This is a joint World of Equestria and Canterlot Chronicles event, meaning that any characters that have been accepted to play in those two Roleplay sections are allowed to participate! Users are free to create their own RP threads during the Crystal Faire, but note the threads marked as Sponsored by the Event Staff. A surprise is in store for those participating in Sponsored Threads, but we ask for this special occasion that a character can be inserted into one Sponsored Thread only, and that you only use the specified amount of characters within any given Sponsored Thread. Otherwise, please limit yourself to two characters per user-created thread. Characters can appear in more than one user-created thread. This thread will serve as a hub for updates as well as the topic that links to all Open threads that take place during the event. There are no special rules beyond Canterlot Chronicles and forum rules for this event except...stay on your hooves...and have fun!Please do not post in this topic. This Faire has turned terrible! But who are these caribou? Read about them here to find out if there is anything we can do to stop them...if there is a way, at least. They are big, strong, fast, and very, very skilled and experienced. Unlike the Changelings who were by and large weak but dangerous in numbers, a single caribou is as dangerous a creature as exists. But what if someone doesn't want to participate? Well, that is easy. The attacks are happening outside of the main sponsored threads. If you don't want to participate, you don't have to! While the optimal situation is that everyone participates in both threads as sort of alternate timelines, we recognize some people don't want to get involved in anything heavy or possibly violent. Of course, the only blow I've struck against them has been indirect, but there's something to be said for a foe when the floor they're standing on makes for an easier target. I just figured that anyone actually touching the Heart at that time would have to be affected by it, but I wasn't sure how much leeway we had over specific actions taken by any caribou.
