Midnight was becoming more and more unlike herself with every passing minute. After tearing the head off a beowolf and punching one through another's stomach, he had some time to look at her direction. It's worse than he thought, but luckily Tehengu was there to give her some backup. Slash would lend them a had but he's already busy with...wait, no. Slash smirked and decided to leave them be, planning to assist only when absolutely necessary.

He continued fighting, doing a series of punches before doing a right-hook to send it through a building. Slash jumped onto the back of a close one and twisted its neck, jumping off after to throw the dead body at another creature.

As they wandered the remnants of the town, Andrea not been paying attention much to the conversations that we're being had. She just looked around taking in the sites. But also thinking. She would occasionally glance around at her team mates. After one last look at her surroundings, Andrea looked toward Midnight, finally seeing the shield. " Purrfect." As they arrived on some kind of cliff face, Andrea spotted the large Grimm that the boys were watching smiled " now that's what I'm talking about. When do we get to fight that? " but before her question could be answered, they were already being ushered along. As they continued to wander, Andrea had overheard the comment about staying the week. Not so bad she thought. Give us plenty of time to do stuff.  A little while later, the group had finally stumble upon a  creature of Grimm, Andrea was a tad disappointed when she learned that tracking to it's pack could take awhile. " Aww. But just one is no- Oh hey that's convenient!" She said as the pack suddenly arrived. Seeing as they had been spotted, Andrea had decided to hang back with the archer and use her semblance to grab the largest metal object(light post) in reach and drop it on a few heads. Noticing Tehengus troubles, Andrea swung the post in his direction, attempting to provide relief.

For all the skill she had, she was limited in a single fact. She was a single faunus. Hacking and slashing with all her strength was only achieving so much, and slowly, but surely, her Aura began to fade from the claws that were coming in. She'd successful taken down a large number, but one final strike from behind dropped her Aura into the 'red zone'. She realized, far too late, how much trouble she was in. Surrounded on all sides by Beowolves, and lacking much Aura to protect herself, she realistically had one option. She placed one of her weapons onto her back, and drew out her shield.

Now, each time a wolf struck, she worked on deflecting the blow, but struggled to cut down the wolves. Frustrated, but she knew it was her own fault. Her obsession with the small picture had meant that now, in the big picture, she was in trouble..

Tehengu gave a nod to Andrea, finishing off the remaining wolf before looking back to the battle. His eye widened a bit at Midnight's predicament, switching back to his bow and knocking an ice arrow.

"Mid! Shield up!" He yelled, firing the arrow into the air. If she did as he said and hunkered down, the arrow would hit her shield and a dome would form around her to give her a moment to recover. He had even followed up with another ice arrow that would shoot shards of ice out of the top of the dome. Wether that worked as intended or not, he fired arrow after arrow into the wolves surrounding Midnight, helping her get rid of them.

"Ah, there it is." Slash smiled, watching Tehengu and Midnight work together again. Their execution is messy, but at least it's getting the job done. Slash quickly finished the few that were left around him, doing an uppercut and a roundhouse kick on the last one before crushing it's head against the wall. He looked around and stood ready in case they need his help.

Midnight heard her name and, upon looking, saw the arrow coming towards her! Out of nothing more than raw instinct, she raised her shield as the arrow connected. She had been about to yell at him for trying to hit her, when the dome emerged and the Beowolves were no longer hitting her. The Faunus gave herself a sigh of relief, although...The fact it was Tehengu who had helped her did make her...uneasy. Was this meant to be a sign, from him, that he had moved on? She wasn't sure how much to read through his action, but, while the dome protected her, the Faunus gave herself a break to recover herself and her Aura

Andrea swooped the lamp post back around and swiped in Midnights general direction. " You folks can't die just yet! I still need you for things!" Although quite dangerous, especially in a pack, the mostly mindless creatures of Grimm were powerless to the might of a flying lamp post being manipulated from afar.

"Good work guys! We're almost done here." Slash said, quickly jumping in next to Midnight to help finish off the last group.

Cinder waited for them outside. "About time, let's go."

