’t smell good either!” without fear of the archers he let the horde come at him.

It started with a row of 5 all in a line coming for him. Auger put his two large axes together and with both hands swung a mighty blow, this tore thru the first camel’s amour like aluminum and sent the others flying thru sheer force of impact. (48 camels left)

Augercorn quickly noticed a squad of 8 was running to the left to try to flank him, he charged this group! Sprinting as fast as he could He jumped up and planted his axes into the neck of a guard who tried to outrun him and get ahead. Auger quickly pulled his left axe out and swung hitting the shield of a guard to the right, the impact was so strong however it without a doubt caused recoil which broke his arm and ribs . Without hesitating a for a moment he swung at a camel that came around and tried to attack his other side. This blow cut of the guards arm. Now the 5 camels left in the squad lined up and all tried to stab him at once! Augercorn instinctively jumped and flipped over there blades landing on the shoulders of the middle Camel, normally just jumping on a pony’s shoulders like that would be a crushing blow but his amour protected him. Auger then swung both his axes low cutting off the poor Camels jaw. The 4 survivors didn’t know how to react , the one closest to the left tried to make a thrust with his sword. But from the falling camel Auger stepped on the blade sending it into the amour of the dead camel, before the camel fell completely Augercorn swung the axe at the camel who he pinned his sword and instantly killed him. Augercorn did a disk jump (basically a jump to the side where you hold your body flat making your body into a Frisbee) off the camel who was about to hit the ground and stuck his axe out so it sliced the throat of the other camel on the left who didn’t know how to attack to such a big pony flying in the air like that. (42)

Augercorn quickly spun his head and realized the main force was forming themselves to surround him by making a circle, He quickly charged to guards near the entrance of the siege wall who were trying to organize them selves. 10 were running to position And augercorn quickly decapitated the first one who essentially did the work for him by running so fast. The one behind him stopped in panic and while he was trying to get a grasp of the situation Augercorn spun behind him and with the axe slashed his knee

Augercorn said to himself

There tactics, they are trained to surround and strike at once which is a good idea. But they aren’t trained for me!

Augercorn did a high back flip and landed straight where the last of the squad was taking his place, not knowing what to do now that his tactics was screwed up Augercorn planted the axe in his face. Auger left the axe there and picked up a shield and instantly spun it to his back, he was surprised no one tried to hit it, he quickly glanced back to see instead the camel jumped back. Augercorn sprinted threw the gap he made in the guys and positioned himself in between a building and the siege wall making a tight alley. (40) a group of 8 ran after him in the alley

Augercorn waited until they were well into his ally, they could now only attack him in 2’s. Augercorn put his shield forward and trampled the first 2, the 2 next in line reacted quickly trying to defend themselves they both jabbed there swords at Augercorns legs, Augercorn was able to side step but had a large gash above his outer ankle! He slammed his axe into the cheek of the other pony on the right, he dropped the axe and shielded from the camel on the left who was trying to hit him with quick blows from his Shuro sword. Augercorn took a deep breath and as soon as he heard the next metal “thud” on his shield, Parried and pushed the blade to the left leaving the camel open Augercorn grabbed the camel by the neck and while squeezing slammed him into the siege wall leaving a spot of blood where his head touched. He then threw the dead or concussed camel at the 2 coming for him next. The one on the right was able to dodge with what little room he had. But the one on the left was knocked over as his ally fell on him. Augercorn quickly picked up a sword and swung at the right guard. But the camel managed to block it!. Augercorn dropped his shield and with two hands entered a battle of wills with the guard. He held his bladed firm against his and surprisingly the camel kept it up, for a moment that is, the camel struggled as Augercorn slowly forced both blades down and slowly dug the camel’s own blade into his neck. (34)

Now the main force had reacted and the survivors of the party in the alley retreated. Augercorn had guards at both sides of the alley and they were shuffling to put their spearmen first on both sides. Augercorn used parkour and ran a few steps up the siege wall jumped and extended his hands to reach the ceiling of the building that formed the alley, he did a half pull-up and lifted himself up to the roof and looked to the sky for Sky “HEY BRO! you doing all right?”

so far Augercorn's strength and agility kept him alive but now something was wrong, he was more tired than he should BE. he quickly surmised the dessert heat was putting a heavyer tax on his body, he could probablly finish the rest of the ponies down there but he didn't know if he could keep it up for 3 more areas.

