Andrea followed Behind Tehengu. Finally they were gonna finish this exam and the Nevermoreseemed to not have noticed them. Hopfully things would stay that way. During the walk, Andrea approched Tehengu, she knew it would be rude to ask but her curiosity was too much to bottle up " Hey! Huge guy, What happened to your eye? Is it messed up? "

Slash shot an unamused look at the girl. "Angel, it's not polite to say things like that" he said. He noticed there was a bandanna over Tehengu's eye when they first met, but he didn't ask because he thought it would make bad memories come back.

Tehengu looked at the girl impassively as she asked about his eye. He remained silent for a bit as Slash spoke, saying she shouldn't ask things like that. No doubt the cat wanted to ask the same thing as well. At least he was being nice though. He looked back to the path, casting a glance at the skies, before responding.

"Yes, it is." He replied simply, answering the female's second question as he continued.

Midnight couldn't believe what she was hearing, sure she was just as curious about his eye. But if he wanted her to know, he'd tell her. It wasn't her place to know what happened, and while it was poking around in her head to ask, she couldn't bring herself to. It was rude, private business. It was like, if someone asked her where she got her weapons from, she wouldn't tell them that, never. And she suspected Tehengu was the same about his eye.

Slash looked around as they approached more ancient ruins. "The Nevermore is circling back, we have to hurry" Slash said as he started to run across he bridge. "Prepare for battle!" he yelled as the Nevermore landed 10 meters infront of them. Slash let Auralynx extend to his elbows and loaded an explosive dust round.

Tehengu ran across the bridge as well as the Nevermore circled around. He skidded to a stop when the Grimm landed, his bow in his hand and loaded by the time he came to a stop. He took aim and fired, the arrow heading straight towards the beast's eye. Before it reached the beast, he already had another arrow loaded and was aiming again.

Midnight couldn't believe what she was seing. The Nevermore was coming after them! Great, that meant they had no choice but to fight it. Midnight had never thought one before, but they were tough customers, that much was certain. She watched Slash load his gaunlets, as well as Tehengu being his attack with arrows. Midnight reached onto her back, slowly drawing her second blade. She raised Requeim, making a mini sling shot for herself and preparing to go in "Suppose we're doing this" she muttered before launching herself straight at the Nevermore. While not the smartest idea for many, Midnight wasn't content with hanging back. Plus it's a giant bird! Not like it was gunna shoot fire at her.

Slash groaned inside his head as he watched Midnight charge at the Nevermore. "I'm going to hold the Nevermore to the ground while you guys hit it with everything you've got. Once it's tired, deliver the final blow all at once" Slash said as he began to rung towards the Nevermore. He over took Midnight by shooting explosive rounds behind him, making sure that Midnight wasn't hurt. He lifted his fist and punched the Nevermore, pushing it against the cliff. Slash quickly shot his rope kunai around the Nevermore's head and pulled it down to the ground.

(Drem. Stahp procrastinating on post!)

Andrea shrugged and said, " Well sure, but it would have been rather dishonest if I pretended I didn't care. " She turned to face Tehengu again. " So how'd that happen? An act of heroism? Tough fight? Embarrassing Childhood memory? " Looking up, Andrea noticed the Nevermore. " Oh boy, this is exactly what we needed to avoid. " Andrea unsheathed her sword and reached for a glass bottle filled with red dust. Crushing the bottle, Andrea applied the dust to the sword as she tried making her way across the bridge, a plan that was doomed to fail as it Landed no more then Ten meters away. Watching the others just jump right to attacking, Andrea couldn't help but feel a tad disappointed. " Come on guys, We need some coordination! their's no way we can take it head on! " As she finished talking, Slash seemed to just Launch forward. " Well... I guess a bad plan is better then no plan? "

Tehengu ignored the female's follow-up questions, taking aim again as Slash and Midnight rushed forward, Slash dragging the bird's head down to the ground. He fired his arrow, the projectile burying itself in one of the beast's eyes. He simply kept firing arrows into what looked like weak points, ignoring the female's words save for what applied to the fight. Coordination and planning were all well and good, but they didn't really have the time to do that stuff this time.

Midnight saw Slash get ahead of her, using his rope to bring the Nevermores head down. Midnight smirked, maybe this was gunna be easy as she hoped it would be. Powering up Requiem with Dust, she landed on it's back then leaping into the air, using Requiem to fire down a barrage of firebolts into the beasts back, before gravity startst to pull her down. Spinning in the air, she landed carefully on it's back and started hacking away, before noticing one of it's wing claws going for her. She broke into a string forwards, leaping off it's head and landing on the bridge, turning around, spinning her blades in her hands. It was tough, she'd done a full combo into it, and it didn't seem fazed. And she honestly doubted Slash could hold it down forever, it would get free eventually and then everything became that more difficult! She turned to see the other girl whose name she never actually learnt seemingly just standing there watching.

