Coat: His upper half of his body is that of a peachfaced lovebird, a beautiful peach face,framed by green feathers in various shades, with his feathers slicked back to look "cool" there is a spot of yellow on his head.

Mane/Tail: His lower body is that of a panther, jet black, sleek, muscular and fast! His wings are light green that go into dark green in the flight feathers, his tail is long and black like that of a panther.

Physique: Martini was made for speed and endurance, able to fly long lengths at great speed, while that doesn't make him a great racer, it makes him amazing for long flights for delivery!

Residence: On the Islands of Gallopocus in the town of CorralWood Coral on Thunderhooves Island.

Occupation: Mail Carrier/ Oversea's messenger/ Occasional daredevil.



History: Martini unlike most that live on the beautiful shores of the islands, is actually a native, born and raised there, and while his home is the heart of the tourist destination, his love for the island extends way beyond that! His mother Ashwoods and his Father Scorch were both two daredevils in it of themselves, constantly flying to the active Fire Foal for photographs, and all over the island in general as they took pictures for pamphlets and brochures to encourage tourists to come to these beautiful and lush shores.


Martini wasn't very old when he rode on his mothers back and was shown the glory of Fire Foal, or the majesty of the Sparkling Sea! He loved it, and he loved nothing more when he learned how to fly, than fly all over it, and swimming in the crystalline waters to admire (and sorta maybe kinda eat) the tropical fish that lived there.


Unfortunately the other's talent with the camera was limited, so instead he helped get the photographs to the press in record time! His body type perfect for speedy delivery! One day though he got dared by a friend of his, a cocky young stallion named Fire Trotter to deliver a package..TO THE MAIN LANDS! That meant fly clear across the sea to one of the pony settlements on the other side!

A lesser griffon would have bawked at the challenge! It was too far! There would be no stops! But Martini just scoffed and accepted the parcel, slipping it over his neck and left wing, taking time to pack provisions and proudly announced he was going to do this! He stretched his wings and with a running start off of the black sandy beach, leaped in the air and took off! First he went at a break neck speed, making it a good distance, but still not quite there ... and he had tired himself out! It was only due to a boat being below him that he was able to rest.. (Though the Pony that was captaining it snorted at the young griffons mission)

Once rested, he took a breath and continued on his way, this time pacing himself, listening to advice he had learned as a fledgeling..ride the currents! With this advice, and now having burned off all the cockiness that had consumed him earlier, Martini made it to the shores of the mainland as the moon was rising high in the sky, delivering the parcel and..promptly sleeping the entire night, tired as any griffon could be.


Returning home the following night, Martini was praised for his capacity for flight, though he bragged a little bit at first, he grimaced, as he noticed the captain there eagerly listening to his tale..so he told the truth, that he had been overconfident at first, and had needed to stop, he hadn't done it in one setting..but that he had still made it.

Fire Trotter was still staring at him with his mouth agape, and Martini was confused, questioning it..

"You made a 3 day trip in 2 days dude"

Martini's entire upper half fluffed up at that! He hadn't even noticed! Glowing with the knowledge that he had achieved something like that! Fire Trotter wasn't the only one to take note of this fact, and the post office contacted Martini soon after the event took place, wanting him to possibly do overseas deliveries for them, they already had griffons doing this job, but it was a long process to train one to be able to go overseas, let alone so quickly, and they saw great potential in the young griffon.

Martini accepted with a resounding "HECK YEAH!" And spent a year shadowing a older griffon postfellow, making the trip with him several times before he was truly ready to do it on his own again.


Nowadays Martini makes his own deliveries out to the main islands, having come a long way from his youth, however on his days off, you can see him flying around Fire Foal, or in the seas, for he truly loves the islands as they are, often avoiding the tourist hubub.


Character Summary: Martini is a cocky little fellow with a love for fast speeds, and long distances, and he is deeply loyal to his home, loving nothing more than a cup of locally grown and brewed coffee, with a side of fresh grilled pineapple! Though he has a dislike of tourists, he does enjoy showing off his home to those who are willing to listen to him ramble for a LONG TIME.


He lives by himself now, but keeps in touch with his parents quite regularly, as he is often the one delivering their work to the mainlands! He also has a fondness for the Wonderbolts, and sometimes when he's alone tries to imitate their stunts (Often meeting with a tree to the face due to maybe flying a touch too low)

He is kind, and confident, and very quick to protect those he cares about, fluffing up when he feels that he needs to be hostile (resulting in looking adorable, not really scary) and he is very quick to make snap judgments, only to be proven wrong later on.

His heart is in the right place, though his head could be a little LESS in the clouds