Sky had smiled as he flapped his wings. He went straight onto the seige wall. Sky did a quick shot and took down a camel archer trying to shot auger. Sky fired five more arrow's, each one hitting its mark, sky then ran into the tower. In the next minute over 20 camels went flying out the window with either a arrow stuck in them or a sword stuck in them. Sky smiled at his handiwork. Sky had only used normal arrow's, not his custom ones so they were easy to replenish. Sky smiled as he ducked from one camel who had tried to be a hero, though when sky dropped his bow and drew his sword and sung at him, the camel managed to block with ease."So, a challenge eh? Welll i dont think this will be that hard" Sky said as they rushed in a clash of swords

All right 34 bad guys left! He took a deep breath and wiped a large sheet of sweat off his face.

Augercorn then saw a couple spears that were being thrown from the ground he decided to just run and jump of the other side other the roof.

“HE”S OVER HERE!” shouted several Camels.

Augercorn forgot he had no weapon! There were a couple watching for him, and now more were coming, 1 Camel charged him with a sword and shield, he had a smug look on his face probably thinking he could easily stab Augercorn while he was unarmed. Once a few feet away he brandished his sword smart enough to not charge the muscular pony. With more Camels coming to fight him on this side Augercorn ran as fast as he could, sprinting around another building close by, he stood ready in ambush. Soon enough a Camel ran around the corner not expecting him to be right there! Auger quickly picked up the camel and threw him across the battlefield. The camel was slammed into a wall but the amour reduced most of the damage. More camels quickly came to. Augercorn focused on the one he just threw He ran away from them and slammed into the thrown Camel who was just now stating to stand up, Augercorn used his strength to pin him; and got a hold of the camels sword. And in one quick slash opened up his neck causing dark red blood to cover Augercorn! (33).

Augercorn quickly took note of how different the camel’s running speed all were. This gave him an idea. He took a moment to recover some energy as the camels all charged at him and when they got close he began to run again. At first he was purposely staying ahead of them but once he got some space he slowed down, sure enough a manageable amount of camels were way ahead of the main force. Augercorn turned around and stabbed a Camel who was in mid run in the throat, acting as fast as he could he withdrew the blade and made a slash for another camel to the left. The fast group was now ready for him and he jumped back dodging slashes from 2 camels. The camels quickly followed thru and swung again while stepping forward. Augercorn tried to doge but they staggered their attacks and despite his fastest speed at the moment got sliced on the bicep. Augercorn stepped forward and with a headbut impaled a camel with his horn. The other camel took advantage of the occupied Auger and slashed. Giving him a long cut on the side of his rips, it was a shallow cut with only small bleeding but still it hurt. Augercorn tossed the corpse at his attacker. Not surprisingly the agile camel that had managed to hit augercorn 3 times now dodged it, seeing the crowd finally catching up Augercorn tried the running trick again. (30)

He ran forward again in a direction away from the main horde. This time due to fatigue, injury? Or maybe the camels were just super enraged for losing so many of there own to one guy! A group of 5 plus the agile Camel were very close behind him. He made sure he had some distance between the main horde and turned around to face them, this group was able to stop when the agile Camel signaled them all to halt and grabbed one of them who almost got to striking distance of Augercorn. The agile Camel quickly stepped forward and made a quick swipe But Augercorn Blocked, with great skill the agile Camel pulled back his attack and stuck for an overhead attack!. Augercorn saw this and swept his sword in a basic overhead defense, which caught the agile camels blade! Augercorn pivoted on his feet and for a moment had an opening at this agile camel BUT suddenly

“AWWWWW!” the rest of his squad came to his aide in a pincer formation. Augercorn jumped as high as he could and 2 of the camels clumsily swung at each other. Augercorn landed and slashed the camel that had just killed his alley. The rest of the pincer formation came at Augercorn running, the first strike came from a camel to the left. Augercorn blocked it and used his body weight to swing around and slash killing the first camel. With a sidestep and swing he killed the next one who had slid in the sand trying to stop but was not able to! Now only 1 and the agile camel remained, they both charged from the left and right. Augercorn rolled forward he stood up as fast as he could but the agile camel slashed at his back, this wound was a bit heavier than the one on his side, but it would cause some blood loss no doubt. Augercorn spun around and blocked an attack from the agile camel. They both pulled back at the same time for another blow. The other camel survivor than intervened but Augercorn jumped back and twisted the Camels arm making him a shield. The agile Camel stopped his assault at seeing this, only to step back and smile

DAMIT! I STOOD STILL FOR TOO LONG!

