Bellosh
From this point onward, any OOC discussion about the Flash Sentry trial goes here in its own thread. Stayed tuned for updates concerning special RP rules and procedures. For now though, anybody playing a witness with my approval can make an introductory post before being called to the stand. TRIAL PROCEDURES:TIMELINE OF COURT EVENTS:Prosecution makes opening statement, followed by defense's statement.Prosecution witness gives testimony, followed by defense's cross-examination.Rinse and repeat until the defense's turn to summon witnesses comes. Prosecution cross-examines.Closing statements, followed by verdict.WITNESSES: Unless it's an introductory post, witness RPers should not post until they're summoned to testify. The order in which they testify is up to the attorney RPers' discretion.INTERJECTIONS: If needed, the attorneys or judge can interject in a rapidfire-style post to raise objections, issue orders, and et cetera. Interjections are exempt from usual WoE/CC post length standards, so shorter responses are encouraged.COURTROOM NPCs: Only the Judge's RPer has the right to control courtroom personal like the bailiff.CHARACTER LIST:DEFENDANT: Flash Sentry (Bellosh)DEFENSE ATTORNEY: Robikku Pegasus (Robi)PROSECUTING ATTORNEY: *Classified* (Steel)PRESIDING JUDGE: Princess Celestia (Starswirl)DEFENSE WITNESSES:Frostlace (Elder)Ice Storm (Ice)Radiant Steel (Raridash)Randgrid of Heil-Barn (Raridash)Sunrise (Pyro)PROSECUTION WITNESSES:Prince Blueblood (Racken)Maud Pie (Raridash)
Bellosh
Note: anyone with an eligible witness needs to decide if they'll testify for the prosecution or the defense.
PyroBlaze
Assuming you're fine with Sunrise being there, She would probably be on the defense side of things.
moonshineTheleocat
What about impartial?
Bellosh
That's not how it works in a criminal trial, Moonshine. The prosecution and defense will only summon witnesses that will strengthen their cases. You're going to have to choose which side your OC's likely testimony is going to be more favorable towards. starswirlthebearded
I'd like to note that the gauge of "Reasonable Doubt" will be used. (though I think we all know how this will result)
Bellosh
UPDATE: We're just about ready for the prosecution witnesses to come on up. Just curious though, but does anyone have any expert witnesses to provide to the prosecution who weren't present for the actual Crystal Faire?