Shaking her head, Midnight turned her attention to the Nevermore, only for a wing to seemingly come out of nowhere and knock her back, taking the wind out of her as she crashed and rolled along the bridge, stopping at Tehengu's feet. She shook her head, but didn't feel like getting up, instead opting for a short break after that mean hit.

"Deliver the final blow now! Aim for the neck!" Slash yelled as he went under the bridge. He put his feet on the bottom of the bridge so he stood upside-down, pulling hard on the rope that was around the Nevermore's neck on the top of the bridge. He gritted his teeth as he felt the Nevermore struggle under the rope, beating it's wings to free itself. Slash yelled as he pulled harder, the rope sinking deep into the Nevermore's neck and starting to tear flesh. Slash would only be able to cut halfway, since the rope isn't a blade and cannot cut through the bone, he would need the others to go all the way.

Tehengu glanced down at Midnight as she slid to a stop by his feet. She seemed to be staying there, and he couldn't really blame her after a hit like that. He simply looked back up, continuing his barrage of arrows at the bird as Slash did his best to hold the bird down. He took aim at the beast, firing arrows into the bird's neck to try and take care of it before it really became a problem.

Hearing Exactly what she wanted to hear, Andrea rushed toward the monster at full speed. Leaping forward slightly onto it's beak, Andrea used this as a small launching pad jumping slightly into the air unsheathing her wrist mounted switch blade and stabbing it directly into it's neck. Following this blow, Andrea used the rest of the fire dust on her blade and pierced it into the side of the creatures neck.

Slash yelled louder as he pulled as hard as he could, the rope cutting all the way through. He heard the Nevermore stop breathing, swinging back to the top of the bridge and retracting his rope kunai. He ran towards Midnight, kneeling beside her as he asked "Are you alright?"

He checked for any serious wounds before standing back up, look back at the pink haired girl.

Tehengu lowered Aquilam after a few seconds of watching the motionless bird. Had it really been that easy? That had been no trouble at all, really. He looked down at Midnight again, crouching down next to her as he began checking her for wounds. He couldn't find anything that serious, though he let Slash check her over as well.

"Midnight, are you alright?" he asked, looking at her as she laid there. "I could carry you if you needed me to."

Andrea removed her blades from the creature and sheathed them. Normally she'd expect to feel the gratifying feeling of success but. This seemed a little too easy. Andrea turned around and walked toward the rest of the group. " Well, that went better then expected, we only ended up with one Injured, which is pretty good for running in without much of a plan. All in all, it could have been worse. " She said with a chuckle.

Midnight shook her head, more out of her head hurting than anything else. She couldn't feel any injuries, but she felt tired, having having truely recovered from her fight with the pack of Grimm wolves before. She let out a groan as she stood up "I'm....I'm fine, not hurt just...just a little exhausted. The pack of Grimm before took it out of me, but I can walk, don't worry about me" she said, placing both her weapons back onto her back. "Now lets get going..."

Tehengu had been about to pick up Midnight when she said she was fine, claiming she just hadn't fully recovered from her earlier fight. That was entirely possible, as that battle was no doubt tiring for her. He nodded at her words, walking off with her and the others as they headed towards the cliff.

Slash continued to walk, making it backup to the cliff in a sort amount of time. "You did good work. Take a short break and meet at the Hall for the results in fifteen minutes" Goodwitch said. "Please hand in your relic as well"

Slash realized that the girl and Midnight talked more, and he talked less. This is probably what happens when people get to know each other. He turned towards the rest of the group and smiled. "We did good work. Shall we go to the dinning hall to grab a bite? There is going to be a big lunch after the results, so don't eat too much" he said putting his hands behind his head.

Midnight turned to Tehengu as they were asked for their relic. He was carrying the knight they'd picked up, well, she picked up but she trusted him to carry it more than she trusted herself.

At the offer of food, Midnight paused. She wasn't hungry, she'd snacked before and she could easily just wait for lunch. Besides, she was now partners with Tehengu, and she'd just have to learn to get along with him, which meant understanding him. As much as she prefered her solitude and loner act, she had no choice in this case. "......I, maybe..." she said, most stuck in her own thoughts about how she'd 'get along' with Tehengu for the next 4 years more than anything.