A quick scan of the battlefield confirmed this, he was completely surrounded by the spear yielding Camels whom had made a circle with him and the agile camel and his new shield. The agile camel made a gesture for the spearmen to stand back, which they all followed. Augercorn gritted his teeth and with eyes of rage focused on the agile camel. He then cracked the arm of his shield and then yanked it to tear the Camels spine apart, he quickly took the dead camels sword dual yielding the blades and said “you have liven long enough!” pointing to the agile Camel (25)

He did a quick check for Sky

Sky jumped out of the tower with a camel in froint of him. As sky smashed onto the ground the camel's spine broke, killign it. Sky smiled as he got to auger"So, what did i miss?"

Angrily Augercorn growled “THIS ONES MINE!”

And he ran forward with his swords drawn. Sweating bullets he screamed as he made his first slash, the agile camel blocked and ducked avoiding augercorns left sword. Augercorn slid his sword along the A.C’s sword, but he responded by stepping away ; letting auger stumble on using his own strength, The A.C went for a Jab. But Augercorn knocked it out of the way with his right sword leaving him open for attack.

Wanting to kill the A.C very badly Augercorn put his blades together and swung both with all his might from the left side!

There was a spark from metal on metal, which temporarly took away augercorns vision, but then he felt the swords go thru flesh!

When his vision returned, augercorn realized what happened. The A.C managed to block the attack, but not correctly and this sent his blade flying and the spark, then Augercorn simply broke the amour. The a.c dropped to his knees and curled up on the ground no more. 24

The spearmen surrounding them were all shocked and horrified at this, one yelled at the top of his lungs and lunged forward. This caused them all to lunge at once!

Augercorn now starting getting his groove back after dealing with the A.C easly grabbed one of the charging spears by the pole and pushed it away, then took a step putting him harmlessly in-between the wood poles. Taking another step he yanked the spear out of the ponies hand shattered it and quickly stuck it in the camels eye. augercorn was now to close to use the spear on, the guards didn’t have enough time to switch weapons and move back, because in seconds Augercorn used his speed and shrunken spear to take out all 10 on his side, this would leave 14 for Sky whom he was sure could manage

Sky smiled as he drew his sword. He rushed the group. As he got close he cut dowwn the first four with ease, then as a spearman came to stab him, he kicked the spear to the ground, opening a opportunity to strike. Sky decapitated his head. As the camel fell sky smiled evily at the group. As the rest came to kill him, sky flapped his wings, creatign a strong wind which sent them flying into a wall. Only one survived. As the survivor landed on the ground he rushed sky, only to have his nose broken by sky's foot. Sky mercifully killed him painlessly"That was fun" He said

"hey sky?" asked augercorn

"how are you with first aide?" he said pointing and showing the slash on his back

"Im alright with it" Sky said as he looked aroudn for a first aid kit. When he foudn one he grabbed it. Inside was exactly waht he needed. Sky smiled s he walked over to auger"How deep is it?" He asked, not being able to tell from where he was standing

Augercorn pointed to his back and said “I don’t know but I feel a decent amount of blood.”

Sherma who at this point was almost in shock about how well the two ponys managed to take out the entire group gently took the bandage’s from Sky and said

“I’m pretty sure that was the base leader's force! If we hurry I’m sure we can get out of here with minimal resistance.”

Rather skillfully he packed Augerconrs wound with bandage and tapped it up

“I owe you both my life …. Well mostly Augercorn because he didn’t throw ROCKS at me.”

Augercorn turned around and pointed at Sky mockingly laughing a little

“come if we leave now we wont have much to fight” and with that Sherma ran thru the opening of the siege wall.

Augercorn began running and said “hey Sky how many arrows do you have left?”

"I only have five normal ones but i have at least a dozen custom" Sky said, then he started to wonder what his crazy friend had planned. sky shethed his sword and ran after auger

While running Augercorn scooped up Sherma and said

“heres the plan see how the siege wall runs the perimeter of the base, we get up there and its smooth sailing till the boats.! Can you shoot a rope up there or have anything I can climb on?”

Sky smiled as he kept on running"You insult me" Sky said as he drew one of his custom arrow's, it was a rope arrow. He smiled as he looked at augercorn"Where do you want this?" He asked

Augercorn picked up Sherma and pointed to the top of the wall with the other.

He trusted Sky and he trusted his archery.