Tehengu finished off another wolf with three quick shots to the eye, turning his attention to the few that remained and dropping another one with a charged shot. He would let Midnight get herself out of the dome if she wanted to come back into the fight.

The Faunus did indeed, once she felt her Aura recharge a little, leap back into the action, both her blades back in hand. She moved at the last pack of Grimm Wolves, quickly dispatching off the rest of the wolves, and while her Aurea was low, it wasn't down...yet.

Once the wolves were dead, she looked over at Tehengu from the distance on the battlefield. Part of her wanted to scream at him, beat the answers out of him she wanted...no, needed to hear. Lash out with every bit of pent up emotion that had been boiling and festering within her for the past few days. Did he hate her, love her? They'd kissed, and for that, she was certain he liked her. But...When he found about about Grim, he'd acted to...Immature! As if having an ex was a crime, although...Midnight wasnt' sure if Grim counted as an ex, given she was still in love with him, in her own way.

But instead of all that, instead of confronting him and getting the truth out, she simply walked back to the main group, swords back onto her hips, and was silent. She didn't know what to do, and there was no one who could point her in the right direction...She was lost in broad daylight.

Silver smiled and winked to Aisha as he stepped through the door, only to be scolded by Cinder outside. He followed her looking at his scroll while they walked. "You need to lighten up Cindy." He replied jokingly before realizing he had probably made a mistake.

Cinder stopped in her tracks and slowly turned around, eyes narrow and sharp. She faced forwards again before continuing to walk down the hall.

With a couple more punches, Slash finished his last grimm and smiled. "Splendid work! Now, let's keep going! There are more grimm to eliminate!" the Professor continued to march along, commenting about the state of the city.

"Are you alright, Midnight? You didn't seem like yourself just now, it's affecting your performance." Slash asked, using this opportunity to find out what's going on, hopefully getting information about Tehengu too.

The Faunus looked over at Slash, taking a deep breath as she watched him. Was he worried, probably, but she didn't know if she wanted to care enough...

"Me and T had an argument..." She eventually said to him "When we talked about Grim, he overheard us through the door. Something got into him and we..." She paused, not wanting to get emotional, although one of her hands did make a tight fist. She wouldn't admit that she cried, that she'd run away from Beacon.

She turned to walk away, but her foot stumbled over seemingly nothing, but she recovered herself. Of course, if Slash was being observant, it wouldn't be hard to notice that Midnight was struggling physically. Not only was she being reckless in fights, but under her eyes, black marks had grown, worse than before.

Moving slowly in order to not trip over again, the Faunus slowly walked following the professor, and took a drink of, something within a flask that she was carrying on herself.

Slash looked at Midnight's physical condition as she talked to him and stumbled when she turned away.  He stroked his chin as he followed the Professor, piecing everything together. As far as Slash has known, Midnight and Tehengu never had a disagreement like this. If this involves Grim, Midnight, and Tehengu, Slash can safely assume Midnight's relationship with Grim and Tehengu (whether past or present) was that they were more than friends. Tehengu must have sensed whatever deep feeling Midnight must've had when she talked about Grim because she never revealed exactly what her relationship with Grim was to him or Andrea. This might also be the first time Tehengu has shown this kind of behavior, he always did a good job keeping his emotions under control. Does he feel jealous? Does he feel hurt? What about Midnight? Does she feel guilty? Or maybe just confused? Whatever the answer is, something must be done as Slash cannot stand watching his teammates look so pathetic. Perhaps there will be an opportunity for them to sort it out amongst themselves as Slash has nothing to do with this triangle, but he might have to if they hit rock-bottom.

Andrea watched the remaining Grimm get wasted by her teammates. Dusting off her hands, Andrea tossed the lamp post out of the way and congratulated herself on a job well done. " There. That's done. Thanks for the back up folks. " Walking along with the rest of the group, Andrea scanned her teammates. 'Everyone seems to be in such a fragile state. Uncomfortable around each other. Sounds like the purfect time to pounce if you ask me.' Andrea schemed, planned, constructed potential battle strategies to be used later/ This would be an interesting week.

Silver stood ready to face her wrath as her eyes stared through him. He felt her piercing gaze, something about it disturbed him. She turned away and Silver let out a sigh of relief. "So what are we doing while the students are gone?"