He began free running up the siege wall knowing the rope would come to him

Sky took his time and shot the arrow with perfect aim, hitting exactly where auger wanted it to

Augercorn grabbed the rope and ran up it, once on top, he set down sherma and they both ran, the distance between them and the boats reduced dramatically they both kept up a pace

“there! shouted sherma

sure enough at the end of the area were 2 boats and a river leading south. “once close enough Augercorn slid down with sherma, there were a few camels around the boats but augercorn wanted sky handle most of them while he protected sherma who readied the boat.

Sky had kept up with the two by sprinting, he had shot arrow's at anyone who got too close to Sherma and augercorn. As they got too the boats sky fired off five arrow's, each one scoring a headshot on the Camels guarding them."Get them Ready" Sky said as he aimed and looked around once

Sherma pulled out his blade and cut a rope holding back the boat, there was one more but he ran onto it and down the deck, augercorn waited between the dock and the boat. Sword in hand ready to protect

He was exited they were almost put!

A squad of 5 came running p to him, of course they tried to circle him, Augercorn countered this by grabbing a nearby anchor and chain and swinging it, decapitating a few of camels trying to surround them. Sherma then came up from the bottom of the boat and ran by auger grabbing a big heavy bag of coal? Augercorn guessed it was coal. He ran up to his friend and took it out of his hands, and tossed it onto the boat, this continued for 2 more bags, till finally a lone camel came charging up to him, Augercorn simply chucked the bag at him giving him a decent head injury. Sherma then shouted, “THAT IS ENOUGH COME COME get on!”

Suddenly from behind sky

“AWWWWW RAAGH!”

augercorn saw a very mad camel with a big shield charging at him

“is that the same screaming guy as earlier?”

Sky heard the yell and the clomping of the armor as he rushed him. As he got close sky barly managed to put his bow away and draw his sword. Sky flapped his wings and managed to doge the attack though something stopped him and made him land behind the attacker. Sky blocked the camel's blade then kicked his shield, using the wait of it to push him back. Sky kept kicking until he had pushed the camel to the river. With one final kick he pushed the camel into the river. Sky then rushed back to the ship"Lets go" He said as he shethed his sword, drew his bow and started firing once again

With everyone on the boat, Augercorn cut the last line and the ship went rather quickly down river, they were approaching a bend and were soon out of sight

But in the direction of the base they did here one last

“AGHGHGH!”

“bup-ba-ba-dat-dahdah!” shouted augercorn.

Sherma slumped himself exhausted on the steering wheel

“o.k so now that the tutorial’s done and were in an open world this is what we have to do

1. bring Sherma home
   
2. go to that sandwich place I was telling you about
   
3. find out more about the rebels and the pony empire
   
4. this is saddle Arabia so there has got to be some real belly dancers around here somewhere!
   
5. Investigate what it is that keeps pegasis from flying out of the country

"So Sherma, where do you live?" Sky asked the camel. Sky was not looking at the camel, he was just lookign out on the river, enjoying the boat trip.

Sherma tiredly spun the wheel with the curb of the river

“I am a caravaneer, I used to live with my workers and wagons, but now because of the rebels … I have nothing. The only place I can go, I suppose is to my sister’s family in the city of Bonglabay.” Sherma sighed sadly

“hey its all right, I remember I have had to start over with nothing a few times, it can be fun if you look at it the right way.”

Sherma walked over to a map he had taken from inside the the boat, pointed and measured the distance to the town.

“my whole life all I wanted was a modest amount of money and a home of my own. Now without my caravans and savings I have been set back all the way.”

Augercorn was about to place a hand on his shoulder but hesitated

Sherma walked over to sky “I apologies for any offense I made in the cell. I was there for … at least 3 weeks with nothing but fear that that day would be the time they execute me. Thank you for getting us out, thank you”

“HEY I SEE A TOWN!” shouted augercorn exitedly

"Its alright sherma" Sky said before hearing augercorn yell out that he found a town. Sky looked towards where augercorn was looking. He saw the town though he couldnt make out much of it from the distance they were at

As they pulled into the town Sherma lead them up to the dock,

It was a fairly small town but it was bustling with activity and had many shops and places to go. Sherma talked to both augercorn and sky

“please I … I need some rest and I’m sure you both need some too after defeating an entire army. Please I say we sell the boat and take the earnings to buy a inn room and some food.”

Augercorn couldn’t help but feel sad for Sherma he went thru a lot and maybe a good nap is exactly what he needs.

“or … we keep the boat and hear me out here. We keep the boat for travel later on and become superheros! Kill all the bad guys in town and take there money and stuff to get an inn and food!”