"Nothing really, phase 2 is still weeks away. This is something different." she replied, turning a corner and walking a down a dark hallway. Cinder stopped and faced a little girl around the age of nine. The girl had long brown hair that reached down to her knees, a white frilly dress with knee socks and burgundy shoes. There was a burgundy bow on her head and one tied around her waist. She was also holding a stuffed bear that had probably seen better days, but she stilled looked like one of those creepy old-fashioned dolls. The only thing out of place was the grimm eye-mask that she wore, marked with a small red "v" where her nose would probably be. Looking closely, Cinder could see that her eyes are closed. She herself was not told about what this little girl was capable of, but she felt a shudder that said enough.

----------------------------

The group continued on and kept fighting packs of grimm, until the Professor finally said "That's enough for today, let's set up camp here."

Slash dropped his bag and sank to the ground, exhausted from non-stop walking and fighting. The small room inside the building had holes and cracks on the walls and ceiling, plants were growing into the building too. The faunus got up to pick up some wood for the fire, which is not difficult in a place like this. He dropped a pile in the center and looked for something to start the fire.

After a day of reckless combat and being tired, the Faunus welcomed the possibility of a rest. She sat herself down  and cleaned herself up, her Aura had nearly gone down several times and, as a result, she had a few scratches that she cleaned up. Where she had set herself up was intentional, as close to the fire as possible, while as far away from the others as possible. Despite the fighting and, Tehengus help during it, she wasn't sure just how much to read into it.

The girl took another drink, the mixture within both dulling her sense as well as giving her enough of a kick to prevent her from just passing out from a lack of sleep. She knew the maths, she'd been yelled at for overworking herself once. A faunus her age needed, on average, something around 7 hours minimum in order to remain healthy. The past few days, the girl had been getting 4 hours, 5 if she was lucky, and that set her a breaking point where, regardless of how hard she'd try, her body would simply give out under her. And she feared she was nearing that break point.

Arriving at the would be camping spot, Andrea looked around. Deciding to park her butt close to an exit, she dropped her stuff and unrolled her sleepybag. " Talk about a work out. Nothing better then kicking grimm right in there.... Do Grimm have butts? " Glancing at her other Teammates, Andrea noticed Slash making a make shift fire pit, taking that as her cue, Andrea tossed some fire dust directly onto the wood. looking over toward the other kat, the girl raised an eyebrow. " Is that really what I think it is? Right now? On a mission? "

Slash nodded when the dust was added onto the wood, bursting into flames. He looked to Andrea as she spoke before turning to Midnight, frowning at the sight. "It's time we intervene, she's not going to last long out here if this continues." he sighed, adding more wood to the fire. They must've been confused about their relationship for it to fall apart this severely, but trying to help fix it is not going to be easy. Strange how much destruction Grim has brought to Remnant, even mentioning his name tore his team apart.

The girl was unaware of her teams plan to help her, and the girl continued to drink in order to stay awake. By her best estimate, she had a day, 3 at absolute most, before she just passed out. Given the team was meant to be out here for a week...It didn't bode well for her.

She let out a deep breath, before hearing Andrea asking her to 'share'. The girl looked at her flash, up at the human, and snorted.

"I'll pass" she said curtly "Doubt this mixture would suit you, besides, if you wanted to bring something, you had the last few days"

She stared into the fire as it started up, thanks to the fire dust that was tossed in. She went to blink, but her eyes took several moments to reopen, but she forced them open. She wasn't losing her battle against sleep...not yet.

"Oh don't worry, I brought plenty" she said smugly. While liking her bag " Just thought you'd be up for some camaraderie before you went night night for te rest of the week.  You know, for pleasant dreams." Andrea smirked at Midnight. This was gonna be even easier ten she thought. "So I guess we're sleeping in shifts?" She ask to everyone. " How's that gonna work?"

Slash was preparing his sleeping bag when Andrea suddenly asked a question. "Whoever is on first watch will wake the next person up once their shift is done. The process repeats until it's morning." he replied, brushing off the dirt on his pants as he got up.
